The Fallen looks to be the next thing to be axed since there is no real point to it other then negativity.
To re-ascend them, they have to be rewritten with a unique trope that's not being used by other deities and an actual trope.
I would like to nominate a popular critter that is nearly impossible to hate due to how cute it is.
I nominate Catbug to the Pantheon as the god ridiculously cute critters or something to that effect. God help us all if the goddess of cuteness, Chiyo-chan, and catbug meet.
I would like to nominate the Indominus Rex from Jurassic World as the God of Monsters More Intelligent Than They Appear (aka, It Can Think). Any objections or suggestions?
- Theme Song: Indominus Wrecks
- Rank: Lesser God
- Symbol: The Jurassic World Logo
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: Performing better than expected, created from the DNA of several creatures, both extinct and living, being driven to insanity due to growing up in isolation, secretly designed to be marketed as a biological weapon to the government , being nigh unstoppable, Chameleon Camouflage, All Your Powers Combined.
- Domains: Beast
- Followers: The Xenomorphs, The Graboids, The Velociraptors
- Allies: n/a
- Rivals: Tyrantrum
- Enemies: Everything Else
- High Priest: Caesar
- Havoc broke out as soon as this monstrosity ascended to the pantheon, as she immediately lashed out at any and every god she encountered. The gods initially planned to bring her to the House of Beasts and sent the Beast Taming Trio to put an end to her rampage. This turned out to be more difficult than initially expected since she displayed surprising amounts of intelligence for a "dinosaur", managing to throw them off her trail multiple times.
- Ultimately captured, the highly intelligent monster was locked in a larger replica of her pen in Jurassic World, in the hopes that with proper care and love, she could be tamed, or at least brought to a point where she won't try and kill whatever comes her way on sight.
I think there should be a god for friends to bugs any suggestions?
Hide / Show RepliesSorry for the late reply but how about this?
- Theme Song: Agitha's Castle.
- Lesser Goddess
- Symbol: A golden butterfly in a glass jar.
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Portfolio: Being nice to scary animals, Being insanely rich, Having no family, Being completely crazy and creepy, and Stronger than you'd expect.
- Domains: Bugs and Spiders.
- Followers: Stritch, The Aburame Clan, and Wriggle Nightbug.
- Allies: Link, Zelda, Kogasa, The Giant Intelligent Friendly Talking Spiders.
- Enemies: Ganondorf, Audrey II.
- Opposed by/Opposes: Anyone who harms a bug with cruel intent, bug eating plants and evil royalty.
- High Priest: Stritch.
- Agitha was once a simple girl living a peaceful life in Hyrule when she was swept away into an alternate universe filled with war. The other gods were quite suprised to find that Agitha could not only hold her own in battle, she did so with a smile on her face. For her efforts in battle she ascended.
- Lives full time in the House of Insects but sometimes drops by the Royalty Pantheon to visit Zelda and the Nature Pantheon to hunt for more of her 'subjects'.
- Some Gods in the pantheon believe she and Princess Zelda are related but when asked Zelda simply kept quiet while Agitha just giggled. Another theory is that she is a Kokiri who wandered far from home.
- The Gods have been warned to not approach Agitha with bugs as she can suddenly turn extremely creepy as she apparently "knows you have bugs". This change in demeanour has unnerved several members of the Pantheon.
Stating that Ash Ketchum is Pikachu's owner, while technically accurate, goes against the very nature of their relationship of partnership. Can it be changed?

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.I propose Mufasa replace Red XIII(Nanaki) as god of wise beasts.
He is more wise than Nanaki, he's seen as wise in his own canon whereas Nanaki is referred to as young and unexperienced by Bugenhagen.
He's also more well known than Nanaki, no matter how you look at it. He also were there first.
Anyone agree with me here?
Hide / Show RepliesAha! Should have done a more thorough check first then! Depending on his place i might consider asking for his transfer here and getting replaced by someone.
And even if Mufasa is busy elsewhere, why Nanaki? He's never shown to be especially wise unless Dirge of Cerebus does something amazing with his character. Have we really got no one better? Wait... If this is the house of beasts.. why is Baghera nowhere around?.. He really needs a place and he fits the bill better than Red XIII.
