Wick Check input (100 examples)

  1. Characters.Codex Equus Second Age Heroes: Her very first Drabble depicts her annihilating an entire interstellar empire which had repeatedly attacked the sector of space she was supervising, levelling civilization, devastating planetary surfaces, shattering celestial bodies and killing trillions of sapient beings (who admittedly had it coming) in a matter of minutes, hours and/or days.
  2. Recap.Star Trek Discovery S 2 E 08 If Memory Serves: Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right!: Pike disobeys General Order 7 to return to Talos IV to pick up Burnham and Spock, then goes rogue when ordered to go to Starbase 11 once Burnham and Spock inform him what the stakes really are and what the Red Angel is trying to prevent. The rest of the crew don't even wait for him to make the standard "I'm about to disobey orders" speech to give them legal cover before they announce that they're with him.
  3. YMMV.The Blueballs Incident: Narm Charm: Even despite its silly origin, the mod is still unsettling at its best and downright horrifying at its worst, especially once you read the logs after the credits and watch MaliciousBunny's connected videos. Similarly, Stairway looks a little silly flying in the second half of "Pteromerhanophobia" by flapping its arms up and down, but the remaining factors (the Ominous Visual Glitches, Stairway's Nightmare Face, the minor Apocalypse How in the background) keep it an incredibly climactic - and frightening - moment.
  4. Fanfic. At The Edge Of Lasglen: An engineered plague wipes out ninety percent of humanity in 2037. A few small societies survive, due to advanced warning, isolation, or sheer luck, but only Iceland, which is capable of being largely self-sufficient, retains anything close to modernity.
  5. VideoGame.Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: Disappointed by the Motive: Master Eraqus is upset that Master Xehanort is trying to cause a massive imbalance in light and darkness, obtain the χ-Blade, and throw Kingdom Hearts itself into complete chaos. Any one of those goals coming to fruition would be catastrophic, but all of them at once would potentially jeopardize the existence of every world. However, Eraqus is even more upset when he finds out that Xehanort is planning to do all of this because he just wants to know what would happen. Eraqus sums up his disappointment by saying "You would risk an apocalypse out of sheer curiosity?!"
  6. Fanfic.A Jump To The Left: The Mad Max world results from a Societal Collapse that was so devasting that industrial civilization was destroyed, and knowledge of the 21st century is only remembered as a myth. Though unlike Fury Road, there's no mention of the Water Wars just prior to the Great War, just the Oil Wars.
  7. Recap.Doctor Who S 31 E 11 The Lodger: The Doctor says that if the time ship tries using him as its pilot, the ship will blow up and take the solar system with it in a Class X-2.
  8. NightmareFuel. The Cabin In The Woods: And last but not least, The Ancient Ones, the evil deities who threaten to destroy all of humanity, lest they are appeased by the bloody sacrifices of innocent people every year. Keep in mind, these aren't some mindless beasts who simply feed off of death and destruction, they're purely evil beings who relish in the deaths of innocents for their own entertainment. When Dana and Marty finally put an end to the bloody ritual, they end up sacrificing all of Earth, and the angry gods finally emerge from the ground to obliterate the world. In the final shot of the film, we see an Ancient One's colossal arm reach out from the surface, destroying the titular cabin and killing our remaining heroes. Whatever happens after the screen cuts to black is up to your imagination.
  9. Roleplay.Fifteen Strangers: Class Z. The Thalmor's entire reason for existing is to initiate this on a borderline Original Negation scale, bar none. And they would have succeeded if it weren't for those pesky Strangers! Thankfully it ends up just as an Omniversal 404.
  10. VideoGame.Mega Man X 5: Sigma intends on launching what could be a Class 3 to Class 4, as he intends to wipe out humanity, and possibly all biological life, off the face of the planet.
  11. Characters.Song Of Memories: Class 0 if the Pandemic breaks out. Confirmed to escalate to at least a Class 3 in the Bad endings.
  12. Characters.Jurassic Park Non Dinosaurs: Caused a destructive plague on a regional scale, since they were only able to affect a few regions before they were ultimately stopped, but it's made very clear that if they weren't they could have very easily caused a global ecological collapse and threatened to extinct humanity.
  13. MeaningfulName.Literature: In The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny one of princes is called Brand - which in German means "fire" or "flames". He is a highly dangerous (and more than a bit crazy) Evil Redhead. What is more, he likes literally playing with fire (has this cigarette-lighting trick) and would love to see the world burn.
  14. Literature.Interstellar Gun Runner: Kruthara is spreading across the galaxy, consuming everything with the even slightest bit of human DNA.
  15. NightmareFuel.Megamind: A quick one that's often glossed over, but at the beginning of the movie, we get the wonderful sight of not one, but TWO ENTIRE INHABITED PLANETS BEING DESTROYED BY A BLACK HOLE. The inhabitants don't even have a chance to escape. Only one infant from each planet is able to make it off.
