    General tropes 
Tropes applying to all characters:
  • Death Is Cheap: Any character can be killed, but brought back with little or no explanation.
  • Depending on the Writer: The characters can differ greatly between parodists.
  • Flanderization: Their personality traits from the original film are exaggerated for humorous effect.
Tropes applying to most characters:
  • Ascended Extras: A large amount of the characters used in the parodies had very limited roles in the actual movie, with some only showing up for one scene.
  • Butt Monkeys: Many of them are to some extent, though Hitler gets the worst of it. Fegelein is the main exception, causing suffering rather than receiving it, though even he's not immune to some occasional slapstick.
  • Catchphrase: Hitler's underlings usually greet him with:
    • "Heil Hitler!"note 
    • "Mein Fuhrer"note 
  • Evil Minions: Though definitely not the competent kind.
  • Historical Villain Downgrade: They're not even remotely as threatening as their historical counterparts.
  • Laughably Evil: Whether they intend to be or not.
  • Nazi Protagonists: They're also Unsympathetic Comedy Villain Protagonists.
  • This Is Gonna Suck: This is most of other characters' expression before Hitler starts his ranting in the original bunker scene.
  • Trolls: Almost all of the characters have at least one video dedicated to them purposely annoying Hitler in some way. Hitler himself will occasionally become this as a way of getting revenge on them.
  • World of Snark: Virtually every single character in the series at one point has made a snarky remark or joke while speaking in a serious tone of voice, though there are some characters that do it more often than others.

Main Characters

    Adolf Hitler

The dictator of Nazi Germany. Due to the Battle of Berlin (which is still being fought into the present day), Hitler is stuck inside the Fuhrerbunker beneath the Reich Chancellery. He is constantly enraged by every problem, both big and small, and always has a furious rant about something.

