Overdeities

    Lucy Miller
Lucy Miller*, Goddess of Higher Understanding Through Drugs
https://mediaproxy.tvtropes.org/width/1000/https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lucy_01.jpg
  • Overdeity
  • Symbol: A suitcase full of CP34
  • Theme Music: Sister Rust
  • Alignment: True Neutral with elements of Knight Templar mixed in
  • Portfolio: Capable Of Using More Than 90 Percent Of Her Brain After Using Powerful Drugs, Sees Herself As Above Good and Evil, Action Girl, Transcended Her Humanity, Both An Invincible and Sociopathic Heroine, Humanoid Abomination, The Comically Serious, Deadly Upgrade, Dull Surprise, Enlightenment Superpowers
  • Domains: Drugs, Willpower
  • High Priests: Eddie Morra and Jesse Custer
  • Odd Friendship: Sherlock Holmes, Black Widow, Motoko Kusanagi, Leeloo
  • Allies: For Lucy, it varies.
  • Opposed By: YHVH, Superman, Batman, and Darkseid
  • Enemies: Travis Bickle and any and all taxi drivers, both on the mortal plane and the Pantheon (especially non-speaking English ones), Albert Wesker, Alex Wesker, Alexia Ashford, Victor Von Doom, Doc Scratch, Mr. Shadow
  • "I AM EVERYWHERE." This is the message in which every single cellphone and computer screen read. Then...she came. Out in front of the House of Knowledge, a dark, bubbling mass appeared. The mass then grew, taking shape, until it's form was that of a woman with dirty blond hair and clad in a slinky black dress, with a pair of expensive pumps completing the outfit. Lucy has arrived, having quite literally ascended to the Pantheon.
  • Before shedding her mortal coil (quite literally!), Lucy was a student studying overseas in Taiwan. Then her boyfriend was killed and she was made to be a drug mule for the powerful synthetic drug known as CP34. Her path to godhood begun when one of the packets ruptured, releasing a massive dose of the drug into her bloodstream. End result? She developed various pre-coded abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, mental time travel, and the ability not to feel any discomfort, such as pain.
  • Due to her unique status of actually knowing everything, every single deity in the Pantheon are getting rather annoyed by her 'Do-as-I-say-because-I-know-everything' attitude. Not like Lucy didn't want to know everything, but that's the hand dealt to her.
    • Of course, every once in a while, whenever Lucy tends to rub the deities the wrong way, Batman and Captain America smack Lucy with a couple of Nerf bats, telling her while this is indeed the Pantheon, 'this is not her world.'
  • Lucy is also the only Goddess in the entire Pantheon that could (and would) get away with just about anything, and no one could stop her. Of course, while the Main House can't do anything about her status, they have set in place a couple of failsafes to keep her (and her steadily-growing powers) in check.
  • As for the drug known as CP34, it has been decided by the higher ups that one packet shall be locked away inside the Vault for safekeeping, while the others shall be destroyed. Lucy will be the only deity who will ascend through this drug.
  • The deified members from the Marvel Universe note Lucy's uncanny resemblance to Black Widow. Of course, this doesn't stop Lucy from taking on Widow's likeness for her own amusement. While Widow is not amused, she is (somewhat) friends with Lucy.
    • Lucy also grew a relationship with Motoko Kusanagi, having impersonated her under the alias Mira Killan and using her technopathy to aid the Major's cyborg body.
  • While Lucy is one if the smartest in the Pantheon, there are those in the Pantheon that are smarter than her. As Tony Stark once said, " Everything special about her came from that drug."
  • Albert and Alex Wesker are leading the charge in their attempts to use Lucy to further their research. While the packets of CP34 are out of their reach, the Weskers both believe that the secret lies within Lucy's blood. Once they unlock the secrets, then they can get their revenge on the Redfield siblings for ruining their plans.
  • Travis Bickle, the Patron of Taxi Drivers, hates Lucy due to her treatment of his fellow cab drivers back when she was a mortal. Granted that she was on the road to godhood, but still...
  • Due to shared origins, has gotten along with Leeloo, and is always willing to give some protection to Leon and Mathilda. While Lucy knows that as powerful as she is there is no way she could take on Leeloo's "nemesis" Mr. Shadow on her own, she won't back down on joining the fight against him - her brain improvement led to detachment that deems concepts such as "Evil" to be meaningless, but there's no way Lucy can let literal world-destroying forces go by unchecked.

Lesser Gods

    Nitrus Brio
Doctor Nitrus Brio, God of Serums with Bad Side Effects (N. Brio)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/brio_6.png
  • Lesser God (Intermediate God if transformed)
  • Symbol: His head as a skull
  • Theme Music: his boss fight theme (Pre-Console Mix, Japanese version (and ITS Pre-Console Mix), N. Sane Remix), his bonus round music, his hologram music, Trouble Brewing, his theme from Crash: On the Run!
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil, sometimes Chaotic Neutral
  • Portfolio: Bald of Evil, Big Ol' Eyebrows, The Dragon, Evilutionary Biologist, Giggling Villain, Hulking Out, Hypercompetent Sidekick, The original lab assistant of Cortex, Mad Scientist, Power-Upgrading Deformation, N. Brio
  • Domains: Science, Experiments, Evolution, Ray guns, Potions, Transformations, Explosions
  • Allies: Ripper Roo, Frankenstein's Monster, Mesogog, Dr. Robotnik
  • Rivals: The Brain
  • Enemies: Crash Bandicoot, Aku Aku, Coco Bandicoot (Sometimes allies), The House of Beasts and Fauna, Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Neo Cortex, Uka Uka
  • Commonality Connection: Bruce Banner
  • Odd Friendship: Moe Szyslak and other bartenders
  • Dr. Nitrus Brio was originally a scientist that joined his partner Dr. Neo Cortex in his plot for world domination. He was the one that created the Evolvo-Ray that has transformed all of the animals of the series, including the titular hero Crash Bandicoot. In his fight with Crash Brio drank a chemical that turned him into a green monstrosity but thankfully he was defeated by Crash. Brio later decided to ditch Cortex given how he took credit for his creations and also mistreated him, with his alignment somewhat flunctuating between evil or neutral depending how he feels like.
