     The 15 Strangers

Harriet Vaughn

The Rubber

Alive...for now.

Felicity Parham

The Embarrassing

The culprit of Case 1 (Week 2).
  • Living Lie Detector: Her power allows her to tell if someone she's touching is telling the truth.
  • Mama Bear: After seeing Emma get attacked by Bang, she attempts to shank the other woman with an ice cream cone.
  • Sorry to Interrupt: Her reaction upon seeing Eddie Kim's partially melted and skeletal corpse.
  • Would Hurt a Child: She's happy to knock out and strangle Akko because she seemed like the easiest target.

Bangladesh Dupree

The Scratch

Dead as of Week 4.
  • Blood Knight: Her reaction to people attacking her after she messes up Jun? Get even more excited and urge more of them to attack her.
  • Femme Fatalons: Her power lets her grow her fingernails into knives.
  • Token Evil Teammate: How evil? She tries to kill someone before any of the motives are even shared, and keeps fighting even when it's obvious she'd be the culprit.
  • You Remind Me of X: Franciscus notes that she reminds him of Clarisse, who he met in Cartesio.

Eddie Kim

The Oral

Killed during peace week.
  • Asshole Victim: Considering one of his distinguishing traits is "terrorist" and his likes include "putting snakes on planes"...

Zelda

The Noodles

Scapegoated in Case 2 (Week 3).

Arthur Charles

The Approach

Alive...for now.
  • Cruel Mercy: He's direct about it, after Case 2. "You're not a bad guy, Eric. I don't care what the others think, you're not - or you wouldn't be this bothered. Which means the worst for you is having to live with it. And live knowing we could punish you. Probably should... but didn't."
  • Famed In-Story: During endgame, he gets a vision of the future that involves him getting a giant gold statue as the Slayer of Fear.
  • Seers: His power lets him see both the past and future.

Thanatos Beldine

The Neon

The culprit of Case 3 (Week 4).

Ambrosine

The Circuit

An immortal lich who made it to the survivor pool.
  • Only One Name
  • Original Character: As most DnD characters are.
  • The Archmage: Was capable of casting ninth-level spells (the most powerful level in her canon) before arriving, and had a fairly thick spellbook that was acquired via the Rotator. Later, she managed to get some of its power back, using it to great effect when she assisted in the deaths of both of the Stewards.
  • Lady of Black Magic
  • Lawful Neutral: As a D&D character, per Word of God.
  • Thinking Up Portals: Her power allows her to create wormholes between locations.
  • Our Liches Are Different: Has some sort of magic keeping her looking mostly alive, but revealed this to Eric during Week 2.
  • Vain Sorceress: Is both extremely skilled in magic and extremely obsessed with her personal appearance.
  • Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Describes this as "one of her few scruples" in the first trial.

Osomatsu Matsuno

The Enemy

Alive...for now.

Krone

The Obtuse

Alive...for now.

Eric Lecarde

The Fast

Culprit of Case 2. Alive....
  • Cigarette of Anxiety: Before Jun confiscated them (to his 1910s-accurate confusion), he got at least three in.
  • Groin Attack: Got kicked in the groin by a partially restrained Bangladesh, and was down for the rest of that fight.
  • Living Shadow: As his Nightmares level rises substantially, eventually his shadow comes to life, though it's still mostly under his control and even contributes to killing Asura.
  • Please Kill Me if It Satisfies You: After the second trial, where Zelda is executed in his place, he's willing to accept being killed by the rest of the Strangers.
  • Wrong Genre Savvy: Among other things, he just couldn't help himself, went tapping walls looking for wall roast (just in case the house WAS a Castle), and instead met some of the less... embodied... residents.

Franciscus Erkens

The Scorching

The victim of Case 2 (Week 3).

Emma Millstein

The Overboard

Dead as of the Final Week.

Atsuko "Akko" Kagari

The Ursa

The victim of Case 1 (Week 2).
  • Big Damn Heroes: Her ability is what finally freezes Bangladesh long enough for Felicity to knock her out.
  • The Paralyzer: Her ability lets her stop someone from moving for one minute by touching them.

Jun Ushiro

The Launcher

Week 4/Case 3 victim.

     NPCs

The Younger Steward (Giriko)

  • Agitated Item Stomping: Leads to a lot of broken furniture in the mansion. He even encourages others to join in.

The Elder Steward (Mosquito)

The Lady (Arachne)

Excalibur

  • Mr. Exposition: Provides some helpful explanations on the current setting and the fact that all the Strangers now have Weapon abilities.

Asura

  • Nothing Is Scarier: Type 3. That thing behind the walls, the source of everyone's nightmares... not actually seen until Emma's death.
  • Your Soul Is Mine!: Kills Emma by ripping out their soul. Even though he's stopped before he can actually eat it, trying to return it does nothing to save her.
