This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

You're looking for this thread. I'll bring that page up there, though I guess a mod will see it either way.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettySlight rewrite for Video Games A To K:
- Asura's Wrath: Chakravartin, the Big Bad of the entire story, is the nigh-omnipotent creator-god of Gaea and a smug, cold, uncaring sociopath who attempts to destroy and recreate the world constantly because he considers it beneath him to keep the planet's denizens safe from harm. To this end, Chakravartin's attempts to find an heir resulted in his creation of the monstrous Gohma that have destroyed so many innocent lives so he can test the resolve of the Gods. This also resulted in the Gods using humans as slaves and harvesting their souls and Mantra for their own powers. All the death and destruction in the game, over the course of over 10,000 years are all the fault of Chakravartin, solely so he could find someone else to do his job for him, and would kill and restart everything until he got the result he wanted. Despite trying to claim himself as well-intentioned, Chakravartin's claims are shown to be the hollow words of a cruel egomaniac, and once defied, the true monster he really is comes out.
Also, please replace the last sentence of Kreeg's entry at Marvel Literature with this:
While appearing to have good intentions, the fact that he is willing to work with a "surface-dweller" such as Doctor Doom shows that he is nothing more than, as Namor himself says, "a fierce and bloody-minded savage".
At the same page, please add this to the end of the image caption:
These are only two of his many dozens of victims.

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM Drafts- 16321: Did the disambig for Demigod; however, two pages having the wrong name for a trope isn't sufficient cause for creating a redirect out of Divine Ancestry.
I'm not super invested in Divine Lineage either way, since it has minimal inbounds/wicks.
DTH otherwise.
And I'm an idiot. For Kreeg, that pothole should be Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist. My bad.
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsDone
Why?
Rape Discretion Shot: Please add to the Film section:
- Showdown in Little Tokyo: After Yoshida displays a sexual interest in Minako, he's seen dragging her into his bedroom and strips down. He shows her a tape depicting how he decapitated her friend Angel previously and warns her that the same will happen to her if she disobeys him. The actual rape isn't depicted, but it's strongly hinted that Minako is Driven to Suicide afterwards.
At Assassin's Creed and at Literature A To F, for Birch, please replace the WIE wick as "tries to pass himself off as well-intentioned" (without the pothole).
Also, please add this to the "Never Again" list, for "Definitely not a CM" (Western Animation):
- Samurai Jack
- Aku: Even disregarding the fact that he's not always taken seriously by the narrative, he is Made of Evil.
Finally, from here:
- Mott rewrite goes to American Horror Story (Freak Show).
- Fairy Tail tree replaces the current tree at Anime And Manga A To J.
- The Hag writeup goes to Comic Books, as does Siegfried's rewrite (the latter goes to the Uber tree).
- Crazy Bull goes to Film A To E.
- Olivier expansion goes to Film K To O.
- Rhazzazor goes to Tabletop Games.
- Laszlo goes to Video Games A To K, Heroes of Might and Magic tree, Heroes...V branch, after Alaric.
- Fontaine rewrite (L.A. Noire) and "Lucky" rewrite both go to Video Games L To Z.
- Boticelli goes to Western Animation (films).
Thanks.
EDIT: Also, at JAG, please replace "Mayor's well intentions" with "Mayor's good "intentions

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsSome more WIE fixes:
At Other Media, for Tiraz, please remove the WIE pothole and make it pretense of doing the work that others are afraid to do for the greater good.
At the same page, and also at Anime And Manga A To J, for Chaos Head, please make the final sentence thus: While Norose claims he has good intentions, he is nothing more than a petty tyrant with a god complex seeking to enact his designs on a world he sees as having no point by hurting those in his way.
At StarCraft, for Amon, please change "Even while claiming good intentions in ending the cycle races are bound to, a protoss who touches Amon's mind revealed the truth" to "Even while claiming good intentions in ending the cycle races are bound to, a protoss who touches Amon's mind revealed the truth"
At Anime And Manga K To Z, for Naruto, please change Haido's first sentence to this: Haido, the main villain of this second film in the franchise, was first introduced hoping to use the Stone of Gelel to create a utopia, but in fact just wants the power.
At Transformers and Film P To Z (Transformers), for Attinger, please change "may come across as a Well-Intentioned Extremist" to "may come across as well-intentioned"
At Video Games A To K, for Jade Empire, please change "While he tries to paint himself as a Well-Intentioned Extremist, he's obviously lying to save himself" to "While he tries to paint himself as well-intentioned, he's obviously lying to save himself"
More to come.