    Hermann Fegelein

An SS officer and "Master of Antics", a prankster who enjoys harassing Hitler and others. He is the Fuhrer's sneaky arch-enemy, constantly evading punishment for his actions.
  • Achilles' Heel: Computers apparently, according to the Hitler office rage video.
    Hitler: See how you like this, Fegelarse. [throws computer monitor at Fegelein]
    Fegelein: Are you mad? You could have killed me.
  • Adaptational Badass: In Downfall and in real life, Fegelein was only an assistant to Himmler and got shot for desertion upon trying to leave the bunker. In the Internet videos, he's an outright Reality Warper.
  • Adaptational Villainy: The real life Fegelein was an assistant of Himmler and while he did commit serious war crimes he still fell short of his fellow high member Nazis, here he can prove Eviler than Thou to Hitler often.
  • Ambiguously Human: The fact that he can survive and/or come back from just about anything, combined with how absurd some of his antics are, raises some serious questions...
  • Ascended Extra: In the original movie, Fegelein was a fairly minor character, who ended up Killed Off for Real. However, his desertion causes Hitler to have a meltdown, so he tends to be behind whatever nuisance Hitler is ranting about at the moment.
  • Big Bad: The most recurring antagonist, though he's just as much of a villain as Hitler is.
  • Big Good: Plays this role in Der Disneygang, where he leads the Disney characters in a rebellion to retake Disneyland from Hitler and the Nazis.
  • The Casanova: He's often shown to be a notorious sexual pervert who flirts with any woman he encounters, including Eva (which in one parody, he admitted to be better than Gretl), Traudl, Gerda, and an unnamed redheaded mistress in what appears to be a brothel, right before Peter Hogl arrests him. It's only Magda whom he has no interest in amongst the female cast.
  • Catchphrase: "Wie bitte?"note 
  • Characterization Marches On: In many of the earlier videos, Fegelein was The Ghost with Hitler ranting about finding upon suffering from another one of his antics. Fegelein eventually made it into the later videos where he would be impossible for Hitler and the staff to find despite being Hidden in Plain Sight. Nowadays, he (or any versions of him played by Thomas Kretschmann) is actively conversing with the rest of the cast.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He just loves to smugly mock Hitler and other people during his antics.
  • Depending on the Writer: Whether Fegelein is some kind of immortal wizard or not will vary. There's also a few parodists who are willing to have Fegelein punished.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: In the Hitler Rants Parodies videos, Hitler often refers to Fegelein as "Fegelarse". Various videos also give him other unflattering nicknames, such as "Foolgelein" or "Fuckgelein".
  • Enemy Mine: Despite constantly pulling antics to Hitler, he has worked with Hitler several times; like in the "War of the Hitlers", or when Hitler tries to eliminate the entire Westboro Baptist Church.
  • Evil Sorcerer: Not surprisingly, he turns out to be one of these in "Hitler Becomes a Wizard".
  • Fake Defector: During the War of the Hitlers, he was tasked by Himmler to pretend to defect to Real Life Hitler's Reich in order to steal the alien technology and sabotage them. Since he was already The Friend Nobody Likes who nearly everyone in the Bunker already suspected would betray Hitler if it looked like things were going against them, he pulled it off without a problem and even scouted out the main headquarters of the aliens and Real Life Hitler to finish them off in one go.
  • Faux Affably Evil: He maintains a playful attitude while he gleefully ruins Hitler's life.
  • Hero Antagonist: Subverted - while his antics only target Hitler, and Those Wacky Nazis making up his inner circle, the only reason he does it is to piss Hitler off (without trying to justify it as "Pay Evil unto Evil"), and his antics range from over-the-top to downright sadistic.
  • Historical Badass Upgrade: The real Fegelein was just an ambitious, opportunistic SS officer. This version of Fegelein is a full-on Reality Warper.
  • Historical Hero Upgrade: Zigzagged. On one hand, he's dedicated his life to antagonizing Hitler (who generally isn't nearly as nasty as his Real Life counterpart and is, in fact somewhat pitiable). However, this still makes him better than the Real Life Fegelein, who murdered tens of thousands of Jews during the invasion of the Soviet Union, and was described by Albert Speer as being the most personally unpleasant member of Hitler's inner circle.
  • Implacable Man: Nothing can stop Fegelein from committing antics on Hitler. See Joker Immunity and Nigh-Invulnerability below.
  • In-Series Nickname: "F-Man" and "Fegel", the latter of which is often used as a prefix for anything related to Fegelein.
  • Jackass Genie: In "Hitler's Three Wishes", Hitler summons Fegelein in the form of a wish-granting spirit. It goes as well as you'd expect.
  • Joker Immunity: Big time. He's even been compared to the Joker.
  • Karma Houdini: He gets away with most of his antics, though there are some very rare exceptions.
  • The Mole: In the "War of the Hitlers" series, he is shown defecting to the side of the Real Life Hitler, but it's later revealed that he only defected to the enemy's side just so he could find the location of their secret superweapon and give that information to Downfall Hitler.
  • Nigh-Invulnerability: The few times Fegelein has been caught and even killed, he comes back like nothing ever happened. It's been taken to its extreme a few times. Hitler did once try to have Göring eat Fegelein, but it failed.
  • No One Could Survive That!: There are lots of attempted murders on him, most of which are done in sadistically over-the-top ways, only for him to return completely unscathed.
  • Obnoxious In-Laws: Hitler and Fegelein are brothers-in-law, as Fegelein is married to Eva's sister Gretl. note 
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: The only reason he can be treated as a remotely heroic character is because the people he are doing it to are considered political laughing stocks.
  • Reality Warper: His trickster powers enable him to do so; he can even feign death and reappear to torment Hitler.
  • Sadist: He enjoys annoying and tormenting people For The Lulz.
  • Smug Snake: Subverted most of the time. Fegelein is extremely cocky of his ability to make Hitler's life miserable and getting away with it. And he has every right to be since Hitler frequently fails to either find Fegelein or kill him permanently. Sometimes it's double-subverted when Fegelein pushes his luck too far, like when Germany won the 2014 World Cup despite his best attempt to rig the game so that Hitler would be denied to see his team win.
  • Sore Loser: Does not take Germany's victory in the 2014 World Cup Final well, to the point that he discourages Eva from celebrating the occasion.
  • Troll: Or "Antic Master" as he prefers to be called. His antics range from mundane pranks to criminal acts to surreal sorcery. He often torments Hitler and the other Nazis, much to their dismay.
  • Why Won't You Die?: This whole video is about everyone discussing failed attempts to kill him right in front of him, and outright calling him out why he won't die.
  • Your Answer to Everything: Antics.