  16. Characters.A Song Of Ice And Fire Valyrians: Class 0—Regional, Societal Collapse. The Doom, a cataclysm of an unspecified nature, which destroyed Valyria and formed the Smoking Sea. Valyrian magic, knowledge and recorded history was lost. Now the area is said to be haunted by demons. The few brave enough to venture to Valyria's ruins don't come home.
  17. Film.Reminiscence: Class 1, Most of the earth is massively flooded due to a global disaster, society is still intact but is forced to live by night due to the extreme temperatures in the day, could slide into Class 2 or 3b.
  18. Manga.Remina: Physical Annihilation of the Solar System by Planet Eater, to be exact. Given that stars go out in Planet Remina's wake, it presumably dishes out Stellar-class apocalypses casually. Remina seems to play with its food in the case of the Earth, leading to devastation from deflected missiles and then extremely-accelerated rotation.
  19. Characters.Warriors Orochi: Sole Survivor: He is said to be the only Norse god to survive Ragnarok. It turns out that he's not alone.
  20. WesternAnimation.Captain Planet And The Planeteers: Mix-and-Match Critters: The animals in "Planeteers Under Glass" were all hybrids. And did we mention that there is also a flying cyber-demon during the time that the Apocalypse Class is spiked up to Class 6?
  21. Film. The Last Man On Earth: After the End: As in the original story, the movie is set after a terrible plague has unleashed undead hordes on the Earth. Vincent Price spends all his free time researching for a cure and killing the undead.
  22. Recap.Black Mirror Demon 79: On a planetary level. As the clock strikes midnight and Nida misses her task, life on Earth gets wiped out by nuclear hellfire.
  23. ComicBook.Echo: Class-X at a minimum. The full properties of the Phi-project are still being explored, but we know that if a single test-bomb is detonated, or the Arctic collider is activated, there goes the Earth. What we do not know is if the "there goes" part will stop with Earth.
  24. Anime.Digimon Adventure: X-5. Apocalymon attempted to destroy both the digital and real worlds with an explosion which was contained by the Digivices.
  25. WorldOfWarcraft.Tropes M To R: My God, What Have I Done?: Earthbreaker Haromm, one of the Kor'kron Dark Shaman who force the elements to obey their command, says "The elements... What have we done..." as he dies. Algalon the Observer in Ulduar is a herald of the Titans, whose job is to determine if planets were developing according to the Titans' plans, or if they were deviating too much, such as being corrupted by an Old God, in which case the whole planet was to be "re-originated". When players fight and stop him, he comments on their resolve to save Azeroth, and regrets that in the eons he had been doing this, he never considered the countless lives he wiped out. Garrosh attempts to inflict one of these unsuccesfully on Warlord Krom'gar. He quickly realizes that Krom'gar felt no guilt or remorse for what he had done and quickly gets rid of him. Garrosh: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
  26. Characters.Star Of Providence Bosses: Its Monster Compendium entry indicates that a certain being, similarly to Null, obtained Power Eternal and spent their last moments destroying the facility and most living society around it (likely akin to the mirror practice boss portrait).
  27. Literature.Stielauge Der Urkrebs:
  28. Characters. The Order Of The Stick Divine Beings: Class "Universal/Physical Annihilation", it is capable of tearing the world apart in minutes once it is unleashed.
  29. YMMV.The Invitation 2015: Nightmare Fuel: The ending. Will, Kira, and Tommy survive the party's devolution into an outright massacre, which is definitely awesome. But then they stop outside and find the red lantern David lit earlier. Looking out in the distance, they see other red lanterns lighting up and start hearing dogs barking, people screaming, and police sirens blaring. Which means only one thing: they weren't the only ones put through the horrors of the Invitation that evening. And before the credits roll, we're left wondering how big is this Invitation event? Is it just in the neighborhood? The city? Or could the world itself be coming to an end?
  30. Awesome.Quantum Break: The fact that Monarch has prepared for the End of Time for 22 years is a CMOA in its entirety, developing Chronon Harnesses that allows Monarch soldiers to move during stutters, cutting edge weaponry that is able to fire in a zero-state environment, Chronon Dampeners to nullify Shifters, whose powers allow them to plow through soldiers during a stutter with ease, and the Lifeboat Protocol that shelters Monarch from being destroyed during the End of Time. Hell, the Lifeboat Protocol could've worked if it weren't for Hatch's machinations and Jack's intervention as he found out that the centerpiece of the Lifeboat Protocol is the Countermeasure.
  31. VideoGame.Postal 4 No Regerts: Of the Local Area variety. Halfway through Friday, due to a doomsday cult poisoning the water supply, the entire populus of Edensin has gone postal.
