"Little Red Riding Hood" is an old European Fairy Tale about an innocent young girl and The Big Bad Wolf. The two best known versions of the tale are by Charles Perrault and The Brothers Grimm. Those said versions been adapted multiple times in a lot of media.

- Le Petit Chaperon rouge (1930), French film written by and starring Jean Renoir.
- "La Caperucita Roja" (1960), Mexican film directed by Roberto Rodriguez, that moves out of the original ending when Little Red Riding Hood learns that the Big Bad Wolf is not a bad guy, only being outcasted because of being a wolf (even has a skunk as a friend), it leads to two sequels:
- "Caperucita y sus 3 Amigos" (1961) where the new friends confront a group of gypsies accusing the Big Bad Wolf of thievery,
- "Caperucita y Pulgarcito contra Los Monstruos" (1962) where she crosses over with the Mexican version of Tom Thumb (Pulgarcito) to confront the Snow White´s Witch Queen, her monsters, and her master, The Devil.