  • Brio's alignment is a little complicated to narrow. Originally following the plans of Cortex would label him as evil but after Cortex failed and tried to use the Cortex Vortex on planet Earth, Brio sided with Crash and offered to blow it up, probably just to spite him. It's no secret that both doctors aren't in the best of terms at the moment, but if there is a common goal among the two, they are willing to put aside their differences and work together.
  • Of his minions, only Ripper Roo was present. He sees that Roo now behaves much better than his usual insane self and has tried to persuade him to stop getting near the TNT and Nitro crates to no avail. He is also a little mad that Tiny Tiger switched to Cortex side.
  • The Hulk has some form of respect on Brio given how he was able to revert from his monstrous form. Although he sometimes does transform depending his mood. Like the time he reminded everyone that he... was in the FIRST...GAME!
  • Sometimes sounds eerily similar to The Brain, although he acts more like his sidekick Pinky instead. Brio considers him a rival, although many would agree that the Brain isn't as threatening as the doctor, plus he already has dealt with evolved animals before.
  • Claims to have invented everything in existence. Except Lite-Brite. Burt Meyer did that.
  • Apparently his original dream was to become a bartender, which would explain why he constantly likes to mix his chemicals all the time. He even likes to hang out with the bartenders, particularly Moe, and even help them tend bars when he is off-duty. Of course, we advice not drinking anything from his chemicals unless you want to become a hulking monster.
  • He seems to strangely get along with Frankenstein's monster, given the little bolts he has in his head resemble the ones of the monster. The reason he wasn't probably attacked by it is maybe that he also was a monster once and he has actually treated him nicely.
  • While he might not be aligned with Cortex at the moment, he still uses evolved animals as minions, something that the House of Beasts and Fauna is disgusted by. He also is pretty chummy with both Mesogog and Robotnik. Although he considers the former's idea of going back to the prehistoric days to be a little too much for him.
  • Yes, he is aware that his name sounds like a fetus and would like that you don't make fun of it.

    Snowflame
Snowflame, God of Power By Addiction (The Man Powered By Cocaine, White-Hot Ecstasy, The Cocaine Powered Supervillain, The God of Cocaine, The Blow-Fueled Supervillain, The Human Instrument of [Cocaine's] Will, A True God, The Snuff-Slinger)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/1736155_snowflame.jpg
  • Lesser God (possibly stronger while 'chasing the dragon')
  • Symbol: A white flame (alternatively, lines of powdered cocaine spelling out his name)
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Portfolio: Crazy Is Cool Villains, Powered by Cocaine, Ensemble Dark Horse, One-Scene Wonder, Rooting for the Empire, A God Am I, Meant To Prove The Evils Of Drugs But Became A Beloved Villain, Returned To The DC Rebirth
  • Domains: Cocaine, Supervillains, Addiction, Being Over The Top
  • Allies: Tony Montana, Rick Sanchez, Jabba the Hutt
  • On good terms with: Officers Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski
  • Headbutting Villains with: Diavolo
  • Rivals: The Galactic Federation, Walter White
  • On speaking terms with: Linkara
  • Enemies: Many DC heroes, CM Punk, Nicholas St. North and Santa Claus, Giorno Giovanna and his friends, Alex J Murphy/RoboCop, Clancy Wiggum, Linka
  • Opposes: The House of Ice and Cold
  • Opposed by: The House of Law and Justice
  • Being literally powered by drugs, Snowflame gains immense strength and the ability to shoot white flames after inhaling cocaine. He's in possession out of an entire hill made out of pure cocaine as well as an entire farm of coke in his domain, and whenever there is a party at the Pantheon, many party-goers will flock to Snowflame for his newest shipment.
    • Claims he is no god, but the instrument of the true god's will; cocaine!
  • He was meant to prove that Drugs Are Bad, being a cocaine powered supervillain. However this backfired as he's seen as a crazy and badass supervillain. CIA man Stan Smith finds this outrageous and has put him on America's Most Wanted list. Snowflame thinks he's being hypocritical because of the time he got addicted to cocaine, but Stan says that's the very reason he's passionate about stopping him. Of course, the actual lesson he got from his stint with cocaine addiction was really "it's OK to accept other people's help".
  • Rick is a regular visitor of Snowflame's parties. Sure, Rick is amoral and not evil, but he's quite the addict and loves getting blitzed with him. Learning some more about Rick got Snowflame worried about the Galactic Federation and their drug-based government; he thinks they will replace his cocaine with their drugs. Snowflame was inspired by them, however, and wants to be a cocaine drug dealer across the galaxy! Jabba the Hutt took interest of him and is helping make his dreams come true.
  • Snowflame is a regular within the House of Crime and Transgressions, which he feels is his true home. He is the main dealer of cocaine in the pantheon, however he is not the biggest drug in the pantheon. He'd certainly like to, and one of his main competitors is meth dealer Walter White. The man powered by cocaine makes lengthy arguments on why cocaine is a better drug than meth. The Man Who Knocks ignores him, claiming "how am I supposed to take him seriously?!"
  • Snowflame's return to the pantheon proved bothersome for the House of Justice, who thought they'd seen the last of him and his drug cartel. Unlike some drug dealers, Snowflame knows how to fight and if his men can't shoot them down he dares them to fight him man on man. Knowing this, RoboCop was sent to tackle him and managed to best and apprehend the cocaine-powered supervillain. He took this in surprising stride, jesting "well, at least you pigs know how to fight".
  • RoboCop wasn't the first officer sent up against Snowflame. Clancy Wiggum was sent first, however Snowflame knew he was an idiot so made up a lie and said "oh no, this isn't cocaine. It's sugar. For...donuts. Yes". He then bribed him with actual donuts to get off his tale. Everybody facepalmed at this. Wiggum was enraged because his idiocy was pointed out.
    • While not liked by the House of Justice, Officers Tenpenny and Pulaski have made underhanded deals to help their house not bother him as much so long as they get a cut of his profits.
