Such a waste of time.

The current head of the Gaen Financial Group and the organizer of the WBC in which he also participates, being one of the three American representatives. He is a Hero World user but his strategy is peculiar as he focuses on using impact monsters. Furthermore, his buddy monster Fake Replica Weapon, Gemclone allows him to use Impact Monsters from other worlds.

  • Arms Dealer: J Genesis' plan was to make Gemclone into a weapon of war and win the tournament to make the latter be recognized as the most powerful monster in the world so that he can sell it for a higher price. He abandoned this plan after realizing Gemclone has a soul, and he began to care about him.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: He is broken out of jail by Kyoya, then turned into a crazy guard for Kyoya's building and controlled by Big Machine, only capable of thinking about killing intruders.
  • Heel Realization: Has one when he realizes Gemclone is intelligent and considers him a father figure.
  • Manipulative Bastard: Shows Abygale a video about his origin in order to convince him to stop being Gaito's buddy. All for the sake of trying to derail Kyoya's plan.
  • Pet the Dog: He does grow to care for Gemclone. Eventually.

Masuka Raid's buddy. She is a superheroine from Hero World and an accomplice in his schemes.

  • Our Dragons Are Different: A huge wingless humanoid dragon who wields an anchor.

  • Power Gives You Wings: As "Revolted", he gains a pair of blue and golden wings.
  • Stone Wall: "Revolted" proves a powerful threat in that it possesses 8 soul cards, and prevents Kaido from taking effect damage, meaning the only way to beat him is to destroy him 9 Times.
  • Super Mode: He has two, Stout Wrist Unmatched Chief, Duel Jaeger "Revolted", and Searing Surging Chief, Duel Jaeger "Dynamite".
  • The Voiceless: Aside from some roars, he is entirely silent.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_m073.png
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gemclone_and_stella.PNG
Mini Form held by Stella

A strange Hero World monster with the unique attribute "Null." It is J Genesis' buddy and unlike other Buddy monsters, it is an Impact Monster in its default form.

  • Children Are Innocent: Gemclone is essentially a young child that wants to be loved by his father. Unfortunately, his father is J Genesis.
  • Crystalline Creature: Gemclone looks like a mass of crystalline tendrils and can turn into a crystalline blue Palette Swap of any monster. His Origin Breaker form is a mashup of Bal, Abygale, and Jackknife, with each section being made of a different color of crystals.
  • Glowing Eyes of Doom: Has these whenever it copies a monster.
  • It Can Think: Gemclone has a mind of its own and sees J Genesis as a father figure. It can also communicate, but only with other monsters. J Genesis is unaware of any of this. Once J Genesis learns though, he starts to care about Gemclone. They're finally seen together during the final tournament arc of Buddyfight X.
  • Limit Break: Averted. Unlike other Impact Monsters, Gemclone's Impact Monster form is its base form.
  • Living Weapon: Created to be one that J Genesis would sell to the highest bidder.
  • Our Monsters Are Weird: Gemclone's appearance is not what you'd expect from a Hero World monster, resembling a floating mass of crystals rather than being a machine or a superhero. Characters in-universe even wonder if it's really a monster.
  • Palette Swap: Its base form transforms into crystalline recolors of Bal and Abygale's impact forms. Its mini form is also a blue recolor of Bal.
  • Power Copying: Can copy any monster's impact form, though the ability is apparently gained through an artificial process.
  • Protectorate: While J Genesis is in jail, he is being cared for by Stella.
  • Shapeshifting: Gemclone's ability to all an Impact Monster on top of itself is depicted in the anime as it transforming into that monster.
  • Silicon-Based Life: All of its forms are made of crystals.
  • Sleep-Mode Size: He is finally seen in mini-form during Gao's final battle with Kyoya. He looks like a blue, crystalline version of Bal.
  • Weak, but Skilled: 0 Attack, 0 Critical, and 1000 Defense. However, not only does it give its buddy the ability to use Impact Monsters from other worlds but it can also call any Impact Monster on top of itself simply by paying a gauge without having to pay the call cost.
