- Ain't Too Proud to Beg: Lopez actually begs Donatello to fix his speech unit so people can understand him.
- Berserk Button: Like canon, Sarge hates the color blue, which extends to anyone who wears blue or has blue skin. Trying to combine red and blue also ticks him off. He also despises orange, as it reminds him of Grif.
- Dirty Coward: After encountering Scorpion, Grif tries to convince him to kill Simmons instead.
- Double Entendre: Donut's dialogue is still filled with these. He claims to not know he is making these in his outro quote with RoboCop and Chun-Li.

- Serious Business: Sarge is furious at Michael Myers not for the many deaths at his hands but the fact that he used a shotgun to kill someone the "wrong" way.
- Sitcom Archnemesis: Nobody embraces the pointless conflict in Blood Gulch with more enthusiasm than Sarge, who wants nothing more than to make swiss cheese out of the Blues.
- Unstoppable Rage: Sarge immediately asks Green Lantern for a red lantern ring.
- Weather Manipulation: Lopez mentions that he has a weather manipulation device in his body.To Thor, Lord Raiden or Storm: “Yo también puedo cambiar el clima. No es tan difícil.” [I can change the weather too. It is not that hard.]
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Grif is deeply afraid of bats and freaks out upon seeing Batman, Batgirl or Batman Beyond. He is (understandably) even more afraid of Dracula and Alucard, if only cause they're more like bats on a biological level and bats tend to follow them around.
Blue Team
Name: Leonard Church, Lavernius Tucker, Michael J. Caboose, Agent Texas
Age: Unknown
Race: Human (Tucker & Caboose), A.I. (Church & Tex)

- Bow Chicka Wow Wow: Tucker is the trope namer after all. He does this in a lot of quotes.

- By the Power of Grayskull!: Caboose attempts this after seeing Shazam transform. It doesn't work.
- Casanova Wannabe: Tucker. Absolutely no women are interested in him.
- Cloudcuckoolander: Wouldn't be Caboose if he wasn't a little... off.
- Dumb Muscle: Caboose is the strongest of Blue Team and is very off-kilter.
- Everyone Has Standards:
- Even Church thinks Butcher is a rage-a-holic.
- Even Tucker thinks Harley Quinn and Jinx are too crazy for him.
"Nope. You're crazier than Dr. Grey. Guy's gotta have limits, see?" - Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy: Like always, Church can't fire a straight shot to save his life. One of super moves is him firing at point blank range and still missing.
- Laser Blade: Tucker's signature weapon is an energy sword that only works for him.
- Leitmotif: “Now That We've Come So Far” by Jeff Williams and Nicole D’andrea.
- Palette Swap:
- Default Armors (Halo 4-5 Models)

- Suddenly Voiced: Unlike the Death Battle, Tex and Sheila can talk.

- Who Wants to Live Forever?: Church admits he hates his nigh-immortality, because of how sucky his life is and being immortal prolongs said suffering.(Outro to Sun Wukong) "Yeah, fuck immortality. Kinda blows ass, honestly."
- Wrong Genre Savvy: Church still thinks he's a ghost, not an A.I.
- You Remind Me of X: Church mentions that Yang reminds him of Tex.
One Punch Man
Tatsumaki
Name: Tatsumaki
Age: 28
Race: Human(esper)
Title: Tornado of Terror
Chosen Voice Actor: Marieve Herington
Stage: City A
Playstyle: Psychokinetic Storm (Zoner/Setups)
- Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: Tatsumaki is one of the most powerful ESPers around and she knows it, figuratively and literally looking down on people.
- Bratty Half-Pint: She's very short and as noted by others, a complete brat.
- Colony Drop: One of her super move involves dropping a meteor on her opponent.
- Curtains Match the Windows: Green eyes, green hair.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Tatsumaki was taken from her home at the age of seven to be trained at her amazing ESPer powers, but was held against her will until a mysterious hero called "Blast" (who oddly resembles Saitama with hair) saved her and told her to not expect someone to always save her.