  • As a proud drug dealer Giorno Giovanna and his allies oppose him out of moral reasons, to which Snowflame protests with "but cocaine is awesome, why not make money out of it!" To his credit his drug cartel hasn't been seen selling drugs to children. Snowflame is still willing to work with Diavolo to deal drugs, with his flamboyancy distracting people from seeing him, but Snowflame refuses any deal involving children. And he doesn't like how Diavolo decided to kill his daughter out of paranoia. But money's still money.
  • Has a tendency to run outside whenever it is snowing, since he mistakes it for cocaine. Of course, this is to be blamed on his addiction. He has found the Ice and Cold sub-house to be immensely disappointing.
  • When he got coal from Santa Claus because of his supervillainy, Snowflame came to an addled conclusion; how does Santa afford his enterprise? Cocaine dealing! And how does he hide it? The snow in the North Pole! He invaded the North Pole for just that, and soon whimpered back with frostbite and ass-whooping from the two Santas. He's learned his lesson enough to not try and invade Neptune's North Pole.
  • Those who don't like drug dealers and drugs as a whole oppose Snowflame, and aren't happy that he makes it look stylish. CM Punk, representing the straight edge, is one of his more vocal opponents. Snowflame's response is "I can't hear you, I'm rocking out with my favorite partner in crime; Tony Montana!" and they coated themselves in their own cocaine.
  • HE IS A MAN! (* punch* ), and often bums around in Linkara's apartment. A bit annoying, but Linkara thinks he's pretty cool and tolerates this to some extent. He ended up having a webcomic about himself where he survived his conflict with the New Guardians. At least, that's what everyone thought. Turns out he faked his death, and used to be an acquaintance of Selina Kyle before becoming an Anti-Hero. He's remodeled with a more 80s Miami Vice costume.
  • Being Addiction-Powered, one might think that he might want to work with Slaanesh. It might even explain how drugs can empower him. But when seeing the extent of She Who Thirsts?
Snowflame: "No...just no. I wondered if there were drugs even I dare not sell. Well, now I have my answer.
  • As audaciously cool as Snowflame is and the fact he's demonstrated standards in the pantheon, he is still a drug dealer and many deities consider that offensive by default. Out of the heroes and anti-heroes of the DC Universe, Jason Todd takes particular offense to his return. Linka hates Snowflame as well, as a cousin of hers died as a result of drugs and she struggled with being an addict.

Demigods

    Ash Lynx & Eiji Okumura
Aslan Jade Callenreese & Eiji Okumura, Divine Unravelers of Fantastic Drugs (Ash: Ash Lynx, Ashu, The Devil, Christopher Winston | Eiji: Ei-chan, Samurai Boy)

  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Vito & Michael Corleone
  • Opposes: Amane Nishiki, Jack Skellington (Ash)
  • Conflicting Opinion: Kiara Sesshouin
  • Gang leader Ash Lynx was out on the streets one night, when a dying man drops dead in front of him and speaks of an address and a "Banana Fish". As he was trying to figure it out, a Japanese boy named Eiji Okumura visits his place one day and after escaping an assault by the men of his boss, Dino Golzine, Ash sets out to solve the mystery of the "Banana Fish". Along the way, he lost those he held dear like his best friends Shorter Wong and Skip and his brother Griffin Callenreese and as he grew closer to Eiji, the more he has to lose as his enemies began to threaten Eiji's safety. It turns out that the "Banana Fish" is a mind control drug that can render someone into a vegetative state with some violent outbursts and Golzine plans to use it to control the U.S. government from within.
    • It all comes to a head when Ash's fellow gang members and Max Lobo were captured in the National Institute of Mental Health and Ash stages an assault with capturing Golzine as a hostage where the hired mercenary Colonel Edward L. Fox had his own plans of using the "Banana Fish". Fox is eventually defeated and the "Banana Fish" and its data is unfortunately lost but Ash and his allies managed to already digged up dirt on Golzine's associates beforehand which can snowball from a scandal into exposing Golzine's conspiracy and allies, ending his shadow reign for good. But as everything is coming back to normal, Ash got stabbed by one of Sing Soo-Ling's former fellow gang member and succumbed to his fatal wound at the New York Public Library after reading Eiji's letter to him. Years later, Eiji became aware of Ash's death and mourned to the point that he would never marry anyone else. Eiji later recounts his memories to Akira Ibe, Shunichi's niece and told her about a blonde boy he had met during his trip to America.
  • Eiji was in his cabin one day when he received a letter; he opens it and it says that he's been invited to the Trope Pantheons for a pending title. As he began to wonder to himself what is the letter talking about, a light shines in one of his room's doors and he began to open it. Meanwhile, Ash wakes up in the now empty New York Library with his fatal stab wound miraculously gone and his letter from Eiji in hand, when the doorway is suddenly bathed in a bastion of light. He goes to approached it closely and... found himself in a courtroom but it's not just any courtroom, it's one that feels like a Senate courtroom; there, Eiji also walked into the courtroom and immediately glomped onto the floor, ecstatic to see Ash alive again which warmed some jurors' hearts because of what they had gone through before.
    • After the tender moment, The Judge clears the air and announces to them that they are pending for the title of Divine Unravelers of Fantastic Drugs as their story is about the mystery of the Banana Fish drug and preventing its future exploitation against America's political system. Even though that journey brought them nothing but pain and heartbreak, they decided to accept the title regardless if it means seeing each other again and so, their new position is cemented. The Judge does warn Ash that because he's dead, he cannot return to his world again to see Eiji, but the latter's okay with it because he wanted to be free of his past anyways.
    • As they are allowed to have people they know as Heralds, the boys did not hesitate in their choices: the journalist Max Lobo who has been researching Banana Fish for years and is close to Ash's brother Griffin, Shunichi Ibe who brought Eiji to America, Ash's notable men Alex, Bones, Skipper and Kong, the gang leaders Sing Soo-Ling and Cain Blood and finally, Shorter Wong. All of them are happy to see the boys again, especially towards Ash since he died last they heard of him but Ash brushed them aside as he proclaims he's in a better place than the America he knows. But Ash and Eiji had a heartfelt reunion with Shorter, considering that Shorter got experimented on to test the Banana Fish's effects and was forcibly shot by Ash partly to break his spirit as well as giving Eiji a hard time losing a fast friend, but Shorter says that he's fine and dandy now that his body is just like before; it still gives him an ire towards mind control drugs from now on. As usual, they are welcome to enter and leave the Pantheons if they want but in Shorter's and Skip's case, they'll have to hold the fort of Ash and Eiji's temple instead since they passed on.
