There will be loose recreation of the friend gathering during the True Pacifist Asgore fight.
  • It would undergo notable changes, of course, due to the heavy deviations this timeline has undergone. But the main details would be there, such as Toriel coming to protect Frisk and Sans and her recognizing each other. Due to his upgrade to Anti-Hero status in the later animations, it wouldn't be Flowey who cuts the happy reunion short but Chara.
    • Jossed in specific but in the fifth vid by the time things had settled down, everyone arrives.

Frisk did the Genocide Route out of frustration over not being able to save Asriel.
  • According to Camila, Frisk had done the Pacifist Route multiple times before switching to the Genocide one. They may have tried multiple ways to try getting Asriel included in the happy ending, but he was always stuck in the ruins awaiting his inevitable reversion to Flowey every time. Their frustration accumulated to the point that they started lashing out in anger in their next run. This awoke Chara, who encouraged this negative feeling to fester and result in them Jumping Off the Slippery Slope. It was eventually That One Boss fight with Sans and his words that finally snapped them out of it.
    • Appears to be Jossed as this aspect wasn't played up, it appears to be more growing bored with the pacificist route and with the power of reset, decided to do the genocide route until Sans' words reminded him of what he was throwing away

Season 2 will have a little more focus on the other characters.
  • Papyrus, Undyne, and Asgore only have incidental involvement in the first season, and Toriel, Mettaton and Alphys don't really show up at all. One could argue that this is because they're not as glamorous as Sans, Flowey, Chara, and Gaster, but they're each a badass in their own right:

    • Papyrus's "really cool regular attack" is still enough to give players a hard time (and who knows how strong his actual special attack would have been, to say nothing of Fanon regarding what happens if he's the one to survive the Genocide route).
    • Undyne can tank multiple hits from Frisk, even before her Undying form comes into play, and is the only monster thus far who can actually force him/her to stay put (the only reason you can flee in-game is because she's a Tactical Suicide Boss who switches that out every now and then).
    • Asgore pulls an Interface Screw at the beginning of his boss fight, and one could argue that the only reason he doesn't do the same thing to, say, the FIGHT button is because he's trying to fight with honor, plus his ATK stat is through the roof.
    • Toriel is strong enough to subdue Asgore and Flowey in a single stroke each.
    • Mettaton is outright invincible so long as he stays in box form, and his EX form possesses similar capabilities, along with being a Dance Battler for good measure.
    • Alphys was able to design and build Mettaon's body, all on her own, as well as create the DT Extracion Machine and keep a degree of control over the Amalgamates, without outside assistance... even as the resident Non-Action Girl, she's pretty dangerous.
  • Even if the series stays as action-oriented as it has been, there's plenty of reason to give these guys screen time.
    • Oh so Confirmed by "Do Or Die". Alphys almost kills Betty via use of a machine in the Core, and she gets there by not relying on her own innate magic. Furthermore, various points in the video suggest we will see Toriel and Asgore finally get to do something, and Undyne takes on her Undying form after Betty kills Alphys.

The Pink Soul represents forgiveness.
"My Sunshine" has both Asriel and Frisk try to get past their past and forgive themselves, Sans might or might not forgive Asriel for being Flowey, and I'll bet you the Season 2 finale will feature Ms. Grey forgiving Asgore for killing her daughter, and her daughter forgiving her for forgetting the recital. On that note...

  • Jossed. The Pink Soul actually represents fear. Though it should be noted that it looks pink thanks to the Bete Noire spell.

They'll find a way to bring the other six souls back to life.
Everyone deserves a happy ending.

Alternatively, the Pink Soul represents loyalty.
Betty's magic manifests as a creature that clearly cares about her and wants to protect her.

Asgore and Toriel will re-marry.
This is based more on what's absent than what's there, but the Sans x Toriel ship is suspiciously absent, and the two could easily have an Enemy Mine situation going on with Miss Grey. Plus, the reason Toriel left in the first place was because she felt Asgore was acting in a passive, cowardly manner... yet once they're on the surface, he confesses to what happened to the children who fell into the Underground, even knowing that revealing it could upset their shot at peace. That might be many things, but "cowardly" isn't one of them. Also, Asgore's been more proactive in general, as Frisk mentions he's been taking care of political meetings, which are beyond Frisk, even with the AMD breathing down his neck, which is a far cry from the hands-off approach he used down in the Underground.

Akumu means "Nightmare". Perhaps Akumu is the true Fear and needs to eat souls to power himself.
  • Jossed. My Promise disproves this

Akumu and Betty are the same person
If you were going to build a creature that would live among humans and prevent them from obtaining peace with monsters, wouldn't you make it so they resemble a human being?
  • Confirmed!

Betty was the creation of the The Wizard of "Bravery"
Think about it, Betty is the only other known magic user in the series to be the embodiment of fear. "The Wizard of Bravery", being a Monsterist asshole, turned into "The Wizard of Fear" to overpower her brother and keep the monsters sealed in, but was slowly dying from the sudden change, so she created a demonic creature, most likely Betty, to ensure Humans and Monsters would never get along.
  • Confirmed

Betty planned to use Jessica Grey the whole time
Since Betty has been around since the barrier was created, chances are she manipulated Grey's "Sunshine" into Mount Ebott, where Betty knew that Asgore would kill her. Fast foward 20 years later, where she waited for Asgore to confess, resulting in Grey being so pissed off she would do anything to get revenge, cue their meeting and the events of "Dust"
  • Jossed. According to Word of God, Betty only started to exist after the Barrier was broken.