- Deadly Force Field: Uses a psychic bubble in a fatality to crush her foe into a bubble the size of a gum-ball, and then dissipates it to cause a small blood explosion.
- Emerald Power: Tatsumaki's psychic powers are visually represented by a green glow.
- Everyone Has Standards: Bratty as she may be, she is still a legit hero and does not look kindly upon Vought's own superhero team due to their less-than heroic actions.
- She disapproves with how casual A-Train is with accidentally killing people.
(Intro against A-Train): "You're just fine with killing civilians? Creep."- She is outright furious after learning Homelander left the people on the plane to die.
(Intro against Homelander): "You could have saved them... You LET THEM DIE!"
(Outro against Homelander): "You're supposed to PROTECT people, you heartless bastard!" - Foil: To Mob. They're both incredibly powerful psychics but whereas Mob believes his powers don't make him inherently superior to those without, Tatsumaki is very smug about how powerful an ESPer she is.
- Green-Eyed Monster: She is quite envious of Wonder Woman, due her status as the most iconic female superhero and her beauty.(To Wonder Woman): "Everyone thinks you're soooo powerful and soooo beautiful! I'll show them all!"
- Jerkass Has a Point: She is right that A-Train should focus on doing a good job as a hero, instead of being the best.
- Leitmotif: "Tense" from One Punch Man.
- Little Big Sister: She's smaller and younger-looking than her sister Blizzard, but she's actually the older of the two.
- Manchild: For a woman in her thirties, she is noted to not be very mature. Even Toph thinks she's immature, which even she knows is saying something about how bad Tatsumaki is.
- Mind over Matter: Tatsumaki is one of, if not the most powerful ESPer in One-Punch Man, capable of flight, creating powerful whirlwinds, lift multiple tall buildings and giant boulders to throw as weapons, and even pull a meteor from space to attack her opponent.
- Mundane Utility: In her friendship, she uses her powers to change her hair.
- Not So Above It All: She gushes over Kirby, before saying she hates him.
- Palette Swap:
- Standard Appearance
- Hotspring Resort outfit
- Fubuki's Outfit
- Witch costume
- Pajamas
- Power Floats: She tends to use her psychokinesis to hover above her opponents; she is both literally and figuratively looking down on them.
- Psychic Powers: Tatsumaki is an esper, and the strongest one in her universe.
- The Rival: To Mob.
- Smug Super: A major reason for her bratty attitude is that she's immensely powerful and is completely aware of it.
- Strong and Skilled: Her powers have been tested since she was 7 years old and she is currently one of the top-ranked superheroes in her world.
- Tornado Move: One of her super moves.
- You Need to Get Laid: Android 18 thinks she would calm down if she got a boyfriend.

Name: Genos
Age: 19
Race: Human (Cyborg)
Title: The Demon Cyborg
Chosen Voice Actor: Zach Aguilar
Stage: Outside Saitama's Apartment
Playstyle: Upgradable Cybernetics (All-Rounder/Install)
- The Ace: Intelligent, cool-looking, and incredibly powerful. He even becomes one of the top 17 heroes right off the bat. It's just that Saitama blows him out of the water in terms of raw strength, speed and invulnerability.
- The Apprentice: To Saitama after the Caped Baldy saved his life from Mosquito Girl, with Genos in awe of his power and becoming his disciple to become stronger.
- Arm Cannon: Genos' primary weapons are the Incineration Cannons, which in their base form are exhaust ports on his palms that he can use to both fly and fire energy projectiles. By combining them together, he can launch the even-stronger Spiral Incineration Cannon.
- Blinded by the Light: His "Lightning Eye" unleashes powerful flashes of light that disorient his target and leave them vulnerable to attack.
- Born Unlucky: Genos has the misfortune of never being able to catch a break. His home was destroyed by a cyborg, his upgrades are never enough, and despite his immense strength, he can't put away powerful enemies.