  • Among the first allies they have made are Saber AKA King Artoria Pendragon, Sakura Matou and her sister Rin Tohsaka when the three saved the boys from the Archer Servant Gilgamesh one night. Saber relates to Ash in being psychologically trapped in their own way, with Saber struggling to be the perfect king and Ash getting by while being under the hands of Golzine and both found people who accepts them as they truly are and freed them from whatever's trapping them; Saber is glad that Ash is able to pull himself from his hellish life and Ash at first couldn't believe that King Arthur could be a woman in one universe but comes to slowly accept it (more so when the actual King Arthur is also around) and is glad Saber eventually got to be herself with no expectations on her shoulders.
    • Sakura also relates to Ash in the sense that both had survived horrifying sexual abuse at a young age and finally gave retribution to their abusers in their own way and Ash became angered when he heard Sakura is only used to bring about a living mass of destruction to the world which is a far cry from him being groomed to be Golzine's successor. Sakura, along with Rin find it amusing that Ash began to fall for Eiji the same way they fell for Shirou; through separate instances of them pole vaulting for different reasons (Shirou to keep up his spirit and Eiji to get out of the troubling situation and call for help) on top of both boys being gentle, caring and at times, reckless on their own. As such, the three girls praised Eiji for being there by Ash's side which he humbly took in stride and they're reminded of Shirou's own mild manners from that reaction.
    • Another couple that are able to relate to the boys are Shiki Ryougi and her husband Mikiya Kokutou, with Ryougi also being a someone who distrust other people and only knows killing for the majority of her life like Ash and the gentle Mikiya being the one to redeem her like what Eiji did. Ryougi finds it disheartening that Ash basically was pushed into killing because of the abuse he suffers and fending off the other gangsters from Golzine's turf unlike her who was born into a Yakuza clan; now that she's eventually that clan's head despite hating the grooming, she's glad that Ash overcame his dark destiny of becoming the Corsican Mafia's don and he likewise is looking forward to a smooth, professional relationship with her and her clan. Meanwhile, Mikiya and Eiji talked and expectedly got along well with Mikiya being saddened that Eiji couldn't compete in competitive pole-vaulting anymore but the latter wouldn't want to worry about it as he feels he wouldn't make it anyways and plus, Ash had lighten up his life in a way that no one else can.
      • Ryougi's junior in magical eyes that let you see people's death lines, Shiki Tohno also managed to get on the boys' good graces as he also had a very rough past minus the sexual abuse that led to a lot of identity dissonance, yet he's also able to be there for five girls and their own set of problems; basically, he's kind of like a combo of the boys with his own twist. Ash is a little weirded out that Tohno often sounded like Eiji at times but he later got used to it as he hangs out with him more.
    • At Saber and Rin's warnings, Ash and Eiji sees Gilgamesh, Shinji Matou, Gilles de Rais & Ryunnosuke Uryuu as enemies. Gilgamesh striked at them previously because they had witnessed him murdering someone for a slight and the boys couldn't help but be reminded of Frederick Arthur, a gangster who became subservient to Golzine just to have a chance at being superior to Ash and their arrogance and wickedness is comparable. They heard that Shinji was complicit in his abuse against Sakura and when Ash first tracked down Shinji, it was to shoot him point blank for that. Gilles and Ryuunosuke don't find the boys to fit their MO, but they do find Ash to be a hindrance should he begin to hunt them down. Out of all of them, Shinji expressed an interest in the Banana Fish since with it, he can drug anyone he wants so that they can do whatever he pleases though luckily, Ash and Eiji refuses to let that happen.
  • While on a night out, Ash and Eiji found a bar called "Seventh Heaven" which made Ash curious, thinking it might be the base of another gang so he and Eiji decided to investigate even though Eiji feels Ash should lighten up in his assumptions. When they got to the countertop, they noticed a blonde man and a brunette woman chatting with the woman being the bartender and Ash orders himself a cocktail as he asks them questions about them. When said questions get too touchy enough to start a fight, Eiji had to ease the tension and explained the real reason they're here, finally getting them to lower their weapons.
    • The woman then properly introduced herself as Tifa Lockhart and the man as Cloud Strife so as to smoothen the atmosphere; she answers the question that they're not part of a gang, but an eco-terrorist group called AVALANCHE though Cloud was a mercenary hired by them to help them. They had good reason for their agenda as the Shinra Electric Power Company was planning to drain their world's lifeblood as an energy source for profit which reminded Ash and Eiji of Golzine attempting to use the Banana Fish to control the most powerful political figures for power; sure, the latter doesn't really have a world threat but it's a big enough deal. On a personal level, Cloud and Tifa found the boys to be similar to them: broody blondes with gentle brunettes to comfort them. Aside from Cloud and Ash clashing at times which is probably caused by them being too similar, the former and Tifa are willing to defend them should any threat they faced proved too fantastically powerful.
    • As they heard from Cloud and Tifa, their enemy Professor Hojo is Shinra's mad head scientist who had used his own family in order to revive the evil goddess Jenova and is responsible for his son Sephiroth's upbringing. Ash is grimly reminded of Dr. Mannerheim, a scientist at NIMH who is interested in the Banana Fish's effects and refining it into a powerful drug capable of turning people incapable of functioning normally, without any care of the fate of the subjects and he already feels like he wants to kill Hojo before he even gets his hand on Banana Fish. The drug's existence did intrigue Hojo, as he finds it use in making his to-be subjects incapacitated and easy to follow orders, closer to his goal of awakening Jenova and if Ash ever intervenes, Hojo will make sure he'll suffer even more.
