Ryan
Played by: Ryan Kaji
Voiced by: Jose David Ramos
A brave kid who can turn into an animated superhero. He is the overall main character of the franchise, and is the voice of reason for the main cast.- Catchphrase: Ryan says "Always Stay Happy and Rise Up!" at the end of most videos
- Evil Twin: Ryan has a fictional evil twin named "Dark Titan".
- Henshin Hero: Ryan can turn into a superhero named "Red Titan".

Marty Stu: Ryan tends to win in most of the challenge videos, which can be quite unfair on occasion. - Super-Strong Child: Red Titan is known for his super strength, giving the ability to physically destroy walls, lift heavy things and more.
Gus the Gator
Voiced by: Julia Stockton
An alligator who loves gummy candy and only wears a red shirt. He is a playful and somewhat ditzy youngster who is one of the first characters to be created for the franchise.- Abandoned Catchphrase: In earlier videos, he used to frequently say "Give me that yummy gummy!", which includes his channel's 2017-2022 intro.
- Acrofatic: He can run quite fast, despite being quite plump.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: In his spin-off YouTube show, he sometimes talks to his viewers, in which he refers to them as the "Little Gators"
- Catchphrase: "Oh My Gummies!" and "Hey There Little Gators!"
- Childish Tooth Gap: His only two teeth are far from each other, giving him this.
- Cloudcuckoolander: He is often oblivious to Gustav's threats and insults, seeing him more as more of a friend than a foe. Gus can also be delusional at times.
- The Ditz: He means well, but can be quite dim at times. He doesn’t even know simple math equations.
- Deadpan Snarker: He is generally nice, but can sometimes be sarcastic due to his impatience, especially to Peck.
- Flanderization: From the beginning to now, you can see that he turned from a nice, but clumsy alligator, into a goofball who loves and talks about his favorite food so much that he has become a Functional Addict of some kind.
- Funny Animal: He's an anthropomorphic alligator.
- Genius Ditz: While he can be clueless at times, he is considered smart by some of his friends, and knows a lot about some things.

Combo Crew's Secret Surprise]". - Green Gator: He's this.
- Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: He wears a red shirt, but doesn’t have any pants.
- Hates Baths: In "Learn About Baths", he does not want to take a bath, until learning about the consequences.
- Heavy Sleeper: He is pretty much a good example of this.
- Henshin Hero: Gus can turn into a superhero that has some water guns, which is seen in several episodes, including this one.
- The Klutz: He often gets himself or others into sticky situations.
- Informed Species: He looks more like a frog or a dinosaur than an alligator.
- The Lancer: The naive and clumsy foil to Ryan and Combo.
- Lethally Stupid: In one animated episode, Gus is said to have ate the entire cake at Alpha Lexa's dinner party once, without realizing that he gave no one else the chance to taste it.
- Meaningful Name: Gus loves gummy candy.
- Naive But Skilled: He knows a lot about trivial stuff such as science and astrology, but is quite irresponsible when it comes to trusting him.
- Ping Pong Naïveté: Gus' overall intelligence varies depending on the episode. Although he mainly has average intelligence, at times he will be naïve and clueless, or quite smart and knowledgeable.
- Simpleton Voice: His voice is this.
- Sudden Intelligence: As suggested in some episodes, Gus is said to not even know simple math equations, but has explained some pretty complicated things to his friends.
- Super Gullible: Downplayed on "super", but he can be quite naïve at times, like in the beginning of "100 Mystery Button Challenge".
- Tired After the Song: An entire episode focuses on Gus having a nightmare, so his friends sing the nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to put him to sleep, and it works for him.
- Thanking the Viewer: In his YouTube show, he ends an episode by thanking the viewer for watching.
- Unexplained Accent: Gus has a more soft, more cute sounding voice, that gives him an Indian-American sounding accent.
Combo Panda
Voiced by: Bradley William Smith
A panda clad only in a pair of red headphones, he's a young and vicious gamer who plays video games. He is somewhat aggressive and stubborn, which can make him very dangerous and reckless at times.
- Accessory-Wearing Cartoon Animal: Combo only wears a pair of red headphones.
- The Ace: He is a skilled gamer, understands how to use construction vehicles and do magic tricks.
- Badass Adorable: Combo has an arguably cute appearance, but he calls himself hardcore.
- Berserk Button:
- If you’re his mom, don’t interrupt him while gaming.
- Don’t make him angry.
- Big "NO!": He does this occasionally.
- The Bully: Combo was this to Peck due to the latter being a nerd, especially before becoming flanderized.
- Bully Turned Buddy: As mentioned above, he has now been slightly flanderized, but it somehow does something good, as the flanderization results in him becoming "good friends" with Peck.
- Butt-Monkey: Even if he deserves it, he is another Chew Toy of the group, whenever Peck the Penguin needs a break.
- In this scene of "Arctic Adventures", he warns his friends about danger in an arctic temple, when Peck the Penguin accidentally causes a boulder that rolls down towards everyone. Everyone is safe, except Combo himself, who is Squashed Flat by the boulder.
- In the ending of "Gus' Magic Show", after performing a magic show, he gives his wand to Gus as a prize, when the latter turns him into a rabbit, and stays like this until the episode ends.
- Throughout the entirety of "EK Doodles Play Soccer with Combo", he gets injured through comical ways while trying to teach two other characters how to play soccer.
- There is also an entire episode dedicated to Combo being bullied by the other characters because of how bad his older videos were.

