Vegeta
Name: Vegeta
Age: 55
Race: Saiyan
Title: Prince of the Saiyans
Chosen Voice Actor: Chris Sabat/Nick Landis
Stage: Wasteland
Playstyle: Saiyan Elite (Rushdown/Install)
- And Then What?: In his ending, Vegeta manages to become even stronger to the point that no one can even challenge him. Needless to say, this bores the Prince.
- Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: The KING of this trope. Vegeta is confident in his own power and is sure to rub it in his opponent's faces.
- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: If he defeats Beerus, instead of bragging about finally beating the god, he instead states that it was for Beerus hurting his wife, Bulma. The same goes for when he beats Silver, who defeated Trunks, Vegeta's son.
- Blood Knight: As the Prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta makes it clear he loves to fight in his intro dialogues.
- Composite Character: He has two voice actors, Christopher Sabat or Lanipator. The former being his official English VA, and the latter being his voice for the abridged series. Hypothetically speaking of course.
- Golden Super Mode: His Super Saiyan form that includes his final explosion move, which is an almost guaranteed One-Hit Kill.
- Good Parents: His friendship involves playing a game of catch with his son, Trunks. Who threw the ball just as Vegeta blows his opponent to smithereens.
- Home Stage: The Gizard Wasteland, where Vegeta would clash with Goku in the Saiyan Story Arc of Dragon Ball Z.
- Kamehame Hadoken: His Galick Gun attack is this.
- Leitmotif: Vegeta's Theme by Bruce Falcouner.
- Older Than They Look: Is five years shy from being 60, but being a Saiyan makes him age slower than humans.
- Palette Swap:
- Saiyan Armor (Cell Saga)
- Majin Vegeta
- Xeno Vegeta
- Pink Shirt Vegeta
- GT Vegeta
- Papa Wolf: He's incredibly enraged to learn Silver killed his son."You...killed my son... I WILL SEE YOU PAY FOR THAT, RAT!!!"
- Proud Warrior Race Guy: Is he ever.
- Real Men Wear Pink: His pink jacket look is a clothing option.
- The Rival: To Shadow and Thor.
- Smug Smiler: Is prone to letting out a sadistic grin whenever he has the upper hand.
- Smug Super: Vegeta often looks down on those he feels are weak. Especially against Shadow in their battle cutscene finding the Ultimate Lifeform to be less than nothing.
- Sphere of Destruction: His Big Bang Attack is one of these.
- Stock Shōnen Rival: One of the Trope Codifiers. Vegeta's desire to surpass Goku is a defining part of his character. This extends itself to Superman as well considering how Supes managed to beat Goku three times.
- Warrior Prince: He IS the warrior prince of the Saiyans.
- You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: His reaction to learning Kirby beat Majin Buu.

- Blood Knight: Not as violent as Vegeta, but as a Saiyan, Goku practically lives for a good scrap.

- In fact, like Vegeta, he is listed with two VA's his official English VA or his abridged VA.
- Enhanced Punch: His super Saiyan mode allows him to do his dragon fist attack. The attack cannot be blocked.
- Fearless Fool: He shows no fear, even when facing a monster like Doomsday or Darkseid.
- Flying on a Cloud: His intro details Goku arriving on his flying nimbus cloud.
- Golden Super Mode: He practically codified this trope being the first Super Saiyan in the manga.
- Henpecked Husband: He brings up his wife, Chi-Chi, in one of his default intros and how she will be unhappy because he is fighting.
- Home Stage: The Namekian Plains, likely as a reference to the famous Namek Story Arc in Dragon Ball Z, where Goku would first become a Super Saiyan and have his famous fight against Frieza.
- Kamehame Hadoken: One-half of the trope codifiers, his Kamehameha is in this game. His Super Saiyan transformation has one as well. Both of his fatalities have Goku vaporize the opponent with a Kamehameha Wave.

- Sphere of Destruction: His Spirit Bomb technique acts as this, inflicting heavy damage on the opponent if they can't block in time. Avoiding it requires the opponent to go to the furthest corners of the stage.
- Teleportation: Can use his Instant Transmission to appear behind or above his opponent.
- Torso with a View: The Final Dragon Fatality has Goku punch through the opponent's abdomen, then retract it before finishing them off with a Kamehameha Wave.
- Worthy Opponent: Regards Beerus and Superman as this.

Buu then reshapes his body around the opponent before belching out their skeleton, which still bears chunks of flesh clinging to them.
- Transformation Ray: Majin Buu's Transfiguration Beam allows him to turn his targets into an object of choice, usually food.

- His Friendship scene has him turn the stage into a land of candy similar to the Chocolate Room in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
- His Rival cutscene has him turn Goombas, Koopas, and two other combatants into candy.
- One of his Fatalities has Buu turn his opponent into a chocolate figurine he takes bites out of before turning them back, leaving them as a mutilated corpse with the appropriate missing body parts and bleeding bite wounds.
