Species: Human
Quirk: Quirkless
A Quirkless teenager who wishes to be a hero like his idol, All Might. When his idol crushes his dreams, he accidentally stumbles upon the Omnitrix, a powerful watch-like alien device, which promptly stuck itself upon his wrist. After discovering that it allows him to turn into various alien creatures, each with its own set of powers, he sets out to become the hero he always dreamed of.
  • Awesomeness by Analysis: Has a vast knowledge of Quirks and knows how to counter them with his aliens. He also has great judgment, able to analyze who or what is the bigger threat.
  • Badass Boast: Even though this paints a massive target on his back, his speech at the start of the U.A. Festival is definitely worth writing about.
Izuku Midoriya: Someone said something today that I've never expected; they said I was the most capable one out of Class 1-A. And I believe them. As of now, I stand at the top of all the other first-years! So, if any of you want to succeed then I'm the one to beat today!
  • Badass in Distress: He gets captured, alongside Bakugo, when the Vanguard Action Squad attacked the Forest Training Camp.
    • It gets even worse as he is now in Vilgax's clutches, unconscious, and stuck in an life-support jar.
  • Badass Normal: Having studied heroes since childhood, he has in-depth knowledge of how to avoid their powers or counter them. In addition to that, he already went through Plumbers' training to give him an edge. He's also revealed to be a talented shot.
  • Berserk Button: Don't ever call him Quirkless!
  • Beware the Nice Ones: A word of advice; Don't ever anger the kid that can transform into several incredibly powerful and highly dangerous alien heroes. A lesson All Might had to learn the hard way.
  • Broken Pedestal:
    • Towards All Might not only out of the belief that the man cares for him for his Omnitrix but also suspecting him to be All For One's minion. To further cement that All Might is no longer Izuku's idol, he gives back the autograph All Might gave him.
    • When Izuku gets to his Rage Breaking Point, Izuku rants that Bakugou and Henzu have become this as well.
  • Butt-Monkey: The universe seems to have it out for him.
  • Catchphrase: From Ben 10 Canon, "It's Hero Time!"
  • Combo Platter Powers: Each of his alien forms has its own powers allowing him access to a hero for any situation. If he can get the right alien for said situation.
  • Determinator: Even if he's Quirkless, even if the Omnitrix times out at the worst times, even if he's all alone, Izuku will go above and beyond to save even one person, no matter what happens to him.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Izuku finally stands up to Bakugou and transforms into Water Hazard to give his tormentor a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown.
  • Easily Forgiven:
    • Initially Averted HARD. He is unable to forgive his father for abandoning him for so many years even if he had a reason for doing so. He eventually forgives Hisashi after understanding how much the latter loves him.
    • All Might's case is Downplayed. He does forgive All Might for his accusations towards him but it'll be a long while before Izuku can trust him again.
  • "Eureka!" Moment: A common occurrence is that he always sports a smile on his face whenever he thinks up a solution. Tsuyu and Tokoyami notice this at the U.A. Sports Festival and realize they are in trouble.
  • Genius Bruiser: Several of the Omnitrix's aliens are powerful in their own right. However, with Midoriya's brains at the helm, they are far more deadly.
  • Giver of Lame Names: His classmates (particularly Asui) find the names Izuku gives his aliens to be lame.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Downplayed. Izuku is rather jealous and resentful of people with Quirks after being ostracized as the only Quirkless kid around for years. He is pissed at Todoroki for treating his Quirk like a curse and wasting its potential.
  • The Gunslinger: Others like Snipe notice that Izuku has great marksmanship although Izuku downplays his feats as dumb luck. He becomes one after taking the S.A.G.E gun.
  • Hates Their Parent: Izuku initially resented his father for abandoning him and his mother because he believed Hisashi left them due to Izuku being Quirkless. Even when he does find out the truth, he still holds resentment towards the older Midoriya because he was still absent for most of his life. He finally reconciles with Hisashi in Chapter 51.
  • The Heart: Izuku tends to be a positive influence to those around him and encourages others through their darkest moments.
  • Henshin Hero: Comes with the territory of having the Omnitrix.
  • Heroic BSoD: Suffers through this after Malware deactivates the Master Control. Kraab snaps him out of it.
  • Heroic Lineage: In canon his father, Hisashi, is implied to be an ordinary worker, here he's Pro hero Cinder and a Plumber agent.