- Elaborate Underground Base: Combo and his friends have one to escape school tests and bullies. This secret lair is heavily involved in "Combo Crew's Big Surprise".
- Four-Fingered Hands: Combo dons these.
- Flanderization: From the beginning to now, he turned from a no-nonsense, confident hardcore gamer, into a childlike, whiny kid who is sometimes The Chew Toy.
- Funny Animal: He's an anthropomorphic panda.
- Genius Ditz: As mentioned before, he can use construction vehicles and do magic tricks properly, yet he's an absolute idiot at relatively simple things.
- Henshin Hero: Combo can turn into a superhero that he calls his "Super Boss Mode", which is shown in some episodes, like this one.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Normally a cynical, grouchy panda. But, he does deeply care for his friends.
- Karma Houdini: In "Gus Goes Swimming", he goes swimming with his friends, when he keeps breaking the rules. Throughout the episode though, he doesn’t really get punished for it.
- The Leader: Combo is the main VTuber of the group.
- Tuft of Head Fur: Combo has four tufts of blonde hair.
- Mascot with Attitude: Combo calls himself hardcore, reminiscent of that of a teenager.
- Meaningful Name: Combo's name refers to the "Combos" you get in fighting games, as well as the combination of games he's played.
- Naive But Skilled: Combo is a hardcore gamer, but in "Learn Seven Continents", he thinks his backyard is a continent of his own, without knowing what a continent actually is.
- No Fourth Wall: Combo talks to his audience at the beginning and end of every video.
- Rage Quit: This happens to Combo numerous times, due to his short temper and lack of wisdom.
- Species Surname: Combo Panda.
- Trademark Favorite Food: As a panda, he loves bamboo. This is lampshaded multiple times.
- Vocal Evolution: In earlier appearances, his voice was deep and adult-like, but since then, it has become more higher-pitched and childlike.
- Younger Than They Look: Combo has the attitude and personality of a teenager, but in this clip of "Who Knows Combo Better?", he reveals that he is ten years old.
Peck the Penguin
Voiced by: Jose David Ramos (2018-2023), Madeline Dorroh (2023-present)
A nerdy purple Penguin. He is shown to be analytical and studious, which can make him seem boring and annoying, yet smart and bright.
- Adorably Precocious Child: He does very well in school, and his confidence makes him able to do anything.
- Advanced Tech 2000: How Peck names his inventions, but he uses unique numbers for each invention.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Peck's feathers are mainly purple in color.
- Butt-Monkey: Peck is sometimes badly treated by his "friend" Combo Panda, especially in earlier videos, and he is often an ignored character in the franchise.
- Child Prodigy: His main character trait is being a gifted student, well above his grade level.
- Constantly Curious: Well, he has a lot of questions to ask.
- Cute Bookworm: Peck has giant black eyes and his body has a soft, round structure.
- Dork Knight: He can be quite the hero, using inventions and his intelligence to save the day.
- Dude Looks Like a Lady: Some may think that Peck is a female, due to his feminine voice, purple colouring and cute design.
- Fingerless Hands: Despite not having any fingers, he can still hold things by having them stick onto him.
- Funny Animal: He's an anthropomorphic penguin.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Peck has the intelligence to invent many things, including spaceships, ray-guns and more.
- Helium Speech: Peck's 2018-2023 voice has this high pitched/chipmunk vibe to it, that sounds surprisingly similar to Mickey Mouse. His current voice sounds a lot like Pinky.
- Insufferable Genius: He can often get out of trouble with his inventions or ideas, and is very confident about being smart himself.
- Lovable Nerd: Peck is arguably the most likable character in the franchise.
- Meaningful Name: Peck is a bird, in which they Peck with their beaks.
- Nerd Glasses: Peck sports these.
- The Pollyanna: He is optimistic and the most idealistic character.
- Pun: Peck sometimes refers to his calculator as his "Peckulatlor".
- The Professor: He is sometimes nicknamed this. I mean he can invent things and is incredibly smart for his age.
- Ranked by I.Q.: According to this Combo Panda Cutaway Gag, Peck is said to have an I.Q. of 4,761.
- Rich Genius: He might be this, since he has pretty much infinite resources for inventions.
- Sibling Yin-Yang: While he is a gentle, Lovable Nerd, his twin brother Peter is more rude, greedy and snarky.
- Smart People Wear Glasses: The only main character to wear glasses, and the smartest too.
- Stereotypical Nerd: His design and personality reflect on this.

