Nope! Nothing out of the ordinary here!
KingHarky is a rather new multisource YouTube Pooper who began in late 2012. While he doesn't use Adobe Flash, he has openly considered himself to be a 'Flash Pooper', but with a notable lack of plot, which has led to some very...interesting results. As his video editing style progresses, he finds his videos becoming increasingly unclear on the Sliding Scale of Comedy and Horror, so what used to be regular sources then becomes strange, and even deranged creations! He has a YouTube
as well as a YouChew account.
KingHarky used the following tropes in his works:
- All Just a Dream: Acording to Word Of Pooper, all the events that took place in the first poop, with the exception of the ending, were hallucinations from a concussion Fat Mario recieved after hitting himself against (and subsequently getting stuck in) a tree!
- Compare with his second poop, where it's revealed that most of the poop was a story told to the titular character, Mega Mojo. It doesn't help that the storyteller, Mama Luigi, was holding a crack pipe, and looked visibly high. This explains why the poop was so strange in the first place: it was the tall tales of a drugged, inresponsible bastard!
- Animation Bump: Thanks to the awesome power of Adobe CS2, KingHarky has been able to create many animations and incorporate them into his poops. As a result, the quality of his videos is *hopefully* gonna go way up in the future.
- Author Appeal: Due to finding the titular character of I.M Meen very hammy, and with loads of personality, he's been giving him many cameo appearances in his poops.note In fact, many of the sources and references he uses are primarily used because he likes them.
- Additionally, he enjoys incorpating the styles of many of his favorite poopers into his own work, and will put references to them in YTPs.
- Big Bad: This trope is taken, and thrown right out the window. While there are some characters that have dubious inclinations, theres so little character development that its hard to tell whos who. Thus, making all assumptions regarding a character's siding based simply on appearance, while the true answer will most likely be found by analysing and deconstructing the work, similarily to what is being done here on TvTropes. At the most, the characters quite possibly range from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good.
- Big "SHUT UP!": Robotnik does a very big one after being annoyed by Mega Mojo's incessant screaming. Rather than help him out of the portal loop he's stuck in, Robotnik punches him out of it, shouting "SILENCE!"
- Bitmaps Sprites And Textures: He seems to like implementing them in his YTPs, and will even go to the extent of combining sprite graphics with 3d graphics. Sprite animations are also used at the end credits of Mega Mojo Attends da Furry Convention, where we're treated to the strange sight of Mega Mojo banging against a drum in order to make the 'music'.
- Black Blood: A rather creepy, as well as unintentional, end result of video editing errors.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: In "Bilbo Reilly's Acute Case of Telly Block", the titular character gets rudely interrupted by a computer pop-up screen. His response?
Bilbo Reilly: "No! This is an over-used joke."
- Occurs MUCH more literally when Ganon's head 'crashes' into the screen and proceeds to crack it.
- Catastrophic Countdown
Cut to construction shaking violently, and Bob clinging for dear life.Jumps to the machines evacuating the building...Wendy 1!The screen then proceeds to fly towards outerspace...right before a passenger plane heads right towards it!BOOOOOOOM
- Comical Overreacting: Many, many times through each poop.
Bobert Muck?Muck Yes, Bob?Bobert Will you marry me?'Lofty Umm, yeah, I think so!
- Continuity Nod: It's happened! For example, the first poop he made ends up with Dr. Rabbit giving Gay Luigi some... unusual advice, just as long as he pays him 5 cents. In the next poop, we see Dr. Rabbit hitting luigi with a car! note
- Copyright: Fat Mario gets arrested by the copyright enforcer simply because he's wearing a Darth Vader mask! If deconstructed, one could argue that this was a way of protesting against some of the more nonsensical actions of Copyright.
- Covert Pervert I.M Meen, especially so in "Mega Mojo Attends the Furry Convention". However, unlike most covert perverts he isn't covert at all about his pervertedness.
I.M Meen: Furries with beautiful butts will really make me yiff!note
- Ironically, in many other poops, I.M Meen states that he despises furries. Of course, this example is justified as he was simply doing a peanut butter commercial, as it is revealed later on in the poop. This still raises a few questions, though...
- Cowboy Episode: One segment of "Bilbo Reilly's Acute Case of Telly Block" revolves around a cowboy standoff between Bilbo and I.M Meen. I.M Meen may have to work a bit more on his costume though.
- Creepy Changing Painting: In one poop, Fat Mario walks through a room towards a painting of Princess Peach. Pretty normal right? Right. Till a split second later, when the painting suddenly transforms into a hideous two-headed anime girl with an arm coming out of her butt. And it plans to grab him.