  • Honorary True Companion: He's seen as this by the members of Gang Orca's agency, Ushimitsudoki Aquarium, after his internship with them. In chapter 81, Fuka and Dholak make it clear they're going to make the League of Villains pay for messing with one of their school.
  • Hope Bringer: With the Omnitrix, Midoriya along with the Plumbers hope to inspire not just the people of his world but also those from other worlds to stand up and fight against evil.
  • Humble Hero: Has the opportunity to take credit for arresting Stain, as he was authorized to engage in battle, and he didn't technically use his Quirk. He turns it down, however, saying it wouldn't be right, as he didn't defeat the villain alone, so he doesn't deserve all the credit. His friends end up going behind his back and he ends up receiving the credit anyway.
  • Instant Expert: Downplayed. He still has a lot to learn before he fully masters his aliens' abilities but many did notice that he has a surprisingly good grasp on how to use them.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: At first, Izuku believed that his father left his family because his son was Quirkless. In reality, Hisashi left because of his duties as a Plumber.
  • Logical Weakness: Izuku can only use his "Quirk" if he can access the Omnitrix. If his hand can't touch it or if the Omnitrix is covered, he can't transform.
  • Loser Protagonist: Izuku Midoriya starts like this due to being born Born Unlucky and arguably still is. He was ostracized by his peers all his life because of his desire to be a hero. His only friend, Henzu, eventually leaves him. Even when he gets the Omnitrix and attends U.A., he's constantly attracting trouble.
  • The Mind Is a Plaything of the Body: Whenever he transforms, Izuku gains characteristics from his aliens such as XLR8's Motor Mouth habits, Buzzshock's mischief, and Rath's Hair-Trigger Temper.
  • My Greatest Failure: He sees his former friend Henzu becoming a villain as this.
  • Nice Guy: He's one of the kindest people around.
  • One-Man Army: Midoriya and Thirteen come up with a cover story that the former's abilities are a Quirk called, "One Man Army". Also given his powers he is a literal one-man army
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Midoriya is one of the nicest people around so all of class 1-A knows something is wrong with him when he delivers a snide comment at Bakugo.
    • Happens again when Inko finds his room devoid of All Might merchandise. Inko notes that something is very wrong. Especially since Izuku is one of All Might's biggest fans.
  • Pet the Dog: Despite Bebop and Rocksteady ruining the surprise birthday party his class and family planned for him, Izuku gave them a bit of his cake when he noticed them sulking.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: Delivers these from time to time. Most common is "It's Hero Time!"
  • Pungeon Master: Starts to become this much to his classmates' ire, Asui especially.
  • Rage Breaking Point: With a combination of his father coming home, Monoma's taunting, and Bakugo's bullying, Izuku can only take so much until he snaps. This finally comes ahead when Izuku transforms into Heat Blast and tries to burn All Might alive in a blind rage.
  • Rebuilt Pedestal: Downplayed. While Izuku does forgive All Might, he makes it clear that it's not the same as trusting him again but he'll try his best to be able to.
  • Secret-Keeper: He wields the Omnitrix, which is level 20 technology, and must keep its true nature from everyone so people like Vilgax can't take advantage and abuse it. He also knows about the existence of aliens on Earth. He later learns the secret of One For All and All For One.
  • Ship Tease: Something is going on between him and Uraraka.
  • The Smart Guy: Izuku's greatest strength is his sharp mind. Todoroki even admits it as well and that it, combined with his Omnitrix powers makes him the most powerful among Class 1-A.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Has to do this several times in the story:
    • Has to work with Bakugo when his dad and Kirishima are captured along with a bunch of innocent campers.
    • He's forced to work with Nue, his ex-best friend when they are both trapped in the Null Void
  • Took a Level in Jerkass:
    • Due to misundertanding his father's return is the result of Izuku finally having a quirk, Izuku becomes bitter and antagonistic towards Bakugou, Henzu and All Might. It stops when Izuku solves his issues with his father.
    • Downplayed. Once Midoriya is granted access to Master Control, it didn't take long for Midoriya to be TOO excited in abusing his newfound unlimited access to his powers. Thankfully, he calms down.
    • Downplayed. Apparently, he's been pulling harmless pranks on Monoma all year. Though given this is Monoma we're talking about, its justified.
  • True Companions: See's his class, specifically Ochaco, as this, them being the first real friends he's had in his life.
