Tropes found in A983 Network Shows

Tropes that apply to The Epic A 983 Anime
  • Adaptational Badass: Literally any character can go into this category.
  • Adapted Out: Stampede, Fawnbross' Canonical Partner, isn't present anywhere, with his spot being replaced by 51M. Although 51M died, so Fawnbross is canonically single as of now.
  • A Day in the Limelight: Episode 4: Bloody Murderer revolves around Sonic and Bendy invading one of "A982"'s bases, which is implied to be Emerald's.
  • After the End: The series is implied to take place after an apocalypse that plagued A982's world.
  • Anyone Can Die: Considering the nature of the series, this happens to a few characters.
  • Bait-and-Switch Credits: In the new opening, it shows A983 possibly getting a powered-up form, thanks to the yellow aura. This never happens in the actual series.
    • From the same intro, it shows A983 and co. on top of a building, with Bendy having a bandage over his eye. None of this actually happens, though this could be from an early draft of the story.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: The series has so many cases of blood and gore. Not even A983's World has tons of gore.
  • Call-Back:
    • Remember this piece of dialogue below? Well, in Episode 10, Full Circle, Eddybross actually uses the laboratory. However, Felipebross has turned into a Kaiju. Needless to say, Eddybross was right. It was too late.
Unknown Person: "You could've used the laboratory, y'know."
      Eddybross: "It's too late."
  • Covers Always Lie: On the usual thumbnails for the series, it shows Alex and Isabella, two of 8OXnote 's characters, though they are never seen anywhere.
  • Crapsack World: The Lost City can count as one. A983's dialogue says it all.
A983: At least i can tell this is going to be a crappy new city. Just look at this...! There's trash everywhere... The buildings are worn down and destroyed... Well, at least they have a bus station.
  • Demographic-Dissonant Crossover: The series contains various characters and users from Scratch, a coding website mainly targeted for kids. In The Epic A983 Anime, they're in a blood-filled war.
  • Doomed Hometown: Sticktopia in Episode 8.
  • For Want Of A Nail: The Apocalypse begins when a satellite starts malfunctioning due to a Scratch Cereals commercial.
  • Gorn: This happens a lot, to the point where Episode 10 is just Invincible-level Gorn.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: In Episode 5, Felipebross charges up all of his energy to attack Evil Robotboy. While it does kill him, it doesn't end well for Felipebross, though...
  • Killed Off for Real: Whilst A982 is just trapped in the crystal post-Episode 1, in Episode 8, whatever was possessing the crystal destroys it, implying that A982 is dead.
  • La Résistance: The series is about A983 being leader of his group after A982 gets possessed by an evil entity.
  • Mood Whiplash:
    • Episode 6 uses this a lot.
      • After Eddybross visits Felipebross' gravestone, it shows Felipebross moving on to the great beyond... Only for A983 to say that Felipebross will be okay.
      • Scratch Cat telling how he fought against the Crystal Entity, how he managed to avoid every single one of his attacks, thus leading to the entity melting in a lava pool... only to cut to Scratch Cat burning his tail. Realistic cat sounds included!
  • Reformed, but Not Tamed: Despite herself confessing that she's a horrible person after joining "A982"'s side, Emerald still fights on "A982"'s side.
  • Super Not-Drowning Skills: In one moment of the showdown through projects, A983 and A982 come across Labyrinth Zone, with other Scratchers. They drown, but A983 and A982 are unaffected.
  • Trauma Conga Line: A982. He was partially responsible for Sticktopia's destruction, might have been the one responsible for the Apocalypse, got his body stolen by a ghoul, and he got killed off by said ghoul in Episode 8. What a life.

Tropes that apply to The Afterlife Galz Show
  • Adapted Out: The one and only Helltaker, despite being a key part in the OG game, does not appear in this series.

Tropes that apply to The Epic A 982 Anime
  • Happy Ending Override: This seems to be like this for Kirby. After all the pain he's gone through, he seems to have finally gotten a happy ending in Scratchland, but then the return to A982's dimension happened. And Blakkon shows up.
  • Limelight Series: The series revolves around A982 and co. fighting back against Blakkon instead of A983 and co. fighting back against the entity inside A982's body.

Trivia found in A983 Network Shows

    A983's World's Trivia
  • Adored by the Network: Despite shows like The Triple Threat Show having more views, A983's World has more episodes.
  • Creator Backlash: It seems that A983 doesn't like Episodes 7 and 8, as they have been unlisted from public viewing and can only be viewed through the series' playlist. This might've been due to the fact that Five Nights at Sonic's is no longer canon to A983's World (aside from Leftila) and due to the fact that Lefty Sonic and A983 are viewed as a couple, which is also non-canon.

