revised as per lexicon's suggesstion: Hunter of his partner's kind : As Phantom was originally Phan Phan a fairy companion to a Pretty cure Before Cure / Queen Mirage was corrupted by Red, this clearly counts before his Heel–Face Turn for his Mistress' sake.

I wondered why somethin' seemed off. It's like I'm listening to a recording of myself."... "Right down to not being able to mourn my folks when they died..."

I'll try this again. Hunter of His Own Kind should not be potholed to "Hunter of his partner's kind". The example needs to say what his own kind is and why he's hunting them. Not So Different needs to say how they seem so very different and what they find they actually have in common.

There's no point in correcting grammer problems unless you give full, relevant context in your examples, what you would actually be editing on the site.

No, what Lex means is what you type here should be in the same format as if you were editing on the wiki itself. Your last two entries above should look like this:

Kamen Rider Gaim

  • Foreshadowing: The Zangetsu - Baron gaiden movie, if watched after episode 20 (which is when the movie takes place in universe) gives a blink and you'll miss it shot of Kaito shifting into his Lord Baron form. Fitting as the Baron portion of this story solidifies Kaito's decision to tear apart the world he sees and create a world when the weak are not preyed upon.

A Different Kind of Truth

  • Wham Episode: Chapters 19 and 20, Achtung Baby Parts 4 and 5. After both Kanji and Gio's shadows have been revealed to be going after their non midnight channel selves. With the increasing competency of each successive shadow inside the TV world, and based on how much of a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass cannon shadow Kanji was, it seems that the IT will have their work cut out for them once they reach the bathing house dungeon.

for the following page:

Persona EG:

  • Big Bad: So far the unknown Persona user Eris seems to be this, though time will tell what her exact relationship with Zodiac and its murders is. It's revealed in the 2/28 chapter that eris is Fluttershy and she has been doing the things she has been out of fear of Sunset Shimmer who has complete control of Zodiac and the ability to kill as many people as she wants.
  • Bigger Bad: Mephistopheles, with all indicators pointing to Sunset Shimmer being their true identity
  • The Dreaded: Sunset Shimmer to Fluttershy as she has no desire to actively fight her directly.
  • Wham Episode: Where to begin?
    • How about the February 9 2016 episode? Sunset Shimmer sneaks into the dorm and rapes Flash.
    • February seems to have a penchant for this, as we find out the true identity of Eris in the 2/28/16 chapter.

Eddie Thwane is actually the White Sheep of the Thwane Clan.

During Grodd Lives, Harrison Wells/Eobard Thwane talks about how Eddie was the forgotten member of the family and how he would never amount to as much as his descendants.

But considering what Eobard is like and his family in the comics, it is equally likely that Eddie's respectable career as a detective is a disappointment simply because the rest of the family is made up of powerful Super-Villains, Corrupt Corporate Executives, and President Evil.

Can I ask for help with this entry?

Dying Town: Almost every location Kate travels through in the first game appears to be a half deserted town past its prime:

  • Valadilene was once world-famous for its automaton factory. Since then it seems to have fallen on hard times as the demand for Voralberg automatons decreased and many young people left the town to seek employment elsewhere. Many inhabitants fear that the dead of Anna Voralberg may mean the closedown of the factory and the ultimate end of the town.
  • Despite all its grandeur, there appears to be almost no students on the campus of Barrockstadt University. Local stationmaster admits that, while he still remembers days when students would come from all around the world to study in Barrockstadt, he hasn’t seen a train come to the station in a very long time.

Ghost Town: Komkolzgrad was once a Communist industrial complex, but has since been abandoned. The only people left are crazed director of the complex Siergiej Borodin and former astronout turned alkoholic Borys Charow.

Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy under Films-Live Action

  • My Girl gives us the boisterous, risk taker tomboy Vada who has an obsession with death and the nerdy Thomas J whose allergic to everything and scares easy.

Could you also include this trope on the film's page as well?

Allergic to everything and scares easy isn't feminine and when you write an example you need '' before and after the title and a space after the comma.

Question. Exactly how is being allergic to everything not considered femmy? The character I believe most certainly qualifies for not being stereotypically masculine. Does this pair at least qualify for the Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl trope?