- Toothy Bird: He has a set of teeth, and he's a penguin.

Alpha Lexa
Voiced by: Julia Stockton
A pink cat. She has two different colored eyes, and is the most girly and optimistic of the group. She can be sassy and snarky at times but is overall a sweet and empathetic friend who tries to help the best she can.
- Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: Alpha Lexa is mainly pink and blue in fur color.
- Catchphrase: Alpha Lexa has "Alpha-Awesome" and "What's up Alphassassins!"
- Barefoot Cartoon Animal: Alpha Lexa's regular outfit consists of a pink hoodie and blue skirt, but no shoes.
- The Cutie/Cute Kitten/Ridiculously Cute Critter: Alpha Lexa. Her Puppy-Dog Eyes, sweet high-pitched voice, and colors cannot be ignored!
- The Fashionista: One of her most clear personality traits is her passion for fashion!
- Flanderization: From her first appearance to now, you can see that she turned from a snarky rival of Combo Panda, into a friendly, optimistic and naïve little cat.
- Funny Animal: She's an anthropomorphic cat.
- Gamer Chick: Isn’t it obvious?
- Genki Girl: Her optimistic and sweet personality kinda make her this.
- Girly Girl: She is obsessed mainly with fashion, princesses and shiny stuff.
- Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: In addition to being feminine, she also loves gaming, and is quite sporty.
- Pink Means Feminine: Alpha Lexa's fur color, most of her room and her sweater are all pink.
Big Gil
Voiced by: Jose David Ramos
A blue, humorous and laid-back but provoking shark. He is known for his chill personality and his nicknaming.
- Black Bead Eyes: He dons these.
- The Big Guy: His name pretty much tells us that.
- Comedic Hero: He can be quite the hero, but is also known for his chill humor.
- The Ditz: He makes Gus and Combo look like geniuses at times.
- In "The Spelling Bee", he is asked by a teacher to spell "overconfident", but Gil quickly fails.
- The trivia quizzes in the Fanfest, has Gil often getting answers wrong, even if they're easy and blatantly put out.

- Flanderization: He gets dumber, more optimistic, and more hip as the franchise goes on.
- Improbable Sports Skills: He is quite the fan of sports, especially basketball.
- The Nicknamer: He often gives his friends nicknames, such as calling them "bro" and "dude".
- Super Swimming Skills: He is pretty much the only character who is good at swimming.
- Tailfin Walking: He walks upright on his tail.
- Threatening Shark: Averted with this character, but he does become a straight example in Roblox Shark Bite.
