    Mr. Baumann

Ignacius Baumann

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/baughmann_ov_tabber.png
Species: Human
Quirk: Janitor's Closet
Izuku's neighbor and the owner of a local alien grocery store in Musutafu.
  • Chronically Crashed Car: His car is the victim of Midoriya's actions, albeit accidental.
  • Grumpy Old Man: He has a tense relationship with Midoriya. Unlike Bakugo, Baumann has justified reasons for disliking the young teen.
  • Hammerspace: Limited. Mr. Baumann's Quirk gives him access to his own personal pocket dimension but for some reason, he can only store cleaning supplies inside of it. Not very useful for combat since the portals are only big enough for his arm to slip inside but it's still pretty nifty for cleaning up messes. Although he does actually have to put said cleaning items inside it first. Certainly helps for whenever Izuku is around.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He may dislike Izuku for messing up his store but still roots for him in the U.A. Sports Festival. He also expresses his disapproval of Bakugo's bullying of Izuku when they were kids.
    • In Chapter 38/43, he's concerned about Izuku's behavior and calls Ochaco to find out what's wrong with him.
  • Running Gag: Izuku destroying his car.
  • Secret-Keeper: As per Ben 10 canon he's a civilian who runs a store supplying aliens hiding among humans with food from their homeworlds.
    • He also knew Eirene Ashido was keeping her alien heritage hidden from her daughter.
Ochaco: Any more secrets you're holding out on?
Baumann: Uraraka, please, we deal with aliens; secrecy is all we deal with.

Species: Human
Quirk: Human Lie Detector
A police officer who's a longtime friend of All Might, and one of the few people outside of the U.A. staff who knows All Might's secret. He aids U.A. in investigating the origins and nature of the League of Villains.
  • By-the-Book Cop: Follows all of the rules in his investigations, even keeping his best friend in the dark about information that is relevant to the case.
  • Friend on the Force: He’s this for All Might.
  • Hilariously Wrong: With no knowledge about the existence of aliens, he believes that Midoriya obtained his powers from a deal his father made with All For One.
  • Logical Weakness: His Quirk can only tell him if someone is lying to him not what they are lying about.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: While he knows that Izuku is lying to him, he still acknowledges that he is a good person and gives him the benefit of the doubt.
  • Secret Secret-Keeper: He's one of the few people who knows about One For All.
    • He comes to know of the secret of aliens.

    Mitsuki Bakugo

Mitsuki Bakugo

Species: Human
Quirk: Glycerin
Katsuki's mother who is just as prone to rage as her son is, except she has her rage more under control. She's friends with Izuku's mom, Inko.
  • Like Mother, Like Son: Like Katsuki, she too is also prone to rages, but she's able to keep her anger under control and for the most part, is polite to her friends.
  • Secret-Keeper: She later comes to know of the existence of aliens.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: She tore Hisashi a new one for leaving his family, especially when his son needed his support more than ever back then.

Species: Human
Quirk: Unnamed Crow Mutation Quirk
She's an inspector for the Tokyo Police Department, the mother of Fumikage Tokoyami and a former friend of Hisashi Midoriya.
  • Adaptation Species Change: From an anthropomorphic crow to a human who looks like a crow.
  • Adaptational Name Change: Justified. Legally she is in fact a Tokoyami, but she continues to use her maiden name, Tezuka, for the sake of her career.
  • By-the-Book Cop: She's a very good cop.
  • Canon Immigrant: She’s from DuckTales (2017).
  • Detective Animal: She's a cop with a bird head.
  • Friend on the Force: She was this to Hisashi, but now she can barely stand him thanks to an instant where Hisashi's duties as a Plumber made him look like a villain.
  • Hello Again, Officer: How her reunion with Hisashi pretty much went.
  • Inspector Javert: After a misunderstanding regarding aliens, she believes Hisashi is a criminal that aids villains.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: She doesn’t know about the aliens secretly living on Earth which ultimately caused her friendship with Hisashi to fall apart.

  • We Used to Be Friends: She and Hisashi used to work together, but due to an incident involving aliens they had a falling out which lead to her not receiving her promotion to inspector until much later.