Papyrus will be a Spanner in the Works
He'll win over humanity with the same traits Betty tried to use to manipulate him into a damning position... his innocence and naivete. Betty will never see it coming.
  • Confirmed.

Sans won't be coming back...
After the events of "Dust," we're all hoping for a Reset or something to reverse what happened. And this series is entirely based on cheating the system. But this time, things will be permanent. As much as we want things to get fixed in the end (and as much as I hope I'm wrong), I have a sinking feeling that consequences are permanent this time and Sans is gone for good...
  • Supporting this: The last conversation Sans and Frisk had before the former's death was him spelling out exactly how he felt about the idea of Resetting to undo something that went bad. To Reset to save him would be disregarding his feelings on the matter, so Frisk would probably try to avoid the option out of respect for his wishes.
    • Jossed. He's alive again in Love Part 2.

The final backup plan for the villain of season 2 is to convince Chara to Reset back to the beginning and agree to never break the Barrier.
After all other options are exhausted and she is on the brink of losing, Betty will try to convince Frisk to Reset and keep the monsters in the Underground. Her whole purpose was to keep the monsters and humans separated. And if the monsters can't all be wiped out, trapping them once again with a Reset would work just as well. And Frisk might actually consider it, even if only briefly. After all, the monsters would still be trapped and there wouldn't be much hope of ever escaping, but they would be alive and safe (including Sans). But this is Frisk we're talking about. They won't agree to it at the end of the day.
  • It doesn't seem as if Betty has any convincing motivates to do this at all. Their purpose is to make sure monsters and human alike never live in peace, not tell the main protagonist to reset. On that side note, Frisk has been all but eliminated from the game, leaving Chara behind. It could be possible for Chara to reset at all, but if it isn't, there won't be a possibility that this could ever happen.
    • Jossed. It's revealed in Game Over Part 2 that Betty's plan is to Rule them All, and make sure the monsters go extinct.
Akumu's actions are what will actually allow our heroes to save Sans
Okay, so hear me out. Normally what happens when someone is killed in the game, their Soul shatters. It happens with Frisk. It happens with Asgore. And it would happen with the other monsters, though it is harder to notice since it happens at the exact same time they crumble to dust rather than having their Soul remain a few more seconds like in the first two cases. Regardless, when someone is completely and truly dead, their Soul is shattered.

That didn't happen in "Dust." Sans' Soul never shattered. It was eaten by Akumu. That's still a bad thing and it certainly means Sans is dead-ish. It might even mean that Akumu is using Sans' Soul for more power the same way that Sans used Frisk's Soul in "Megalomaniac" and "Yet Darker." But if the Soul is still intact, then it might not be too late after all. There may still be hope. Because Akumu ate Sans' Soul rather than letting it shatter, they might be able to bring him back without needing to Reset.

  • Even if that is true, there are no guarantees. While it was eaten, his soul may have survived, But probably only barely. The soul could be extremely hurt and broken, and may even shatter upon contact with the open world. The only way for Sans to come back may be through DT, and we all know how that went...
  • Confirmed! Betty and Akumu use Sans' Soul combined with the Hate substance to recreate Sans' body and tried to use him as a puppet in Love Part 2. Then Papyrus snapped him out of it like Asriel did with Chara in Continue.

Two other ways Sans could potentially be saved, though both will result in some flavor of Came Back Wrong.
  • If his soul survives long enough for this, it could be absorbed by another human and share control with them like Chara and Asriel did.
  • If his soul doesn't survive long enough for that, then his dust could be spread on some item and that item could subsequently be exposed to Determination, reviving him ala Flowey as Asriel. Then he'd just need another soul so he wouldn't become such a sociopath

Frisk would probably be the most likely candidate, either as a vessel for option A or a Heroic Suicide for option B, as they would want to make up for their suggestion to Reset to get Papyrus out of jail.
  • Option number three: Soul-eating works something like a simplified version of real-life digestion: Sans' soul wasn't so much "burnt and gone", but rather, assimilated into Akumu and burnt away little bit by little bit as the energy becomes necessary. Thus, if/when Akumu's defeated, some portion of Sans' soul can be salvaged... but it's damaged and/or corrupted, and while there's enough raw energy to bring back and sustain Sans, he won't be himself. Cue the Season 3 antagonist.
    • "Do or Die" adds some weight to this option; We see Sans's soul still inside Akumu, but partially drained, implying that this is indeed how it works.
    • Well and truly jossed as of Love Part 2, see the WMG immediately above which got it right.

Jessica Grey will perform a Heel–Face Turn or Enemy Mine.
In the ending of Dust, Betty decides to Kick the Dog by imitating her dead daughter before torturing her. However, based on a line from the Do Or Die preview, Jessica is still alive. She may decide that monsters (at least as a whole) don't deserve what Betty is planning, and decides to help the monsters. Or maybe she just wants to get revenge on Betty.
  • Confirmed in "Do Or Die".

The Bad Guy Wins in Season 2.
We've already lost Alphys and Frisk, and there's no telling (yet) how many children died at the school...Betty may very well succeed in killing all the Monsters. If this happens, Chara is going to have to reset and Set Right What Once Went Wrong, setting us up for season 3.

