    Human Colonists

Julie

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fakk2shot1l.jpg
Main protagonist and player character. After sorting out the incident in the film she returned to Eden gathering whoever was willing to follow her. Now she's trying to settle on the planet and get over her tremendous past.
  • Action Girl: She's a pretty competent ass-kicker to put it mildly.
  • Living Legend: Thanks to her accomplishments in the movie prequel she is now known as She who slays Gods or simply Godkiller.
  • Ms. Fanservice: She has an athletic toned figure and most of her outfits are tailored to amplify the impression.
  • Plagued by Nightmares: Despite defeating Tyler she is still being haunted by delusions of him out for her blood.
  • Prim and Proper Bun: Wears her hair like this throughout the whole adventure. It still doesn't deter her sex appeal.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: She's significantly more amicable than in the movie.

Kerrie

Julie's sister. Fought alongside her in the film but has "retired" from combat since then. In the game, she's married to Germain St-Germain and is currently pregnant.

Otto

Eden's gunsmith.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Invents various technological gadgets just for the kick of it. Also apparently is behind the design of Eden's shield generator as well as all the machinery in the city underground.

Aerial

  • Creepy Child: No matter how innocent she looks, there is definitely something uncanny about her.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Julie runs into her during Gith's attack on Eden, shortly before her first encounter with a Soul Harvester. She becomes possessed by Tyler and runs off afterward, never appearing again, not even at the end when most of the town's residents are seen gathered in the Town Center.

Germain St-Germain

Kerrie's husband and Julie's brother-in-law. The Cortez's former engineering officer. He now works as a mechanic in Eden.

    Friendly Natives and benevolent creatures

Obadiah

A tree-like fellow Julie encounters at the outer border of Mooagly Swamps.

Gruff

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gruff.jpeg
An odd fellow living far behind Mooagly Swamps. He's a witch doctor and apparently has extensive knowledge on the powers of planet Eden.
  • Ambiguous Species: You're going to have a hard time figuring out what kind of creature he actually wanted to be. Possible compounds include goat and camel. The most perplexing feature are his antennae.
  • Brutal Honesty: Doesn't even try to hide his kinky personality. He has no qualms about bluntly complimenting a girl's body or even asking if she has any sisters for him if she's not eager to accept his advances.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: Bluntly compliments Julie's sex appeal but otherwise is genuinely out there to help her. Still asks if she has any "sisters for him" before parting with her.
  • Cool Old Guy: Despite his age he's easygoing and even capable to kick some ass even if we don't get to see how.
  • Cool Shades: He dons a pair of orange ones as seen in the image.
  • Dirty Old Man: Is old and perverted. No need to say more.
  • Large Ham: See No Indoor Voice below.
  • Mars Needs Women: Despite not being even remotely human he finds human women sexy.
  • No Indoor Voice: Always speaks in a loud hammy manner.
  • Suddenly Shouting: Is capable of pulling this off despite being already obnoxiously loud.
Oh, I see you got your eyes on my chaingun. YOU CAN'T HAVE MY STUFF!! Beat But for you, you can borrow it.
  • Witch Doctor: He's a mix of this, a shaman and a wizard.

    Savage Creatures

Vymish Mosquitoes

Insect-like creatures, who have arrived on Eden via green asteroids.
  • Airborne Mook: The majority of them. Subverted with the wingless variant.
  • Alien Blood: Vymishes bleed green blood. Their fire-breathing variant bleeds blue blood.
  • Elite Mooks: The blue Vymishes, which breathe fire.
  • Helpful Mook: Using the Horn of Conjuring, Julie can summon friendly Vymishes to help her in combat.
  • Horde of Alien Locusts: Their destructive nature can be whittled down to this.
  • Insectoid Aliens: They have insect traits.
  • Mook Debut Cutscene: Their introduction has them assaulting an unfortunate town resident.
  • Starter Villain: They make up the primary threat in the game's early levels before GITH attacks.

Vymish Mama

Queens of Vymish nests.

Grawlix

Gorilla-like beasts which inhabit many of Eden's caves.
  • Mighty Glacier: Grawlixes are robust and take a lot of punishment before going down but dont move too quickly. Usually.
  • Gem Tissue: Grawlixes possess several blue crystals on their bodies, which allow them to generate natural electrical charges.
  • Lightning Bruiser: One of their ocassional attacks is charging at Julie at quite high velocity for their bulky nature. The attack also involves electricity making this a literal example.
  • Mook Debut Cutscene: Their introduction consists of a baby Grawlix killing Jared, one of Julie's companions. Julie kills the baby, but this just catches the attention of the mother Grawlix. Cue word-for-word Oh, Crap! reaction from Julie.
  • Shock and Awe: Their attacks deal electrical damage.

