Well, regarding post #2459, @ ~Morgenthaler, I suppose an entry for ''Generic Internet photoshopped images" or something like that could be made for those images (until a better source is found) under ImageSource.Internet under Websites. There's already a generic "Clipart" entry under Websites, so there is sort of a precedent.

Also:

UsefulNotes.The Presidents is (of course) the presidential seal. Last time I checked it wasn't on Image Source, but I can't find a place for stuff like that.

I've noticed that logos (The Gay '90s, The Man in the Moon, the collage for Iconic Logo) and packaging (Made from Real Girl Scouts, Mana Potion, Mascot Mook) are awkwardly parked in Advertising, which makes some sense but I feel it's inadequate.

Edit: Crazy-Prepared is this wall display. The closet thing we have is Toys, but that doesn't seem quite right.

Tineye reveals the source image for Alien Lunch to be this be we don't know who photoshopped it. In fact, Tineye finds nothing besides the image I linked and the Alien Lunch page on This Very Wiki.

Mouse Trap got a nice new pic, except I can't find its origin.

It looks like something out of Stuart Little but not sure.

There's no mention of a "Mission: Impossible" Cable Drop on the Stuart Little page, so I'd say it's doubtful.

I've added some images that were discussed upthread but for which no source was found to the list.

Regarding Invertebrate Index: Was briefly mentioned a while upthread (more than a year ago, in fact). At first glance, it looks like either clipart or an illustration from a textbook. Tineye got me as far as this page on a natural history museum website, which looks like the source (supported by the fact that credit wasn't given, it looks like an original image from that site, and that Tineye found nothing else that looked like a source). I've added it to Image Source.

Also, Flat World - looks like an old map. Has been used a lot on the net without attribution. Tineye finds it on a few stock photography sites, including this one. I can't tell if it's an original image from that site or an old map that someone scanned and put on the site. (Of course, it it's the former, it'd be an insta-pull as a stock image).

The second picture on Eagleland had been changed recently. I can't find its origin, it's stored on plenty sites as an example of stereotype.

Same thing for the new pic on Human Subspecies.

Earned Stripes looks like a Wikipedia-type diagram, or it could have been lifted straight from a US military page (in which case it's open-source). Diagram-type images don't seem to have their own category at Image Source.

The Eagleland image seems to be from this source.

The source for the image is mentioned in the examples, it's the 2012 Three Stooges movie. I added a link to the pic.

I added the rest of the images in #2459 to the unsourced list since none of us were able to find them.

Here's a new list of pics needing sources.

• Earn Your Fun: Been reposted as a meme several times, but no idea who the original author is.
• Japanese Spirit: Same as above; though the artist's name is indicated, it just take you to other people with that nick.
• Antimagical Faction: Which game is this? WoW?
• Tropesaurus Index: Is this concept art for something, or did someone on the internet just make it?
• Nerd Action Hero: Anyone know who these guys are? They're not in the example list, and GIS isn't yielding much.
• Hospital Gurney Scene: This looks far too staged to be real life. It's probably either from some Medical Drama or a commercial.
• Extra! Extra! Read All About It!: I actually suspect this to be a copyrighted stock image. An artist named Paul Gilligan has done some really similar images◊, but this one at least isn't listed in his portfolio, so dunno.
• Sole Surviving Scientist: Another one for the "random internet" pile.
• Blood Oath: Videogame? Art?
• Augmented Reality: Seems like something cracked would put together.
• Voodoo Doll: Messaged the troper who added it, but they couldn't remember. There's something in the corner there, but it's completely illegible.
• Doting Grandparent: Non-attributed cartoon.

If it's a copyrighted stock image, it very well could be a problem...we might be better off finding a pic from a work.

Should be pretty easy to find.
