Second Age

    Supermane

    Batmane

    Maretian Ponyhunter
  • Expy: He's based off of Space Sleuth, a hero of the Second Age.

    Spidermane

  • Expy: He's based on Web Warrior, a spider-themed Second-Age superhero whose civilian identity is Mulberry Park.
  • Spider-Man Send-Up: Just as Web Warrior is based on Spiderman himself, Spidermane is depicted as an In-Universe Expy of Web Warrior.

Third Age

Fourth Age

Our Neighbor's House

    Merry

  • Adaptation Name Change: Mary is changed to Merry here.
  • I Reject Your Reality: She falls into denial when her father failed to return after three days and stubbornly refuses to leave the house, leading to a heated argument between her and Berth.
  • Irony: Despite being put in charge of her younger sisters, she ends up falling into denial when their father fails to return, causing Berth, the middle sister, to take charge instead.

    Berth

    Hanneigh

'The Stallion with the Wide-Brimmed Hat'

Character: Heroic

Alignment: Neutral Good

Type: Reaper, Equinoid Abomination, Benevolent Entity

Faction: Unaffiliated

Era: Fourth Age

'The Stallion with the Wide-Brimmed Hat' (his entry here) is an enigmatic yet ultimately benevolent character who plays a major role in the short story "Our Neighbor's House".
  • Adaptational Wimp: Unlike Moon Ray Vaughoof, who was a powerful Alicorn god of Death (and later, an eldritch Alicorn god of cyclic nature), the Stallion is implied to be a Reaper or something similar, but his full capabilities are left unknown. This was intentional on Ghost Carrot's part, as the Stallion is the Anthropomorphic Personification of death and thus was supposed to be a mysterious and enigmatic, yet ultimately benevolent entity.
  • Expy: An In-Universe example. According to Ghost Carrot, the Stallion is based on Moon Ray Vaughoof. Like Moon Ray, the Stallion is a Reaper (or something similar) whose job is to usher souls into the afterlife, and is an incredibly gentle stallion who doesn't want to hurt the people he goes after, even as they treat him with suspicion. The Stallion also shares many traits with Moon Ray, such as their preferences for dark clothes and wide-brimmed hats, and their tendency to make wide, toothy smiles.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Inverted. Despite being an in-universe Expy of Moon Ray Vaughoof, the Stallion lacks a proper name, with his present one being based on what little information is provided of his appearance (that he's a stallion wearing a wide-brimmed hat). This was invoked to preserve the character's mysterious nature.
  • Snow Means Death: The Stallion appeared during an extremely heavy snowstorm that killed many Ponies — including sisters Merry, Berth, and Hanneigh — and is implied to be a Reaper whose job is to usher the souls of the dead into the afterlife.

Cosmic Cataclysm

Flutterfinity, the Mother of All Worlds

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant, Evolved, Eldritch, Fictional Character

Portfolio: Creation, Reality, Existence, Kindness, Life, Omnipotence (and numerous others)

Rank: ???

