This thread is dedicated to image suggestions for pages without pics (including those pulled by Image Pickin'). Guidelines:
- Please read How to Pick a Good Image and Just a Face and a Caption before suggesting an image. Additionally, make sure to source the image in your post.
- If you have multiple suggestions you'd like to field for a single page, that can merit its own thread. Otherwise, use this thread.
- It is recommended that you upload your suggestions as you would like them to be formatted on the page.
- A crowner will be generated with suggestions which will be voted on as normal:
- The crowners will generally run 12-15 items at any given time and may go as high as 20 if there's a backlog of suggestions, so please do not add items to a crowner once it's running.
- After 3 days, any options with a net vote count of ≥10 can be put on their respective pages. After 5 days, this can apply to options with a net vote count of ≥7. Anything below that will need to go the full 7 days.
- After 7 days, generally the unprocessed options that have a positive vote count (2:1) can go up on their respective pages. Old thread rule, no longer enforced
- Suggestions will generally be processed and added to crowners in the order they come into the thread.
- Selected images will be tagged using this template (which goes above the image):

I'm trying to tackle as much of the Image Pickin' Backlog as I can, but I'm mainly focused on trope Main Pages, medium-specific subpages, and Referenced by... subpages.
A lot of images have been suggested for work-specific pages, but I'm not familiar enough with many of the works to come up with a suitable alternative. Same with anything pertaining to Anime & Manga / Comic Book / Fanworks / Video Game subpages

There are currently 130 pages on Image Pickin' Backlog without a "note". It will take 7 crowners to get to the latest suggestion. Assuming that a single crowner lasts 3 days, it will take 3 weeks for the backlog to clear.
So I think a timeout is needed. I had suggested one a while back

If you're worried about the amount of examples (which I also a little worried), then I suggest to convide the moderators (like Sync, Willbyr or Twiddler) to close the current crowner a little early, or atleast giving a less limit range for the crowners in general.

Any time out would need to be self-enforced (i.e. people should stop actively looking for pages to illustrate, which I suspect is what's going on with all the trope subpages that suddenly get a burst of suggestions). Locking and unlocking a thread simply to modpost is a hassle, and thumping for what is otherwise a wiki-improvement effort feels excessive.
Regarding items on backlog, I'm inclined to treat Derivative Works as a 'work subpage' rather than something that needs to be crownered here, so those can probably just go on the page barring a countersuggestion.
And this is probably just me, but some moments page suggestions are really...obvious? I know they have come under increased scrutiny because of the MICT, but that doesn't mean they're otherwise difficult to picture. Sometimes I look at a suggestion for, e.g. heartwarming and it's a sweet-looking hug and think "this is really uncontroversial, I wouldn't blink twice if this didn't go through the Suggestion thread".
I've also said this before, but the reasons I'm not inclined to lower the time is (1) it takes time to close and set up crowners which we might not have everyday even if it was done and (2) I'd like there to be time for dissenting opinions to emerge. Speedrunning things just so we can get through the backlog is the wrong way to look at it, imo.

Re Moments, while Heartwarming, Awesome, and Nightmarefuel are easy to represent as screenshots. However, Funny Moments and Tear Jerker often run the risk of being JAFAAC, especially the latter. At least with the former, one could easily come across an amusing screenshot.

Maybe just encourage people to just post the images up if they are good enough. After all, this thread isn't mandatory; people can just put images on pages with no prior IP history. Trope pages need more discernment but everything else probably doesn't.

Yeah, I've been sitting back and wondering why so many of these images need to be crownered. Most are so uncontroversial that they can probably just be added to the pages directly.

I agree, this backlog definitely needs to be cleared up. It's a shame though, just had a good idea for Continuity Nod but I guess that'll have to wait for now.

The crowner completed 3 days, so I took the liberty to add and tag all the green suggestions that has 10+ votes. Since the rest are in deep red, we can close the crowner. (I'll handle the Image Source later)

If uncontroversial moments images will be added directly to the page, I think it would be a good idea to discuss what we agree and disagree upon. I'll start with images on pages 544 to 547, as they would be on the next crowner.
- Ones I agree with: Heartwarming.Ultra Series (cute pig thing), Funny.Dracula 1931 (that face), Funny.Miss Sherlock and Heartwarming.Miss Sherlock (both already deemed uncontroversial), Heartwarming.The Parent Trap 1998, Heartwarming.Freaky Friday 2003, Heartwarming.Ash Vs Evil Dead (Although the quality could be better), Funny.Hamilton (The pose looks kind of silly), Heartwarming.Aurora 2019

- Funny.Freaky Friday 2003 - It's not clear what is supposed to be funny

Regarding Broken Base, I think this page from the One Piece manga serves as a nice complimentary illustration for the Anime & Manga subpage (or it can be put in the One Piece subpage if y'all would like). It has the same spirit as the illustration currently on the main trope page.
Would it be better to keep the third panel at the bottom, or would the first two suffice? I kind of want to keep the third panel, because Blackbeard and Luffy's expressions of "Did I just hear a bad opinion coming out of your dumb fucking mouth?" are an accurate representation of a broken base in its early stages. But on the other hand, those facial expressions look kinda hard to see at wiki size (but not too hard).
