    Main Campaign

Chapter 4: Phantasmal Carenthus

  • Bloss's first encounter with Sigillaria, not looking where she was going and bumping into her — cue The Pratfall. And in a moment of concern for the girl's buttock, Bloss asks to see Sigillaria's rear, with the latter naturally reacting with shock and outrage at the question.
    • Upon chasing after what she initially assumed to be Sage Dyne, addresses herself as a World Flower, with Sigi getting a headache.
Sigillaria: Saying that... Hurts, could you please stop...
Bloss: It hurts? You're hurt...? Ah! So your butt really does hurt!? A pain that sets in afterwards!?
Sigillaria: Stop talking about my ass!!
    • In an attempt to prove that she's the World Flower, Bloss gestures to her horns as a sign that she's not human, asking the clerk to touch them. Sigillaria declines doing so under the belief that it's an erogenous zone that she shouldn't touch, sparking further curiosity from Bloss.
    • Their next inevitable meetup at the Winter Rose castle has Bloss address her in what she knows about her.
      Bloss: Ah! Butt lady!
Sigillaria: Geh, this morning's sparkling monster!? Why are you...
      Nazuna: B-butt? Monster?
  • When Sigillaria meets face to face with the corpse of her ancestor, she remarks in a mournful tone about his unfortunate fate... which is soon followed by her angrily yelling at Dyne for their method of informing his ancestors about his death.
Sigillaria: Aah... He's here. My pitiful ancestor... You've been alone here all this time... Nobody to mourn you, nobody to find you... This is why you don't tell your children and grandchildren about it through an actual nightmare!!! —Uu, fuu. I feel better now...
  • After packing her things for her trek away from home, she shares a heartfelt exchange with Hi-chan in a Heterosexual Life-Partner manner, but the moment Shi-chan calls the two of them the "spinsternote  alliance", Hii-chan lets out a confused "eh?", and promptly shattering Shi-chan's view of her:
    Hii-chan: ... I have a boyfriend though...
Sigillaria: [long pause] Huh? T-t-t... TRAITOR!!!
    • While evidently parting on bad terms as a result, Hii-chan meets up with Sigillaria to apologize for the negative goodbye, with the resulting exchanges of sorrys and exchanges of the heart being laced with a truck-ton of melodramatic emotions.
Hii-chan: I love you too, Shii-chan!! Breaking up was a lie! Hating you was a lie!!
      Sigillaria: The boyfriend too!?
      Hii-chan: He's real!!
Sigillaria: Shiiiiit!! I wish you happineeeeeeeess!!
  • Apple's first meeting of Khepri goes as expected of the former, immediately fawning over the exotic-looking girl, though she relatively keeps it together while overseeing her recovery... up until she witnesses their "beautiful smile" — cue the nosebleed, along with a startled Khepri.
    • This exchange upon Khepri speaking of her lost "Onei-chan":
Apple: O-o-o-onei-chan—!!? There were a pair of beautiful sisters—!!?
Fir Tree: Apple-chan, I need to replace the stuffing in your nose.
  • The above gag about Sigillaria's rump returns yet again, after she lands on the Outer Garden soil in Mission 7:
Bloss: Sigillaria-chan always falls over... But she has a lot of meat on her butt, so it doesn't hurt her at all.
Win: ... I see? I didn't think of that... Instead of eliminating any shortcomings, she has specialized it into an advantage. That's a very advanced survival strategy. You're amazing, Shii-chan.
Sigillaria: Would you stop evaluating everyone's asses without permission?