And the final part of the WIE cleanup:
- For Angela/Ash (Black Butler tree), please get rid of the WIE pothole and wrap a Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist around "in reality"
- For the Cyborg 009: Call of Justice entry, please just remove the WIE pothole.
- For the Death Note entry, please replace the last sentence with this: When exposed, Light attempts to justify himself as well-intentioned, but is revealed as "nothing more than a crazy Serial Killer."
Literature M To Z
Please replace The Pearl Saga writeup with this:
- The Pearl Saga, by Eric Van Lustbader: Shima Neddhu from "The Ring Of Five Dragons" is a truly cruel and hateful bastard. Taken in as an acolyte of Mother, he turns the seven other male acolytes and his lover against her to steal the Pearl, convincing the others that Mother is using their faith to rule over them all. He has the poor woman bound and gagged and leads his cohorts down into a hiding place that holds the Pearl, despite Mother warning them that they will die if they do so. When a monster promptly kills two of the cohorts, Neddhu then orders the others to keep moving, and when they refuse he decides to send his mentally and physically handicapped, very young daughter into the cavern holding the Pearl. When she comes back with the Pearl and tells him he is not worthy, he kills the girl, kills his lover for trying to protect the girl, and throws Mother at the monster currently chasing him. Using the Pearl, he learns that a powerful alien race, The V'ornn, is coming to Kundala, and so plans with his surviving conspirators to trick the V'ornn and use them for their own purposes. The V'ornn end up enslaving the planet and all but destroying the Kundalan culture. He pins the blame for his murders on the Rappa, a more animal-like race, simply because he looks down on them as beasts, leading to centuries of persecution and demonization by the Kundalans onto the poor creatures. Unlike a large portion of the villains, Neddhu's a human being motivated less by racism and more by attaining personal power, despite claiming otherwise. His actions were so terrible that male Kundalans can no longer have a high level of power in most Kundalan societies.
- For the Rebel Genius entry, please replace "He tries to paint himself as a Well-Intentioned Extremist, but he used Zanobius to murder countless people" with "He tries to paint himself as meaning well, but he used Zanobius to murder countless people"
- For The Tapestry entry, please replace "While he masks himself as a Well-Intentioned Extremist" with "Despite how he masks himself"
- For WolfStar SunSoar (Wayfarer Redemption tree), please replace the first sentence with "WolfStar SunSoar, Ninth Talon of the Icarii, may present himself as well-intentioned, but is actually one of the most monstrous characters in the entire series."
Live Action TVM To Z
- For Jennifer Blake (Teen Wolf tree), please just get rid of the WIE pothole and wrap a Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist around "proven false".
- For Braine (Wild Wild West tree), please replace "a Well-Intentioned Extremist" with "having good intentions".
Video Games L To Z
- Please replace Drek's entry (Ratchet and Clank) with this:
- Ratchet & Clank (2002): Ultimate Supreme Executive Chairman Drek, the Big Bad, may at first come off as a humorous villain who is trying to find a home for his people by extreme means, but by the end of the game, there is no mistaking him for anything but an unrepentant maniac. To begin with, he is the one who over-polluted his own home planet and got his kind, the Blarg, into this situation, and proudly boasts about it and how he did it on purpose, and his real motive behind tearing apart planets to build his new world (with people still on them) and eventually trying to blow up planets with bombs and superlasers, is the mother of all money-laundering real-estate scams; he's been paid for every square inch of the new Blarg homeworld, and makes it clear once the people settle in, he'll repeat the whole polluting and planet looting cycle all over again. Oh, and he almost blew up Ratchet's home planet with a superlaser so he could move his new world into its perfect orbit, and it's implied he also chose Veldin just to spite Ratchet for getting in his way.
- For The Sorceress (Spyro tree), please replace "she is a Well-Intentioned Extremist" with "she means well".

CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsYou Would Make a Great Model had all its examples removed and was locked in 2013. The edit history doesn't show any major problems and, as far as I can tell, it's not stated anywhere on the wiki why it was locked.
Please add the following to Trivia.Ghostbusters2016.
- Throw It In!: According to Chris Hemsworth, a lot of the movie's dialogue scenes were improvised, with Paul Feig throwing in lines and ideas for the actors to work and ad-lib with.

Just wanna add something to Double Standard Rape: Female on Male.
- Funnily enough averted and played straight on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia when we find out Dennis was raped by his high school librarian at the age of fourteen. When confronted about this he dismisses it with how it wasn't rape since "you can't rape a guy", but when pushed he seems to show some distress over the memory. The implication is that Dennis is playing into this trope to enforce Men Are Tough stereotypes but was deeply traumatized, and this event is part of his Freudian Excuse that explains (among other things) his predatory attitude toward sex.