...
so how does one go about changing/adding gods to the pantheon anyway? any rules to it?
So, my proposal for adding
Bagheera, God of Awesome Panthers
- Demigod, though within his house, his knowledge of human customs and behaviour makes him as powerful as a Lesser God.
- Symbol: A broken lock.
- Alignment: Neutral Good
- Portfolio: Big Black Cats of the good kind, The Jungle and it's laws, Freed Animals, Seeing opporunities others don't, Scheming even better than humans, taking care of forested orphans, Learning from Humans, Learning to be better than humans.
- Domains: Nature, Cats, need more?
- Followers: The Pink Panther, The Baron(The Cat Returns), Sasaki's pet Iromote
- Allies: Baloo, Mowgli, Sasaki, Mufasa.
- Enemies: Scar, Greebo, Shere Khan.
- Mowgli used to be a follower of Bagheera but after he thrashed a village down by releasing the jungle on it, it almost became the other way around.
- Mowgli and Sasaki are so far the only humans whom he'll let close in on him willingly, with his guard down. Sasaki has even been known to pet him on occasion and often likes to spend part of her day sitting under a tree leaning slightly on ihm.
I dunno, there are felines that are even more awesome. Aslan, for example, although the picture they provided in his entry in the Pantheon would suggest otherwise. Somebody needs to change that. : /

Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.I would like to nominate Sue the Dinosaur from The Dresden Files to the House of Beast. Dinosaurs are, technically, animals, and I believe that she would be an invaluable addition to the pantheon. I'm not sure where she would fit in anywhere else, as I've yet to see a trope for "Zombie Dinosaurs" or anything like it.
Hide / Show RepliesAs what? We shouldn't be elevating characters just because we like them - we elevate characters because they are the ultimate embodiment of some trope. I don't know that Sue the Dinosaur is the embodiment of any particular trope...
She would be the patron goddess of "Raising the Steaks". She would reign over all undead critters, like the zombie animals from the Resident Evil series, the animals from Guild Wars, etc.
Maybe there's a place for her in the Magic or Life and Death pantheons?
Something tells me there's already an embodiment of that trope somewhere in the pantheon...
Freudian Excuse: Not one person is entirely good or evil; something will have to have happened in the past to make them what they are today.I have bit of a problem with The Penguin's position here. Where I have no problem with him being god of Well-Dressed Villains, his first position is eh. Most of the gods in the House of Beasts are at very least part animal, with the rest human gods being there for the nature of their trope. So I recommend moving The Penguin to some other house and giving the God of Birds to some other thing.

Hide / Show RepliesI'd like to nominate Mouse, from the Dresden Files, for a position in the Beast pantheon. In-universe, he's already been acknowledged as a sort of semi-divine being, possibly part angel, if what Uriel said by calling him "cousin" meant anything, and has all the markings of being a hero in his own right. He is brave, steady, unbelievably loyal, and never lets harm come to those under his protection. In fact, he literally has a bark that is designed to awaken those from a magical sleep into a calm awareness without letting them panic.
I nominate him for the position of "God of Canine Sidekicks" or "Loyal Canine Companions" or something to that effect. If people like this idea, I could have a working profile for him within a couple days. Anybody game?
Does anyone think that the Xenomorphs (alien) from the Alien franchise and relate material be included?

Edited by 117.195.109.219In spite of all the creatures here, we still don't have any God to represent Gryphons/Griffins/Griffons.
So here's my suggestion. She's the only "sapient" griffon known with a name, anyway.
Gilda, Goddess of Griffons (G)- Theme Song: Gilda's Rage
- Rank: Lesser Goddess
- Symbol: A griffon's feather
- Alignment: Neutral Evil
- Portfolio: discrimination toward all ponies, half eagle, half lion, "all awesome", being a bully, hurtful pranks, tomboyishness, talking radical, broken haughtiness
- Domains: Racism, Jealousy, Jerkassery, Pride, Smugness
- Allies: As she's still a relatively new arrival in the Pantheon, she has yet to find any non-ponies who 'click' well with her.