  • Unknown Rival: He has one in Billy Billions. The billionaire boy vows to show him up and curses him due to the Class 1-A girls (specifically Ochaco) constantly praising him which makes Billy jealous because they're not talking about him, despite not knowing who Deku is.
  • Un-Sorcerer: On Earth, 80% of people are born with a superpower called a Quirk. Izuku is one of the unlucky 20% to be born without one even though he has the Omnitrix.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Develops a fear of clowns after dealing with Zombozo. Seems to grow out of this after his second encounter with the clown.

Species: Human
Quirk(s): Zero Gravity, One For All
An outgoing young girl who befriends Izuku not long after he finds the Omnitrix. She is then scouted out by All Might not long after, becoming the Ninth user of "One For All". Her Quirk is "Zero Gravity", which allows her to remove the gravity of any object she touches.
  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: Now possessing One For All, she has a lot to live up to, especially when she realizes that the entire Universe knows about All Might.
  • Adaptational Badass: Here, she is the Ninth wielder of One For All. Because of it, she fares far better against the likes of Todoroki and Bakugo; and as a result is considered one of Class 1-A's strongest fighters.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance: She meets up with Izuku way earlier than how they met in canon.
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: She is the Ninth wielder of One for All. This allows her to fly and make anti-gravity fields
  • Arch-Enemy: To Tomura Shigaraki due to possessing One For All.
  • Ascended Extra: While Ochaco is the main female lead in canon, she doesn't play much of a role in the early major events of the story. Here, due to possessing One For All, she plays a role in some of the major events such as the battle against Stain and even takes over Deku's role in the Kamino Arc.
  • Battle Trophy: Takes a mallet from Zombozo's circus as a souvenir.
  • Covert Pervert: Gets a Nosebleed along with Momo when they both see how handsome Shoto looks in his disguise during the Kamino arc.
  • Deadpan Snarker: While not to Tsu’s level, Ochaco is shown to be this whenever she has to play the Straight Man.
  • Disappointed in You: She can't help but be this after learning the role All Might had in Izuku's Rage Breaking Point.
  • Energy Ball: Uraraka's "Ryou Spheres" fires pink energy spheres that will explode upon contact on any surface.
  • Entertainingly Wrong: She had a theory that Thirteen’s body was an ethereal mass contained in the hero’s suit. For the record Thirteen is a very human looking Plumbette
  • Genki Girl: Her energetic personality is as bright as a supernova. Nothing really dampens her day.
  • Gravity Master: Can manipulate gravity to the point of flight and anti-gravity fields.
  • The Heart: When working in a team, she often manages to cool tensions and encourage others to work together.
  • Heroic Build: After going through All Might's training regime to handle One For All, Ochaco now has a body fit for an Olympian swimmer.
  • Hidden Depths: To Mina's surprise she's apparently a closet WWE fan.
  • Legacy Character: Here, she is the Ninth wielder of One For All and carries on All Might's legacy.
  • Megaton Punch: Whenever she uses One For All, most of her attacks are this. Empowered by One For All, her punches are so powerful that Diamondhead even feels it.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Ochaco revealing All Might's secret to Izuku has caused a strained relationship between the two of them.
  • Not Quite Flight: She uses her Zero Gravity Quirk to make herself weightless and her new support item, the Gyro-Disc, to help her move in the air.
  • Pop-Cultured Badass: Ochaco is always spouting various pop culture clichés due to being very excited about the world of aliens. She's also pretty skilled in kicking evil alien butt.
  • Rousing Speech: She gives one to the aliens and the U.A. faculty in demanding their help by saying they are just as scared as they are and that Izuku needed their help in a manner to how she did in canon to convince the refugees at U.A. to let Izuku into U.A. to recover his strength.
  • Secret-Keeper: She knows about the Omnitrix's true nature and the existence of aliens.
    • She's aware of Shoto's tragic upbringing when the latter revealed to her and Izuku why he declared war on the both of them.
  • Ship Tease: Something is going on between her and Deku. Notably, she gets awfully upset about not being able to tell Izuku about One For All.
  • Spin Attack: "The Saturn Smash" is this.
  • This Explains So Much: This sums up Uraraka's reaction when she hears about the Omnitrix and aliens.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: She speculates that Hisashi and Vilgax were former friends and plumbers until Vilgax went greedy and rogue forcing Hisashi into making the hard decision in fighting his "former" friend. While Hisashi found the speculated story to be funny, he denied it saying that they simply just hate each other; much to Ochaco's chagrin of being wrong.