    Otto Gunsche

A tall SS officer and Hitler's assistant. His job is to inform Hitler of everything he doesn't want to hear - from bad news, to redundant information, to even nonsensical statements. After informing, Hitler tasks Gunsche with finding Fegelein. He also asks Hitler of his opinion on various subjects, usually in the format of a "review" or "pros and cons" segment.

    Alfred Jodl

A Wehrmacht general, known for his prominently bald head, as well as almost always disagreeing with Hitler's plans.
  • Adaptational Badass: In the original film, Alfred Jodl only objects to Hitler's plan once but remains loyal to his Führer out of fear and misplaced honor, never pushing back again after Hitler's outburst. In the parodies, due to the Flanderization of the aforementioned scene, Jodl is regarded to be the only man who can oppose Hitler's plans and live to tell the tale several times.
  • Ascended Extra: Jodl actually has the least amount of screen time compared to his fellow generals in the bunker in the original film. Shortly after Hitler's infamous Villainous Breakdown, Jodl quietly gives his goodbyes to Hitler as he departs from the bunker during a montage and he's never mentioned again. Keitel at least got a proper departure scene, while Burgdorf and Krebs remain with Hitler to very end. However, since none of them ever openly objects to Hitler's plans, Jodl has risen into prominence as Hitler's Commander Contrarian.
  • Bald of Evil: He's often mocked for his shiny bald head, especially by Hitler.
  • Bearer of Bad News: In the Original Bunker Scene rants, Jodl informs that Steiner failed to execute Hitler's plans.
  • Butt-Monkey: He gets no respect from Hitler due to both his baldness and objections. Sometimes he's even the butt of other people's jokes and insults.
  • Commander Contrarian: His only purpose is to object to whatever comes out of Hitler's mouth. Of course, the one plan he agreed to (getting a pay raise) was the plan Hitler actually wanted him to object to.
  • Depending on the Writer: Sometimes he's the Only Sane Man whose reasons for objecting to Hitler's plans are entirely sensible. Other times he's a less reasonable person who objects for reasons that are immature, petty, or even outright nonsensical... assuming he's not just objecting for its own sake.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Baldy", "Mr. Clean", "Baldilocks", "Dr. Evil Rip-Off", "Hairless Ape", "Uncle Fester", "Bald Fuck", and "Bald Virgin".
  • Historical Badass Upgrade: The real Alfred Jodl was a witless Yes-Man, always agreeing with Hitler on military plans that actually would never work. Here, Jodl is one of Hitler's biggest critics, constantly objecting to his plans whenever he finds a flaw. And he's almost impossible to remove from the chain of command, to Hitler's dismay, as Jodl is popular enough to form his own rebellion that can bring the Third Reich to its knees.
  • Not So Above It All: While often the Only Sane Man, it seems that Jodl objects just for the sake of being disagreeable, which may make him as eccentric as the other Nazis in the Fuhrerbunker. He'll also object for reasons that make no sense at all, or are just petty and/or childish.
  • Only Sane Man: Often the case, particularly when Hitler's schemes are on the verge of lunacy.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: He wears three different disguises when he tries to be a successor as the Führer. None of them fool Hitler.
  • Servile Snarker: To the point that in more recent Hitler Plans videos by hitlerrantsparodies, Jodl throws all respect out the window and begins the video with "What kind of stupid plan are you planning now?"
  • Vetinari Job Security: Being the Commander Contrarian to Hitler seems to be a useless job as Hitler is never happy with Jodl's criticisms and always proceeds to do the plan regardless. But whenever Hitler tries to replace Jodl with an obedient Yes-Man, it always leads to the near destruction of the Third Reich which forces Hitler to reinstate Jodl back to his old position again.
  • Virgin-Shaming: Hitler frequently mocks Jodl for his apparent virginity, almost as much as his baldness (often implying the two are connected.)
  • Yes-Man: Inverted; he often, if not always, objects to Hitler's plans.
  • Your Answer to Everything: Objecting.