- Chest Blaster: The Ultra Helix Incineration Cannon, which takes power directly from his chest core, functions as this and his most powerful move short of self-destructing.
- Chick Magnet: Unlike the more plain-looking and Boring, but Practical "Caped Baldy" Saitama, Genos has no problem at all getting female admirers due to his good looks and flashy fighting style.
- Cyborg: Genos is a full-conversion cyborg with almost all of his organic bodyparts having been replaced by modular cybernetics. This has allowed him to continually upgrade himself in the hopes of matching and surpassing Saitama.
- Doomed Hometown: He was only 15 when a rogue cyborg rampaged through his home, killing everyone in it, including his family.
- Endearingly Dorky: He's way too serious about everything, especially when Saitama is involved.
- Good Thing You Can Heal: He was designed to be easily repairable, which means that he'll be back on his feet in no time.
- Hand Blast: He has blasters on his palms.
- Hero-Worshipper: He idolizes Saitama to the point that he feels the need to pay attention to everything he says in the belief that there is some sort of lesson to it and is willing to be his live-in butler.
- Jet Pack: Genos' Anti-Saitama Tactical Arms — built in the hopes of matching Saitama in combat — have shoulder-mounted rocket propulsion units, with boosters and stabilizers on his arms and legs. He can also use his Incineration Cannons as flight stabilizers.
- Leitmotif: "The Cyborg Fights" from One Punch Man.
- Non-Indicative Name: In his outro with Tanjiro, he clarifies that, in spite of his hero name, he isn't actually a demonic cyborg.
- Palette Swap:
- First Version Attire (attire when he first appears)
- 2nd/3rd Version Attire (black sleeveless shirt over a white T-shirt, jeans)
- G4 Upgrade
- 6th Version (Super Fight Arc Upgrade)
- 7th Version (Demon King Arc Attire)
- Pet the Dog: He congrats Popeye on being a Worthy Opponent to Saitama and giving his master the fight he always wanted.
- Playing with Fire: His incineration cannons function as a flame thrower.
- The Rival: To War Machine.
- Sticky Situation: He can fire quick-drying adhesive from his heels to trap foes in place.
- Super-Strength: He was able to launch a Diving Kick powerful enough to knock back the Dragon-class Elder Centipede, who is over 725.16 meters long and 15 meters wide. The amount of force required to do that would be over 15.73 megatons of TNT.
- Super-Toughness: He's able to survive being hit by his own Incineration Cannon, be hit dead on by a speeding train without issue, and take the combined weight of an estimated 15 trillion mosquitoes crushing him at once, which would be over 358,178 tons.
Saitama
Name: Saitama
Age: 25
Race: Human
Title: The One Punch Man
Chosen Voice Actor: Max Mittleman
Stage: City A
Playstyle: Power Punches (Slugger/Reversal)
- Challenge Seeker: Openly seeks to find someone who can match his insane strength to cure his boredom.
- Comically Invincible Hero: Like in his home series, Saitama is considered ridiculously OP. Even Darkseid is considered too easy for him.
- Early-Bird Cameo: He appears in Genos' ending long before his debut as playable.
- Everyone Has Standards:
- Discussed and parodied in his intro quote with Reverse-Flash.
"You torture a guy just so he'll notice you? Even telemarketers wouldn't do something that dumb." - Know When to Fold 'Em: He actually inflicts this on his opponent. His Hold Back is actually not a traditional Fatality, in that he stops inches from them and the mountainside behind them is utterly destroyed. The opponent doesn't fight back after that, the word is even replaced with Surrender to emphasize the point.
- Leitmotif: “Seigi Shikkou” from One Punch Man.
- Megaton Punch: Most of his attacks are simple punches. Those same simple punches can shave off chunks of health or straight up obliterate the opponent in his One Punch Fatality.