Undyne will die.
As much as we hate to admit it, Undyne will die. DESPITE being in her Undying form, and DESPITE Undyne is OP as all hell in the Pacifist Route, especially facing Betty, Betty can use Undyne's weapons against her, and Frisk is supposed to finish her off, so YES Undyne will die.Although Who knows? Gaster says only Determination can kill Fear. What is Undyne fueled by in her Undying form? Determination.
  • Jossed.
    • Only for that specific fight. There are only 3 more episode left this season so there's still time for it to happen.
Frisk will defeat Betty by "calling for help."
We know that ultimately Frisk will have to face Betty. And we know that one of their abilities demonstrated both in the game and the series is their ability to "call for help" and have souls answer. In the game, they do this against Omega Flowey and the six Human Souls help them. In the Pacifist Route of the game, they call out to the monster souls inside Asriel Dreemur and they react. And in the first season of "Glitchtale," Frisk calls out to the Human Souls and helps Flowey become "God of Hyperdeath" mode version of Asriel. This is one of Frisk demonstrated abilities.

And what are Betty and Akumu doing right now? Gathering souls for power by taking them from humans and monsters alike. While that might be making them stronger right now, I have a feeling that will be their downfall eventually.

  • Jossed. Gaster killed her in Animosity.

Frisk will perform a Fusion Dance to defeat Betty
In Season 1 Frisk made a habit of using a Fusion Dance by giving Sans and Flowey their SOUL to defeat Chara and Gaster. However, this Fusion Dance will have a little twist. Instead of Frisk giving their SOUL to a monster, Frisk will take a monster's soul. The original game of Undertale has stated that it can be done so we know it's not impossible. The only issue is, who would Frisk fuse with? My theory is that Frisk will retrieve whatever is left of Sans' soul from out of Akumu and will use that to defeat Betty. Let's face it, seeing Frisk with Sans' powers would be cool. And since we know that the Fusion components can communicate, this could give Frisk a chance to give Sans a proper apology for the "Reset" discussion from "Dust".

  • Jossed. Although Chara might do it.

The creepy orange girl that keeps showing up is The Wizard of Bravery
And she will turn out to be either The Man Behind the Man or the Greater-Scope Villain.

Frisk isn't the Pacifistic child we all thought they'd be.
In fact, we might even see their Genocidal side soon....

Confirmed here.

  • We do know that they went through a Genocide Run in the first episode. And they certainly remember it. Just because they want to be a Pacifist and give everyone a happy ending doesn't mean that they don't have the potential and capabilities to Fight.
    • Semi-confirmed as of Love. Frisk does start to gain a bit of LV at the end of part 1 and the beginning of part 2, but it's done via emotional hurt rather than physical killing. Once Betty kills Asriel, however, Frisk's LV spikes to 19 and all bets are off as to what they intend to do to Betty.

Who the hell are the other 5 wizards? Most likely we will have this explained soon.
No seriously, who or what the hell are the other 5 wizards besides Bravery and Determination?

We know so far that they created the barrier, and they revolve around the 7 main traits, so, What traits do they have? And who are they?

Word of God says in one of their livestreams that they'll create a speedpaint of the 7 wizards soon. Maybe we'll get more info then.

  • The most likely answer to the second and third questions are that they're other humans, endowed with the traits of Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity, and Perseverance, as these are the traits associated with Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, and Violet magic, respectively. That still leaves the question of where they were during Determination and Bravery/Fear's duel, though... perhaps wrapped up in their own dealings? Possibly providing the backdrop for future seasons?

  • Word of God (Specifically, somewhere in Camila's amino) states that the other five died of old age beforehand: Bravery and Determination happened to be the youngest two wizards which is why they were the last ones alive.

Betty's plan is to ultimately bring back Chara

We know that Betty originally wanted wanted Asriel's soul in particular during the events of "Dust", it was only after Sans sacrificed himself and Asriel escaped did Betty decide to take the HATE vial from Ms. Grey. What does the HATE vial and Asriel's soul have in common? Well, the HATE vial is pretty obvious since Chara's main traits were DETERMINATION and HATE. Meanwhile, Asriel's soul was made from the remnants of Chara's soul as stated by Chara themself at the ending of Continue.

Now why would Betty would want to bring back Chara? Because while Gaster's book implies that the purpose of Betty is to prevent humans and monsters from living in peace together, the wording could also be interpreted as Betty's purpose being to ensure that humans can never live in peace and the ensure that monster's can't live in peace either. This is further supported by the fact that Betty was harvesting souls mostly from HUMAN children.

And do you remember what Chara hated the most? Humans.

Whether or not Chara would come back as their HATE-filled self as they were the majority of Glitchtale S1, their purified self from the end of "Continue" or some Creepy Good character that takes elements from both personalities would still be up to air if this theory is proven true.

  • Knowing that Betty's only purpose is to ensure monsters and humans can never co-exist peacefully, jossed.
    • Jossed again in "My Promise".

Going along with the aforementioned plan, Betty will try to bring back Chara by gaining LV.

We already know that Betty wants Humans and Monsters to not live peacefully, but still. Betty has already killed Sans note  Alphys note , and Undyne, so maybe her L.O.V.E has increased. Which would explain the entire curbstomp battle with Gaster.

  • Jossed.
Mettaton may get to be in the spotlight soon.
I mean, HECK, we've seen Alphys, Undyne, Sans, Asgore, Toriel, Gaster, and pretty much EVERY character in Undertale get a spotlight, so Mettaton HAS to get a spotlight too! Who knows. Maybe the Power of Neo will get to him.
  • Confirmed!

Frisk will attempt to convince the Big Bad to do a Heel–Face Turn before their final battle.
Frisk will try to reach out to the Big Bad, because in many respects, they're not so different. Both are unique souls of incredible power, and both elected to take the Genocide route at one point (though Frisk regretted it). Plus, the incarnation of Frisk we see now is one that's tried both the Pacifist route and the Genocide version, and ultimately decided they prefer Pacifism. The fact that they can manifest weapons with their determination now doesn't change that fact, so while we likely will still see a climactic battle, they'll at least try to extend a Last-Second Chance first.
  • Completely Jossed. Betty is absolutely decimated by Gaster even after Frisk is swapped for Chara, giving none of the cast no time for her to do a Hell Face Turn for them.

