Edward Bryan Andrews Jr. (October 9, 1914 – March 8, 1985) was an American actor familiar in chummy and morally ambiguous roles. He was best known for Tea and Sympathy, Advise & Consent, and Sixteen Candles.
Andrews served in the United States Army during World War II. He was married to Emily Barnes Andrews and the couple had three children. He died of complications from a heart attack at age 70.