Era: Fourth Age

Flutterfinity (her entry here) is an eldritch goddess of Creation, Reality, Existence, Kindness, Life, and Omnipotence (and numerous others), and a fictional character from the highly controversial Cosmic Cataclysm comic.
  • Abstract Apotheosis: Twice.
    • She was once an mortal Pegasus mare who got turned into a Draconequus by Discord. Because Draconequui are full-fledged deities in the Codexverse, many readers In-Universe speculated that her domains would have been Chaos, Kindness, Nature, and Animals due to her personality and affinity for animals.
    • When Cosmos tries devouring and assimilating her, she ends up Ascending to godhood as Flutterfinity and replacing Cosmos as the universe's prime deity because her kind, compassionate nature made her a complete antithesis to Cosmos' malice. And as the universe's Mother Goddess, her portfolio includes every single domain in existence.
  • All Your Powers Combined: As a goddess of Omnipotence, she possesses magic from all races, including those of Ponies and Draconequui, as she created them in her universe.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification:
    • As a Draconequus, it's speculated that she would have embodied Chaos, Kindness, Nature, and Animals, both due to her overall personality and affinity for animals, and the fact that Draconequui are deities.
    • Following her universal apotheosis, she would come to embody all domains, including the ones listed in her entry like Creation, Reality, Existence, Kindness, Life, and Omnipotence. This is because the nature of her apotheosis turned her into the mother goddess and creator of the entire universe.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: As a Draconequus, she had power similar to Discord's and was speculated In-Universe to be an actual goddess due to Draconequui being a type of god. However, this trope really didn't come into play until after she, thanks to Cosmos assimilating her, achieved universal apotheosis and transformed into the mother goddess of an entire universe. Despite having the power to off Cosmos — by then a prisoner within her universal "body" — she chooses not to out of kindness... but she is fully aware of Cosmos' constant attempts to subvert/destroy her from the inside and has used her power to make her foe's existence utterly hellish by undoing all the damages Cosmos has wrought. She even throws Cosmos' "whatever I say, goes" logic back in her face.
Flutterfinity: Not So Funny When This "Whatever I Say, Goes" Bull(YAY) Happens To You - Is It?!
  • Big Beautiful Woman: As Flutterfinity, she's noted to be indescribably beautiful, but gradually became quite plump due to spending eons absorbing knowledge gathered by generations of mortal geniuses and others. Despite this, she never loses her beauty, only growing more traits like facial wings, eyes, and Alicorn horns.
  • Big Good: Not only is she literally big (being a universe-spanning goddess whose 'body' makes up the universe itself), but she becomes the Mother Goddess of her own universe after accidentally turning the tables on Cosmos (who was trying to devour and usurp her as Discord's lover) and taking her place as the universe's primary creator deity.
  • Blue-and-Orange Morality: After transforming into Flutterfinity, she developed a very alien and incomprehensible mindset comparable to older deities like the Grand Primevals. Time has little meaning to her, and what might take billions of years to a lesser deity might be a few seconds to her. Other concepts like life and death are much different from her perspective compared to everyone else's. A notable example is how she sees Cosmos' attempted rampages following her imprisonment — since said rampages occurred in what is essentially her 'body', she sees Cosmos as an annoyance at best and a reminder of even greater evils at worst. Her mindset is partially why she created many lesser deities to help her oversee the universe, as they can get around her chronal dissonance.
  • Deity of Human Origin: She once was a Pegasus mare until she was turned into a Draconequus by Discord, causing readers In-Universe to speculate she might actually be a bonafide goddess due to Draconequui being full-fledged deities. Later on, she becomes Flutterfinity after Cosmos attempted to replace her as Discord's lover by devouring and assimilating her. Then she turns back into a Pegasus again after essentially retconning the universe she created to restore her old one that Cosmos destroyed.