    Event Missions
Event 197: A Detective's Summer, A Pirate's Treasure
  • The treasure hunt adventure kicks off with Streptocarpus willingly joining up with Nightshade on the latter's search for treasure, with her rationalization being to have a mystery to solve... and she's evidently desperate.
Streptocarpus: Why, you ask? Because I'm a detective. A detective's life is meaningless without any mysteries. So I can't live without a mystery. [...] So, pass over the mystery!! I'm so bored I could die!! Like a detective!!
Nightshade: Ku... What's with this strange energy...! It's like a starving wolf...
  • When asked about her aversion to the heat Carpus makes note that she takes extra measures to deal with the heat:
Streptocarpus: If I couldn't investigate due to the heat, then I wouldn't be a great detective. Stopping in the shade, a hat, something to drink, also Barberry...
Japanese Barberry: Don't treat people like first aid kits.
  • Nightshade asking Carpus how they deciphered the map prompts an "Ah..." from Japanese Barberry, who then replies to Nightshade that it's already too late. Cue Streptocarpus starting a lengthy talk about her thought process behind the deciphering phase, with Nightshade quickly catching on with her own "Ah...", and the resulting speech putting Larkspur, Convolvulus, and Solidago fast to sleep.
    • After the lengthy Carpus speech is done and over with, Nightshade asks the other awake two how they are faring after the fact.
Japanese Barberry: I'm used to it by now.
Garden Croton: I've been fantasizing about "substituting characters" and "connecting the parts" all this time, so I'm fired up~♪
Nightshade: ...Again, it's my bad for asking.
    • When Carpus shares her plan to deal with a group of rouge pirates, Nightshade briefly wonders if it involves "more hypnosis".
  • Nightshade, having experienced a pest dragging her into the depths of the ocean and subsequently, wakes up to Carpus giving her the Kiss of Life... and freaking out at the Great Detective having their mouth pressed against the Phantom Thief's own.
Nightshade: Youuuuu!! What are you doing to meeeee!!?
Streptocarpus: Wha...? Giving you air, it's mouth to mouth...
    Larkspur: Were you kissing her-pa!?
Nightshade: It wasn't a kiss!! Don't call it that!!
Streptocarpus: Then there's no problems, right? Didn't you go out with a water bottle instead of an umbrella on a rainy day once?
Nightshade: It's not a probl... Hm? What's with that example!?
  • After the inciting incident comes to a close and the pirate group turning over a new leaf, Garden Croton tries to get her hands on the witch's treasure — and in the process of opening the pouch, gets hit with a burst of wasabi powder, getting put into a sneezing fit. Not only that, her attitude takes a shift to becoming a Reluctant Fanservice Girl, revealing that this was the effect of the witch's curse she was talking about, which is topped off by why she got this kind of curse:
Garden Croton: That's... Uuu... I messed around with the witch's lover, and faced her wrath...
Nightshade: You're completely self serving, you meathead!

    Sub-Story Missions

Aqua Shadow

  • Chapter 11 is rather wacky in comparison to the story events before and after. For starters, it opens on the three Pansy sisters dressed in banana outfits for a dance competition, on what was initially intended to be just a vacation trip. And then their Aqua Shadows spawn in, wearing the exact same thing. But what's most ridiculous? To defuse a fight that they're instigating, Casablanca promptly invites them to the aforementioned dance competition to prove themselves as the real deal, a challenge of which the Aqua Shadows accept without question.

Side Story

Frosty Little Thorn
  • Win's first meeting with Sigillaria doesn't go according to plan, owing to the fact that she's just a mere puffball by this point, and Shi-chan shrugs them off as not actually being there. Upon trying to convince Shi-chan of being real, the latter proceeds to pick them up and toss them into the nearest trash can, along with casting some sealing magic to ensure they don't immediately escape, to Win's vocal protests.
  • As part of Win's plan to obtain a human form, she seeks aid in Sigillaria's assistant, Hi-chan. While receptive to Hi-chan's proposal of being considered her pet for the sake of Hiding in Plain Sight, Win doesn't approve of being handled like one.
Win: ...If you touch me in any kind of strange way, I'll bite you.
Hi-chan: Please just make it a nibble... Ah, but, if you bite me earnestly just once...
    Win: ......
  • Win's puffball form naturally draws children to her like moth to a light, first with her arrival in her region, then later with Hi-chan — with her unable to flee without further drawing attention to themselves. Hi-chan is quick to call Win her pet rabbit to get the children off of them, but after the kids insist with playing with them just a little while longer...
Hi-chan: ...Just for a little while, OK?
    Win: Myuu!?
    Children: Ya-ay!!
"After that, I was petted by Hi-chan and the children until the sun went down... Is this also what it means to be human... Or maybe not?"
  • Hi-chan first exchange with Win after a few days have passed of their development, along with Win's deadpan response.
    Hi-chan" I'm sorry, Myu-sama, but haven't you gotten a little chubby?
Win: ...With respect to your choice of words that don't rely on the simple use of calling me "fat", I'll give you a serious answer...