    Wilhelm Burgdorf

A Wehrmacht general who is known for his drunkenness, bad singing, trying to fire his gun at the slightest provocation, and being the best friend/boyfriend of Krebs.

  • The Alcoholic: Even more so than in the original film. Drinks whenever Hitler rants or Fegelein trolls him. Or even when nothing happens.
  • Berserk Button: He seems to really hate it when Fritzsche goes anywhere near a telephone, for various reasons.
  • Catchphrase: "Poor old man."
  • Commander Contrarian: While nowhere near the level of Jodl, he often objected to Hitler's rants during the early videos and sometimes still does if the Original Bunker Scene is used. When drunk, he also mocks Hitler as "Poor Old Man."
  • Depending on the Writer: His relationship with Krebs. Sometimes they're friends, sometimes they're lovers, but they're always closely linked.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Fast-Talking Boozing Burgdorf" and "Burger-Dork".
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Literally, given how eager he is to whip out his gun; sometimes at the slightest annoyance.
  • Hollywood Tone-Deaf: Known for his infamously terrible "Singing Burgdorf Incident" intended as a Hitler Youth commercial.
  • I Call It "Vera": Refers to his Walther PPK as his "magnificent gun".
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: It's implied he may have been driven to the bottle by the sheer insanity of what goes on in the Fuhrerbunker.
  • Jerkass to One: He seems to really have it out for Hans Fritzsche, to the point of repeatedly trying to murder him.
  • Large Ham: Though not as hammy as Hitler.
  • Motor Mouth: He can rant very quickly.
  • Trigger-Happy: He always unsuccessfully attempts to shoot Hans Fritzsche (if not other characters like Hitler, Fegelein or Justin Bieber).
  • Your Answer to Everything: Drinking alcohol, gunslinging, and/or singing "poor old man".

    Hans Krebs

Another Wehrmacht general who has a strange obsession with maps and fish. He is the best friend/boyfriend of Burgdorf. He points at maps for Hitler during planning/ranting sessions, and is sometimes sent to speak with the Soviet general Chuikov.
  • Berserk Button: Mocking his fish, or touching his maps.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: His obsession with fish often veers into this territory.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Often daydreams about his beloved maps and fish. Even in some parodies where a map wasn't needed, he's still pointing at the maps.
  • Companion Cube: Loves pointing at maps.
  • Cunning Linguist: Like his film counterpart, he can speak Russian along with German. However, his actual skills in Russian language varies from parody to parody. One particular parody depicts him to be so bad at Russian that he ends up proposing a body piercing and blowjob to Chuikov rather than the peace negotiations Hitler wanted.
  • Death Glare: Gives a surprisingly intimidating one to Chuikov when they're negotiating something.
  • Depending on the Writer: His relationship with Burgdorf. Sometimes they're friends, sometimes they're lovers, but they're always closely linked.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Krebs the Map Pointer", "Fishman", and "Map Pervert".
  • Fetish: Maps and fish, of course.
  • Improbable Weapon User: Tried using his maps and fish to kill Fegelein at least once.
  • My Hovercraft Is Full of Eels: Hitler once tried to send him to get a peace treaty with the Soviets because he spoke Russian. The results were... mixed. Suffice to say, the negotiations failed.
    Krebs: I talks Russian as my second mother's tongue. We speak about the piercing and shitting this ridiculous wall. Great Der Fucker Adolf Hitler sends myself to perform this heavy blowjob.
    Krebs: From my butt I produce this waiter of most great importance... agreement of piercing.
  • Mr. Exposition: Usually the one to explain the situation at hand.
  • Noblewoman's Laugh: In one scene, where one of Goebbels' children bumps into him. Parodied henceforth and in some lengthened versions of the Bunker Jokes fused with Hewel and other drunks laughing.
  • Something Something Leonard Bernstein: The German word for "fish" is "Fisch" and pronounced similarly to English. However, that is not the word he says. It's Bewegungsunfähig (immobilised or unable to move). However, Krebs says it so obscurely and rapidly that it ends up causing a "ssh" sound thus it ends up as Bewegungsunfish.
  • Tranquil Fury: Slips into this when negotiating with Chuikov, leveling a Death Glare while all but hissing in Russian.
  • Verbal Tic: "Fish."
  • Yes-Man: Jodl will object to Hitler's plans, but Krebs will instead support them and provide suggestions where his fish can help. However he's nowhere near the level of Goebbels.
  • Your Answer to Everything: Map pointing, and/or responding everything with fish involved in it.