  • Eldritch Abomination: Following her (accidental) apotheosis and transformation into Flutterfinity, she became a gigantic, universe-spanning, eldritch goddess who is indescribably beautiful, yet vaguely equine, with her face being the only carryover from her mortal life as a Pegasus. Among other traits, she has blue eyes with white galaxies as her irises and pupils; a third eye on her forehead; a multi-layered halo; a rippling pink, blue, and purple mane made of nebulas and space energy; a pair of pink-green butterfly wings resting on her face to form a 'mask' with four additional eyes; and eyebrows made of stars that trail into butterflies, stars, and flowers. She also has chimeric animal traits such as the arms and hands of a frog, an Alicorn's horn made of pure energy, and a massive pair of Deer antlers that resemble tree branches containing countless outer galaxies. It's noted that while still possessing a yellow body, her body became composed of galaxies, stars, space energy, and even entire worlds, with new ones constantly spawning from her being through flowers like seeds. As she gradually absorbed knowledge gathered by generations of mortal geniuses and others over countless eons, her head began to swell to accommodate her new intellect, causing her to grow multiple Alicorn horns, form extra eyes and facial wings, and become quite plump.
  • Embodiment of Virtue: Much like her real-life counterpart, she was the Bearer of Kindness, and kept her kindly traits even after being turned into a Draconequus by Discord. Later, after transforming into Flutterfinity, she came to embody Kindness as a domain.
  • The Empath: Following her universal apotheosis, she became a goddess of Kindness, giving her the ability to sense and encourage kindness in all living things. She is so powerful that she can do it even across countless galaxies. This power is also part of her overall Psychic Powers.
  • Expy: She's based on Flutterfinity from the "Cosmic Cosmos" comic on deviantART, except she was adapted in the Codexverse as a comic book interpretation of the real Fluttershy/Gaia.
  • Flanderization: In-Universe. The real Fluttershy/Gaia Grew a Spine over the years, is currently the most powerful individual on the planet thanks to the Majestic Force, and won't hesitate to use force to protect those she loved. Meanwhile, Cosmic Cataclysm Fluttershy/Flutterfinity took her real-life counterpart's kind and pacifistic aspects and exaggerated them, to the point where she directly contributed to Cosmos violating, devouring, and assimilating all of reality into herself because she preferred to use words (despite, at the time, being a Draconequus with similar powers to Discord's) to resolve things. Naturally, Fluttershy/Gaia was appalled by how she was portrayed in the comic when she found out.
  • Genius Loci: She becomes the entire universe after (unintentially) usurping Cosmos' position. The thing is, she is Cosmos' complete antithesis by nature and personality, so after her Ascension, the universe itself became a place fundamentally built on kindness and love by her will.
  • Gentle Giant: As Flutterfinity, she is essentially the universe itself, so true to her name, she is utterly massive. Unlike Cosmos, who violated the laws of reality itself just to earn Discord's affections, she is a genuinely loving and compassionate goddess who made her universe based on kindness and ensured her creations remained resistant to Cosmos' efforts to destroy them. She was also reluctant to destroy her new universe to restore the old one that Cosmos destroyed, even though she dearly missed her friends; it's after Golden Will's creation that she gathers the strength to do so. She also loved Discord despite her transformation, and unconsciously willed it so that he would survive her Big Bang-like apotheosis and look at her without going mad.
  • God in Human Form: Deconstructed. By destroying/retconning the new universe she created in favor of the old one that Cosmos destroyed, she ends up being transformed back into a Pegasus mare, with all her power, knowledge, and eldritch nature being shunted into a mortal form. The sheer stress of doing so not only threatened to overwhelm her, but also started mutating her as her former divine power tried to manifest itself. Fortunately, Discord was able to stabilize her with a single boop to her nose.
  • God Is Good: Even as Flutterfinity, she never lost sight of her kindness and empathy for others. She created a universe based on kindness, hope, and love, and much like how the Architects created the entire divine hierarchy system so lesser deities could help mortals in their stead, she created many lesser deities to help look after all levels in the universe. She also allowed evil and death to exist (albeit with greater oversight to prevent a repeat of Cosmos' rampage) and punished Cosmos for her universe-destroying shenanigans by forcing her to watch as all the damage she inflicted are constantly undone by her cosmic jailer.
  • God of Good: Sort of. As the new universe's mother goddess, she embodies all concepts, whether good or evil. The domains listed under her portfolio were ones considered to be the most relevant to her nature as a comic book character based on the real Fluttershy.