A God Emerging from the Fires of Confusion

  • With Nighogg talking with Midgardsormr in the third chapter, we get insight to what the latter's like: a sneaky smart-ass who got a bit of an ego. And much of his casual dialogue contrasts with Nidhogg's to-the-point remarks, plus the occasional silent treatment aided by an intimidating glare.
Nidhogg: Anyway, why did you come here? You didn't come here... just to talk, did you?
Midgardsormr: [You don't like it? That I came to chat?]
    Nidhogg: ......
Midgardsormr: [Really really! You don't have to stare at me like that.]
  • With the Great Spirit Centy introducing themselves to Nidhogg, they're flanked by two Petite Centies, who provide a comedic contrast to the dead seriousness of their leader.
    • Furthermore, Nidhogg's Inner Monologue has her detail what they know about Centy... but end up drawing a complete blank as to what the Petite Centies even are, with her remark of "I have no idea" garnering shocked reactions from them even though they shouldn't be able to hear her.
    • This exchange after Centy talks with Nidhogg for a brief moment, the Petites taking away from Nidhogg's response as Centy having no luck with girls.
Petite Centy 1: [Uwa. Our master really isn't very popular.]
Petite Centy 2: [So if you approach girls like that, then they'll hate you straight away?]
      Centy: ......
    • The Petite Centies commentary about the Great Spirit's intentions sound like they're calling them a Tsundere in all but name:
Petite Centy 1: [They're really good at hiding it on the surface though. But deep in their heart, they're cheering for everyone.]
Petite Great Spirit 2: [They're the type who never compliments someone in person or admits anything! They're not straightforward at all!]
  • Just the idea of Nidhogg, who by origin is a large Creepy Centipede of Hellfire and darkness, calling Win small and cute, even in Inner Monologue. Win is quick to sense being considered small, and shortly after remarks that Nidhogg's human form is rather big. An odd exchange between Physical Gods, to be sure.

Sallow Crawler of the Canyon

  • Belle's meeting with Meconopsis eventually leads to the latter asking about the World Flower Root Arka, with the latter suddenly barraging her with various related questions nonstop.
Belle: (This pressure is like Sun-hun... No, more like Bloss-hun... No, both of them! This kid's a combination of both of them! This is gonna be a big deal...!!)
  • After Belle makes some progress in her puffball form becoming bigger, she reports back to the other World Flower spirits, with Sun arriving on the scene from above — with her proclaiming that she's gotten her human form, diving into the scene... except she's a Forge Spirit as she tries to pass it (a chibi humanoid) as her human form. The other spirits call it quits with the meeting after this reveal, with Sun trying convince them to no avail.
    Lilli: ...Dismissed.
Belle: Well, see y'all next year.
    • The gag continues with the follow up meeting, with her taking the form of a Bloom Bird.
Sun: Is this any different!? Is this not a person too!?
Len: Sun-chan, you're getting further and further away... People don't usually use wings to fly...
Belle: Sun-hun's just the same as ever. What're ya gonna turn into next? A cat? A turtle?
Sun: Mumumu... I'll show you! I'll definitely become a person before you, Belle!
Belle: Ahaha. You're makin' as much noise as a bird flappin' it's wings, so I can't understand a single word.
    Sun: Mumumuu~~~~~!!