Major Characters

    Heinrich Himmler

An SS general, and Fegelein's mentor in antics.
  • Depending on the Writer: Though most Untergangers make him an ally of Fegelein, Hitler Rants Parodies' version seems to be loyal to Hitler (though he simply refuses to do the weird tasks that the Fuhrer gives him, instead asking Walther Hewel to do them).
  • Evil Mentor: He's the one who taught Fegelein the art of committing antics.
  • Faking the Dead: Does this in the "War of the Hitlers" series in his plans to get the Allies to supply reinforcements, having faked taking a cyanide pill when captured by the real life Hitler's forces.
  • Four Eyes, Zero Soul: Wears glasses and is amongst the least humorous characters in the bunker.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Seeing as Fegelein is the big trickster in the bunker and he is the understudy to Himmler...
  • In-Series Nickname: "Himm-Dawg"
  • Jive Turkey: Talks like this in Viva La Fegel 2, but drops it soon after.
  • Lazy Bum: As mentioned above, Himmler usually refuses Hitler's tasks and instead gets Hewel to do them.
  • The Prankster: He's also involved with Fegelein's antics.
  • The Starscream: Against Hitler, usually. Hitler is usually made aware of this at dinner.

    Hermann Göring

The Nazi aviation minister, who is morbidly obese and devours all food in his reach.
  • Ascended Extra: He has a relatively small role in the movie but, courtesy of a behind the scenes clip where Mathias Gnädinger appears and has a lengthy conversation, the parodies drastically expand his involvement in the events.
  • Berserk Button: Losing his watch.
  • Beware the Quiet Ones: When he loses his watch, he gets angry enough to scare Fegelein.
  • Big Bad: In ''Hitler Sends Göring to Africa" series.
  • Big Eater: The inhabitants of the bunker make all sorts of comments and jokes about his eating habits.
  • Character Tic: Looking at his watch and picking his nose.
  • Cordon Bleugh Chef: In Cooking with Hermann Göring, he tries to make a healthy juice by blending French fries from KFC and chocolate together. He even tells the audience more fat items would make the juice even healthier.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: In "Hitler works at" series he threatens Hitler to perform nasty acts on him such as farting on his face all because Hitler refuses him to give absurdly large amount of food.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Fatty", "Fatass", "Snorlax", and "Sack of whale blubber".
  • Extreme Omnivore: He'll eat anything, even stuff that's inedible for normal people.
  • Fat Bastard: He is extremely obese and focuses on nothing except for eating his food (and stealing others' food as well).
  • Fat Idiot: He usually isn't depicted as being very bright.
  • Heavy Sleeper: 12 hours of sleep is not enough for him, apparently.
  • I'm a Humanitarian: He's tried to eat human beings before, such as Hitler and Fegelein.
  • The Load: Never does anything that doesn't involve eating, and sometimes fails at even that, like the time he tried and (he so claimed) failed to eat Fegelein. Hitler repeatedly refers to him as a worthless tub of lard.
  • The Quiet One: Subverted. In the beginning, all of his appearances relied on one silent cameo, in which he grumpily looks on his watch, playing this trope straight. But later parodies featuring him utilize a behind the scenes interview with the actor, who's actually quite chatty.
  • The Starscream: Tried to betray Hitler and his fellows during War of the Hitlers to Real Life Adolf Hitler to save himself. He was punished for it by not being allowed to eat.
  • Suddenly Voiced: In some videos such as WonkyTonkBotty's parodies, he's voiced in the courtesy of Heavy Weapons Guy.
  • Villainous Glutton: Incredibly fat, unkempt, and has terrible table manners. He'll sometimes steal others' food as well.
  • Your Answer to Everything: Eating.