- Enemies: Most equine Equestrian deities, particularly Pinkie Pie, equine deities in general
- Once-Friends with: Rainbow Dash
- Opposed By: All equine deities and those who sympathize with them
- Pinkie Pie's on high alert after hearing that Gilda has somehow made it to the Pantheon.
- Rainbow's not particularly happy that she's in the Pantheon, and neither are in speaking or seeing terms with each other.
- Fluttershy has reason to be afraid while visiting the House of Beasts now that Gilda's here.
Well, that's a pretty decent portfolio and it fits Gilda really well.
You got my recommention, though I suggest finding some gods that might get along with Gilda (I'm sure there are afew characters somewhere in the Pantheon with similar personalities).
That's gonna be a bit difficult to do. I don't fully recognize most of the Pantheon to understand if they'd go along with her.
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseIn that case, don't worry about the Allies part, I'm sure someone will edit that section in later.
So I can put this in the page now as it is?
TV Tropes Pantheon Group Members DatabaseI notice that while we have a god of Minotaurs, we don't really have any god of cows, and I think I got the candidates to help remedy that;
Marshal Moo Montana, The Dakota Dude, and The Cowlorado Kid Co-gods of Cows
- Lesser Gods
- Theme Song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_zbeX6yoRI
- Alignment: Lawful Good
- Portfolio:
- All: Power Trio, Beware the Nice Ones, Following the Code of the West.
- Marshal Moo: The Chess Master, Genius Bruiser, Improbable Aiming Skills.
- Dakota: Bruiser with a Soft Center, Super-Strength, having blue fur.
- Cowlorado: Hot-Blooded, Kid-Appeal Character.
- Domain: Justice, Good, Civility.
- Followers: Lily Bovine, Cody Calf, Cowlamity Kate Cudster, J.R.
- Allies: Captain America, all the Equestrian Deities (Applejack in particular), the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jack
- Enemies: All evil-aligned members of the House of Crime.
That's all I got for now, but I'll finish the rest later.
Edited by 67.185.83.28I feel that a god of bugs is needed for this house so here is my choice. Tommyrod from Troiko.
Tommyrod, God of Bugs and Hive Stomachs (Vice Chef Tommyrod, The Bug Tamer)
- Theme: Yasei No Kyoufu
- Lesser God
- Symbol: His Wings
- Alignment: Chaotic Evil
- Portfolio: Evil Cannot Comprehend Good, Monster Clown, More Teeth than the Osmond Family, Everything's Worse With Bees, Blood Knight, The Beastmaster more like Bug Master, Graceful Loser, Jerkass
- Food, Parasites, Beasts
- High Priest: Beelzebub
- Allies: Midora, Stargun, Albert Wesker, Nurgel
- Enemies: Toriko and Komatsu and Fluttershy
- Assists in helping Nurgel and Wesker in spreading the outbreak by lending them his bugs to spread the virus. He doesn't care what happens to the bugs as long as the job gets down.
- Whenever he goes to the food house everyone is always on guard. Not that he isn't dangerous but because of the bugs he carries, and that he waist food if it doesn't have a lot of calories in them
- Is kept in in a far segment of the beast house because he has the tendency to kill animals that he deems annoying. Still doesn't see how that is a bad thing.
- Went to the Nature house once, but after Fluttershy found out what he does to animals, he decided never to return. Something about her eyes.
I would have gone with Shino from Naruto but he only uses beetles.

Dude we need a God for Bears. It can be a good one or a bad one. Will be very interesting to see Stephen Colbert's reaction to either!
Hide / Show RepliesMaybe Baloo if you want a good one. Not sure who would fit as an evil one, though.
Baloo would make a good choice, or maybe Shardik although that might be too obscure nowadays. If you want an evil bear, maybe the one from Over The Hedge?
Trump delenda estVincint is the bear you're thinking of, though for bad bears I'd recommend Mordu from Brave. That many battle scars means this guy's no pushover by any means.
I like Mordu, but what if we had him share the title with Ellinor (Merida's mom who was a bear for the majority of the movie) to have her represent good bears?