Asgore will die in "Love" through a Heroic Sacrifice for Toriel

Asgore being in the school has to have some kind of purpose and since both him and Toriel are dealing with the school attack, it feels likely that if Toriel got attacked, Asgore will sacrifice himself to save Toriel in an act fitting of the episode's title.

  • Jossed.
Betty will get around to absorbing HATE as previously teased, and someone will make a Senseless Sacrifice.
Essentially, someone will do a Heroic Sacrifice and successfully kill Betty off...but it'll end up being all for naught, as they may end up becoming the next Big Bad from the HATE Betty absorbed, and possibly ejected onto the other character.
  • Semi confirmed/jossed. Bete does die, but only Sans committed a Heroic Sacrifice and died and Gaster was the one to finish Bete off. As for HATE, it absorbs Betty's rotting corpse and takes its abilities as their own, making the latter completely jossed.

Four words: Hate-Fueled Zombie Sans
And he'll go after Frisk because the last thing they did was get into an argument. It'll serve as a Call-Back to the first episode with the two of them fighting.
  • Confirmed in Love: Part 2. He starts fighting Frisk until Papyrus gets involved.

Betty
is a Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds. She appears at first to be pure and irredeemably evil. Then we see her kinder side towards Kumu and vice versa. Think about it - like the ''Indominus Rex'', she was created to be a force of destruction and never had a chance to be anything else, never meant to gain love or kindness or other positive traits. This will lead into the below WMG.

Betty
will pull a Heel–Face Turn later after she has absorbed the 26 souls. These souls will give her a power boost, but they will also do what they did for Asriel and give her positive feelings and emotions - real ones, not the act she was putting on in the beginning. The souls inside her will battle the Hate to decide if she grows even more evil or manages to redeem herself. She may even assist in stopping Hate and give back Sans' soul as well as the others and, if she does not perform a Heroic Sacrifice, she will undo the damage she caused to avoid being a Karma Houdini.

  • It seems as though that is starting to be confirmed, seeing as Betty is gaining more emotions, and genuinely cares about Akumu, and we already know that Betty was originally Amber.
    • I don't think this could happen anytime soon. The soul that Betty has came from Agate herself. Meaning that Betty will be unlikely to pull a Heel–Face Turn. Additionally, Wordof God states that there's no likely chance that Betty will even spare anyone at this point, and by going the pacifist route is outright dumb.
      • Outright jossed. Gaster killed her before that even happens.

Likewise, Frisk will begin to pull a Face–Heel Turn.
They are becoming more ruthless to stop Betty. If she becomes kinder over time, then Hate will give up on her and go back to Frisk, causing the newly-redeemed former villain to side with the heroes and the good souls against a Hate-Empowered Frisk. Fear is the only power that can stop Determination.
  • That is very easy to see considering how Frisk did a nearly completed Genocide run at one point. Such a mindset would be far more fitting for hate than Betty's (as her concern for Akumu is one thing/person more than End Of Genocide!Frisk/Chara), and in trying to raise his level, he risks returning to that precise mindset. If this happens, this effectively spits on his actions of season one. It wasn't power or violence that 'defeated' Chara, but compassion.

Loosely confirmed. They go full genocide Frisk until Papy shows up.

The Hate will turn Betty into a Complete Monster
Don't get me wrong, she's clearly an antagonistic force, what with her willingness to kill humans and monsters alike, absorb souls, and sow discord and hatred, but she still has a few Pet the Dog moments, most notably with Akumu. Once the Hate takes over, though, that will all go out the window...
  • Betty is doing her best to control the hate she has, by not only getting rid of corrupted souls, but sending the remnants to Asriel for use against him.
    • though, the moment HATE is purged from Asriel will be the moment it would take control over her as well; and judging from the musics and streams leading up to Animosity, she'll most likely become HATE!Bête at the end of the episode. This would also lead to a final battle against an incarnation of HATE and FEAR.
      • Subverted in Animosity Gaster Brutally killed Betty in a fit of rage, but HATE use the remains to construct a physical form.

Frisk is like Betty
As Betty was created by Bravery, Frisk is either the reincarnation of or a creation of Determination, whose purpose was to free the Monsters from the Underground. That is why Frisk expected to return to the black screen after he got the ending he finally wanted - he knows he is a construct, and expected to disappear. But that did not happen, because Betty exists in Hard Mode. And Frisk can no longer RESET, SAVE or LOAD not as a consequence of destroying the RESET, but because that is the way Determination wants it to end after Frisk finally got the ending he wanted.

The final episode of the season will give us Betty's backstory as Amber
It will show us that she was originally created (being a magical being neither human nor monster) as a pure, kind, and (because of her mother's trait) brave soul until her mother turned wicked with the power of Fear and did the same to Amber herself before she passed on. She also removed her daughter's memories of being Amber, hence why all she knows is that her Evil Plan must be carried out.
  • Jossed. There's a separate video called Glitchtale Origins: The Black Beast, that provides the backstory of Amber's life and eventual death. Even so, Betty is completely dead before the final episode of the season is even released.

Before the series is over, the cast will find some way to reverse the effects of LOVE.
Because if Frisk continues to become more violent, we're in for one hell of a Downer Ending.
  • Jossed. Not only did Frisk gave his soul to Chara to revive him, he also deleted the LOVE mechanic along with himself, making this whole thing moot.