Lympthorn

Willow-like creatures that inhabit the various woodland areas of Eden. They attack by shooting deadly acid thorns.
  • Plant Aliens: If their plant-like traits are anything to go by.
  • Plant Mooks
  • Stationary Enemy: Played straight with female Lympthorns. Averted with the male Lympthorns, who can unroot themselves and move around freely.

Bird

Giant predatory birds that inhabit Eden's skies.
  • Airborne Mook: They fly around in circles and attack by swooping down at their enemies. They also have a fire variant that explodes upon impact.
  • Beak Attack: Their main attack.
  • Feathered Fiend: Are obviously birds and all out after Julies pretty behind.

Dark Creeper

Bipedal green creatures with jaws for hands that inhabit the swamps.

Ghost

The spirits that haunt the We Cemetery and its associated challenges.

    Gith Industries inc.

Happy Mask Horde

Ghoulish jester-like creatures created from recycled fleshbinder debris. Used as expendable footsoldiers by Gith.
  • Mooks: The standard and most common Gith enemy to be encountered.
  • Zerg Rush: Their only "tactic" consist of swarming Julie en-masse from all directions.

Fleshbinder

A living weapons platform. Gith's heavy assault unit.
  • Bioweapon Beast: Engineered for wreaking havoc if all the guns attached to its crippled body didn't clue you in.
  • Cyborg: Made up of lifeforms from planets conquered by Gith augmented with cybernetics.
  • Doom Troops: The manual states that Fleshbinders lack a nervous system, which means they're impervious to pain, making them dangerous opponents. Despite this, they will react and flinch in-game when taking damage.
  • Mook Debut Cutscene: They have three: the first is when a ghostly one is seen stalking Aerial in "Eden Town Center", the second is in "Shield Generator" where they blow up the aforementioned object, the third, when you fight them for the first time, is in "Eden Market Under Siege", where one torches Aerial's mother.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: It is armed with several different weapons mounted on its ribcage, which include a minigun, Grenade Launcher, Ray Gun, and fireball launcher. It also has a flamethrower in its mouth, which it uses at close range.

Recruiter

  • Invincible Minor Minion: Recruiters cannot be killed, regardless of what kind of punishment they take. Not even the Heart of the We could kill them, as seen during the ending.
  • Mook Maker: Will summon Happy Masks if they are attacked.
  • Technical Pacifist: Recruiters do not attack Julie, but will summon Happy Masks if she attacks them.

Soul Harvester

Soul Harvesters are used to steal the souls from the inhabitants of planets that are conquered by Gith. These are the strongest units in Gith's army.
  • Artificial Stupidity: His tendency to teleport right behind Julie's back can be effectively used to get him in harm's way.
  • Degraded Boss: The first Soul Harvester, faced at the end of "Towncenter Attacked!", is a boss. After that, they began to appear as regular enemies.
  • Kung Fu-Proof Mook: Soul Harvesters are resistant to bullets, explosives, and plasma. The only way to effectively kill them is by use of melee attacks or fire weapons.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: Their weapons consist of their signature soul sucker, which they either use to suck your soul or fire other souls that do high damage, and an ax. They also have the ability to teleport.
  • Teleport Spam: Is incredibly fond of shuffling his position, especially behind the player's back.

Gith the Spoiler

The boss of Gith Industries and primary antagonist of the game.
  • Big Bad: He's the primary driving force behind everything bad happening in this game.
  • Enemy Summoner: During the final boss fight, he occasionally summons Happy Masks, Fleshbinders, and rarely, Soul Harvesters to aid Tyler.
  • Flying Face: He's just a huge disembodied gas-masked head that floats around freely and apparently can even phase through the walls of his own ship.

    Spoiler Character

Lord Tyler

Julie's Arch-Nemesis from the past, who was brought Back from the Dead by Gith.
  • Arm Cannon: Lord Tyler has one for his left arm, which functions as a Swiss-Army Weapon, capable of firing either bullets, homing rockets, or cluster grenades.
  • Back from the Dead: GITH brings him back to life to get his revenge on Julie.
  • BFS: He uses a big white sword named the Sword of Light for melee combat, which he carries with his right hand. Julie later disarms him of it (literally) and must use it to finish him off.
    • He can also gain a bigger version of the electric sword if he manages to regenerate his severed arm.
  • Big Bad Duumvirate: Forms one with GITH, due to the fact that he is not technically affiliated with GITH or his corporation, but is only resurrected as GITH knows he's Julie's number one fear.
  • Breath Weapon: In addition to his above weapons, Tyler is also capable of firing either green lightning or glops of acidic green goop from his mouth.
  • Expy: Of the Cyberdemon from the Doom series, thanks to his Arm Cannon and orc-ish appearance.
  • Final Boss: Of the game.