    The Epic A 983 Anime's Trivia
  • Creator Backlash: A983 admits that Episode 6: Crystal Conundrum is the weakest The Epic A983 Anime episode to date.
  • Development Hell: Development on Episode 10: Full Circle, the series finale, has started since February 2023, and development finished on March 30th, 2023.
  • What Could Have Been: A sequel to A983 VS. A982, A983 VS. A982 II, was announced. Like this series, it revolves around A982 and a crystal, and A982 potentially getting possessed. However, the film was Quietly Cancelled due to development taking too long, thus replacing it with The Epic A983 Anime.

    The Epic A 982 Anime's Trivia

    The Afterlife Galz Show's Trivia
  • What Could Have Been: This is the A983 Network show that has the most scrapped content so far.
    • The main demon girls could've been sisters, not just Malina and Zdrada. It's even mentioned by Modeus in "A Relaxing Night". However, due to story changes while the hiatus was happening, this was cut. Azazel and Modeus then lampshade this change in "Best Time of the Year".
    • Characters from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss could've appeared in the series at one point. Charlie, Vaggie and Niffty on Hazbin Hotel's side, and Millie, Loona, Octavia and even Verosika on Helluva Boss' side. This idea was cut because of A983 losing interest in both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. However, it is likely that some original demons might take their roles at some point in the story.
    • The sprites for the main girls in one of the Helltaker prototypes could have been made into their own, standalone characters and lived right next to the Afterlife Galz' Mansion, but this was cut for unknown reasons.
    • Episode 4 onwards could've used AI Voices like Episodes 1, 2, and 3, however due to an overhaul with Uberduck.ai, plus the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike that was happening during the hiatus, the series used A983's World + The Epic A983/A982 Anime's way of using dialogue: By using the default Scratch dialogue boxes.

    The Triple Threat Show's Trivia
  • Artist Disillusionment: As seen in a status update for A983 Network, one of the reasons for the Triple Threat Show's cancellation was because the A983 Network fandom was paying more attention to The Triple Threat Show rather than any other show like A983's World or The Afterlife Galz.
  • Ascended Fanon: Episode 666, a popular urban legend in the Triple Threat Show community, is now real! However, it is an April Fools joke.
  • Cancellation: As of September 14th, 2022, The Triple Threat Show has been cancelled, and its last episode, The Grand Finale, premiered on Youtube on January 5th, 2023.

    A983's World's YMMV
    The Epic A 983 Anime's YMMV

    The Epic A 982 Anime's YMMV
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight: A982's Backstory with Tonic the Hedgefox in Episode 3 might have come out of nowhere for some viewers, but it's an example of Real Life Writes the Plot. Back in the day, Tonic had a rivalry with A983 due to using his sprites, in which A983 reacted immaturely. This moment in this episode makes sense now that the two grew up in real life, and this is a way of A983 wanting to tie things up on a sweet note.

Tropes found in A983's Scratch Accounts

A982

    Tropes
  • All Just a Dream: Tonic Gets Sent to the Underworld and other hate projects have been retconned to be this.
  • The Bus Came Back: Applies to both A982 and A983 accounts. A982 has been brought back a few times, but only as a means of Self-Deprecation. After A983 VS. A982 got released, he became a permanent part of the A983 crew.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: A982 can fall into this category, but he has gotten a lot kinder in later movies and series, especially The Epic A983/A982 Anime.
  • Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Most, if not all projects count as these. Various Scratchers and various pieces of media are thrown into the projects. A983 still does that to this day, and even in A983 Network.
  • Stylistic Suck: Since it's A983's first ever account, expect a lot of this.
    Funny Moments
    Trivia
  • Humble Beginnings: This is A983's very first public account. The evolution explains itself! From a poorly-drawn stickman hanging out with various Scratchers to said stickman and his friends saving the world from total annihilation in The Epic A982 Anime.
    YMMV
  • Overshadowed by Controversy: Applies to both A982 and A983. His Mean and Hateful behavior back then was shown in a lot of projects. Examples include hateful conduct towards users, claiming he owns Kirby, among various things. Stuff like these caused both accounts to be banned, but A983 has returned with a fresh new look in A983s Return. Nowadays A983 feels regret for what he did back then, and A982 has since then been brought back with a positive light, especially in A983 VS. A982, and the Epic A983/A982 Anime duology.