  • Good Counterpart: To Cosmos, who is her complete antithesis. Unlike Cosmos, who embodies Malice, Flutterfinity embodies Kindness. While Cosmos saw the entire universe as her personal playground and has devoured, tormented, and assimilated everyone For the Evulz, Flutterfinity was an All-Loving Hero who cared for everyone, including the universe she created after achieving universal apotheosis. While Cosmos is a psychotic Yandere who violated and assimilated an entire universe into herself just to earn Discord's attention, Flutterfinity genuinely loved Discord for who/what he is and treats him kindly — something that frustrated Cosmos to no end.
  • Good Needs Evil: As Flutterfinity, she allowed evil to exist as a concept in her universe, having acknowledged it as necessary, but ensured that it would never get to the point of birthing something like Cosmos ever again.
  • Holy Halo: As Flutterfinity, she has a multi-layered halo.
  • Humiliation Conga: Invoked following her universal apotheosis as Flutterfinity. While unwilling to kill Cosmos with her universal powers, she nonetheless punished the latter for her universe-destroying shenanigans by foiling her at every turn, constantly undoing the damages Cosmos has inflicted to her universe. She also throws Cosmos' "whatever I say, goes" logic back in her face, pointing out that things aren't "so funny" anymore when Cosmos is on the receiving end of her own thinking. Then she finds a way to destroy the universe and retcon it back to its previous incarnation before Cosmos destroyed/devoured/assimilated it, reducing both of them back to how they were pre-Ascension (with Cosmos turning back into a mere Draconequus), which results in Cosmos getting a global No-Holds-Barred Beatdown from everyone she devoured in her mad rampage.
  • Hypocrite: Critics of Cosmic Cataclysm have pointed out she is essentially little different from Cosmos. Despite being a Draconequus (with all the power that implies), she instead resorts to pacifism instead of actively fighting Cosmos or protecting the latter's victims, and quickly gives up when reasoning with Cosmos failed. She also doesn't do anything to save her friends during Cosmos' universe-spanning rampagenote . As Flutterfinity, while she was reluctant to do so, she was still willing to sacrifice an entire universe she created to bring back the one she remembered, without bothering to look for a way to preserve her creations. Even Fluttershy/Gaia was appalled by how her comic book counterpart let things get so bad.
Queen Gaia Posey I: I would never forgive myself or Discord if either of us let things get that bad, especially on purpose.
  • Immortality Begins at Twenty: Subverted. Since Draconequui are divine creatures in the Codexverse, Discord's transformation of her into a Draconequus made her a bonafide goddess (if younger than Discord). After Ascending as Flutterfinity, she became the oldest being in the new universe that followed, but chronologically she was still quite young. She later reduces herself to a mortal Pegasus after retconning the new universe in favor of the old one that was destroyed by Cosmos.
  • Karmic Jackpot: Eventually, after multiple failed attempts to stop Cosmos' rampage, her kindness eventually pays off when Cosmos tries devouring and assimilating her in order to usurp her identity. Because she's Cosmos' complete antithesis, she ends up absorbing Cosmos into her instead as she Ascended and essentially became the mother goddess of a new universe, making Cosmos a prisoner inside her body.
  • Large and in Charge: After becoming Flutterfinity, she grows to cosmic proportions, so much that she actually becomes the universe itself in place of Cosmos. After that, she becomes the Mother Goddess of everything in it, including the mortal races populating the universe and the lesser deities created by her to help look after said universe.
  • Lonely at the Top: As the universe's Top God and Mother Goddess, she suffers from severe chronal dissonance because she is so ancient, and thus longed for her old universe. Many of the lesser deities she created were based on her memories of close friends and acquaintances who were devoured/killed by Cosmos, such as the Mane Six, Angel, Iron Will, and Blue Suede Heartstrings. Even Discord was able to survive the Big Bang that created her because she wanted him to survive, being her lover and one of her most trusted friends. Once she finds a way to destroy the new universe and retcon it to how things were before Cosmos' rampage, she takes it, though not without encouragement from Golden Will.
  • Magic Hair:
    • As a Draconequus, her pink Pony mane and tail were constantly rippling and blooming with flowers and vines.
    • As an eldritch goddess, she gaiend a rippling three-tone pink, purple, and blue mane made of nebulas and space energy.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Mother of All Worlds", due to achieving universal apotheosis via a Big Bang-like event and becoming the creator of an entire universe thanks to Cosmos' attempt to assimilate her.