Perverse Sexual Lust: Please pothole "because of Anna Belknap" to Celeb Crush.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"At Video Games L To Z, please change the Spider-Man and X-Men games to the following trees:
- Spider-Man games:
- Shattered Dimensions: Mysterio (Quentin Beck) is the Big Bad of the game, and is portrayed as far more wicked and dangerous than in the comic. Failing to steal the Tablet of Order and Chaos due to Spider-Man's interference, Mysterio escapes with one of the now-shattered fragments of the Tablet. Realizing the power of his fragment, Mysterio goes on a rampage, destroying anything in his path. After finding Madame Web's location, Mysterio tortures her, then uses her as a hostage to force Spider-Man to retrieve the rest of the Tablet's fragments for him. Restoring the Tablet to it's original state, Mysterio gains god-like powers, destroys the Multiverse, and plans to remake it in his image.
- Spider-Man 3 (PS3, 360, PC version): Luke Carlyle is a former industrialist whose business crumbled after the Daily Bugle uncovered his corrupt practices. Seeking revenge against the city that ruined him, Carlyle adopted the identity of "Carlyle the Mad Bomber" and led a series of terrorist attacks across Manhattan. After destroying his old building, Carlyle had his men plant explosives throughout the city, focusing mostly on locations that would cause civilian casualties. When Spider-Man foils his plans, Carlyle launches an attack on the Daily Bugle and kidnaps J. Jonah Jameson. Carlyle places an explosive collar around Jameson's neck and tosses him out of his helicopter in an attempt to kill him and Spider-Man. Carlyle ultimately escapes after Spider-Man takes out his helicopter, but not before setting off the explosives he had rigged in each of his henchmen's suits.
- Web of Shadows-Amazing Allies (PS2 and PSP) Edition: Venom, Eddie Brock, is the main antagonist of this alternate telling of the story, and is nothing like any of his other incarnations. Hating Spider-Man for untold reasons, Venom allows Jackal to experiment on him in order to speed up his symbiote suit's growth rate, then spreads his symbiote across Manhattan, infecting hundreds of people, including Spider-Man's friends, and turning them into mindless, hate-filled zombies. After manipulating many of Spider-Man's foes into assisting him in destroying the Wall-Crawler, Venom reveals he plans to allow his symbiote to spread across the planet, infecting every human around the world once Spider-Man is dead.
- X-Men games:
- Destiny: Bastion is a robot who was created to defend humanity against mutants, but grew beyond his programming and became a threat to all of humanity. Bastion is seemingly killed in a battle that also leaves Professor Xavier dead, but survives, uploading his program into an orbiting satellite. Bastion makes contact with Luis Reyes, the head of the Mutant Response Division, and devises a plan to Take Over the World. Reyes obtains a sample of Xavier's DNA and uses it to replicate Xavier's Psychic Powers. With these new powers and under Bastion's direction, Reyes takes controls of the MRD, U-Men and the Purifiers. Bastion and Reyes uses these groups to kidnap mutants and subject them to dangerous and potentially lethal expedients, in order to harvest more mutant powers for their personal uses. Bastion and Reyes also cause further tension between humans and mutants in San Francisco. Reyes holds a rally to promote peace between humans and mutants, but also launches an attack on this rally (which kills the mayor and several civilians) and frames Magneto for it. Bastion also kills Pixie, one of the youngest X-Men, and frames Cyclops for it, just to increase tensions between the X-Men and the Brotherhood. Bastion's ultimate plan to use a combination of Xavier's powers and his own Technopathy to take control of the world's technology and transform all of humanity into his mindless slaves. Reyes thinks Bastion respects him and sees him as an equal, but Bastion takes over his mind when he no longer needs him.
- Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse: Big Bad Apocalypse is once again presented as a extremely cruel Social Darwinist. Apocalypse starts the game by conquering Genosha, locking all the Genoshan mutants in a makeshift prison so he can test them for harmonic DNA, a particular DNA type that will increase his own power. When the X-Men come to liberate Genohsa, Apocalypse attempts to destroy the Genoshan Sea Wall, which would have killed almost every mutant in Genosha. After Genosha is liberated, the X-Men track Apocalypse's forces to the Savage Land, where they attempt to destroy the technology that keeps the Savage Land in tropic temperatures; this would result in the inhabitants of the Savage Land freezing to death. Later Apocalypse manages to conquer New York City, dropping a bomb that flattens several neighborhoods, just to make room for his tower. Apocalypse again imprisons the mutants and tests them for harmonic DNA, while having his forces attempt to drive the human refugees into the sea, setting up anti-aircraft guns to prevent anyone from rescuing them. Apocalypse is such a powerful and cruel foe that the X-Men and the Brotherhood team up to stop him.