- Noodle Incident: It's rather vague, but All Might claims that the Hero Association was founded because of him.
- One-Hit Kill: Downplayed in that his normal punch can take off a great deal of health, which would otherwise make him unbalanced. His Serious Series—Serious Punch Super plays it dead straight but it can only be accessed after he enters his Serious mode.
- Palette Swap:
- Hero Outfit
- "OPPAI" sweatshirt
- Pajamas
- Fitness Speedo
- Charanko Disguise
- Punch-Clock Hero: Openly admits to being a hero for fun. He isn't against doing good for the sake of it though.
- The Rival: To Popeye.
- Shout-Out: His Hold Back "Fatality" has him use a powerful attack to not hit the opponent and destroy a mountain behind them, similar to Dizzy's Emotional Gamma Ray Instant Kill.
- Super Mode: Downplayed. His Getting Serious super has him take the fight a bit more seriously, but it does boost his specials.
- World's Strongest Man: Even with the likes of Superman and Darkseid around, he's still among the strongest in the game.
- Worthy Opponent:
- He considers Popeye this, being the only man to ever defeat him.
- He holds a similar opinion of Superman, calling their fight a good one.

Kirby
Kirby
Name: Kirby
Age: Unknown
Race: Unknown
Title: Star Warrior of Pop Star
Chosen Voice Actor: Makiko Ohmoto
Stage: Dreamland
Playstyle: Copycat Chaos (Composite/All-Rounder)
- Badass Adorable: Kirby is a small, pink, and round creature capable of fighting all manner of apocalyptic threats.
- The Dreaded: Apparently, he (and by extension, the entirety of the Star Warriors) is this to Rick. When fighting him, Rick briefly freaks out and notes that he thought that the Star Warriors went extinct, and after he wins he's thankful that Kirby was still a baby and immediately notes to never visit Kirby's part of the multiverse again.
- Elemental Powers: Kirby's Element Shot allows him to spit one of three elemental attacks at the opponent:
- Playing with Fire: Kirby shoots a single fireball that flies in a straight line and explodes on contact with the opponent.
- An Ice Person: Shoots a short-range spray of ice that can freeze the opponent.
- Shock and Awe: Shoots a thin beam of lightning at the opponent that spans the length of the stage.
- Extreme Omnivore: Kirby can consume just about anything to get powers.
- Fire, Ice, Lightning: His Element Shot as explained above.
- Leitmotif: “Pop Star” from Kirby 64.
- Limit Break: Hypernova Kirby, which can only be used if Kirby's health is in critical condition and requires a full Hyper Meter to use. Kirby eats a Miracle Fruit and will turn a constantly shifting rainbow of colors. He opens his mouth and a powerful vortex pulls in the opponent. Once they're in his mouth, he chews them up a bit, then glows brightly before spitting them out like a cannonball. The damage is almost guaranteed a One-Hit Kill.
- Palette Swap:
- Traditional Appearance
- Monochrome Kirby
- Yarn Kirby
- Prince Fluff
- Yellow Kirby
- Power Copying: Kirby can suck in nearby enemies to copy one attack they know and use it just once against them.
- The Rival: To Majin Buu.
- Stewed Alive: Cook Kirby has Kirby drop-kick the opponent into a huge pot of boiling water, stirring them in the pot while adding spices. Once he's finished, Kirby stands back and the boiling pot ejects a scalded figure that's barely recognizable, and then sticks an apple in their mouth.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Not him, but this is the reaction of Goku and Vegeta upon finding out he defeated Majin Buu. Not just in their intro quotes, but in Kirby's ending too.
King Dedede
Name: Dedede
Age: Unknown
Race: Bird
Title: King of Dreamland
Chosen Voice Actor: Masahiro Sakurai

- Traditional Dedede attire
- Masked Dedede
- Cello Player outfit
- Quick Draw attire
- Wrestler outfit
- The Rival: To Wario.