- Crossover: Characters from all sorts of origins interact with one another in King's poops. Try counting all the characters that appear in one of his poops, come on, we dare you! This trope is notably one of the main sources of Shout-Out in KingHarky's poops.
- CrowdChant As seen in the image at the top of the page, when Meen starts playing in a basketball game he gets this, as well as a Crowning Moment Of Awesome! No matter how shortlived that moment of victory ended up becoming, though.
Stadium [Chants] GO MEEN!Clap! Clap! Clap!Stadium [Chants] GO MEEN!
- Subverted to an almost nightmarish degree when the very same characters who were cheering in the stadium beforehand continued cheering even when Meen exploded to death from an unsightly basketball related accident.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Being a YTP this is bound to appear! The one that really takes the cake has gotta be Tom's death in "Chowderp's Ass Gets a Cesarian from the SOPA Administration". He's killed after mario pushes him into a meat grinder, all the while Creepy Circus Music plays. And yes- theres blood, lots of blood.
- Dirty Old Man: While the obvious candidate is I.M. Meen, due to his bad rep from other YTPs, in King's poops this applies more to the Old Timer from The Town With No Name. He drags a kid behind the outhouse to... well, take a lucky guess!
- Disney Acid Sequence: Subverted. While he does use trippy effects in segments of his poops, they are usually merely seconds long, rather than an entire musical squence.
- Don't Explain the Joke: ♪Cause two cracks are better than ooonnnneee!♪
- Eye Scream: Mega Mojo's eyes turn into static right before he goes unconsious.
- Fan Disservice: Especially so with Orphelia Chill! At first glance her dancing sequence is rather Nightmare Retardant with the peaceful music and all, but thats until you take a closer look at Orphelia from behind and realize she isn't wearing a bra. One can argue its a whole different beast In-Universe, as the drum-playing monkeys in the background seemed to be enjoying the view!
- Failed a Spot Check: When Cowboy!Fat Mario recieves his drink, he takes two glances to each side before enjoying his root beer. He didn't check well enough, though, as a split second later, more than 3 gun-men shot him down! They land more than five visible shots on him and continue shooting even after he's dead.
- Fearless Fool: Fat Mario becomes this many, many times throughout the poops, with him and whoever he's with getting into trouble soon afterwards. This seems to go hand-in-hand with Large Ham.
Fat Mario: We ain't afraid of no dark!
- Flipping the Bird: In a Blink-and-you-miss moment, Fat Mario does this towards the viewer.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: Used very often as a source of humor in his poops in the form of a poopism known as 'tech-text'. One appears near the 0:08 with a text of the sort which reads OOPS SORRY BAD SIGNAL.
- Funny Background Event: When the Old Timer takes part in a short musical piece, it's pretty amusing (or Squick, depending on who you are) to see Kagura of all people having sex with Donkey Kong!
- Genre Blindness: Cowboy!Fat Mario does his best to keep his cool when he enters a Bad Guy Bar, but unfortunately, his Genre Blindness gets ahold of him. In fact, he proceeds to openly mock the Bartender as soon as he gets there!
Fat Mario Hey princess! Get me a root beer.Bartender I don't approve of CD-i.
- This, of course, ends with the expected result.
- Gorn: It's been starting to pop up very frequently.
- Hormone-Addled Teenager: Mega Mojo becomes this in an instant in "Mega Mojo Attends the Furry Convention", complete with several zits on his face!
Dr. Light: It appears you have gone through puberty!Mega Mojo: Wut?Dr. Light: Thats a good question!
- I Do Not Own: Played straight. Like many other poopers, he has had to resort to the usage of these and other disclaimers in the descriptions of his videos to avoid any possible issues with copyright.
- Jerkass: Fat Mario has shades of this in King's poops, especially in the poop he stars in, "Mario's Triforce Of Toaster Causes Much Confusion And Delay". When he comes across a pack of sky-dwelling docile, singing dinosaurs he reacts by shooting them down! All while displaying a smile on his face...
Fat Mario Hey YOO!*Gun Cocks*Fat Mario Fuck offa my cloud!'
- Taking this trope even futher, it could be concluded that KingHarky himself is this to the characters he places in his poops at times, going through many lengths to make them suffer, one way or another!
- Master of Disguise: I.M Meen has been a furry enthusiast, a Spaghetti Western indian, a Basket Ball player, note and even a flying fairy-person. See also Jack of All Trades.
- Contrast with Bowser whose flimsy disguise falls apart in mere seconds after putting it on!
