Porsche Pachara Kittisawat

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/porche_4.jpg
"My life is my own"

Portrayed by: Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat

Porsche is one of the main protagonists of the series. He worked as a bartender and underground boxer before chance led him to be Kinn's head bodyguard.

  • Bad Liar: After spiking Kinn's drink with wasabi, Porsche's excuses are so bad he ends up having to drink it himself.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He's very protective of Porchay, which is the reason why he finally caved in and decided to work for Kinn.
  • Brutal Honesty: During his time as Tankhun's bodyguard, Porsche was the only one who didn't just go along with what his boss told him to do, but continuously questioned Tankhun's decisions.
  • Caught on Tape: When he's peeing in the carp-pond.
  • Chick Magnet: Before falling for Kinn, he had a habit of hooking up with different women behind Yok's bar.
  • Determinator: He'll find out what's going on with his parents' death no matter what.
  • Enemy Mine: Teams up with Vegas to find out the truth about his parents, in exchange for setting up a meeting with Pete.
  • Genius Ditz: He's great at mixing drinks and knows how to fight, but that's about it. His first day of bodyguard training is pretty much just him failing at everything, even making coffee.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's got an abrasive personality, but is a genuinely good person who wants the best for his friends.
  • Kissing Cousins: Was briefly led to believe that he was this with Kinn, before finding out that his mother was adopted into the Theerapanyakul-family.
  • Laser-Guided Amnesia: Porsche very specifically can't remember how his parents actually died.
  • Promotion to Parent: He has been his younger brother Porchay’s guardian since the death of their parents when he was still a child.
  • Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Porsche has no loyalty to either of the Theerapanyakul-branches, he just wants to protect the people he cares about.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: He Swears like a sailor. Too bad the iQIYI subtitles censor everything out.
  • Take a Third Option: When Kinn asks him whether he's on the main or the minor family's side.
Porsche: I'm not on the main family's side. And I'm not on the minor family's side. I'm on your side.
  • Waistcoat of Style: Unlike the rest of the bodyguards, he wears one instead of a suit jacket.

    Porchay

Porchay Pitchaya Kittisawat

"I've always felt that I'm an unlucky person. But today, I've realized that all the lucks I have are for being here with you."

Portrayed by: Barcode Tinnasit Isarapongporn

Porchay is Porsche's younger brother who's unaware of Porsche's new job. He dreams of being a musician like his idol, Wik.

  • Anger Born of Worry: Chay is furious at his brother once he finds out about the mafia, and initially threatens to stop talking to Porsche unless he quits his job as Kinn's bodyguard.
  • Ascended Fanboy: Ends up in a relationship with his idol.
  • Celeb Crush: Chay was enamoured with Wik, Kim's singer persona, before they eventually met.
  • The Cutie: Helps that Chay's actor is considerably younger than most of the cast.
    • Break the Cutie: Getting kidnapped, finding out the truth about Porsche's job and getting his heart broken by Kim does a number on him.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: After Kim leaves him, Chay goes to a bar with his friends.
  • The Ingenue: He's the most innocent character in the series, and spends the longest not having any clue about the mafia drama that's going on. From his point of view, he was just living his Puppy Love dreams coming true.
  • Spell My Name With An S: His name is spelled Porché in the novel.

    Arthee

Arthee

Kinn Anakinn Theerapanyakul

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kinn.jpg
"Do you know, why we have the major and minor family? Because competition make us stronger."

Portrayed by: Mile Phakphum Romsaithong

Kinn is one of the main protagonists of the series. He is the middle child of the major family, but is positioning as the head. Under his quick-tempered and volatile exterior, he cares deeply about his family and people.

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: In the novel, Kinn is a bit of a Bastard Boyfriend to Porsche. In the series, his worst moments are either toned down or cut out completely.
  • Age Lift: He's a university student in the novel. In the series there is no mention of him going to school, which means he's likely been aged up a few years.
  • Closet Key: Kinn is this to Porsche.
  • Defrosting Ice King: He's initially very cold and unpleasant to Porsche. The two of them ending up lost in the woods for three days makes his cold persona crumble entirely.
  • Double Entendre: Shows a liking for these once his goofier side surfaces.
Kinn: I'm not carrying just one gun, you know. [takes Porsche's hand and places it on his crotch] This is another gun of mine.
Porsche: And about this gun, if I'm done with it, do I need to return it quickly? Or can it be used over and over?
Kinn: If you wanna know, you gotta try. Maybe three of four rounds.
  • The Dutiful Son: Kinn even suspects that Tankhun is pretending to be traumatized just so that he wouldn't have to be this.
  • Flirting Under Fire: During the minor family's attack in the final episode, Kinn runs out of bullets. Porsche tells him to grab his spare, instead, to which Kinn responds by grabbing Porsche's crotch.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: He's the responsible sibling to Tankhun's foolish sibling.
  • Lethal Chef: His attempt at cooking ends up very burnt.
  • Overcome with Desire: Despite his initial efforts to resist, Kinn eventually gives into a drugged Porsche's advances and has sex with him, leading to an increasingly strained relationship between them in the subsequent episodes.
  • The Perils of Being the Best: Kinn's considered by Korn to be a more fitting heir to be the head of the family than his older brother Tankhun, which means that he had to abandon his dreams of being a singer.