The Boys
Billy Butcher
Name: William Butcher
Age: Unknown
Race: Human
Title: Leader of The Boys
Chosen Voice Actor: Karl Urban
Stage: The Boys' Base
Playstyle: Brutal Butchery (All-Rounder/Technical)
- '90s Anti-Hero: As a Badass Normal clad in a black trench coat who loves swearing and bloodily butchering Supes, Billy certainly qualifies.
- Badass Normal: He has no powers and is able to be a genuine threat to Supes in canon.
- Black-and-White Insanity: As far as he's concerned, all people with superpowers and/or call themselves heroes are evil and deserve to be murdered. People who want to be heroes aren't exempt from this, as shown by his entrance quote when he goes up against Yang, Weiss, Todoroki, Blake, or Deku:Billy: You want to be a hero, do you? Then you just made a powerful enemy.
- Cape Busters: He leads a team of these and hates heroes of all kinds, regardless of their actual morality.
- Fantastic Racism: After what happened to Becca, he hates all meta-humans.
- Leitmotif: “Butcher” by Christopher Lennertz.
- Palette Swap:
- Standard outfit
- Black tuxedo w/sunglasses
- Robe over pajamas
- Blue and white t-shirt w/jeans
- Comic appearance
- The Rival: To A-Train.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: He swears a lot in his various quotes, mainly dropping F-bombs and calling people the C-word.
- This Is Gonna Suck: His reaction to Galactus and Unicron is to bluntly point out he's likely fucked.
- You Are What You Hate: Yoda warns him that he isn't careful, he'll become no better than Homelander.
A-Train
Name: Reggie Franklin
Age: Likely in his twenties
Race: Supe
Title: Fastest Man in the World
Chosen Voice Actor: Jessie T. Usher
Stage: Underground Subway
Playstyle: Locomotive Power (Speedster>Reversal)
- Addled Addict: He started using Compound V as a performance enhancer, but becomes addicted to it and makes terrible choices trying to fuel his dependency. He later attempts to add Venom to the mix, which just cripples him faster.
- Blue Is Heroic: Invoked with his costume, which is primarily blue, and is a contrast to his rival Shockwave, who has an orange costume.
- Brought to You by the Letter "S": Associated with the letter A. He has an "A" for a belt buckle, one on his shades, and is shaved into part of his haircut.
- But for Me, It Was Tuesday: Deconstructed as him running through Robin has earned the ire of many characters like Tatsumaki and Sanji, who make it clear they don't approve and plan to kick his ass for it.
- Casanova Wannabe: He tries to get with Mai and Samus, but his methods are... questionable at best.
- Cool Shades: Blue protective glasses that have a letter "A" on them.
- Dented Iron: Like canon, his addiction to Compound V has weakened his body. It got worse in his arcade ending, where he incorporated Venom into his body and his body deteriorates further, to the point he is wheelchair bound.
- Downer Ending: In his ending, he loses the ability to walk after mixing Compound V with Venom and has his spot in the Seven taken by another speedster. The narration says it all.
- "His unhealthy life choices had finally caught up to him. Now, life as he knew it was over."
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In his interactions with Wolverine, he admits that he misses his dead ex Popclaw.
- Even Evil Has Standards: He disapproves of Homelander dating Stormfront, as she is a literal Nazi.
- Fastest Thing Alive: He has a reputation as the fastest man alive, and he feels it's the reason why he's in the Seven. Keeping this title is his biggest priority, and eventually destroys his personal life.
- Inferiority Superiority Complex: A-Train is so wrapped up in being the fastest man alive that he's paranoid of any other speedster taking that title and replacing him in the Seven, to the point where he's willing to abuse Compound V to maintain his place. It doesn't help that many of the other speedsters outclass him and mock him for using drugs.
- It's All About Me: It's all about the A-Train in this station.
- Jerkass: The man is a dick through and through. He doesn't bat an eye at killing a civilian.
- Jerk Jock: He's the best runner in the world and he's gained an ego to match it.