    Wilhelm Keitel

    Martin Bormann

Reichsleiter and personal secretary to Hitler. He generally tends to inform Hitler about bad news, as well as scrape his chair across the floor.

    Wilhelm Mohnke

A Brigadier General in the SS.

  • Bearer of Bad News: Though he can bring good news as well. One parody even has him about to deliver the news that the Reich won a decisive victory against their enemies... just when Hitler freezes time itself convinced the war is lost.
  • Country Matters: One of Hitler's planning sessions involves Mohnke interrupting his plans by calling him a "cunt".
  • Deadpan Snarker: Occasionally can be.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Mohnkey," "Bonkers", "Echmon", "Uncharismatic Oaf", and "Chinless Wonder".
  • Only Sane Man: He's more helpful and down-to-earth compared to the others, although he may have a few quirks.
  • The Reliable One: Even Hitler thinks so. His exposition and advice is usually helpful and Hitler rarely, if ever, rants at him. Goebbels however appears to hate him, as he's always seen yelling at him.
  • The Rival: To Jodl and Krebs. He once even tried to replace them as plan adviser and head map-pointer, respectively.
  • The Stoic: Much like Keitel, he always keeps a straight face and no-nonsense attitude.
  • Troll: When Hitler started a "Hitler Helpline", Mohnke appears twice. The first time he calls the helpline himself to request someone tell Hitler to stop asking them to find Berlin while they're in Berlin and that he's making them all look stupid with this waste of time. When Hitler asked him if he's aware he's talking to the Fuhrer, Mohnke replies "yes". The second time is when Goebbels calls up the helpline but is interrupted by Mohnke's arrival, and Goebbels asks if Mohnke has something to ask the helpline too. Mohnke (knowing Hitler can hear him over the phone) bluntly states the helpline doesn't actually help anyone.
  • Yes-Man: Hitler once briefly replaced Jodl with Mohnke as a plan adviser, as the latter would only accept his plans instead of rejecting them.

    Ernst-Robert Grawitz

    Albert Speer

An architect, inventor, and salesman who works for the highest bidder.
  • Affably Evil: He may help Fegelein out with antics, but boy does he sure do it with class.
  • Arms Dealer: Often supplies Fegelein and Himmler with antic related items, and probably created the Pencil of Doom for Hitler. In fact, he is called as the "Antic Dealer" by the Untergangers.
  • Bearer of Bad News: He's the one who often informs Hitler of the deaths of famous people. Notable for being the only times Hitler doesn't fly into a rant but rather sits in solemn and even tearful silence.
  • The Casanova: Is the essential playboy of the bunker, able to woo really any woman, rivalling Fegelein.
  • Covert Pervert: Stares at Traudl's breasts quite often.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Speerhead", "Speerarse", "Spare", and "Spear".
  • Friendly Enemy: While he and Hitler are generally on opposing sides, the two have a fairly cordial relationship.
  • Gadgeteer Genius: Sometimes responsible for some of the Schizo Tech floating around.
  • Heel–Face Revolving Door: Sometimes he aids Hitler, sometimes he aids Fegelein, though most parodists revolve around the latter.
  • Honest John's Dealership
  • Magic Wand: Constructs one for Hitler in "Hitler Becomes a Wizard". It doesn't exactly end well.
  • Mentor Archetype: Tries to be this for Hitler in the above parody, but the latter brushes him off.
    Speer: I'm disappointed in you. I didn't create this wand so you could wave it around like a toy! You're better than this. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility!

  • The Reliable One: Despite often teaming up with Fegelein, Hitler seems to respect him more than just about anyone else in the Bunker.

  • Badass Adorable: Despite crying a lot, she has vocally made it clear in some videos that she will not stand for Fegelein's shenanigans.

