We've been on a disambig tear, but doing that makes sense here tbh.

Well, I don't remember a case were disambiguating wasn't warranted. Usually the tropes that get that treatment are "tropes" that are better covered by other tropes we have.
Anyways, we could disambiguate between Magic Skirt,Panty Shot, and Shes Got Legs. Possibly Minidress of Power as well.
Macron's notesYeah, disambiguate.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Count me in for a disambig vote as well.

back lolNot denying that. Just noticed we've been doing it a lot recently.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?there's been a lot of moving through appearance tropes (which are notorious for being ZCE magnets) and older tropes in general that just don't meet the higher standards the site has shifted towards in terms of pinpointing the use and meaning of a pattern/motif across works. The disambigs are just a product of that. Speaking of which...

Now what am I going to describe short hemlines which I have added for The Roaring '20s and The '60s? Should I incorporate these to Shes Got Legs as well?
Kindly ping me for suggestions, please and thank you.

Disambig.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Well, disambig then.
Again, should I put the entries for The Roaring '20s and The '60s to Shes Got Legs?
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I'd just cut them out right. Wearing a short skirt is not a trope and Shes Got Legs is when a character's legs are given camera focus for fanservice or for when the attractiveness of a certain character's legs is acknowledged in-universe.
Macron's notesCan we take a minute to appreciate the fact that only 2 ZCE were found? When was the last time this happened on TRS?
Well, I don't think I'd give this trope any credit of that sort. The other examples have almost no context either, just enough so that they can be sorted into other folders.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI think it's just that the 'definition' is basically 'girl wears tiny skirt' so you would have to be really careless (like just plop down the trope name) to achieve ZCE.
I put "character has x" and ZCE in separate folders to better demonstrate how most of the wicks use the "trope". I know that the trope claims that it's about Action Girls who fight in impractically short skirts for fanservice but I don't think that stands on its own as Magic Skirt and others already covers that concept.
Macron's notesIt's been three days and we already have plenty of votes in favor of disambiguating, so I think we can go ahead and do that.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I disambiguated Dangerously Short Skirt and cut all of its subpages. I also unlocked it because we don't have to worry about people adding creepily detailed examples to the page now that DSS is no longer a trope.
1003 wicks to cleaned it.
Macron's notes
So, Dangerously Short Skirt is supposed to be a fanservice about Action Girls in short skirts but I don't really think that stands on its own and I think that Shes Got Legs, Panty Shot, and Magic Skirt covers all of the fanservice aspects. I ran a wick check and found that only a few examples that actually mention that the character is an action girl. Most of the wicks were just "character wears a short skirt" and some of these characters weren't even action girls.
Wick check is at Sandbox.Dangerously Short Wick Check.