Hate is responsible for corrupting the Bravery wizard and, thus, Betty's creation.
Considering what it did to Chara, it isn't too far-fetched to think that, while Bravery did have good intentions when creating the barrier, Hate twisted this into prejudice against all monsters, spurring her on to fight her brother, and creating Betty. It would definitely explain Bravery's Motive Decay. Another possibility is that Bravery could be the original producer of Hate in the first place.

In contrast to the above, the Greater-Scope Villain behind Hate is Determination
After his defeat at the hands of Bravery, Determination was very likely furious that Bravery failed to upload her end of the bargain, as well as horrified at what she has become. He quite possibly felt a large amount of hatred for her, and that this Hate continued to exist after his death. However, the Hate could have expanded from simple hatred of his fellow wizard to an all-consuming, terrifying malice that seeks to destroy everything. It's even possible that the Hate's sentience and malevolent will IS Determination, Come Back Wrong.
  • Jossed. The Hate actually came from Frisk.
    • Additionally, Copper was only defeated by the death of Amber, and this allowed Agate to kill him entirely.

Series 2 will end, as a Genocide run always does, with a meeting between Frisk and a reincarnated Chara
Once Frisk manages to finally defeat Betty and/or any other Big Bad, Frisk will reach her maximum LOVE level, and as a result this will trigger the reincarnation of Chara to appear in front of Frisk in the darkness. Unlike her normal appearances at the end of Undertale, Chara will not gloat about Frisk's actions bringing her back, nor will she take any pleasure from the inevitable consequences of this. Chara will angrily refuse Frisk's request to erase the timeline and move on to the next (especially considering how it will affect Gaster and Asriel), and instead offers to use their newfound power to "erase" Sans' and Alphys' deaths in exchange for Frisk giving Chara their SOUL. Chara will vow to do a better job of protecting the others than Frisk did, and the series will end with a flash of a knife and a series of nines filling the screen as Chara takes over Frisk's body.
  • Truly subverted. While Frisk does meet up with Chara, it is on the fifth episode and does not end on a Genocide run; he also ends up replacing himself with Chara.

Agate Lightvale, the Wizard of Bravery and Bete Noire's creator, will be resurrected and ascend to the role of Big Bad in Season 3
After Frisk manages to defeat Betty, I imagine that in a last-ditch effort, she and Akumu would somehow revive her (maybe by causing another glitch in the timeline), fully powered by Hate and Fear, before passing on, reverting to Amber, or perhaps even fall victim to Agate. If Amber comes back, I presume that she would attempt to convince her "mother" to stop her evil plan, only for her to try to kill her. Frisk would protect Amber, and would engage in some sort of unfair, one-sided "prologue battle" against her, setting Agate Lightvale, Glitchtale's Greater-Scope Villain, as Season 3's main antagonist.
  • Jossed, the third season will be a prequel series leading up to the events of Glitchtale. Gaster even killed Betty before it even happend.

Asriel can / will kill Betty
If anyone remembers correctly, Chara redeemed themselves by pulling a heroic sacrifice so Asriel could have a soul with every human trait. EVER. This means Asriel has determination. Cue Betty vs. Asriel.
  • Jossed. It was Gaster.

Frisk will be the Big Bad of season 3.
Going after Betty by accumulating LOVE can't possibly be leading them down a good path. Furthermore, so far, Frisk really hasn't even been the main character, or at least not nearly as much as Sans, Asriel, and Gaster, and if they kill Betty, that's got to be worth a lot of EXP, probably more than even Sans can handle even if he comes back.

Seems as though it's jossed, because Frisk starts reversing the effects of LV.Could later be confirmed.

  • Completely jossed by My Promise.

Robin is actually the anomaly
EDIT: Rewriting a WMG I made a while ago.

While this theory is a bit out there, it would be interesting if it turned out to be true. I make this mainly because I want to see Betty vs the Anomaly.

Betty is being affected by the Souls Kumu ate - but in a positive manner.
  • When Sans breaks free of Hate's control, Betty and Kumu are both weakened by the purification, and instead of screaming and raging in anger, or coldly laughing and taunting the heroes as she leaves, she just cuddles Kumu and quietly whispers that "We'll retreat." Could this be Amber's personality returning to her now that she's had positive souls inside of her and some of the Hate has been presumably cleansed from Sans (and indirectly her and Kumu)? Yes, I know Camila has stated that Amber cannot come back, but that doesn't mean that Betty will never learn to have similar feelings that her original incarnation once had.
    • It might be that the souls are a counter balance to Hate, though not strong enough to fully counteract it alone, hence Betty having to resist
    • Original poster: Additionally having Asriel's soul added to the mix and containing all seven traits may have a positive effect on her too. She will probably become an Overpowered Goddess of Hyperdeath and Hate until the Souls reach out to her and Determination purges her of Fear. Otherwise, how can she be defeated if she doesn't give up Asriel's Soul somehow? She's too powerful to just let it slip from her grasp. Asriel couldn't be defeated, the Souls couldn't turn against him, but he could be saved. Perhaps she can also be saved. This will leave room for the true antagonist (Agate) to enter the story and possess someone or revive herself somehow.
  • Jossed: [1] states that once the soul been inverted, it'll never feel positive emotions ever again. Additional, Betty was killed by Gaster in Animosity, so there's no redemption for her going on.