Just another animation junkie

#2070: May 23rd 2015 at 5:17:10 PM

Allergies are a physical weakness. Weakness is no more feminine than ugliness is masculine. Not being stereotypically masculine does not make him feminine. Sensitive Guy and Manly Man describes it well. "He loves poetry, literature, art, and is generally more In Touch with His Feminine Side."

If you can describe how he's down to earth and she lively then they can count for Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl.

Ok,they fit the Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl trope due to Thomas J being more cautious and physically inept while Vada is more rambunctious and eccentric

I got one for the Eyeshield21 page:

  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: At the start of the second half during the Devil Bats vs Nagas game, Hiruma tells the other Devils Bats that they should avoid getting hurt because the chances of winning are less than 1%. This is subverted because he realized that the Nagas were leaving themselves open to an onside kick, and the only way to tell the others about the change in plan without ringing any warning bells was to tell them something he would never say and hope the others got the message.
  • Squishy Wizard: Yukimitsu, while not a magic user, is highly intelligent and can run the Option Route, which relies on quick thinking and observation. In the world of football, this makes him an incredibly adaptable player. However, his lack of physical training means that he can't take a hit and can't play as long as his teammates before needing to take a break.

((My thoughts is that since Yukimitsu isn't fast enough to be a Fragile Speedster, yet still possesses the devastating power/ability of a Fragile Speedster he is the closest thing the Devil Bats have to a Squishy Wizard. Thoughts?)

[up]For a single word that need to be a link to anywhere in Tv Tropes it has to have {{ and }} around the word in question. Also, you use [[ ]] for trope links. If you are linking a page that is not a trope (I.e. anything that should go in a Awesome Page or Literature Page) you need to have it in his format: (category)/(page name). You should get this:

Planetville: In Speaker for the Dead and its sequels, Migrlare counts as this for Lusitania. Starways Congress orders this in order to allow the natural development of the Pepinquinos. This goes on even after Jane deposes stairway rule on Lusitania.

Also, the Seven Days in Sunny June page had some serious errors in the Book III section, so I'm fixing that in addition to some additions. I just copied the entire section to make it easy.

    Book III
  • Affably Evil: Divine Right. He's a gentelman decended from royalty, polite, and wishes to take over the world because he believes it is his right to do so.
  • Behind the Black: The war between the Sirens and the Canadian government is what drives the Dazzlings to Canterlot.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Discord was just about to officially retire - in front of all of his fans and on TV when Fluttershy rushes on stage and convenes him not to.
    • Sonota also appears out of nowhere and gives Sharp Wind a curbstomp when Sharp Wind was just about to attack Twilight, Octavia, and Champagne.
  • Broken Pedestal: Crackle finds out about the Vibe, Suri, and Blueblood. She doesn't take it well.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: Cantana Blast gets to perform this on Assistant Director Far North of ARROWHEAD.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • Sweet Pea and Scootaloo's half sister reappear from Treasure.
  • Disappeared Dad: Fluttershy's. Little is known about him beyond the fact he left their family. He's later revealed to be Discord, Sunset's favorite musician.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Octavia feels jealous of Sunset being closer to Twilight, especially as Octavia had not believed Sunset when she said Twilight had problems. Since her subconscious referred to Sunset as "that newcomer", something Octavia herself doesn't believe she'd call Sunset, it remains to be seen whether it's a darker part of her mind or something else.
  • Happily Adopted: Sunset, if informally. It's made official as part of a birthday present to her.
  • Happily Married: Sombra and Chrysalis are married to each other. Considering that their relationship started with them having sex when with each other when Sombra was 15 and Chrysalis was 12, that's quite the achievement.
  • In the Blood: Divine Right, who as the descendant of Baldisare de Calvacanti believes that it is his heredity power to take over the world.
  • May–December Romance: Sable Loam is only momentarily shocked to learn that Celestia is 56 while he's 31. It doesn't phase him from saying he still wants to take her on a date the following weekend. For her part, Celestia seems eager to pursue a continued relationship as well, going so far as to refuse dessert the next day in the interest of keeping herself fit and attactive, much to Luna's shock as apparently Celestia has never skipped out on desert in her life.
    • Also, Luna's boyfriend Moonshadow is in his early-to-mid twenties while she's 52; his mother freaked out when she found out Luna was older than her.
    • To a lesser degree, Sombra and Chrysalis, considering he was 15 and she was 12 when they first had sex.
  • Mood Whiplash: The first chapter ends with someone using the Vibe from Book I to rape a young lady.
  • Multiversal Conqueror: What Divine Right wants to become
  • Not So Harmless: Divine Right appears to be an ameteur meddling in forces beyond his control but he also has actual magic
  • Overprotective Dad: Discord is starting to show shades of this when after he and Fluttershy make ammends. Thankfully he hasn't gone out of control.
  • Race Lift: Crackle is half-Chinese on her mother's side.
  • Related in the Adaptation: In addition to the characters mentioned earlier, Book III has the following additions:
    • Coco Pommel as the younger sister of Fancy Pants.
    • DISCORD of all people is Fluttershy and Angel's Disappeared Dad.
    • Tirek is Fluttershy's godfather.
  • Sanity Slippage: Octavia suffers from this, which culminates in her killing an owl which Twilight takes care of.
  • Sympathetic P.O.V.: While the SIRENS in Canterlot appear in a better light than SCARS, some of the other members perform some questionable actions.
  • Teleport Spam: At one point, Sunset casually suggests that she take Rainbow and AJ to lunch six hundred miles south in Los Angeles via repeated chain teleport. While impressed, Rainbow reminds her friend of the consequences of that if anyone found out.
  • Unexpected Character: As lampshaded by the author, Adagio Dazzle showing up (with hints of the other Dazzlings appearing as well) was highly unexpected.
    • The actual human Sunset Shimmer appears in the final chapter