The Sealed Ancient Flower Knights

  • During the "Beloved Neighbors" cutscene of the "Blue Paradise's Zealot" mission, Delphinium and Ranunculus are caring for the residence of the orphanage, playing the "eeny meeny miney moe" bit with the kids. Dusty Miller snarks at the scenario before her:
Dusty Miller: ...I thought they had come here to take care of the children, but for some reason the number of children is increasing...
  • After delivering the otherwise tragic story behind the long dead Zinnia and Common Zinnia's method of coping with the loss, the Petite Centy is more concerned with how they delivered said story while being ignorant of Common Zinnia's mental breakdown.
Petite Centy: [What a relief. I remembered it all to the very end. I managed to do it like my master.]
Nicotiana: What a great hobby you have, as expected from a Great Spirit. Taking pleasure in watching people suffer.
  • The Ancient Flower Knight's first group interaction involves Japanese Honeysuckle asking if they should try to kill each-other, with the rest of the Knights — including the otherwise peaceful ones — being on board with the idea, to Nazuna's shock and exasperation. And this is right after Nazuna says there's nothing to worry about.
Nazuna: We overcame the trials by working together with everyone. There's nothing special to look out for or worry about!
Japanese Honeysuckle: Hey... Should us five try to kill each other?
Nazuna: Then suddenly a terrible bomb goes off!!?
    • Corbett seems to be the only Ancient Knight trying not on board with the idea... only to then proclaim that she'll use her full power to suppress the others if ordered to, which naturally makes Nazuna remark how dangerous of an idea that is.
    • Of course, the whole thing is actually just a morbid joke in an attempt to put the group at ease, with nobody actually taking the whole thing seriously... except Japanese Honeysuckle.
  • After the battle with the Great Spirit, with the Commander, Nazuna, Pothos and Corbett in the office with no clear goal afterwards, Corbett's brings up the topic of the pink puffball spirit that spoke with Great Spirit. Of the two topics acknowledging said spirit, choosing "Unyu unyu?" result in Pothos getting sidetracked by Corbett saying "Unyu Unyu", having them repeat that phrase to her Squee-ish delight until the topic is refocused on the more important matter.
Corbett: Yes, the child that was saying unyu unyu.
Pothos: Ah! ... Corbett-san, could you say that one more time?
Corbett: ...? The one that said unyu unyu...
    Pothos: Just that last part!
    Corbett: ... Unyu unyu?
Pothos: Yes, she said it! Thaaank you sooo much♪
Nazuna: What are you making her do...?
Corbett: Ah, um...Can we get back on topic?

    Other Events/Missions
The "Phantom Thief" Nightshade Appears??
  • The entire April Fools event where various Flower Knights had their belongings stolen, which is implied to be because of Nightshade (later revealed to not be the case). Special mention goes to certain stolen items:
    • As a Call-Back to one Yonkoma, the requirement for finding the "Ultimate Spice" is to find a tree which appears on the Character Management screen, with Larkspur getting flushed out of there upon clicking it, crying out in panic.
    • Japanese Glory Bower's stolen item is a "Health Bringing Potion", a vase bottle with comical flexing muscle arms protruding from the top half. As for why she owns that, she apparently got duped into buying it.
Japanese Glory Bower: I bought a health bringing potion from a dubious merchant... It was super expensive... God is going to be angry...
    • The fact that the thief was ballsy enough to steal from Veronica, something that she herself lampshades in her request to find her "Noisemakers".
    • One of the stolen items is "Danchou's 0000", a jar of... something. The contents of the jar is censored by pixelation, though the fact that Streptocarpus remarks of a stench in her hint of finding it, along with the fact that it belongs to Lavender, one can easily guess exactly what's in there.
  • After all is said and done with every stolen item accounted for, Nightshade has their mask returned, with her evidently being very grateful towards Streptocarpus... only to go full Tsundere as she readjusts her villainous persona:
Nightshade: That's really great! Now that means I don't need to be chased around by everyone...! Carpus, thank you very... [Beat] You really thought I'd say thank you so easily!! This case is... Well, I'm grateful! But the next time we meet, we'll once again be enemies! Don't you ever dare to forget that!