  • Butt-Monkey: Is treated as the "Meg Griffin" of the bunker.
  • Damsel in Distress: Plays this role in several videos that depict Gunsche going up against Fegelein.
  • Drama Queen: During the Original Bunker Scene, Hitler's ranting always drives Gerda to tears, while Traudl comforts her.
  • Friendship Moment: She is always quick to comfort Traudl whenever she's having a breakdown at Eva's parties, as well as help her escape when the building gets hit by an artillery shell.
  • Gasshole: Apparently, she gets extremely gassy after eating taco bell. Much to the annoyance of Hitler.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: With Traudl.
  • Informed Deformity: She isn't considered to be as pretty as Traudl.
  • Prone to Tears: Gerda cries A LOT for pretty much no reason most of the time.

  • Drama Queen: She has a habit of personally kneeling, begging, and crying at Hitler's feet (very literally).
  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Mrs. Skeletor" and "Mother Marowak".
  • Kubrick Stare: Like her husband, she has her own Stare of Doom.
  • Mrs. Robinson: Is this to nearly all the characters. There is not one man or woman that she has not laid eyes on.
  • Nervous Wreck: A side-effect to her and Goebbels' loyalty to Hitler.
  • Neutral Female: Cares very little for what ever Hitler or Fegelein is up to.
  • Really Gets Around: She has cheated on Skeletor multiple times with people including Hitler, Eva, Traudl, Gerda, and Speer.
  • A Foursome Is Hot: How she convinces Hitler to let her "spend time" with Eva in the aforementioned video, as she offers to throw Traudl and Gerda in as well.
  • Unwanted Spouse: Both she and Skeletor share a mutual disliking of each other, with them both eventually wanting to find someone new.

    Walther Hewel

  • Embarrassing Nickname: "Hewel the Weasel" and "Ambassador to Nowhere".
  • Lazy Bum: Will sometimes disregard Hitler's tasks, including flat-out refusing to kill Fegelein in this video.
  • Mr. Exposition: Serves this role in several videos, to the point where Himmler tends to use him to explain everything to Hitler.
  • The Prankster: In real life, Hewel actually loved antics (with Joachim von Ribbentrop being his most frequent victim), thus making him historically, the real "Antic Master". In the Parodies, he's the ringleader of the "Bunker Jokes" Series where he and some officials get drunk and mock various Downfall characters.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: Himmler is this to him, as he always tries to make him do odd tasks for Hitler.
  • The Storyteller: Hitler has him read bedtime stories to him every night before he falls asleep.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Despite committing suicide via cyanide and a bullet to the head, he always ends up returning.
  • Wide-Eyed Idealist: He usually is always the one to tell Hitler to look on the brighter side of things when Bormann informs him of bad news.

    Helmuth Weidling

    Robert Ritter von Greim

  • Adaptational Dumbass: Most parodies generally depict him as far dumber than he is in the movie.
  • The Ditz: He usually isn't portrayed as being very smart.
  • General Failure: Is generally considered to be completely incompetent and incapable of doing anything useful.
  • Yes-Man: Will usually go along with anything Hitler says.

    Hanna Reitsch 
A German aviatrix that always tags along with Ritter von Greim to Hitler's dinners.
  • Adaptational Dumbass: While she wasn't stupid in the movie, she's one of the dumbest characters in the parodies.
  • The Ditz: Like von Greim, she isn't seen as being particularly bright.
  • Yes-Woman: She also agrees with Hitler's explanations.

    Rochus Misch 
Radio operator of the bunker who frequently plays a minimal role in things.

    Hans Fritzsche 
Nazi official whom Burgdorf has tried to shoot millions of times, but always fails.

    Peter Högl 
An SS officer who pulls Fegelein out of bed to arrest him. He often attempts to execute Fegelein, but usually fails. This is either due to Fegelein supposedly being immortal, or pulling another one of his tricks.
  • Catchphrase: "Grüppenführer, sie stehen unter arrest!" note 
  • The Executioner: His job is to arrest anyone who gets on Hitler's shit list and gun them down without mercy. Especially Fegelein, though he usually somehow manages to survive each attempt.
  • More Dakka: He uses an MP40 submachine gun for executions.
  • Professional Killer: He is basically Hitler's primary assassin. However, his main target (Fegelein) almost always eludes him.

