- Good Luck Charm: The Lucky Coin was the key for Brucey B to win the Cheat! Championship.

Capara
- All for Nothing: In the Epilogue, Capara laments about being turned into a Wadjet for nothing, until Brucey reveals that he found the coin after all.
- Angry Fist-Shake: Does this in the Cheat! Championship, and in the Cheat! game when she wrongly accuses someone or gets caught cheating.
- Crying Critters: Has done this at least three times in the story; the first when the trio have to go through the haunted woods during the night, the second when she was surrounded by Wadjets, and the third when she was cornered by Dr. Sloth.
- Dude, Not Funny!: After being turned into a Wadjet by Dr. Sloth, Brucey B jokes about selling the one and only red haired Wadjet to Peopatra, which Wadjet!Capara responds by biting Brucey on the nose.
- Fire-Breathing Diner: Bites into a mummified pepper and when she spits the pieces out, her tongue looks like its on fire.
- Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: While the Cheat! game has her with just fur and makeup, the story has her wearing a white shirt, a black jacket, red trousers and black shoes, while a different picture features her in a green dress.
- "Hell, Yes!" Moment: When Capara realizes she is free from Dr. Sloth’s curse, she celebrates by dancing.
- I Want My Mummy!: Capara cries out for her mother twice; once in the Haunted Woods and the other when Dr. Sloth corners her.
- Ignored Expert: Capara insisted for Brucey B to put his winnings in the National Neopian bank, instead of heading to the invitational Cheat! game. Brucey, thinking he was still on a hot streak, naturally chose the latter.
- Informed Attribute: Has been training for the upcoming Cheat! Championship and uses her feminine wiles and amazing intelligence to cheat her way to the top, but she fails to make it past the second round in the game. Her card even lampshades it with the description mentioning that "she is a hopeless cheater and always loses".
- Nobody Touches the Hair: Her quote in her bio is "Do NOT, I repeat, do not touch the hair…"
- Not Cheating Unless You Get Caught: Cheat by Capara’s description states "Everyone knows she cheats and lies her way through every game, yet nobody can prove anything".
- Sore Loser: Capara is seen shaking her fist at Brucey B, though she does sincerely congratulate him sometime after the tournament over the phone.

Princess Fernypoo
- Beauty Is Never Tarnished: She gets turned into a Mutant being from Dr. Sloth’s staff, though she does revert to normal at the finale.

- Fully-Dressed Cartoon Animal: In the story, she wears a pink dress with white gloves.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Her bio states that through word of mouth, she has a volcanic temper that has made tournament organisers wary of sending her an invitation.
- "Hell, Yes!" Moment: When Fernypoo realizes she is free from Dr. Sloth’s curse, she flails her arms wildly about with an open smile after regaining her beauty.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Despite her selfish nature, in the story she helped Brucey B on his quest to retrieve his lucky coin.
- Passive-Aggressive Kombat: Doesn't think highly of Graceful Losers in this quote:"Show me a gracious loser and I'll show you someone who gets beat a lot".
- Precious Puppy: Has a pet Puppyblew named 'Muffy'. When Muffy has an Imagine Spot, he's wholesomely hugging a tree.

- Caps Lock: After getting Brucey B’s coin in the invitational Cheat! game, he says this:GET HIM OUT OF HERE!!!

- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: In Brucey B and the Lucky Coin, Spectre had purple skin and a scar in place of the tattoo on his face. He was also presumably known as "R.S." during the story.
- Even Evil Has Standards: As Dr. Sloth and the Grundo minions load the ship with gold and gems from the treasure room, Spectre asks Dr. Sloth about a fair share of the treasure to share with his group. Dr. Sloth responds by giving him just four gold coins to share with.

- Beauty Is Never Tarnished: She gets turned into a Mutant Aisha (notably the original unused version) after being zapped by one of the mutant Grundo's blaster, though she is seen back in her original form near the end of the story.