- Leitmotif: Race of the Century by Christopher Lennertz.
- Ludicrous Gibs: His intro has him doing this to The Deep by running into him at super speed, turning him into chunky salsa.
- Oh, Crap!: His reaction to facing Omni-Man in his intro has him rattled to find the Viltrumite after what he did to Homelander.
- Palette Swap:
- Hero costume
- Comic book costume
- Red suit
- Silver suit
- Sonic the Hedgehog suit w/his face poking out the front
- Power Degeneration: Like canon, his use of Compound V is weakening his body. In his ending, he adds Venom to the mix and ends up in a wheelchair.
- Professional Buttkisser: To Lex Luthor, who he considers his new boss.
- The Rival: To Butcher.
- Super-Speed: His main power. He also trains and competes with this skill similar to a professional racer.
Queen Maeve
Name: Maggie Shaw
Age: Likely mid- to late-30s
Race: Supe
Title: The Heart of the Seven
Chosen Voice Actor: Dominique McElligott
Stage: Stormy Seaside
Playstyle: The Queen Spars (Rushdown>Defensive)
- Action Girl: Maeve is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant with superhuman strength.
- Broken Bird: She used to be an idealistic hero wanting to make a difference, but her time with the Seven and Vought has ground her hopes and dreams into dust. Now, she's grown cynical and mostly unwilling to fight, only doing so out of obligation, as reflected in quite a bit of her quotes. Even her Friendship is depressing!
- Drowning My Sorrows: After witnessing a video complication meant to make her look more heroic than she actually is, she gets depressed and drinks.
- Lady Legionnaire Wear: Her gear is a combination of Xena's and Wonder Woman (Rebirth)'s costumes.
- Leitmotif: Maeve Spars by Christopher Lennertz.
- Palette Swap:
- Standard costume
- Red blouse w/black skirt
- Comic appearance
- Stormfront's costume
- Swimsuit
- Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Her Trainstopper fatality has her punch her opponent into pieces with her Super-Strength.
- The Rival: To Starlight.
- Strong and Skilled: Maeve is a master martial artist who supplements her technique with superhuman strength.
- Super-Strength: She is the second strongest member of the Seven.
- Super-Toughness: She has the second toughest skin on the team.
- Token Good Teammate: Queen Maeve is shown to be more self-aware about how she, the Seven and other supes are not really heroes, but has just been browbeaten into accepting what is going on. She does often have a more moral reaction to some of the horrible things she sees the others do, and at other times tries to actually be heroic when possible.
- Took a Level in Badass: After she gained a powerup from the Mastermind, she becomes strong enough to defeat Homelander effortlessly.
- Wonder Woman Wannabe: Her design and character are clearly inspired by Wonder Woman. Ironically, she thinks it's the other way around if she meets Wonder Woman.
Starlight
Name: Annie January
Age: Unknown, Mid-Twenties is the best estimate
Race: Supe
Title: Starlight of the Seven
Chosen Voice Actor: Erin Moriarty
Stage: Fair Grounds at Night
Playstyle: Light of Mine (Zoner)
- Blinded by the Light: She can use her Super Moves to do this to her opponent.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Annie's arcade ending starts off with her surprising the public by returning to her home universe with the mastermind in handcuffs. However, the Seven soon appear being led in handcuffs by the Justice League. Superman lets Annie tell the public everything the Seven and Vought have done in a speech.
- Enhanced Punch: The Light Punch. Starlight engulfs her fists in light energy and advances forward as she throws three punches, ending it with a haymaker that launches them to the wall.
- Flight: Starlight is able to fly.
- Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Is the only genuinely heroic member of the Seven, and blonde to boot.
- I Know Karate: She might have a wide range of handy superpowers, but her combat skills are nothing more than effect of intense training, going on since she was a child.
- Leitmotif: Subway Chase by Christopher Lennertz.