  • The Marvelous Deer: As an eldritch goddess, one eldritch trait she had was a massive pair of Deer antlers resembling tree branches that contained other countless galaxies.
  • Meaningful Name: Flutterfinity is a portmanteau of "Fluttershy" and "infinity". This reflects her transformation into a new universe's Mother Goddess, whose 'body' is the universe itself and stretches out to... well, infinity.
  • Meaningful Rename: After Ascending and becoming the mother goddess of a new universe, she renames herself "Flutterfinity", as her 'body' is essentially the universe itself.
  • Mix-and-Match Critters:
    • As a Draconequus, she possessed chimeric animal traits relating to nature and animals, such as as the hind legs of a rabbit and bear, the fins of a Sea Pony, the horns of a Minotaur, the left wing of a Dragon, the right wing of a butterfly, the paws of a Manticore, the long tail of a Draconequus, and the tail stripes of a bee.
    • As an eldritch goddess, she had traits like the multiple arms and four-fingered hands of a frog, an Aliorn's horn made of pure energy, a pair of pink and green butterfly wings resting on her face to form a "mask" with four additional eyes on each wing section, and a massive pair of Deer antlers resembling tree branches that contained other countless galaxies.
  • The Omniscient: As a goddess of Omnipotence, she is all-knowing in addition to being almighty. Her domain makes her aware of everything that happens within her universe, allowing her to know of Cosmos' antics and keep her imprisoned after their roles were switched.
  • The Omnipotent: Having become the universe, Flutterinfinity can do basically anything in it/herself. She even has 'Omnipotence' as one of her domain.
  • Our Gods Are Different: Flutterinfinity is essentially a capital "G" God on account of being effectively Omni-potent/scient/present as the incarnation of the universe itself. She is quite literally EVERYONE and EVERYTHING.
  • Pretty Butterflies: Following her universal apotheosis, she gained a pair of pink and green butterfly wings resting on her face to form a "mask" with four additional eyes on each wing section.
  • Psychic Powers: As a goddess of Omnipotence, she has cosmic-level psychic powers that are strong enough to manipulate environments around her on a cosmic scale. They also, as part of her domain, make her aware of everything that happens within her universe. One such power is psychic empathy, which is enhanced due to her possessing the additional domain of Kindness.
  • Reality Warper: As a Draconequus, she possessed the same reality-warping powers as Discord. This is later exaggerated to cosmic degrees when she transforms into Flutterfinity, who among other things is the goddess of Reality. Having become the universe in Cosmos' place, she is effectively omnipotent and can bend reality to however she wishes. But due to her kind nature (and personally witnessing what Cosmos did to her old universe), she instead used her power to make the new universe incredibly resistant to malicious reality-warping to prevent antics similar to Cosmos'.
  • Related in the Adaptation: In-Universe. The Cosmic Cataclysm comic makes her related to almost every single one of her friends (including the Mane Six and Blue Suede Heartstrings) via creating them as deities to aid her in creating a new universe, making her their mother by all intents and purposes.
  • Relationship Upgrade: At the end of Cosmic Cataclysm, where the universe was reset to its previous incarnation prior to its destruction by Cosmos and Cosmos herself was reduced to how s
  • Sympathy for the Devil: Despite all the horrific things Cosmos did to her world, she couldn't help but sympathize with the mad goddess following the latter's messy "breakup" (which was actually Discord finally telling her off) and found herself comforting Cosmos after the fact.
  • Top God: A "God of Gods" example. Following her transformation into Flutterfinity, she created many deities to aid her in creating a new universe — such as the Mane Six, the equivalents of the fabled, genesic Architects; Angel Bunny, the first God of the Dead; and Blue Suede Hearstrings, the Cosmic Sovereign of Music. It's noted the deities she created were based on her memories of her friends from the old universe that Cosmos destroyed.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: She was furious with Discord for his ham-hoofed plan of starting a Legion of Doom to try make all the world's villains oppose Cosmos, which just made them all vulnerable to being caught and devoured by Cosmos herself, giving her even more power to continue her rampage.
    Fluttershy: Discord, WHAT THE B(YAY)?!
  • What You Are in the Dark: As Flutterfinity, she effectively had the same powers as Cosmos. Her kindness, however, meant she staunchly refused to misuse her powers like Cosmos did and instead made reality resistant to malicious reality-warping.