New Slug-san FINAL WARS ~All the salt and mysteries dissolved~

  • The plot of this April Fools event is that the all-powerful "Slug-san" has returned, with Rosemary developing a powerful anti-slug weapon fight them: Sodium Chloride; ie, just regular salt. However, a mysterious figure had stolen the salt — the resulting silhouette implies that Slug Nazuna from a prior April Fools event is responsible — and the player needs to get it back to defeat Slug-san.
  • The slug boss fought in the event is impossible to take down head-on even with the strongest team composition due to its Total Party Kill attacks. But once all the salt is gathered and the Solar Drive is use, Nazuna, mimicking Salt Bae, gets summoned to sprinkle the salt and one-shot the boss.

Halloween Hazards

  • Cardamine Lyrata serves as the opponent of Stage 2, with her motive being to fulfill her ideals of returning Silk Tree to her throne... and subsequently create a unit full of beautiful young boys — her own utopia of male admirers under Silk Tree's rule. Hyakryo is naturally taken aback by Cardamine's goal and switch in personality, even wondering if this is what she was like in her possessed state.
Hyakryo: Uh, wow... what a stupid desire...! [...] Perhaps... I was like that too? Ugh, I'm getting a little embarrassed.
    • Even after getting freed of their possession, Cardamine Lyrata still seems to regard that goal as "The sweetest, most ideal world", prompting Hyakryo to suggest calling somebody from Lotus Lake to deal with her.
  • The third opponent, rather than a Flower Knight like the others, is a group of the puffball spirits, who manage to incapacitate Hyakryo just because she cuddled too much. And for their fight against the Commander, they form a pyramid tower together, collectively known as the "Colorful Furball Tower".
  • Fourth opponent is Bunny Cactus, who's spreading her belief in bunny ear superiority to the gathering group before her, immediately cluing Hyakryo in that she's possessed... until the Commander informs them that no, that's just Cactus Bunny's shtick.
  • The fifth opponent is Ionosipidium, and like with Bunny Cactus, they appear to have their obsession exaggerated to a dangerous degree. And just when Kyakryo remarks that they seemed to have returned to normal, the Love Freak naturally starts her spiel with calling Halloween love.
Hyakryo: ...This person, like Bunny Cactus, seems to have been behaving as normally as before.
  • The final stage has Hyakryo and the Commander find out the cause behind the incident, encountering a vampire moth-type pest holding a magical artifact. And just as soon as Hyakryo puts the pieces together of that being the culprit behind the unsettling atmosphere of the festival, along with the indication that a battle is about to happen, the pest gets wiped out by what is the true last opponent of the minigame: the foreshadowed "strange-looking sister", Veronica, who claims the "Halloween♥Hazard" to... well, some very nefarious and disturbing things pertaining to her twisted desires, we guess. Not much to share, since much of her text is censored out by black boxes, with one Wall of Text consisting of nothing but that.

    Others/Unsorted
  • The Flower Memory "Your very own pâtissier" features Wheat making a well-crafted strawberry cheesecake... and in the background, we see Ranunculus not having as much luck with her cooking, her station having a plume of smoke rising as she exasperatingly throws up her spatulas and the blackened remains of her food, all the while Azuki Bean tries to comfort her.