- Musical Episode: With the YTPMV segments KingHarky includes in his poops, his videos are gaining a bit of a musical theme.
- Never Trust a Title: There must have been quite a few furry enthusiasts who got pissed when they realized "Mega Mojo attends da Furry Convention" didn't have any actual furries. Indeed, among the people who saw the video there were those who saw it when searching up 'furry sex' on You Tube... but those were a minority!
- Oh, Crap!: Bilbo Reilly feels pretty good about himself when he fights that dastardly pop-up and wins. But then he sees a huge pack of them out of the corner of his eye...
- One Mario Limit: Inverted and played literally in these poops. Far from being the only Mario to appear in the YTP's, Fat Mario is merely one of several expies which make appearances, only distinguishable due to a different art style or voice actor! However, it should noted that this trope has been associated with YTP long before KingHarky began YTPing.
- Pen Name: Obviously.
- Quality over Quantity: It takes King months to deliver a one minute poop. Granted, he isn't by any means a professional video editer, so it takes him quite a while to finish his works!
- Screamer Prank: Parodied in "VI: Goggle- Forgot the Penish Lubricator". While the scream seems pretty terrifying at first,note especially to those who weren't expecting it, that reaction of fear is soon watered down when you realize it's just Retard Abraham Lincoln.
- Sensory Abuse: Ear Rape is also starting to become a favorite technique of his.
- Shout-Out: Too many to count!
- ShrugOfPooper: You'd think that the person who made these wacky videos would have any clue as to what they're about, or what they're deeper meaning (if there is one in the first place) is! In other words, he is essentially clueless note about the meaning of his Poops just as much as the audience is! Lampshaded by one of his former channel titles on You Tube: I don't get it either
- Sliding Scale of Comedy and Horror: What first began as light comedy, has now become a strange mix of both horror and comedy. For instance, contrast this video, with this one.
- Subverted Kids' Show: All of King's poops are made, at least in part, using sources that were originally intended for kids as their main audience, and when he starts messing around with them... well, lets just say that stuff like the following pops up!

- Surreal Humor: What do you expect from something titled, "Chowderp's Ass Gets a Cesarian from the SOPA Administration"?
- The Perfectionist: KingHarky doesn't release a video unless he feels its perfect. Compare with Quality over Quantity above.
- The Stinger: A second or two after the 'credits' of "Mega Mojo Attends da Furry Convention", we get a rather unnerving clip showing Dr. Light's disembodied head. Oh yeah, and aside from the red eyes of evil it speaks, too.
- Another example of The Stinger occurs near the end of "Simplicity: Bobert Goes to Mars" when tech-text depicting "cut-off" appears just moments after the 'ending' of the poop. Ironically, 'cut-off' itself got cut-off by You Tube!
- They Killed Kenny Again: Almost every single regular character has died or been physically attacked in some form or another. Of course, they always seem to spring right back by the next video. In fact, regulars Fat Mario and I.M Meen have died several times already, sometimes more than once in the same poop! This trope is averted with Ganon who died in a train wreck and hasn't come back since. Usage of this trope in King's work normally overlaps with Unexplained Recovery.
- Transformation Sequence: In one segment of "Chowderp's Ass Gets a Cesarian from the SOPA Administration" Tinker Bell shows up out of the blue to transform Schnitzel into a hapless Thwomp. Why? Because.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: In Bilbo Reilly's Acute Case of Telly Block, Bilbo takes three shots at I.M Meen and the video ends right there.
- Word Of Pooper: This whole page can be considered as such, as it is written by the titular pooper himself.
- KingHarky's stated in the YouChew Poop forums that his first poop came to be as a result of a canceled project he was making on Movie Maker. When he obtained a much better editing software, he scrapped the project and decided to remake it in Sony Vegas. However, rather than remake the whole thing, what he ended up making was simply an extension of one of the segments in the original project.
- Like-wise, "Bilbo Reilly's Acute Case Of Telly Blocks" backstory is that due to having a lack of ideas for a The OReilly Factor episode, Bilbo began going deeper and deeper into a pit of insanity, soon settling upon what he thought was the best theme: a Cowboy Episode. note
- KingHarky's stated in the YouChew Poop
- Vulgar Humor: Strangely averted. While KingHarky does include what he considers vulgar humor in his poops, it is so bizarre and strange, that often, the viewer has no idea what the joke was in the first place! For instance, near the end of his first poop, Dr. Rabbit says they note should floss Fat Mario out of the tree he's stuck in. All the while he's standing in front of a sign that reads "Sex Help 5 cents".