  32. Characters.Invader Zim Membrane Family: Being Good Sucks: Doesn't matter how many times he saves the day (or at least tries to), he'll almost never get credit for it and often will end up having something bad happen to him for his efforts. Though to be fair, bad things happen to him even when he's being selfish.Gets played to the extreme in the comics: Dib still is not able to garner respect even after successfully defeating and capturing Zim, leading to the creation of the Half-Human Hybrid, Apocalypse How bringing abomination known as Zib.
  33. Recap. My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic S 5 E 26 The Cutie Remark Part 2: Chrysalis, Discord, and Tirek's timelines seem to result in at least Regional/Societal Collapse, although Tirek's may end up as far as Regional/Species Extinction. The last timeline appears to be Regional/Total Extinction, provided it only affects Equestria.
  34. Music.Suffocation: Somewhere between Class 2 and Class X in "Mass Obliteration".note the lyrics at various points imply small pockets of humans left living on a wretched husk, or simply a "World Explosion" Predictably, it's all humanity's fault.Nuke 'em / World War III: How they got there. The lyrics of "Cataclysmic Purification" drop a reference to the supposed Mayan Doomsday Calendar, and the music video depicts at least a Multi-cellular level extinction event, with the earth being wreathed in flames.
  35. ComicBook.Deaths Head II: Catspur suffers planetary extinction due to explosions ravaging the surface of the planet - there are only two known humanoid survivors, Noon and Heron, and both are killed shortly thereafter. Death's Head still managed to run into something tentacled, vicious and subterranean - so some life remains, at least in the short term - but the world is laid waste, the ecology's ruined and most species are dead.
  36. Literature.Iron Gold: He Who Fights Monsters: Darrow fears becoming this in the opening chapters of Dark Age, but he never actually goes this far.Orion, on the other hand, does. After being tortured by the Fear Knight and his Gorgon commandos, Orion has lost faith in the Solar Republic. Combined with the fact that the majority of the mid and lowColors of Mercury have been indoctrinated against the Republic, and when Darrow orders her to use the Storm Gods Darrow unearthed to create storms strong enough to screw up communications between Atalantia's legions, she ignores his orders and attempts to generate storms of Apocalypse How-size, something Darrow promised their Mercurian supporters they would not do.
  37. TabletopGame.Rocket Age: In the past Eris faced a Class X, while Mars and Io have faced Class 4 level events.
  38. VideoGame. The Silent Age: Class 3B: The Plague destroys humanity.
  39. Recap.Star Trek The Next Generation S 6 E 18 The Chase: The Klingons trigger a Class 6 on Indri VIII.
  40. SoYouWantTo.Write A Science Fiction Story: Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic: fiction set After the End. The Apocalypse How can vary — disease, war, ecological disaster, astronomic impact, zombie plague — transhumans run amok — but this brand of fiction typically involves itself with Action Survivors struggling to rebuild, or at least survive, as everything comes crashing down around their ears.
  41. Pantheon.Love Other: Like his fellow half-bloods, Jason hates Kratos for killing both his father and his patron saint, along with subsequently destroying the world in the process. And like the other half-bloods, Kratos is unconcerned regarding Jason, simply stating that if Jason wishes to die just like his old man, Kratos will be more than happy to fulfill his request. Piper also hated Kratos for seemingly killing her mother... until Piper was informed as to what Kratos had actually done to her mother. Nowadays, the subject of Kratos is usually a sore spot for Piper, who usually retreats to her temple whilst muttering "nope" to herself whenever Kratos is brought up in a conversation.
  42. Characters.Pokemon The Series XY Villains: Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: He wants to outright destroy the world, and tortures Ash and Greninja onscreen, so yeah, he qualifies.
  43. Webcomic.Old School Melonpool: Aborted Arc: More than once in the later stages of the strip, including the original post-time-travel-induced-Class-Z reboot, which was replaced - completely - by a more modest reset of its own that lasted before its complete reboot in 2014.
  44. Literature.Spider Man Sinister Six Trilogy: The Gentleman's plan turns out to be a Class 1. By detonating a memory-wiping EMP and an ink-destroying airborne Catalyst over New York, all paper and electronic records (including money marking) will be destroyed. Since New York is a world financial capital, this will have devastating effects on American currency and the world economy, and definitively turn New York into hell on earth.
  45. Fridge.Heroic Myth: When first summoned, Caster remarks that if he were incarnated, he would do something about how the world works. Later, after Behemoth Alter is defeated, he tells the executives of Loki Familia that if he were integrate himself with the world, he would destroy Babel so that monsters would roam the world once more. This is so that only the worthy, the real heroes, would survive.