Cosmos, the Serpent of Malice (Cosmic Cataclysm)

  • Adaptational Villainy: In-Universe; the real Cosmos was a Tragic Villain corrupted by a pre-Heel–Face Turn Discord into becoming as evil as him, and while she was still feared for what she did as a villain, she has a lot of sympathetic qualities and ultimately settled down as a 'constructively evil' goddess with a steady lover in Temnobog. The Cosmic Cataclysm version of Cosmos is flanderized as an utterly evil and unrepentant villainess who was obsessed with Discord and went so far as to devour and assimilate the entire universe to earn Discord's love. And along the way, when she wasn't killing innocent people, she twisted and corrupted them into horrific monstrosities before killing them because she could.
  • The Anti-God: She's essentially the complete antithesis to Fluttershy/Flutterfinity. As the embodiment of Malice, she spread malice, corruption, and suffering for the sake of it and saw everything (and everyone) as her playthings. She was also selfish enough to violate the laws of reality and assimilate the entire universe into herself just to earn the affections of Discord, who never loved her at all. Compare that to Flutterfinity, who embodies Kindness and is a compassionate goddess who loved all life enough to reinforce the laws of her own universe, making it resistant to malicious reality-warping antics. In fact, her attempted devouring/assimilation of Fluttershy in an attempt to usurp the latter's position as Discord's lover is what led to Flutterfinity's creation in the first place.
  • Big Bad: She's the main villain of the Cosmic Cataclysm comic that Fluttershy and Discord must face to save the universe, as her attempts to woo Discord pushes her to devour and assimilate said universe.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: She easily wipes the floor with everyone, up to and including ancient deities like Emperor Golden Scepter and Blue Suede Heartstrings, and turns them into mere playthings for her to devour, torment, and assimilate for her own amusement. This has been a major source of ire for both critics and those who fought the real Cosmos, who all pointed out how completely unrealistic her rise to power is and how her opponents have been blatantly "nerfed" to make her appear as a threatening Invincible Villain for the sake of plot.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: While she's an extremely, unrepentantly wicked goddess who corrupted, devoured, and assimilated an entire universe partially For the Evulz (and partially to win Discord's affections), she refused to devour Cozy Glow and instead knocked the diabolical Pegasus filly away at a speed faster than the velocity of timespace. The writer/artist of Cosmic Cataclysm admitted he hated Cozy Glow with a passion and wanted to express that in his work.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: A huge flaw of hers is her complete inability and refusal to understand why Discord keeps choosing Fluttershy over her, driving her to violate and eventually consume the entire universe. When Discord "broke up" with her (i.e. told her his true feelings about her and why he never loved her), she comes to the conclusion that she must become Fluttershy to earn Discord's love and tries to assimilate her. This ends up backfiring on her in the worst way possible, as she ends up being the hapless prisoner of Fluttershy, now Flutterfinity, following the latter's universal apotheosis.
  • Evil Counterpart: To Fluttershy/Flutterfinity, who is her complete antithesis. Unlike Flutterfinity, who embodies Kindness, Cosmos embodies Malice. While Flutterfinity was an All-Loving Hero who cared for everyone, including the universe she created after achieving universal apotheosis, Cosmos saw the entire universe as her personal playground and has devoured, violated, tormented, and assimilated everyone For the Evulz. While Flutterfinity genuinely loved Discord for who/what he is and treats him kindly, Cosmos is a psychotic Yandere who violated and assimilated an entire universe into herself just to earn Discord's attention. The fact that she is continuously rejected by Discord in favor of Fluttershy/Flutterfinity has frustrated Cosmos to no end.
  • Evil Versus Evil: Invoked. Discord, while disguised as Grogar, tries to gather as many villains as possible so they could fight her and possibly bring her down. However, being the Invincible Villain she is, she quickly finds out about the plan anyway and devours all the villains Discord gathered, including the real Grogar. The only one she doesn't devour is Cozy Glow, whom she obliterated by knocking the Pegasus filly away faster than the velocity of timespace.
  • For the Evulz: When she wasn't devouring the entire universe to earn Discord's affections, she was devouring it because she's the goddess of Malice, and thus loves doing horrifically cruel things to others just because she could. This attitude of "doing evil things for the sake of being evil" is later deconstructed as it eventually bites her in the flank when she tries usurping Fluttershy's identity in a final attempt to make Discord love her without understanding why Discord prefers Fluttershy over her. Not only does she end up creating Flutterfinity, she's also left trapped and helpless within Flutterfinity's 'body' — that is, the folds of the new universe that Flutterfinity created to resist her shenanigans.
  • Genius Loci: Thanks to Discord and Fluttersy's inaction, she eventually succeeds in devouring and assimilating the entire universe, perverting even the concept of existence and turning everything into an utterly horrific Crapsack World. No one, not even Fluttershy or Discord, would be able to escape her or do anything against her without her learning of it, as she is everyone, everywhere, and everything all at once. Eventually, she is stil made part of the universe, but in a less appealing way as her attempts to usurp Fluttershy's very identity leads to Flutterfinity's 'birth', trapping her in the new universe that made up Flutterfinity's 'body'.