  • When the boys first met the heroes Spider-Man and Batman, they couldn't believe their eyes as they had always thought of them as fictional until that moment to which both replied that it is to be expected of a place capable of bringing in both heroes and villains regardless if they are fictional or not. As they hear more of the boys' experience, the two heroes are alarmed that such a dangerous drug have been made and many bad people seek to use it for their own gain and Spidey is bummed that it happened in New York (an alternate one, but still); as such, they agreed to look out for the drug and Batman will prepare contingency plans should anyone get their hands on even a vial.
  • As they have been involved in the crime world for a while now with Ash even more so, he and Eiji had some run-ins with the Pantheons' criminal lords and one particular thief. After overcoming the evil Cioccolatta, Ash and Eiji were saved by Giorno Giovanna and Bruno Bucciarati, gangsters from Italy who were superpowered like Cioccolatta only that they sworn to protect the weak instead; the boys are grateful for their help and in turn, Giorno, Bucciarati and their friends join in defending them against the fantastical enemies of the Pantheon. The said thief, Omar Little is also happy to help the boys after he hears out their story, and he decides to keep on helping so that no other innocent would go through what Ash did. And finally the aforementioned criminal lords like Mr. X and Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk also sees Ash as a possible hindrance to their respective schemes and even more so when they learn of the digging he and his allies had done against Golzine and his overseas scheme. Vito and Michael Corleone however, is willing to aid Ash and Eiji against preventing the Banana Fish's circulation, as Vito finds it disappointing that most mafias, including Golzine's would stoop so low to sell drugs for money; Ash and Eiji would've liked Michael better had he actually put in the effort in staying away from the business and Michael likewise was jealous that someone broken like Ash actually did so by connecting with someone who actually reached his heart unlike him who constantly pushed away his wife by keeping his crimes a secret.
    • To say that the Slavers being one of their most despised enemies is an Understatement. With crimes of human trafficking and prostitution along with being violent and heartless people overall, Eiji is horrified that such heartless criminals exist and Ash is already gaining a need to kill them slowly and painfully as he had gone through mind-breaking child prostitution by force. The Bulats and Vera are also looking out for Ash and his deadly skills in guns and leadership, even discarding the idea of enslaving him as he would be even more pissed if they did so. Meanwhile, the Son is a drug dealer who eventually got high from his supply and started to slaughter his own men and the Fans in a frenzy before falling to his death from his HQ's rooftop, thinking he's walking on a rainbow bridge. The drug he deals are extremely potent to the point of Mushroom Samba levels, making anyone high with it seeing others as demon and brutish monsters and the Son even saw the Fans as actual animals at one point. Hearing what his drugs are, their effects and similarities to the Banana Fish, Ash and Eiji are quick to declare him an enemy as his delirious rampage is sufficient evidence that his drug shouldn't be widespread to potential victims while the Son himself has some respect towards Ash for being a good leader to his own men.
    • The boys had several run-ins with the Lee Clan, a clan of Chinese triads responsible for bringing Shorter, Sing and the other Chinese into America illegally in exchange for their loyalty and their eventual leader, Lee Yut-Lung who is in many ways a Foil to them. This got them in contact with the Pantheons' currently ascended triad members, Wei Shen and Huang Lee; Wei got along with them better as he is fundamentally good-hearted while still being very harsh in his methods and despite being a cop, he eventually became loyal to the Sun On Yee after spending enough time with the gang. When Wei heard of the Banana Fish fiasco, he's angered that such a thing could happen and he decided to help them should the drug come to the Pantheons; Ash accepts his help, mostly because he likes Wei's attitude towards his enemies and Eiji trusts him as he seems like a well-meaning cop like Charlie and Jenkins. As for Huang Lee, he finds the Banana Fish to be very dangerous to sell in his drug dealing but he has no interest in joining Ash and Eiji in stopping its circulation as he just want to reduce his involvement in crime save for the aforementioned drug dealing and heisting, no matter how horrifying Ash had gone through. He does agree that Yut-Lung would really be a bad leader for the Lee Clan and was relieved Sing is around to make him reform.
    • Ash and Eiji did met two people who were wronged by the mafia and seek revenge against them. Darkman, formerly known as Peyton Westlake once got the boys out of trouble when he was out hunting some mafiosos and those guys were hunting Ash and Eiji for their involvement in the Banana Fish debacle; he finds them alright and might help him take down the dons, even if Ash has quite an attitude. And then there's Bloody Marie, a girl who was wronged by the Medicis to the point that the mere mention of any mafia is enough to send her into a violent rage; she met the boys and when she heard of what they both had gone through she, in a very rare case actually fell silent and said she sympathized with their situation. This further fuels her hatred of the mafia and vows to them that when Golzine ascends she'll go kill him herself and they can drag themselves in if they want as long as she does the job, making Ash smirk at the prospect of a rival competing against him in killing Golzine and Eiji intimidated at her general aura.
    • One bad chance encounter later, and Ash and Eiji have became enemies against Hoyt Volker and his goons, Vaas Montenegro and Buck Hughes. Volker is also a drug lord and a brutal one at that, and when he heard of the drug's existence he's gonna make sure he's getting all of the profits and the boys will break if they stop him. Vaas has heard of their trauma and is excited to see them break further once he gets to them while Buck sees more prey to kill and torture when he learns about them; as expected, the boys are disgusted that abhorrent people like them exist. Their enemy, Jason Brody got to the aftermath of said bad chance encounter and found the boys there, getting them to a safe place from the bad guys. Once they did, the two parties recount their respective horrible experiences against druglords and each were taken aback with their uniqueness of it all with Jason seeing how much Volker will covet the Banana Fish now; from then on, he decided to fight with them against the Banana Fish and it horrible effects against the human mind.
  • It's a no-brainer that Ash really hates rapists since throughout all his life, he has been sexually violated ever since he was eight by various men with Golzine frequently doing so in addition to making him his successor to the Corsican Mafia. Along with Eiji, he came to hate Embryo, Ethan Roark Jr. and Molag Bal for sexually taking advantage of the weak even if he knows Embryo and Molag Bal are miles above more powerful than him and his skills. Embryo doesn't see both boys as fitting of his tastes though he can see why Ash is so coveted by the men of his world while Molag Bal takes pleasure in hearing about the stuff they had went through, even thinking that he should maximize their suffering should he capture them and he especially looks forward to Eiji broken and catatonic, something Ash is ticked off at since he's very protective of Eiji.