    Peter Kranz 
A Hitler Youth member who's often seen fighting in the Berlin streets.
  • Bratty Half-Pint
  • Child Soldier: As a Hitler Youth conscript.
  • Demoted to Extra: Peter played a more prominent role in the original movie, but in the parodies he doesn't really appear too much.
  • Just a Kid: Is called this at first, but then impresses everyone when he shoots Fegelein down. note 

    Goebbels children 
The six kids of Joseph and Magda Goebbels. They consist of their son Helmut, and their daughters Holdine, Hildegard, Hedwig, Helga, and Heidrun.

    Ernst-Günther Schenck 
An SS colonel and doctor. One of very few genuinely rational characters in these parodies.
  • Demoted to Extra: Despite having a major role in the movie, he isn't used a lot in parodies; when he is, it's usually for a cameo.
  • Only Sane Man: In the "Assassination of Hitler" series, he's one of the few people that sees how pointless and hopeless the whole fight to become the new Fuhrer is.
  • Super Doc: In "Hitler and Operation Plumparossa", Hitler mentions that Schenck can cure them of their obesity.

    Vasily Chuikov 
A Soviet general who commands the Red Army forces invading Berlin. He is often seen meeting and talking with Hans Krebs, who is negotiating on Hitler's behalf.
  • Cavalry Refusal: During the "War of the Hitlers" series, Krebs goes to him trying to get reinforcements from the Soviet Union to fight off Real Life Adolf Hitler. However, Chuikov reveals he can't provide any assistance and instead needs to ask Krebs for Downfall Hitler's help, as at the same time the Soviet Union is being hammered by the Eastern Coalition and desperately needs both reinforcements and supplies.
  • Companion Cube: His closet, which he shoves a lot of people and objects into. He also has a box of army medals (which are sometimes actually candy) that he casually hands out to his subordinate officers to look more professional.
  • Hammerspace: His closet can contain an infinite amount of people in there, including the entire bunker staff or even a portal to Narnia.
  • Irony: The epilogue of the "War of the Hitler" series reveals after Stalin's death by Eastern Coalition forces, Chuikov becomes the new leader of the Soviet Union, and is ultimately forced to surrender unconditionally to the Coalition, leading to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Basically, he's in the same position the Nazis were in after Hitler's death when he demanded unconditional surrender.
  • Token Minority: He's the only Soviet Russian character who's referred to by name and has a speaking role.
  • Your Answer to Everything: Stuffing things in a closet.

    Felix Steiner 
An unseen SS general whose job is to help out Hitler with his plans, no matter how absurd they are.
  • General Failure: Played with depending on the parody. He usually fails to carry out Hitler's plans and tasks for some reason, but he does occasionally succeed (but then Hitler or one of the others screws it up). During the War of the Hitlers, he was mentioned by several in the Bunker as doing exceptionally well at facing off against the other Hitlers' armies, but was ultimately defeated by the Real Life Hilter's forces.
  • The Ghost: Due to not having an actor in the original film, he is only talked about and never actually seen. This has been lampshaded many times.

    Walther Wenck 
Another unseen Nazi commander who Hitler sometimes involves in his plans, but not as frequently as Steiner.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Near the end of "War of the Hitlers", Wenck manages to get all soldiers from all the fallen Hitlers under his banner, assembling a force of at least one million soldiers. He then saves the day for the Downfall Hitler, who nearly lost all hope.
  • The Ghost: Just like Steiner.
  • Irony: His role in the "War of the Hitlers" is effectively an Allohistorical Allusion to his Real Life self, as here he does provide the reinforcements Hitler desperately needs to turn the tide of the war back in his favor (ironically against another Hitler).
  • Spanner in the Works: Were it not for him gathering the large army, Downfall Hitler would have taken his own life in despair, essentially letting the Real Life Hitler win the War of the Hitlers.