Asriel may also come back, but in some flavor of Came Back Wrong.
If we all remember right, Betty now has Asriel's soul, meaning she has the powers of the GOD OF HYPERDEATH. If she decides to use that power and fill it with hate, God damn, she might as well sit on her own throne. Also might we add, he has Flowey still in his head, so Betty may reach out to that.
  • It seems more likely that a Came Back Wrong Asriel would instead pull a Villain Override on Betty... she has the fear trait, he has literally everything else. Alternatively, maybe this is where his reconciling with Flowey will come into play... that might be just what's needed to overpower any kind of possession by the hate.
    • Confirmed, in My Promise.

While Agate is likely the Big Bad of Season 3, she may not be the only one.
She is part of a Big Bad Ensemble.Going back to my previous WMG, there is still the possibility of Betty firing a last-ditch attack to kill Frisk (or corrupt them), but another protagonist (it doesn't really matter who) steps in to take the blow, thinking that they would die from it. The character and Betty pretty much die off, and Season 2 would end with the last of Betty's life force calling to revive Agate...and what once was Frisk's friend becoming The Heavy, having somehow absorbed a mixture of Betty's energy, the remnants of the SOU Ls she wielded, the heavy doses of LOVE she had, and HATE, if there was still some left in Kumu - all from that one Suicide Attack that Betty did - to become an Eldritch Abomination, powered by not LOVE or HATE...but an entirely new, undefined material made from all the aforementioned components of Betty's powers.
  • Jossed. As well as Season 3 being the Glitchtale Prequel, Betty is completely killed off, with the HATE within her obtaining whatever she had to form a Eldritch Abomination of its own.

Cam and Lily are the only kindness souls in Toriel's school
So I got a theory that Cam and Lili are the only kindness souls in Toriel's school. My idea came up when Camila's videos about the wizard week and yeah kindness being the close rarest trait next to the determination trait and the fear trait. I kinda observe that most children have other traits than the kindness trait... and that's it for all...

Chara will once more become part of frisk.
So Frisk can call for help and all Chara essence needs to return is DT due to them glitching and abusing the glitches more. Chara is in the Void(Word of Cami) and the void is where the game keeps those that die abnormal deaths. So Frisk will call for help and Chara will answer if frisk is convincing enough
  • Subverted, as Frisk ends up replacing himself from the timeline with Chara.

How did Gaster get those scars thing in his eyes?
In Cami's drawings of the prequel Gaster(the thing where the story before the war of monsters and humans) , I observed that there are no scars on his eyes and those answers and questions about Gaster's Scars on tumblr long time ago...That got me thinking about this...There and are maybe hints about Gaster's scars or something but i think Gaster got them in the war of monsters and humans. I think he fought with the Perseverance Wizard (Shane Goldburn). In wizard week, the speedpaint of the perseverance wizard has blood and at the side there was rainbow stuff. And I think those rainbow stuff on the side are Gaster's hands. And yeah...war stuff happened between those two characters

Betty's death will be a massive Tear Jerker
Cami is good at building up a Hate Sink only to crush that view of them by making them a Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds - just ask Chara. Before Betty's demise, the heroes will learn her past as Amber before she was killed and turned into a completely different entity - then they will learn that Agate shoved all her evil into her child as a result of the Soul Transfer in "The Black Beast". The girl will still be evil in the end and have to die (perhaps by killing Kumu first), but as she starts dissolving, she will turn bitter about her pointless existence, jealous of what Frisk (edit: Chara, now that Frisk is gone) has with their friends, and have a Villainous Breakdown (possibly to the point of crying pitifully and fearfully, overcome by her very own trait) upon realizing that she was never given a chance to start a new life when Amber lost hers since Agate was pretty much controlling the keyboard and Betty was the game character Forced into Evil. Think about it - she can't even sleep and let go of her mission for one second. The heroes will express Alas, Poor Villain and maybe even Cry for the Devil as the last trace of Amber dies with Betty and Kumu in a way that does not leave the viewer satisfied but terrible for once wishing this fate upon her and wholly disgusted at Agate (and even the game itself for ruining the characters' lives).
  • Maybe, what will happen is that the amount of souls that Akumu has taken up will convert Betty into a sort of "Pure" mode, reverting her back to her Pre-Betty / Amber state ala Asriel. This could be a Tearjerker as well, seeing as Betty/Amber may pull a Heroic Sacrifice or something of the sorts, knowing she's dead anyways.
  • Jossed for her redemption part: [2] states that the soul inversion is irreversible and is incapable of compassion and love, she's actually a reincarnation of Agate, with Amber's corpse used to create a body (see WMG below).
  • With Animosity, it highly depends on if Gaster's brutal torture of Betty is a massive Tear Jerker or a Take That! to the villain.

Frisk's attempted Genocide run did taint him on some level
Mainly by he ties gaining strength with gaining LOVE, and during the battle with Betty, showing a bit of hate. Without much training in focusing his determination in a non-dark manner, he's mainly able to strengthen it via LOVE. Undyne in contrast having done things with Justice in mind is able to tap into such amounts without the karmic backlash. Not to say he can't be the kind kid characterized by the pacifist route, just that when push comes to shove, it vanishes quickly.

Frisk will kill Asriel
Let's think about it; Frisk is already in a corrupted state of affairs, and Asriel may be revived to stop the gang. Since Asriel has no one to love, he'll most likely kill the entire cast, before being killed by Frisk in revenge. This could lead into a spike in Frisk's LV, jumping them all the way to LV 20, a very terrible mood indeed.
  • Absolutely jossed; Asriel does stab Asgore, but it doesn't do much to fatally kill him. Frisk, meanwhile, ends up replacing himself with Chara, who manages to save Asriel from the HATE without killing him.