    • Victims of sexual abuse who later lashed out in the worst ways possible also earn Ash's ire and Eiji's befuddlement. Griffith was tortured for months which caused him to cause the Eclipse incident and raped Casca in front of Guts just to get back at him for not paying attention to him, Kiara Sesshouin wanting to submit the entire world to a world-ending orgy due to growing up in a sex cult and thinking their teachings are absolute knowledge, and Wolfgang Schreiber wishing to kill everyone as a result of being sold to prostitution are all appalling and unthinkable to the boys with them feeling that Schreiber is like Yut-Lung but more unstable; in return Griffith scoffs at them, Kiara finds them to be adequate boy toys and Schreiber is disappointed that they couldn't relate to him.
    • Fujino Asagami is the exception to that, as due to Ryougi curing her appendicitis (it's a long story) she has largely stopped her killings after that and proved affable enough to befriend them. As she gained her powers back when she ascended, she offered retribution to Ash's violators but he declined as he had killed most of them by now so she'll have to settle with comforting him if possible; she even finds Eiji to be reminiscent of Mikiya due to his meek demeanour and concern for others. She had also told them that Kiara is under the command of the Master of Chaldea as she also have but that doesn't make her any less lethal in their eyes.
  • Ash may have hated getting violated by men, but at least he picked up some seduction skills along the way which does come in handy when they work. It got him and Eiji in contact with Issei Hyodo and Yuuto Kiba after the latter duo saved the former duo from an incoming onslaught of mindless devils, and once they got to a safe place they exchange stories. Ash and Eiji found it wild that Issei once died after Raynare killed him and disposed of him for being a bad boyfriend and Yuuto was an engineered soldier of the Holy Sword Project meant to create the strongest swordsmen, something he has a revenge complex against but Issei argues that it still doesn't beat Ash's suffering which he feels is more psychologically damaging. After Eiji reassures them all that who they were or what they have gone through doesn't have to always bring them down in this moment and a slight confusion with Yuuto regarding shared voices, he and Ash have made more powerful allies in Issei and Yuuto.
    • Panty Anarchy also is a master seductress like Ash and likes his handsomeness and cockiness, and Brief finds Eiji to be a good confidant. Even Panty finds his suffering to be heavy and considers not having sex with him just to give him peace of mind though he did make it clear he's okay with doing it with someone like her as long as it's consensual. As for Eiji and Brief, Brief had shared his woes with Eiji who assures him that Panty might not want to act on her attraction towards him as she's probably reeling from his hidden handsomeness beneath his bangs and while he finds it reassuring, it still doesn't make Panty want to date him for real. Prostitutes like Marida Cruz (a former one) and Dorothy Haze also sympathized with Ash as they do admit that he never asked to be in the business and worst of all, an old man took advantage of him just for his own pleasure and was glad Eiji was there to bring him out of the psychological hellhole. Dorothy in particular aside from offering sex to Ash if he wants, also relates to Ash in liking children while Ash is more annoyed at the fact that she shares Too Much Information at times.
  • The boys are in a unique setting where guy-on-guy is perfectly normal, albeit unfortunately portrayed as not pretty. Still, this has gotten them in contact with Oren Pierre Alfonzo AKA Kamen Rider Bravo and Amane Nishiki who are interested in men; Oren gets along with them better seeing as he's the first gay man who was more friendly to the boys compared to the bad guys they faced, and he has welcomed them to his cafe Charmant at anytime as long as they weren't an Aquarius. On the other hand, Amane is looking for more pretty boys for his troupe and he sees Ash and Eiji as perfect for them to which the boys go "nope" on him and his advances; he does pity their past situations regarding the drug but it hasn't deterred him from continuing said advances.
  • Ash is surprisingly good with the kids, as demonstrated when he comforts Max's son Michael after he and his mother Jessica were assaulted by Golzine's men along with his friendship with Skipper. He and Eiji passed by the newly-constructed House of Childhood and Adolescence when they met a girl named Maisie, who had suffered through Parental Neglect until eventually getting adopted by another adult who was capable of giving her the love she needed. Hearing through her situation, Ash and Eiji were saddened that it happened but was relieved that she's safe physically and emotionally; still, it's not as bad as Ash's own, whose father pushed him away out of not knowing how to comfort him after his first sexual encounter with a stranger in town and whose mother had to leave him behind even though her naming of him proved her love for him, both that Maisie can tell Ash had it way rougher. Since then, they have become occasional playmates for her should any of her other guardians are not available to take care of her.
  • On a lighter note, Ash hates Halloween and pumpkins... for a mundane reason. When he was a kid, he was out trick-or-treating with the other kids in his hometown and as he was waiting for Griff to come home so that he can playfully scare him, he ended up looking at a reflection of his costume (a pumpkinhead) on a car's windshield and ran home scared, mistaking it for a monster; that story is too hilarious for Eiji to the point that he refuses to live Ash down for that. It's why Ash often get scared of Jack Skellington, who usually looks after the celebration in the Pantheons and while Eiji does see he does mean well even if he once hijacked Christmas out of not knowing how it works, it takes a lot of willpower and convincing for Ash to not be intimidated by his presence. Jack did warn them that monsters like Oogie Boogie, Mad King Thorn and Jack O' Lantern are a lot more worse than him and they always don't mean well on Halloween; they heed his warning as the aforementioned villains are fantastically super-powered and they mean business. Ash obviously hates Thorn and Jack O'Lantern more as evil pumpkinheads are enough to send him in a reckless frenzy and they in turn see him as an easy-to-scare victim with Thorn feeling that Ash would be fun to see participating in his game of "Mad King Says".
  • "I'll never lose to him, no matter what he does. And I will survive!"
    Ash
  • "If I'm gonna die anyway, at least I'll die trying!"