    Flower Knight 4-koma
A series of Yonkomas posted on the official FKG Twitter / X account. For the unofficial fan-made translations, see here.
  • The first comic, "Mission start!", showcases Nazuna preparing her appearance for the day, with Turnip Rape stopping Nazuna from declaring themselves ready due to their unbuttoned half of her coat showing their panties. In spite of the flustered protests, Nazuna herself doesn't quite see the issue, pulling her coat further up instead of buttoning up, much to Turnip's exasperation.
  • #3 "Competitive spirit": During their tea party, Turnip Rape notes the remaining slice of cake, with Great Burnet proposing a Rock–Paper–Scissors to decide which of the three (including Saint Paulia) should have it. Cue Turnip's titular competitive spirit kicking into overdrive with her preemptively declaring, with much gusto, that she's absolutely not losing. The others immediately back away several feet to let her have the cake.
Saint Paulia: If you want to eat cake that much, I'll concede, you know~
    Great Burnet: Mokō too...
Turnip Rape: It's not... It's not like that!
  • #9 "Destined person": Silver Orchid's hopes of finding their "destined one", wondering how to do so. Saint Paulia on cue informs them of the Toast of Tardiness trope, saying she might bump into them on the corner of a street with bread in their mouth. Silver Orchid proceeds to do so with "all her heart", barreling down the street with several bread slices in her mouth along with a whole loaf in one hand, all the while sporting an intimidatingly determined look with a red glint in her eye. To say nothing of Turnip Rape and Strawberry's possible fate at the mercy of the oncoming human train.
  • #19 "Bleeding Heart's pillow" reveals that Bleeding Heart keeps a life-sized stuffed toy of Asian Bleeding Heart, and displays over-the-top affection towards her "sister" that's uncharacteristic of her otherwise calm and collected demeanor.
  • #20 "Teacher Lobelia": Cowslip ends up garnering a nasty look from Lobelia for indiscriminately tossing a mushroom at their head. While appropriately fearful at Lobelia potentially punishing her, that's not what happens — instead criticizing Cowslip for their lacking performance in pelting her with a mushroom, quickly pulling a blackboard out of Hammerspace to illustrate how it should be done. What truly makes this is the contents of the chalkboard illustrations: "Bad..." having Lobelia make a disappointed shrug at being hit, and "Happy!!!" showing a cheerful Lobelia throwing a double V-Sign at getting knocked back.
  • #22 "Number one": The topic of Cattleya becoming number one of the Shining Radiance festival spurs Dancing Lady Orchid into suggesting other festivals for Cattleya to compete in:
Dancing Lady Orchid: They have something called the Beautiful Boobs festival! Fits Cattleya really well, right!!
    Cattleya: Haah!?
Cymbidium: I'd recommend the Glasses festival.
    Cattleya: Et tu, Cymbidium!?
  • #23 "Anemone, will believe": Anemone taking up Casablanca's offer of wearing different clothes for the idol concert ends in her dressed in a large banana suit meant for the back dancers. Even better, despite this being a blunder on Casablanca's behalf, its implied Anemone continues the concert in the ensemble anyways, kicking off the Running Gag involving the suit.
  • #25 "It's a present!": Water Hyssop gifts Rabbit-ear Iris the Banana Ocean "idol costume", which is the same banana outfit Anemone wore in a prior comic. The scene of both girls wearing the banana suits ended up catching on with the onlookers of Lotus Lake, with Lotus discovering the aftermath of the suit becoming a staple outfit of her nation.
    Lotus: What is all this!?
  • #32 "Radish's admiration": Radish greatly admires Nazuna, to the extent that she imitates a lot of their hobbies, even confessing that she wants to cut her skirt in a Showgirl Skirt fashion like the latter.
Nazuna: (thinking) I wonder if I should stop her here...
  • #36 "The voice of a case?": With her ability to listen in on voices of a crime scene, Strepocarpus hears what sounds like the cries of help. When said voice wishes for them to revere and sing praises of Nightshade, along with accidentally including their Verbal Tic (Pa), Carpus quickly discovers the voice belonged to Larkspur hiding in a tree. Smash Cut to Streptocarpus and Japanese Barberry shaking the tree Larkspurs occupies while she cries out in panic. Even better, this moment is immortalized in the base game with one Flower Memory of the final panel.
  • #39 "The princess and the squirrel": Daisy attempts to recreate "the story with the pumpkin carriage" by being the squirrel that turns into the horse that brings the princess (Dragon Fruit) to the ball. Though, because there's no magic to turn her into an actual horse, this results in her struggle of carrying the weight of Dragon Fruit at a snail's pace. Not to mention the story error noted by Dragon Fruit:
Dragon Fruit: I seem to recall that in that fairy tale it was the mouse that turned into a horse... ...Well, whatever...
  • #44 "A little sister to be proud of": Turnip mentions great praise of her sister, Radish, with Skullcap hoping for her young siblings to be like Radish. Cue Radish on the scene, and making good on her promise in "Radish's admiration" by sporting an exposed panty dress as she meets up with their sister. Skullcap quickly reconsiders her opinion.
  • #50 "Thinking that curry's fine": Dusty Miller buys a can of "Sweet Curry" to subsequently share with Saffron, the latter noting that none of them have a can opener to eat it right away. Cue Dusty Miller's solution: casting her skill attack "Master's Holy Instrument - Light Sword of the Bright Star"; ie, over a dozen or so holy swords striking from above, several stabbing the single can.
  • #51 "Blade test": Flamingo Plant wishes to test her new Christmas themed sword on something, with Dusty Miller offering a bread loaf to turn into slices. Flamingo Plant enthusiastically does the deed, but goes overboard in her efforts, turning the loaf into a pile of grains, to Dusty Miller's exasperation.
Flamingo Plant: Here you go! Your slices!
Dusty Miller: More like rice at this point!
  • #53 "Showdown! Rose and Amaryllis": Both of the titular characters challenge each-other to a cook-off in making cream pasta. While Amaryllis slowly but surely gets her dish made, Rose, ever The Perfectionist, doesn't settle for merely average water from the water way, instead spending the time it took the former to complete her dish plotting a trip to Lotus Lake for its high-quality water, of which she'll take two days to merely get there, her absence leaving behind a confused Amaryllis.
  • #60 "New year's dream": While it is harder for the English speakers who'll likely not know of the new year folk beliefExplanation to know the full joke, the sheer randomness of Streptocarpus's dream, with Japanese Barberry and Larkspur dressed as a mountain and a bird respectively, along with Nightshade closing off the dream as Carpus experiences a Catapult Nightmare can still be entertaining to a degree.
  • #65 "Pound the wall": Peperomia, wondering how to convey her feelings to her darling, gets advice from Stock that the wall pound (ie, the "kabe don") is a popular method nowadays. Unfortunately, she didn't quite get the exact definition of the wall pound Stock mentions, resulting in her literal attempts at pounding the nearest wall with her spear, causing cracks forming in the walls outside the building and smoke spewing out the window, the last panel being viewed from Lion's Ear's perspective as she hears out-of-context screams.
    Peperomia: Wall—pound! [pounding the wall]
    Stock: WAAAAH, Peperomia!? That's wro...
    Peperomia: Darling, I love you!
    Stock: WAAAAH!!
  • #79 "The time has come! Decisive battle against Nidhoggr": The trek into Nidhoggr's abode plays out... differently, than it does in-game. Red Spider Lily notes that the Lethal Lava Land atmosphere makes it possible to easily fry meat, with the group (including Liverwort, who initially tried to play the sane role to everyone else) having an impromptu picnic, to the impatience of the Pests observing them.
  • #130 "The other side of a VTuber's debut": Osanai Nazuna prepares for her Virtual Youtuber debut, all in the same manner as her big sister in the first comic... though, instead of having her coat unbuttoned below her underside like Nazuna, she's one step beyond that — her panties left neglected in the last panel.
  • #134 "How babies are born": Elm shares with Lithops the tale of babies originating from the leaves of a cabbage, and as they overlook a patch of cabbages, Lithops's baby animal companions start chomping on the veggies, to Alm's shock and trauma.
  • #145 "Disciple's duty": As a continuation of "The voice of a case?", Larkspur recruits Kitsune no Botan into spreading the word of worshiping Nightshade. While the fox girl's whispers initially seemed to influence Strepocarpus, she evidently still remembered the prior comic, angrily declaring to not be fooled twice by swiftly flinging her hat at Larkspur's face.
  • #153 "Habit of budgies": Saint Paulia asks to bite at Turnip Rape with her Budgie beak, to which the latter reluctantly humors. What follows is Silver Orchid walking in on the two and the view the scene before her (because of Saint Paulia's hoodie blocking the view of her and Turnip Rape's mouth) made it seem like they were kissing.
  • #155 "Pillow fight": The comic is a showcase of Aizoon Stonecrop being far too serious for her own good when it comes to activities like pillow fights, as indicated by them slashing apart an incoming pillow tossed by Sensitive Plant, to the latter's shock.