    Billy Billions

Billiam "Billy" Billions

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/billy_billions_model.png
Species: Human
Quirk: Know How
A rich and very intelligent short-statured young man, who is the grandson of the owner of an underwater hotel which was visited by the Class 1-A girls, whom he flirted with no effect until it was attacked by robotic alien squids.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Downplayed Trope. Compared to his canon counterpart, Billy is willing to help out the heroes in stopping the Cyber Squids if only to save his own life.
  • Age Lift: He's physically a teenager here, albeit very short, unlike canon where he's a teen in a 10-year-old body.
  • Casanova Wannabe: Billions flirts with the Class 1-A girls who do not like it. They even think he's the same as Mineta, but richer.
  • Composite Character: He takes the role of Edwin Grandsmith from the Classic Series. Likely due to their similar designs.
  • Dirty Coward: Abandons the group to fend off the Cyber Squids to save his own hide.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Hates being compared to Deku culminating in him declaring the latter to be his rival.
  • Hypocrite: Comes to believe Deku is some womanizer just because the girls mentioned him a lot, even though he's been trying to flirt and impress the girls excessively nearly the whole time he was with them.
  • Insane Troll Logic: The girls mention your name a lot and that makes you a womanizer who thinks he's better than him. That's what Billy comes to think of Deku.
  • Instant Expert: What his Quirk does. If he has the right materials to do so, then the knowledge of how to build something will pop right into his head.
  • Oblivious to His Own Description: As mentioned above, Billy calls Deku a womanizing scumbag, when that description would be better suited for himself.
  • Related in the Adaptation: He's the grandson of Donovan GrandSmith.
  • Stalker with a Crush: He continuously finds a way to message Momo, no matter how many times she manages to block him and has even started asking for the numbers of the other Class A girls.

    Melissa Shield

Melissa Shield

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/melissa_shield_profile_8.png
Species: Human
Quirk: Quirkless
She is the genius daughter of David Shield, and with a positive attitude and vast intellect, she works hard to be a hero. After the events of the I-Island arc, she decides to leave Earth for the Plumbers Academy.
  • Adaptational Job Change: Given that her father is a Plumber in this version, she's technically a cadet much like Izuku, Ochaco, and Mina.
  • Good Counterpart: To Malware as both were children of scientists.
  • Nice Girl: Melissa is a very nice girl who is willing to do everything in her power to help those in need, especially heroes. She wasn't jealous of Deku getting the omnitrix as he feared and instead wished him the very best of luck.
  • Put on a Bus: After being inspired by the heroic actions of Deku, Ochaco, and their classmates; Melissa decides to go off-world to study in the Plumbers Academy.
  • Secret-Keeper: She knows all about aliens and the Omnitrix. Her father is a Plumber.
  • Teen Genius: Melissa is a genius capable of builting many support items, including the Full Gauntlet for Ochaco. She even managed the systems of the Deku-Ex-Machina alongside Kraab.
  • Un-Sorcerer: Like Izuku, she too is a part of the twenty-percent minority of humans who weren't born with a Quirk.

    Kota Izumi

Kota Izumi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c_chara_main80_1.png
Species: Human
Quirk: Water Gun
The son of Mandalay's cousins who lives with the Wild Wild Pussycats after losing his pro hero parents were killed in the line of duty.
  • Accidental Pervert: He glances at the naked girls from Class 1-A without meaning to, which causes him to fall off the wall.
  • Everyone Has Standards: He might have a hatred of the Quirk world at such a young age, but he's sickened by Mineta's perversion over his female classmates:
Kota: Before you become a hero, you should learn how to be a good human. [pushes Mineta off the wall]
  • Freudian Excuse: Hates heroism because it cost his parents their lives, and everybody around him would go on about how it was an honorable way for them to die.
  • Hates Their Parent: He hates that his parents were killed because they were heroes.
  • Irrational Hatred: He utterly despises all heroes and Quirks because his parents were heroes and they got killed when they were murdered on duty by a villain. However, this is justified because he's a young child who doesn't really understand why everyone praised his parents' honorable deaths.
  • Meaningful Name: His given name contains the character for "sparkling water", while his surname means "flood". Fitting for someone with water powers.
  • Misplaced Retribution: A villain killed his parents, so who does he blame? The entire hero industry and people with Quirks (because according to his child logic, if his parents weren't heroes with Quirks, they wouldn't have been murdered), including kicking Midoriya (who he had never met before and was just saying hello) in the stomach, as Upchuck, because he was training to become a hero.
  • Parental Abandonment: His parents got murdered by a villain when he was around three years old (as stated by Mandalay during a point when he is five years old, his parents was killed two years earlier). He's under the care of his aunt (technically second cousin), Mandalay.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Always has an angry pout on his face.

     Will Harangue

Will Harangue

Species: Human
Quirk: Silver Tongue
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/will_omniverse.png

A loud-mouth newscaster and host of the New Will Harangue Nation, who will do anything for ratings including smearing respected Pro Heroes.

  • Compelling Voice: His Quirk, Silver Tongue, allows him to plant suggestions into people's minds so long as they are open to suggestions.
  • Composite Character: With the canonical reporter who questioned Nezu, Aizawa, and Vlad King at the press conference.
  • Shout-Out: His powers are similar to one of his canon self's inspirations, DC Comics' Glorius Godfrey of the New Gods.

     Lieutenant Steel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/steel_53.png
Species: Human
Quirk: N/A
A military agent who works with the Hero Public Safety Commission in covering alien evidence from the public eye.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: Unlike in canon, his disdain and disgust towards extraterrestrial life is much more profound here.
  • Fantastic Racism: He views all aliens with disdain and even refers to them as "things".
    • It's implied that he doesn't view the Quirkless in high regard either as he refers to Izuku as a "Quirkless punk".
  • "It" Is Dehumanizing: Calls all aliens "things".
  • Rugged Scar: He has one that goes below his eye.