  • God of Evil: Among other things, she embodies Malice, which is indicated by her title. This is the reason why all of Fluttershy's attempts to reason with her completely failed, as it was in her nature to be a psychopathic, dog-kicking bastard who did extremely cruel things — up to assimilating and violating an entire universe in a cosmically horrific manner — simply For the Evulz.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Upon being utterly rejected by Discord, she somehow gets the idea that if Discord wouldn't love her as herself, then he definitely would if she became Fluttershy — namely, devouring and assimilating Fluttershy to usurp her identity. Unfortunately for her, Fluttershy is her complete antithesis, and her attempts to devour her only leads to Fluttershy becoming Flutterfinity while she is reduced to a powerless, hapless prisoner trapped within the folds of the universe that makes up Flutterfinity's body. Then it gets worse for her from there.
  • Humiliation Conga: After successfully violating and assimilating the entire universe, she learns Discord never loved her at all and in fact tells her off after finally deciding to come clean about his feelings. She then decides she needs to get rid of Fluttershy once and for all by usurping her identity completely... only for Fluttershy to be so fundementally different from her that Flutterfinity is born, turning the tables and reducing her to a powerless, hapless prisoner within Flutterfinity's body. During this period, all her attempts to destroy Flutterfinity's universe out of sheer spite are constantly foiled and undone, leaving her to rage impotently. Then, after Flutterfinity discovers a way to restore the universe and takes it, she gets turned back into a Draconequus, and in her weakened state, she is subjected to a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown by every single creature she previously violated and killed. As the final nail in the coffin, she has to watch as Discord, her unrequited crush, shares a kiss with her eternal rival, who is once more Fluttershy.
  • Invincible Villain: In-Universe. She's the titular Big Bad of the Cosmic Cataclysm comic by virtue of it taking place in an alternate scenario where the "Cosmos incident" occurred differently, in which she effortlessly beat, devoured, and tormented every single hero, villain, and deity who tries to fight her for the sake of the plot. Even ancient, powerful deities like Emperor Golden Scepter (and presumably, the Grand Primevals and their children), easily fell to her might. It's not until she tries devouring/assimilating Fluttershy that she's finally defeated and given a huge dose of Laser-Guided Karma. Many critics of Cosmic Cataclysm lambasted the completely unrealistic circumstances behind her rise to power in-story, while many people were understandably furious over being "nerfed" and reduced to incompetent idiots to make her look like a genuine cosmic threat.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: After tormenting Fluttershy and Discord, violating and absorbing an entire universe into herself in a cosmically horrific manner, she finally gets her just desserts when she tries to usurp Fluttershy as Discord's lover out of petty jealousy. As Fluttershy is her living antithesis in many ways, her attempts to devour the Pegasus-turned-Draconequus completely backfires when it only leads to Fluttershy's Ascension as the Mother Goddess Flutterfinity instead, while she is trapped within the folds of the new universe that is Flutterfinity's "body". Then Flutterfinity discovers a way to restore the old universe and retcons the new one, restoring everything back to how it was before her cosmic rampage and leaving her completely vulnerable to a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown from every single person she devoured and tormented... including the villains.
  • Never My Fault: Unlike the real Cosmos, she constantly refused to acknowledge it was her actions and personality that drove Discord away from her, and in facted doubled down when finally faced with the truth. This later backfires on her — her attempt to usurp Fluttershy as Discord's lover by devouring/assimilating her led to the birth of Flutterfinity, due to Fluttershy being her complete antithesis.
  • No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Thanks to Flutterfinity, she is transformed back into the Draconequus she was before her mad rampage... and shortly finds herself at the mercy of all the people she tortured, corrupted, devoured, and assimilated during said rampage.
  • Not Good with Rejection: After violating and assimilating the entire universe to earn Discord's affections, she does not take it well when Discord finally reveals his true feelings and tells her off. First, she does something that made Discord claw out his own eyes. Then she tries to devour and assimilate Fluttershy so she can become her, leaving Discord with no choice but to love her. This backfires horribly as Fluttershy proved to be so fundementally different from her that Flutterfinity was born instead.
  • Yandere: Deconstructed, as she's essentially what happens when her psychotic obsession with Discord is taken to its logical extremes. All the things she did, including horrifically violating and assimilating the entire universe to the point of becoming it, was out of a single-minded desire to earn Discord's affection. This made her completely unable to figure out why Discord still chooses Fluttershy over her, and unwilling to accept that it was her own actions and behavior that drove Discord away. It also later drove her to try assimilate Fluttershy so she could "become" her and take Fluttershy's place as Discord's lover after Discord "breaks up" (i.e. tells her off) with her... which backfires on her in a huge way as Fluttershy is instead transformed into Flutterfinity due to being her complete antithesis, while she is reduced to a helpless prisoner within Flutterfinity's "body".