    Eiji

  • Enemies: Team Rainbow Rocket, Ragyo Kiryuin, Denzel Crocker
  • Pities: Squidward
  • Mina is an inspiring artist from an early age, spurred on when the family's Snubbull accidentally destroyed a picture she made. A spacey artist, she served as the "Trial" Captain of Vast Poni Island. At least until Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, where she stepped up her game. She uses Fairy type Pokemon.
  • Acts like an artsy stoner. She's spacey, hungry all the time, unkempt and one of her Pokemon is a giant mushroom. It's kind of telling that she sometimes chills with Snoop Dogg like she was smoking weed. Sometimes seen with Shaggy, which fuels belief that she is some sort of stoner given he also has those connotations. While she acted that spacey as a child, some are still suspicious. Adding to some of the innuendo surrounding her is the Pink Petal she gives people, as it looks... another type of suspicious.
  • Generally pretty chill, so she doesn't have many enemies. Asides from Team Rainbow Rocket causing obvious problems for Alola, she doesn't like Ragyo Kiryuin because asides from her general depravity, her plan to release the alien Life Fibers on the world is similar, albeit Darker and Edgier plan to the original venom-filled Lusamine's plan to release the Ultra Beasts on the region to run rampant.
  • Her spacey nature could also reference how she's "away with the fairies", and her father has likened her to a fey vagabond. This is even more true upon stumbling into the Hall of Fairies, though she has only really bonded with Klefki since she has her own Klefki.
  • One of her few enemies is Denzel Crocker. The sadist teacher's obsession with FAIRIES! led him to go after her with a butterfly net. He also considers her a slacker and the kind of student he bullies more than normal. Unfortunately for Mr. Crocker, he failed to realize the net only works against FAIRY! GOD! PARENTS! from his home universe and swiftly got his ass kicked by Ribombee's Twinkle Tackle.
  • Very easy-going, and tends to chill in the Hall of Calmness. She seems to get along with Jeffrey Lebowski, admiring his mellow attitude. Reuben came to chill with her and give her a taste of his delicious sandwiches, which the Big Eater enjoyed. The two go to luncheons together now.
  • Mina gets along with Lilo and Stitch as well. Part of this is due to how they're from Hawaii, which Alola is directly based on. Also, Mina's eccentricities are something Lilo can relate to. She has tried to draw a portrait of the various experiments together and has gotten a lot of paint on her in trying to picture all 626.
  • As a freelance artist, she spends a lot of time in the House of Craft and paints pictures of all the new experiences she had in the Trope Pantheon. Rohan Kishibe and Yusuke Kitagawa seem to like her, as does Eko. Mina feels kind of bad for Squidward since he never is able to sell or popularize his art, though feels that's partly his fault from his ego.
  • The pantheon was pretty surprised to learn she appeared in Kanto back when she was just a little kid. How exactly this works with the timeline is unknown.

  • The Russian Mafia held a great amount of power during 1980s Miami with not only manpower and weaponry but also a hold on the drug trade and even some political influence. Yet coordinated attacks by masked vigilantes did a number on them during the year 1989, and perhaps the final nail on the coffin would be the assassination of the Mafia Underboss and Ivan Lebedev... or, so it would seem. Though crippled, and much of the void of power they left behind being filled in by other criminals such as Colombian Cartel, they were not completely wiped out and simply laid low. The Underboss had a son, and an ambitious one at that. Despite being out manned, he eventually got tired of living under The Cartel's shadow and decides to go to war which he eventually wins.
    • Deciding to celebrate their victory, he calls up his former Henchman to come back and join them at his place even giving directions. The Son was instead met with silence, implying a refusal, and takes his own product in disappointment. What he didn't know was that his henchman was long dead and one of his killers took his phone with them. By the time they started the attack, the Son is in one hell of a bad trip and hallucinates his men and his assailants as demons and monstrous animals, respectively. After killing them both it culminates with him walking off the top of the skyscraper thinking he was on a rainbow bridge, splattering across the ground and permanently ending The Mafiya.
  • Came back in the Pantheon seeking to rebuild the Russian Mafia... again, not really taking anything away after what happened last time. Like some soon-to-be deities, he hid in the shadows of the Pantheon, with his being the underworld of the House of Crime and Transgressions. After finding a vacant spot that was in fact refused to be taken by Tony Montana he swooped in to take it for himself and threatened to eliminate anyone who stood in his way unless they promised to serve as his followers. With so many refusals, the Son ended up personally getting rid of many, many people that day.
    • He burst a vein when he heard that Jacket as in the Pantheon as he was the one who killed the Underboss and Ivan Lebedev. Yet at the same time, he'll revel in the fact that he will also be able to avenge him by taking the organization to new heights while also being able to pay back his killer. Over and over again. Jacket reciprocates the feelings since as far as he knows Ivan Lebedev was responsible for the attempt on his life, the hooker's murder, and the whole mess with the phone messages. Key words being "as far as he knows". Manny's vendetta against the Son is much more simple: The return of the Russian Mafia and turf war with the Colombians were one of many events that obscured his fame as the Miami Mutilator. He would of gotten rid of him, but he already disposed of his own men and himself by then.
  • He wasn't the only prominent figure of The Mafiya in the Pantheon. Proceeding him was Dimitri Rascalov who himself took over as the face when Hotel Moscow fell. The Son finds him to be a very competent man, but isn't oblivious to the fact that he has a history of being a complete backstabbing snake, which he still is. Regardless, this didn't sit well for Niko Bellic given his history with Dimitri and has mowed down some fair share of mobsters in white suits to try to get to Dimitri or the Son.
    • Joining him in that regard is Ms Fortune, Peacock, and Bloody Marie for their history with the Medici Mafia. In fact the latter's motivation heavily revolved around paying them back for the mistreatment of her and Peacock. They also seem to accompany Jacket's rampages on the Son's men as well.
  • When the Son wants to clear out an entire building full of people, he has his go tos. The Russian mob boss inherits his father's use of dual SMGs, and his bodyguard's katana and even bullet-dodging agility. If he wants to use fists and only fists he'll simply use brass knuckles which he'll use to instantly kill human beings in a single punch. Though perhaps the most mentioned fact when it comes to the Son's skills is that he's still able to fight while having an incredibly loose grasp on reality through his own product. It's just a shame his men got caught in his drug-fueled rampage. You gotta get a grip on things.