Does the Pantheon already have a god that best embodies Sealed Evil In A Can, and if it does not, I would argue that the Nine Tailed Demon Fox best embodies that trope and should have a second title appended to its entry. Sealed Evil In A Can is already listed in its Domains, but I think it should also be a title. Anyone else want to weigh in?
I nominate Beast Boy for god of Animal-themed Superbeings

Note to self: Never bet on Entei. Hide / Show RepliesIsn't Susan Murphy from Monsters Vs Aliens more "Goddess of Giantesses" than "Goddess of 49 ft, 11 1/2 inch Whatevers"? Alternatively, "Goddess of Giant Monsters" would be a better fitting title.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Hide / Show RepliesThat would've fit either the Otherness or Shape better. I moved it to the latter.
Would the Monster Hunter Guild qualify as the Gods of Monster Hunting?
Hide / Show RepliesAs much as I like the idea, I really doubt it is a good idea. It is rare to see group of people to be gods of one trope (outside of House of Music) and due the fact that Hunter's Guild doesn't really have a character to pinpoint to, I makes it bit odd.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Fair enough. I just thought it'd fit being that the Hunters are god like beings anyway and they are the best in that field. Proficient in several weapons, unkillable (you can only knock them out for a bit), and able to hunt anything anywhere with the correct equipment.
Speaking of Monster Hunter, what happened to the trio that was here before? The Lagiacrus, Deviljho, and Breakydios?
I think gamera should be able to ascend to the pantheon proper, at some point.
Watch Symphogear Hide / Show Replies... What are you planning to make Gamera the God of?
Being an optimist is not as fun as it goes.I don't know, but the Heisei trilogy of Gamera movies could play into why he ascends, probably
Watch SymphogearI think we should change Luna and Celestia's title because the term "Alicorn" has been used formally on the show
La unica Cosa de la que estoy Absolutamente seguro es que nade es absolutamente seguro. Hide / Show RepliesMaybe with one of them as the main title and the other a parenthetical. Anything else would tend to lose clarity I would think. I'm going to put "Alicorn" in as the parenthetical for the moment, but others should feel free to alter.
If Nightmare Moon remains in "Shape" we may need a link to that (probably in another section of lore...). Much less weighty is the fact that if Applejack sticks in "Mentalism", the links to her may need updating.
Edited by DracoDei Christian Furry Brony D&D gamemaster & homebrewerI think there are enough Giant Spiders in the multiverse for them to warrant their own deity, as opposed to only being part of the last god on the list. Anyone opposed? Anyone have any ideas for who should be the god/goddess.
Hide / Show RepliesI think that's a fair position. The one that immediately comes to mind is Shelob, but I'm sure there are others.
Or here is an idea: Gohma, Immortal/Regenerating God of Spiders: Could Possibly be a beast version of a time lord of given regenerating powers by a time lord, which would explain it's different forms.
Couldn't Ungoliant cover that and her current title?
I'm too old to be cute dammitThat was what i am talking about. Ungoliant is just a quick way out for all of the Animalistic Abominations but she is only one type of abomination. So either she should be only the Goddess of Spiders and there should be other gods of other types of abominations or someone else should be the god of spiders. Furthermore, I personally think that some gods like Bowser, for example, is the god of all giant reptile monsters or something like that. W Ouldn't that include turtle ABOMINATIONS? so honestly currently Ungoliant is just leeching off a bunch of the other Beast Gods.
I made Ungoliant the goddess of that trope because I figured she was the oldest/most well-known/Most Triumphant Example of it. Plus, as it stands, she covers the Animalistic Abomination trope in general, while abominations resembling specific animals can still be governed by their patron god. For instance, Wolf O'Donnell can still rule the lupine part of the Captain, while Ungoliant gets the abominable part.
Edited by Voyd211 I'm too old to be cute dammitI think the "Winged Unicorn" (Celestia and Luna) section needs to be dialed back...
It comes of as very severe fan-gushing, and this is coming from a fan of the show itself.
Actually, I think it would be hilarious if she was outranked by her own subjects in the trope pantheon.