    Kim

Kim Kimhan Theerapanyakul

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kim_1.jpg
"Wik is another side of me. Maybe, it's the side that I prefer."

Portrayed by: Jeff Satur

  • Adaptational Job Change: Kim isn't a musician in the novel.
  • Amateur Sleuth: Becomes this as soon as he figures our his father is hiding something.
  • Belated Love Epiphany: Tries his best to act like spending time with Chay is only for gathering information, but going through their polaroid photos makes him realise just how much Chay meant to him.
  • Break His Heart to Save Him: Kim tells Porchay to leave him alone in order to protect him from the mob world.
  • I Just Want to Be Normal: Kim is living on his own instead of with his family, and states that he prefers his musician persona to the rest of him. He only involves himself in fights when Chay is in danger.
Kim (on his dream to be a musician): I ask myself all the time: how much do I want my dream to happen? Is it worth it if I lose something along the way? But if we love something with all our hearts, don't you think it's worth it?
  • The Stoic: Rarely shows what he's feeling.
    • Not So Stoic: After finding the polaroid picture from Chay in his guitar, Kim breaks down crying, regretting his decision to break up with him.

"Relax, don't be nervous. When you're hanging out with Tankhun, there's only a chill atmosphere."

Portrayed by: Tong Thanayut Thakoonauttaya

Tankhun is the oldest son of the major family, and the former heir. After being kidnapped at a young age, he became paranoid and overly emotional, making him unfit to be the head of the family.

  • Ambiguously Gay: In the show only. He retains his campy persona from the novels, but his Love Interest, Dr. Top, never appears.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Just when Porsche is about to be shot by Vegas in the final episode, Tankhun and Arm send exploding gadgets out as a distraction.
  • Childish Older Sibling
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Her's the foolish sibling to Kinn's responsible sibling.

    Korn

Korn Theerapanyakul

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/korn.jpg
"History is written by the victors."

Portrayed by: Kob Songsit Roongnophakunsri

Korn is the current head of the major family, and the father of Tankhun, Kinn and Kim.

  • Abusive Parents: A somewhat mild case. He acts nice and understanding towards his sons, but from a viewer's perspective it is clear that he's lying to and manipulating the people around him to further his own motives.
  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Seems like a harmless father whose worsening health prevents him from participating in the family business, but is actually the puppetmaster manipulating everyone around him.
  • Cain and Abel: Believes that competing with the minor family, whose head is his brother, makes them stronger.
  • Manipulative Bastard
  • Sibling Murder: What he does to Gun in the final episode.

Minor branch of the Theerapanyakul-family

Vegas is the older son and heir of the minor family, and Kinn's cousin. He is cunning, and good at manipulating people into doing his bidding.

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: While he does some terrible things in the series, Vegas isn't quite as sadistic as in the novel.

  • Easily Forgiven: He gets off pretty easy for someone who tried to murder his cousin and kidnapped one of the main family's most trusted bodyguards. He might have been kicked out of the family business, but if Kinn's feelings are anything to go by, that could almost be considered a reward.
  • Enemy Mine: Helps Porsche find out the truth about his parents in exchange for Porsche setting up a meeting with Pete for him.

  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Despite being a despicable person, he seemed to honestly care for Namphueng.

  • Mistaken for Undead: When he comes back to the major family's compund covered in blood, Tankhun and the rest of Pete's funeral attendees assume this. Arm and Pol immediately run away and Porsche jumps on Kinn's back, but Tankhun's reaction is to casually hug 'zombie-Pete'.

  • Driven to Suicide: After realizing that Vegas wasn't coming back for him.
  • Love-Interest Traitor: He was this to Kinn.