— UNMARKED SPOILERS WARRING

Also the character page for Seven Days in Sunny June needs work. Here is what I got so far.

     The Eightmazing Eight

Sunset Shimmer

The former Fallen Princess of Canterlot High School, whose life changes drastically when she's adopted.

  • The Atoner: After the Fall Formal, Sunset tries to dedeem herself. Noone believes her except her friends until she helps foil The Club's evil plans.
  • Bad Ass Boast: Gives the following to Vinyl Scratch:
—-> “I’m not done yet,” Sunset said, lowering the second finger. “Then, there’s Option Two: If you so much as touch her, I will introduce you to the fucking wrath of a Goddamn pissed-off-as-Tartarus alicorn.'' Your ass is going to be Discord and I’m going to be all six fucking Elements of Harmony.  I’m going to rampage on you like the Princess did against the Minotaur Invasion of 957.  I WILL BREAK YOU LIKE SHE BROKE THE ENTIRE CHANGELING ARMY AT SADDLEBACK RIDGE, AND I WON’T FEEL AN OUNCE OF REMORSE DOING IT, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!?”
  • Berserk Button: Hurt Twilight? Better start running because Sunset will go to the ends of the Earth to find you.
  • Big Eater: Due to being a equine, Sunset can comfortably eat more than a normal human. In one case she eats a XXXL Fatburger, fries, and large caramel shake in a single sitting.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Anyone who tries to hurt Twilight triggers Sunset's Big Sister Instinct.
  • Be All My Sins Remembered: Her past haunts her at first but goes away once she becomes intertwined with her family.
  • Cassandra Truth: Sunset occasionally states how old she really is (mid-thirties), her true species, and the fact she has magic. This is usually brushed off as nonsense by those not in the know.
  • Character Development: In regards to her foster family, Sunset is rather aloof with them. Over time, she quickly grows very close to them, especially Twilight and Octavia.
  • Culture Blind: Due to Sunset growing up in Equestria, many of the references to pop culture go over her head.
  • Determinator: Sunset does not give up when it comes to someone she cares about.
  • Epic Fail: Sunset shouts her Badass Boast at Vinyl when she's confronts her during the end of the Vibe Arc. Vinyl has no idea what Sunset is talking about.
    • Sunset gives the same boast to Raspberry Beryl in Book II. She also has no idea what Sunset is talking about, and Raspberry is a native Equestrian.
  • Happily Adopted: Well, happily fostered, at any rate. Whether she'll be actually adopted is still a mystery.
    • In Book III, [spoiler: the Sparkles reveal that they're officially adopting her. Sunset is overjoyed.
  • Going Native: Sunset identifies herself more as a human rather than a pony, to the point that Princess Luna cannot enter her dreams as her mentality is more of a human's rather than a pony's.
  • Identical Stranger: Sunset and Raspberry Beryl look similar apart from color schemes and cutie marks.
    • Book III's ending has the human Sunset Shimmer prepare to visit Equestria County. Thus both Sunset's have an Identical Stranger.
  • Mid-Season Upgrade: Just before she leaves Equestria at the end of Book II, Princess Celestia removes the Power Limiter spell she put on Sunset, allowing Sunset to access all of her magic.
  • Oh, Crap!: After Shining Armor takes her to the Sparkle household, Sunset has a Oh, Crap! moment when Velvet reveals that Principal Celestia is a family friend.
  • Power Limiter: When Sunset became Celestia's student, Celestia put a power limiter spell on Sunset to help her studies in magic. When Sunset ran away, the Power Limiter never got removed. At the end of Book II, Princess Celestia removes the spell so Sunset has her full, true power back and can perform much more powerful spells on Earth.
  • Race Lift: Sunset is apparently Caucasian in the 7DSJverse.
  • Reformed, but Rejected: At first, becoming The Atoner to make up for all she's done. After the incident with the Vibe she regains her position atop the school, but this time as a Lovable Alpha Bitch instead of just a regular one.
  • Seer: Sunset can perform simple divinations. This is how she was able to catch up on current events in Equestria.
  • Teleport Spam: Thanks to her power up at the end of Book II, Sunset has enough magical power to teleport from Canterlot to Los Angeles, which is several hundred miles. The catch is she needs to spam teleport spells and rest about 10-15 minutes in between teleports.