Sans will die. Again...
Let's think here. Sans is now currently "Fallen Down" as monsters call it, where the monster is basically dead. No way to revive him unless you fill him with DT, and... we all know how that went.
  • Confirmed as of Animosity.

Chara will have to regain their legendary power from Season 1 to stop Betty's One-Winged Angel form
Now that Frisk has essentially replaced themselves for good with Chara, the one to stop the spread of Fear will be Chara. This will probably result in an all-out battle between them and the One-Winged Angel form of Betty that we saw briefly in "My Promise". However, they will likely have to find a way to stop her without directly slaughtering her and gaining LV (unless that doesn't happen when you kill a construct of Fear).
  • Jossed: Chara not only regained HATE from Asriel in Animosity, but also reformed it into a more managable form. Plus Frisk destroyed the LV mechanic upon His own deletion

Mettaton will have a duel with Betty.
Let's think about it: Mettaton has been doing nothing up to this point, and while we still don't know he'll do in the next episode, let's assure ourselves that Mettaton will fight Betty for his own life...even if it kills him.
  • Loosely confirmed, but the whole "Mettaton dies" part is jossed.

If not, Mettaton could also be corrupted by Betty as well.
Why hasn't Mettaton appeared in a Glitchtale episode since Dust? Maybe it's because he's been taken down by Betty and her HATE has been transferred over to him. That could be a possibility.
  • Jossed.

Chara will die and the timeline will be destroyed forever.
It's not hard to see why this episode's title is called "Game Over". While the intro to Game Over does feature Chara getting screwed by Asriel, his next death won't be tolerated anymore, and this time the timeline will die without any intervention.

Sans will sacrifice his life for Papyrus.
At the end of Game Over Part 1, it's implied that Betty's pink blobs will attack Gaster's own household since nobody is there to overlook it. Since Sans has been blessed with Undyne's blood, he'll be awake to not only try to save Papyrus's life, but die for it.
  • Confirmed

The whole Glitchtale timeline is an impending Temporal Paradox that shows the origins of Gaster and Chara.
Skipping ahead to a possible conclusion, what if the only solution to permanently cleanse the world of Hate is to get someone with a great deal of Determination to take it then exile them from the timeline so Hate can't contaminate it anymore? Right now, that would mean Chara would be the one to take it, since Frisk is gone, and he would then get exiled by Gaster. Gaster would then exile himself as a security measure, breaking the machine in the process to ensure nobody can accidentally summon it back. This would cause the timeline to shatter and reform itself into a Close-Enough Timeline with Chara being replaced in the timeline by Suspiciously Similar Substitute Frisk and Gaster being more or less removed altogether except for his irreparable machine and the memories of a few people. The timeline obviously can't continue past a certain point without Chara, so it starts back up neatly at the biggest point of divergence. The only problem is that Hate is proactive about worming its way back in, and in the hands of someone with as much Determination as Chara can probably influence events even from the outside... which leads us full-circle to the beginning of Undertale.

Alternatively, the story will end with the creation of a new timeline.
Specifically, that of Deltarune's timeline. Gaster and Chara will survive, as their presences are strongly implied. What's left of the Hate will incarnate in the form of the Knight.
  • Jossed: [3] confirmed that this is the best and final timeline.

Chara will be successful in bringing back Asriel this time, but that in turn will force Betty to kill Asriel.
Because of Chara's timeline shenanigan from Game Over Part 1's failed timeline, there now exist two Heart-lockets. Chara will be successful in bringing back Asriel but that in turn will force Betty to destroy Chara's determination somehow. And what's the best way to destroy someone's determination (as showed by Glitchtale Origins?)
  • Confirmed and Jossed. Asriel's brought back, but not killed just yet, not even from Betty herself.

Alternatively, Asriel and Chara's combined powers could defeat Betty finally.
The power the two have is definitely stronger than most of the stuff Betty can dish out, and it's shown that determination absolutely shreds fear's attacks.
  • Jossed. It was Gaster's Polychromatism that finished Betty off. Not sure if Asriel and Chara could finish HATE together though.

Undyne and Ronan will be powerless to stop the Akumu-Zilla unless Undyne goes Undying again, and uses Spear of Justice
Just think about it. The Akumu-Zilla shrugs off a huge majority of magic attacks, and it's massive bulk means it can swallow as many souls as it chooses. The only way to prevent such a huge cataclysm is if Undyne reverts into Undyne the Undying and destroys the abomination, and even then it might not be enough.
  • Confirmed.

What will be the final death of Season 2?
We've already had Alphys, Frisk and Jessica, but there might be one more. Speculations about who it will be, if there will be one, can go here:

  • Asriel or Sans: Both Asriel and Sans, having had their soul taken by Betty and having Came Back Wrong, could easily die: Asriel since he's still under Betty's control, and is being forced to fight Chara; and Sans, since both Gaster and the creator herself has said that he is confirmed to be dead very soon. Although the creator could be lying, AND she has ways to resurrect him that people may not know about.
    • Jossed: Asriel manages to be freed of Betty's control, and Sans is killed before the last episode commences.
  • Toriel or Asgore: Both Dreemurr Parents are facing down their only child, and a la Stoick in How To Train Your Dragon 2, they could end up leaping in front of Chara to protect their child and taking the bullet. Though I don't think either of their arcs are over just yet, so if this were to happen, it would happen at the end of the season.
  • Gaster: Gaster has to play an important role in killing Betty at this point, since his only other meaningful contributions have been being yet another person to join the list of people Betty's beaten in battle, and have people e.g. Alphys and Jessica sacrifice themselves for him. It would end up being an impactful death, too, given that, like Frisk, Gaster has been one of the first-season regulars. However, he and his family have already been through too much, and with Sans set to perish, Gaster's death might be too much for Papyrus to take.
  • Undyne: She has been one of the greatest fighters in the season, scoring a definitive victory against Bete Noire and forcing her to use the HATE Vial, so killing her would make sense, given that she's had a glorious track record already. On the other hand, this would make Toriel the last female major character going into Season Three, and remove some interesting character dynamics between her and Papyrus, her and Asgore (as of yet unseen), her and Ronan and her and Chara.
  • Papyrus: The main powerhouse re: emotional support and friendship, Papyrus's death could be massively impactful - however, Betty has already almost killed both of the other skeletons in this season, and Papyrus would impact not just the viewers, but the characters as well (obviously).
  • Chara: The only circumstances I could possibly see Chara dying in in Season 2 is if they kill Betty, therefore separating the game and its world completely, before dying - and let's face it, that probably won't happen (though it might!)

Betty's One-Winged Angel form will be a cross between Kumu (pink demonic appearance) and Agate (long hair)
When Mettaton burns her body with the stage lights, her skin is pink underneath and her hair suddenly grows out before returning to normal size. To finish her off, Chara will have to defeat this transformation.
  • Sorta? It's more of a cross between her demonic appearance and HATE.

Betty will sadly die without ever returning to her pre-corrupted state in the prequel comic
She'll get blown away for good and the heroes will never know that once upon a time she could have truly been one of them.
  • Confirmed. Betty's dead, it's just hate left.

Asriel (possessed by HATE) will become The Starscream and turn on Betty to pursue HATE's own agenda rather than hers.
We know that even Betty herself is scared of HATE and how it tried to control her into doing something even worse than what she was already doing to the point that her goals and memories were slipping from her mind while it was trying to take her over. Eventually, HATE will grow sick and tired of her not allowing it to do what it wants and pull a Hijacked by Ganon, spurring Asriel into attacking her once he/it is powerful enough to pursue its own goals. HATE wants to bring more souls under its corruption, and to do so it will first take care of the one weighing it down. It will possibly...
  • Use Asriel to force itself into Betty, gaining full control of both of them and turning Betty into a One-Winged Angel form resembling a pink Akumu-Agate.
  • Kill Betty somehow. (Unlikely, unless it infects someone with Determination like Chara or Undyne)
  • Infect a heroic cast member.
  • Force Betty (as highly improbable as it sounds) into an Enemy Mine with the very people that rightly despise her in order to combat something far worse. By the end of the season, Betty will pull a Death Equals Redemption to help defeat HATE since it is highly unlikely that Agate's spell will ever let her pull a genuine Heel–Face Turn without turning her back to evil soon after.
  • Jossed. Asriel's fine.

Underneath her Amber appearance, Betty is a Clipped-Wing Angel
Chara will soon find out that damaging her insides will be the key to finishing her off, so once her Amber body starts to fall apart, she'll be truly vulnerable.
  • Jossed. Gaster's the one to kill Betty and cause HATE to take over her leftover corpse to assume a physical form.

Sans and Papyrus are going to die.
Don't you think it's a little odd that Camila would go out of her way to explain Gaster's "Polychromatism" attack? An attack, mind you, that Gaster can only use if both Sans and Papyrus die? She must have plans for the two Skelebros... bad plans...
  • Jossed. Only Sans dies, but Gaster nearly kills Papyrus had he not let his guard down.

Sans is going to be the one to save Asriel.
Think about it. Sans had to have been brought back for a reason. Not just that, but Sans was the only person genuinely nice to Asriel that Asriel probably couldn't get mad at. They were friends, and I don't think Asriel will just forget that, even if Hate has corrupted most of his judgement.
  • Jossed. Sans dies before he gets to see Asriel again.

The events of Deltarune will be important in some way.
  • Jossed. The story and world building of Glitchtale was written years in advanced and the scripted been finalize way before Deltarune's Demo release.

Betty is Agate Lightvale
Since Agate's soul was use for its creation, it's highly likely that she's still the same Brave Wizard that helped sealed the monsters thousand of years ago. This makes sense, as her Fear soul will simply decays overtime, eventually lead to it shattering on its own. So what perfect way to avert the inevitable than to remold the soul itself into a body that durable to most attacks, but could also absorb magic to become a that of a Goddess. This pretty much means that the fight was against the Sorcerer of Fear herself, who have to used the corpse of her little sister to survive.
  • HATE, GAME OVER part 2, and this comic pretty much hinted toward this.
  • It could also explain her fate in Animosity the side effect is that she need magic to survive as well, and when she was drained from it through AMD's assault on Kumuzilla, she's pretty much on death's door. It didn't help that Gaster torn her apart, leaving behind a husk for HATE to take over
    • Alternatively one could argue that Betty's just a personification of Agate's Envy, Fear, and Hatred toward the Monster race and her own Brother, Copper; an agent create to fullfill her creator's twisted desires Meaning what Gaster killed was Agate's warped ambitions that were holding the HATE back.
    • Betty does not see Agate and herself as the same person. She notes that Agate spoke to her some time before she put the plan into action and told her never to allow human-monster interactions to resume again out of fear for another war that could devastate the planet and all of civilization. She also refers to Agate as "Mom". This heavily implies that they are separate characters (or at the very least, separate personalities, with "Betty" being a new personality who has fallen under corruption from her creator's negative soul).