- Light 'em Up: Her powers allow her to absorb and then channel light as plasma.
- Light Is Good: She has light powers, wears white clothes and is the Token Good Teammate of The Seven.
- Overshadowed by Awesome: For someone who made fun of The Deep for being a joke (though she had very personal reasons to), Starlight is this to the rest of the Seven. Though, this does not stop her from beating them in this game.
- Her light powers have yet to show damage output that can't be accomplished by a couple of strongmen with a sledgehammer and are reduced to little more than flashbangs against Supe opponents. And while reportedly strong enough to bench rear end of a car, that's nothing compared to some other members of her team. Homelander, Queen Maeve, and Black Noir as shown in the penultimate episode of Season 2 so thoroughly outclass her that she is non-existent in comparison.
- A-Train's combination of Super-Speed and Super-Strength means she is no threat to him.
- Even Lamplighter and Translucent have a bit of this going on. LL may be physically human but can easily match and outdo Annie in damage output with his fire powers, while Translucent is invisible while also being even more durable than Annie, while also being strong enough to lift Hughie over his head before throwing him across the room.
- Coupled with her Weaksauce Weakness of having to be near electronic items to fuel her Light 'em Up abilities, she's at a considerable disadvantage against most other Supes we've seen.
- Palette Swap:
- Original costume
- Vought mandated leotard
- Civilian outfit
- Gold dress
- Nightgown
- The Rival: To Queen Maeve.
- Super-Strength: Like the rest of the Seven, she is far stronger than the average human.
- Super-Toughness: Her skin is extremely durable, able to handle multiple bullets with no injury.
- Token Good Teammate: Being brand new to The Seven, Starlight is not nearly as jaded, apathetic or corrupt as the heroes really are, and she finds herself opposed to just about everything they do.
Homelander
Name: John Gillman
Age: 41
Race: Supe
Title: The World's Greatest Superhero
Chosen Voice Actor: Antony Starr
Stage: Vought Headquarters
Playstyle: Untouchable Hero (Reversal/Zoner)
- Beware the Superman: A sociopathic narcissist who's not afraid of letting things like "excessive force" or "collateral damage" get in his way.
- False Reassurance: He tells the Reds and Blues to stop bickering... cause he's gonna kill them anyway."Boys, boys, no need to fight. You're all gonna die, why argue?"
- A God Am I: He genuinely believes his powers make him a god and superior to everyone else.
- Hated by All: Homelander is treated kindly by pretty much no one on the roster, as while heroes stand against them for his corruption and cruelty (to the point Steven Universe doesn't even try helping him find redemption), most other villains mock him for being a complete and utter man-child. It's telling that the only ones that give him any form of praise are total monsters like Frieza and M. Bison.
- Leitmotif: Translucent Explodes by Christopher Lennertz.
- Meaningless Villain Victory: His ending sees him Take Over the World and gain immense power... but because he revealed his true colours, everyone hates him.
- Palette Swap:
- Standard Hero Costume
- Comics Costume
- Baseball Uniform
- Classic Comics Costume
- Black Noir's Costume
- Politically Incorrect Villain: He is condescending to normal humans, insults Toph and Daredevil for being blind, mocks Might Guy for being handicapped, and insults All-Might for wearing American colors when he's Japanese.
- The Rival: To Omni-Man.
- Smug Super: Should be the poster boy for this trope. The quotes for intros and outros reek of this.
- Villain Has a Point: Admittedly, he is right when he says it's easier to believe in Superman's ideals when you had a happy childhood. A fair amount of evil Supermen turn out the way they do because they lacked the happy home life Superman had.

- Hypocritical Humor: She berates Ryuko and Mai for wearing revealing clothes, yet she is basically nude.
- Idol Singer: Her career is noted to have received a huge boost after defeating the Mastermind in her ending.
- Innocent Fanservice Girl: She really doesn't get how scandalous her not wearing clothes is, expressing confusion when she gets in trouble for public indecency.