Fluttershy

  • Disappeared Dad: Her father is nowhere to be seen.
    • The reason is that her father is Discord, whom is a famous rock star. She resents him for this choice until she realizes that she's the issue, not him.
  • Heel Realization: Realizes that she wasn't letting her father repair their relationship, and was able to save his career just in time.
  • Race Lift: A quarter Japanese.
  • Related in the Adaptation: Angel is Fluttershy's brother, Posey her mother, Discord is her father, and Tirek is her godfather.

Rainbow Dash

  • Famous Ancestor: Rainbow Dash is descended from Commander Hurricane, who was a World War II posthumous Medal of Honor awardee.
  • Race Lift: Rainbow is Hispanic in this fic.

Twilight Sparkle

  • Brainwashed: Briefly was affected by Vibe.
  • Driven to Suicide: Due to Raspberry Beryl botching a spell in Equestria, Twilight was afflicted with never-ending Nightmares and tried to kill herself several times.
  • No Social Skills: Twilight has almost none of these, especially when it comes to affectionate displays with her "sisters" - to the point that it becomes Incest Subtext

Octavia Melody

  • Aluminum Christmas Trees: Octavia's genetic chimeraism is Truth in Television and is a real genetic condition.
  • Brainwashed: Briefly was affected by Vibe.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: Octavia feels jealous of Sunset being closer to Twilight, especially as Octavia had not believed Sunset when she said Twilight had problems. [[spoiler: Since her subconscious referred to Sunset as "that newcomer", something Octavia herself doesn't believe she'd call Sunset, it remains to be seen whether it's a darker part of her mind or something else.
  • Only Sane Man: Octavia refuses to get involved in the family drama caused by Ballad's mother.
  • Sanity Slippage: Octavia has started to think hateful thoughts towards Sunset Shimmer and how Twilight has gotten closer to Sunset rather than herself. She is understandibly worried about the thoughts.
  • No Social Skills: While not as bad as Twilight, Octavia does lack them.

     The Club

Flash Sentry

Blueblood

Vinyl Scratch

  • My God, What Have I Done?: Thanks to Cloud Kicker's timely intervention, Vinyl Scratch has one of these moments and surrenders during Sunset's rescue of Octaiva.
  • Scylla and Charybdis: Vinyl either could use the Vibe on Octavia, or have her parents find out she is a lesbian.
    • She ultimately chooses to have her secret revealed. It goes over like a lead balloon.

     The Sparkle Family

Twilight Velvet

Night Light

Shining Armor

Spike

  • Multiversal Conqueror: What he wants to be once he gets Earth under his control.
  • Not So Harmless: At first, he seems to be a wannabe villain who has delusions of grandure. Later on in Book III he finds the assistant director of ARROWHEAD so Cantana Blast can torture him, followed by tricking Piano Bliss into drinking a potion that will transform her into an inhuman monster.
  • Orcus on His Throne: He's the main villain of the story, but spends a lot of time preparing for the war he wants to start. J