    The Mane Six (Cosmic Cataclysm)

  • Adaptational Wimp: In-Universe. The Mane Six are legendary Equestrian heroines and are either full-fledged goddesses, demigoddesses, or powerful mortals who are on their way to godhood. The Cosmic Cataclysm versions of the Mane Six all fell easily to Cosmos to make the latter look like a genuine threat.
  • Eaten Alive: Like everyone and everything else on Equus and in the universe, they were devoured and assimilated by the Cosmic Cataclysm version of Cosmos.
  • Posthumous Character: In-Universe, they all died by the time the events of Cosmic Cataclysm took place. While Flutterfinity does recreate them as Architects, it isn't really them as they're based on her memories of the actual Mane Six. Flutterfinity retconning the new universe for the old one brought them Back from the Dead.

    Blue Suede Heartstrings (Cosmic Cataclysm)

  • Adaptational Wimp: In-Universe. Blue Suede Heartstrings was the greatest musician of the Second Age, an Alicorn 'prodigy' who is presently one of the most powerful musical spellcasters in the world, and one of Mana Equus' reincarnation "aspects". The Cosmic Cataclysm version of him fell easily to Cosmos to make the latter look like a genuine threat.
  • Eaten Alive: Like everyone and everything else on Equus and in the universe, he was devoured and assimilated by CC!Cosmos.
  • Eldritch Abomination: He was created by Flutterfinity to be the Cosmic Sovereign of Music, "writing" all the melodies of the universe and performing them for all to hear. Considering the sheer age of the actual Cosmic Sovereigns, this means that the Cosmic Cataclysm version of Blue Suede is a very ancient and eldritch god.
  • Posthumous Character: In-Universe, he died by the time the events of Cosmic Cataclysm took place. While Flutterfinity does recreate him as a Cosmic Sovereign, it isn't really him as he is based on her memories of the actual Blue Suede. Flutterfinity retconning the new universe for the old one brought him Back from the Dead.

    Angel Bunny (Cosmic Cataclysm)

  • Eaten Alive: Like everyone and everything else on Equus and in the universe, he was devoured and assimilated by CC!Cosmos.
  • God of the Dead: He was created by Flutterfinity to be the new universe's first Death god, reaping the souls of those who died so new life would come into being.

Cruel Eyes Franchise

    Brutality, the Spirit of Carnage

Brutality (introduced in this drabble) is a Draconequus slasher and main villain of the Cruel Eyes movie franchise.

  • Arch-Enemy: She considers Comet Candle her nemesis. While the other Final Girls ruined her plans directly, Candle was the one who foiled the ritual to release her and left her trapped in a limbo where she was free enough to move around, but not claim more victims.
  • Big Bad: Brutality is the main antagonist of the Cruel Eyes movie franchise, though the first film saw her as the Greater-Scope Villain.
  • Dragged Off to Hell: After being killed by Comet Candle at the end of the fifth film, Obitus Equus drags her soul to Hell. Comically enough, while the actress obviously wasn't dragged off to Hell, it was the real Obitus who wanted to cameo due to liking the series.
  • Killed Off for Real: Comet Candle kills her at the end of the fifth film, and the creators chose to end the original series' timeline on that to avoid a Happy Ending Override.
  • Our Slashers Are Different: She's known as being an iconic Slasher Movie villain inuniverse, being a supernatural draconequus Serial Killer who takes her victims in many creative and sadistic ways.
  • Sealed Evil in a Can: She was imprisoned a long time ago and can only be released by a ritual in which a chosen victim has everyone they love killed one by one before being killed themselves. Comet Candle managed to foil the ritual in the first film, but it was still partially completed, allowing Brutality to escape her prison but not the area she was sealed in. It's not until the end of the fourth film she escapes completely.
  • To the Pain: After revealing she escaped to Comet Candle, she states she's going to take her sweet time killing her so she suffers first for leaving Brutality trapped in the area she was sealed in. Namely, by killing every single person in Comet's hometown. Fortunately, she doesn't succeed.

    Comet Candle

  • Final Girl: Comet Candle was the 'Final Filly' of the first Cruel Eyes film. She would resume this role for the final film and be the one to defeat Brutality once and for all.