  • With his ascension he brought over his own product to get his hold on the drug trade. Many a deity in the House of Law and Justice have their sights on him, provided that they themselves aren't corrupt. On the other side of the coin, Giorno and Bruno weren't happy to hear of it either especially with the latter's personal history with drug dealers attacking his father when he was young. CJ has nothing good to say about the Son's involvement with drugs either given Grove Street's stance against them. Hourman, too, is also against the Son in that regard and can't for the life of him understand why he'd return to the business despite everything that happened.
    • In response to the influx of enemies from every corner the Son allied himself with the likes of Polpo and Fat Tony to help with his schemes. Through the former he was also able to get into contact with Walter White, even if he does find him insufferable. He also made deals with Felix to help supply his mob with much better equipment to keep up with the more fantastical enemies.
  • If there's anything to take away from his meeting with Richard it's that the Son's restless desire to restore the mob to its former glory is fueled by his desire to make his old man proud, a trait that seems to have stuck throughout his life.
  • Aforementioned bad trip aside, he can be actually be a Benevolent Boss if his interactions with the Henchman are anything to go off of. The Son let him leave without much trouble due to his girlfriend and was willing to let him come back whenever he wanted. Surprising since as far as he's concerned a real man doesn't need a woman to live his life, and that getting attached to them will get you fucked in the end.
    • To the Son, Claude's situation is a good example of such a conclusion. He was once affiliated with The Cartel before they up and backstabbed him thanks to his ex-girlfriend, Catalina. While very aware of his complicated relationship with crime organizations, the Son at the very least congratulates him from rebounding from Catalina's betrayal and getting revenge on her along with the Colombian Cartel.
  • Befitting a mob boss, his Cool Car looks luxurious. Some deities admit while seeing it that it looks awfully familiar. They couldn't quite put their finger on where, though.
  • "I'll give you ten seconds to surrender. Maybe I'll let you live..."

  • Enemies: Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dr. Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze, Professor Hojo
  • Good Counterpart to: Bane
  • Mutual Respect: Ruby Rose
  • Respected/Pitied by: Steve Rogers/Captain America
  • Opposes: Addiction of any kind, the Grand United Alliance of Machines
  • One day, a mysterious ship came hurtling out of nowhere. A team was sent to investigate. They found a man coming out of the wreckage. When they asked who he was, he said, "My name is Rex Tyler. I'm a member of the Justice Society of America." When the Main House learned of who he was and where he got his powers, it didn't take long to find him a suitable place in the pantheon, especially with Captain America advocating for him.
    • Captain America both respects and pities Hourman as he too was bestowed extraordinary abilities by a Super Serum. His are weaker than Hourman's but made up for by being permanent. He feels compassion for the man's past situation.
  • Rex "Tick Tock" Tyler is a biochemist who developed a compound he called "Miraclo", which he uses to become the superhero, Hourman. This mixture, when ingested, temporarily increases human physical capabilities to superhuman levels. These effects, as his superhero name implies, only last one hour. The side effects of using Miraclo include personality changes and addiction. Prolonged exposure can lead to developing symptoms identical to Leukemia.
  • Though mostly withdrawn from the hero business, he is willing, if reluctant, to come out of retirement and use Miraclo again if necessary. This is especially true if it's to aid his fellow founders of the Justice Society of America, Doctor Fate and The Spectre. It helps that a non-addictive variant has been created.
    • He does like to help The Flash and Batman foil their ice villains' schemes, albeit in a limited capacity. He has some experience fighting cold-themed villains through one of his own enemies, Dr. Joar Mahkent, otherwise known as "Icycle".
  • Having a life fraught with addiction has given Rex Tyler incentive to champion the cause against dependency. He's set up a group to help those suffering from the condition, whether it be drugs, alcohol, magic, etc. None of these things are necessarily harmful in and of themselves, but addiction is enough to justify taking them seriously. This has given him the loyalty of anyone with a hatred or history of addiction or their causes. This includes Jack Harkness, who is fairly well-known for his hatred of drug dealers and Sherlock Holmes, who by some accounts has been known for overcoming his drug addiction. Although Rex has acknowledged that the chances of curing some deities are low, either because of the status quo or that the deity in question would lose their status if they were cured, he feels it would be immoral to not at least try.
    • Sees Bane, whose Venom is an even more harmful variant of Miraclo, as an ominous reflection of his past struggles.
    • J'onn J'onnz has been seen attending meetings when his cookie addiction gets really bad.
  • Hates Professor Hojo with a passion. Not only does he remind Rex of one of his worst enemies, Doctor Rocco Togg, but Hojo is much much worse. Where Doctor Togg experimented on and created monstrous animals, which is bad, Professor Hojo experiments on human beings, including his own family members, which is significantly worse.
  • Popeye once tried to see if Rex's Miraclo could match his Spinach. Rex wasn't sure if he should risk using his drug for such a thing, even if it wasn't addictive. Eventually, he acquiesced and they've been seen competing in various physical competitions. Neither has been able to come out on top.
  • In honor of the sacrifice of the third Hourman, Tyler (also called "Ty" or "Matthew"), who was an android who sacrificed himself to erase his death at the hands of the villain Extant, Rex is extremely friendly to all Good-aligned machines, believing all of them to be "as alive as any of us" just as Ty was. In turn, he is strictly opposed to the Grand United Alliance of Machines, who he feels are a stain on everything that Ty always fought for. This has earned him the mutual respect of Ruby Rose, who has expressed similar beliefs.
    • Has had pleasant conversations with The Doctor and Doc Brown on the subject of time travel. Rex isn't the most well-versed in the topic, as he himself is not primarily a time-traveler, but he does have some knowledge through Ty, who most definitely was.
  • Being two superheroes whose powers revolve around a time limit as well as having experience with neglecting their children due to personal issues, Rex and Kotetsu T. Kaburagi get along well.