Edited by PDL Hide / Show RepliesNota Bene: I didn't create the entry in question, although I did add the bit about Rarity wanting them to wear more clothing (no, not out of any sense of modesty). I can't remember if I added the bit about Cadance's potential ascension now that she has gotten more screen-time, but, in any case, I am now against that, since she does better as a Follower of both her aunts and Gomez and Morticia Addams (whose entry I DID take the lead on creating, although I received significant help).
With the disclaimers out of the way:
I wouldn't be adverse to knocking them down to Lesser Deities, since "Winged Unicorn" is hardly a common trope, even compared to some of the things that the Element Bearers are dieties of.
Beyond that I can't comment with much certainty without knowing what exactly you consider unwarrented, and thus what "dialed back" would entail.
In your opinion: Do they have too much in their portfolios/domains? Do their allies/followers entries make them seem too popular? Is the bit in Koku-Oh maybe dating Celestia in his entry a problem? Personally, I don't think that anything without enough personality to have its own listing in the Characters page for Fist of the North Star (and yes, I checked Kokuoh-Go and "Black King" too on that page) would be something that Celestia would consider worthy of being a Prince Consort of Equestria (IE it would be like Fluttershy marrying a panther or something... too close to bestiality). Of course, the Fist of the Northstar fans would probably just say that Koku-Oh is so awesome that it nullifies that particular problem.
Personally, I am not seeing a problem with extensive portfolios, since those can (probably?) overlap.
The paragraph-stuff below the "vital statistics" seems fine to me, since it mostly concerns how the Element Bearers interact with them, and a lampshade hung on the uncertain meaning of "Alicorn". Maybe their awesomeness of their entrances shouldn't be anything too new to deities though...
Edited by DracoDei Christian Furry Brony D&D gamemaster & homebrewerBy "dialed back", I meant have fewer of those "flavor paragraphs".
As for the entry in Koku-Oh's entry... I actually added that a while back (I thought it would be hilarious to have two horses dating...). Other mentions are perfectly fine as they are, anything that has characters interacting with characters from different series is awesome. But with Celestia and Luna, it seems like they're only interacting with the Mane six.
Not to mention that having two separate pics for Celestia and Luna in the same entry is really ugly from a format perspective. If it was one pic with both, that would be grand.
Edited by PDLOk, I am definitely against reducing the "flavor paragraphs", and would be for any entry I have seen. This is electronic media, where you don't have to worry about printing costs, and skipping stuff is at least marginally easier than in print. Building a deep and vibrant setting and/or narrative for the pantheon seems a good thing. They are even at the bottom, so you don't usually have to scroll past them to get at something (I would support new entries on this page being added near the top to keep this the case). Now if the "flavor paragraphs" were to take up more than, say, three average screens worth on their own, that would be an issue. In such a case one is getting into borderline fanfic territory, and I suspect creating a separate page on the wiki with a link to it might be the best way to handle the size while keeping the Beast page readable.
A single image would probably be better, but my google-fu is weak, so it will probably have to be someone else who does it.

Do we have a god/goddess of unicorns? I propose the eponymous Unicorn from The Last Unicorn.
Anyone got an idea for a God of Dragons? I'm thinking Smaug would be nice, but it's been a while since I've read The Hobbit so I'm rusty on how to develop a portfolio for him.
Hide / Show RepliesWe've got Breathof Fire Ryu in Otherness as Lord of Dragons... SHOULD we have a God of dragons as we?? Not a rhetorical question, I want to get some consensus here.
Smaug isn't really much though, not really well known, and there are lots of dragons from both Tolkien and other fiction that would be better, we might want a separate god of Good Dragons and Evil Dragons, since their stereotypes are distinct while overlapping. Draco from Dragonheart is a good candidate for Good Dragons i think.
If we want someone that goes for both Kinds, then Bahamut is always nice, and if we want something else than a Final Fantasy reference i'm sure we can find other suitable choices that are epic and legendary. Heck i'm sure we could find a dragon somewhere fit as an overdeity (Deathwing comes to mind).
Smaug however doesn't really seem.. epic enough, as he's not even the highest ranking dragon in Tolkien's works.
@Schizo Technician: I think we should either have a god of dragons as well, or move the Lord of Dragons here. I don't know very much about Breathof Fire myself, but is this Ryu a dragon/half dragon or something?