  46. AlasPoorVillain.Western Animation: The death of Spider-Carnage in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. He was a demented, Ax-Crazy loon who was trying to set of an Omniversal Metaphysical Annihilationapocalypse, but when he has a Heel Realisation and kills himself it's all but impossible not to feel bad. There's just something about seeing someone with the face of the show's hero brought so low that not only does suicide seem like a good idea, it's the best option that there is.
  47. StoryBreakerPower.Anime And Manga: Alastor is the God of Atonement. Manifesting physically is his "I Win" card. In the novels (and movie), he plays this to incinerate the first villain. The anime saves this for the climax of the first season, in which he blows up everything, sends the Big Bads fleeing, and saves the city from an impending overload of energy all by just showing up. He doesn't even have to fight at all—he's just that powerful. However it's supposed to kill the Flame Haze that does it (Shana thankfully is capable of surviving it) and the manifestation requires a truly MASSIVE amount of Power of Existence. Unless there's an external source nearby, his mere presence in the human world would create a reality-killing distortion.
  48. Manga.Alice And Zoroku: Art-Style Dissonance: This manga is drawn in simplistic and plushy style but its theme is somewhat dark, dealing with reality-warping, child abuse and potential existential threat.
  49. VideoGame.Remnant From The Ashes: Botanical Abomination: The Root itself, a demonic tree-like Alien Kudzu that caused a Apocalypse How. Some beings, such as the Ent, are examples themselves, with the Ent in particular being a wooden Cthulhu. They're also an extradimensional Eldritch Abomination that has absorbed countless other worlds.
  50. AllForNothing.Video Games: Darkest Dungeon, fitting its incredibly dark and hopeless tone, ends with one of these. The Heart, the source of the corruption is a transcendent being that is truly immortal, "killing" it only stalls its inevitable growth. One day when efforts fail and it grows fully, it will erupt from the planet's crust in what's likely to be a Class 6 or Class X Apocalypse How. The player character is broken by this truth and seeks solace in the same way as the ancestor did, with a new descendant arriving to repeat the same cycle until the world inevitably ends with the alignment of the stars. Worse, the Thing From the Stars, assuming it's not the egg form of the Heart, means that even if humanity somehow manages to truly neutralize the Heart, there will always be another Eldritch Abomination out there ready to prey on humanity.
  51. RobotChicken.Tropes S To Z: Storyboarding the Apocalypse: If you give a mouse a cookie, the world ends in nuclear holocaust. And that's why Mommy had to stab Daddy.
  52. WebVideo.Door Monster: Accidental Pun: Future Kyle wears glasses because the future is bright. As in actually bright; Kyle somehow caused the sun to explode and ignite the entire Earth. The Swedish Historian remarks that, while Denouncing Venice became popular, a lot of people were still staunch boat mormons.note Staunch comes from Stanch, which means watertight. One of the Door Monster crew knows old English, so it was likely intentional
  53. ComicBook.Lilith: A planetary Class 3. A remnant of humanity survives underground, but any return to the surface quickly invites swarms of the Triacanto.
  54. YMMV.Black Lightning 2018 S 3 E 9 Earth Crisis: Like You Would Really Do It: Black Lightning's third season was scheduled to end in March, meaning the Class X-4 apocalypse that ends the episode would never have stuck no matter the long-term consequences for the status quo.
  55. Characters.Fantastic Four Central Rogues Gallery: Super Loser: Once fought with the Beyonder, in a clash that could've destroyed the universe, because he blamed him for his relationship issues with his girlfriend.
  56. Characters.Hunie Pop 2: Class X-3. They can destroy galaxies, and Kyu's description suggests this has happened more than once.
  57. Literature.Emberverse: Class 2, Planetary/Societal Collapse. About 95% of Earth's population dies off in the first few years after the Change. Most of the world's existing civilizations are destroyed during "the dying times," and are replaced by entirely different ones.
  58. Literature.Rollerskater: This happens multiple times.Arc I ends with a Class X-4 event in which everything is destroyed and overwritten. Arc II undoes this, but not without consequences. Arc III describes this happening to Geb's society in the distant past as a result of running out of penumbric, resulting in a Class 2, and the subsequent birth of modern civilisation. Arc IV ends with a Class 1, which could have gone further if the heroes hadn't stopped it. The lasting impact is felt throughout the world, and the old order collapses as a result, bringing it down to a Class 0. Nobody is that bothered by it.
  59. Literature.The End 2018: The comet impact is a world-ender, a.k.a Class 5.
  60. Literature.Homecoming Saga: Expy: For the Book of Mormon. In order to get around the serious problems stemming from Joseph Smith's stream of consciousness 19th century narration (stupid names, stupid plots, being really boring, being incredibly racist, wanting to get laid), Card changes most of the characters names (and Nephi [knee-fi] is now Nafai [nyeh-fi]) and definitely changes their culture. Instead of being a random colony of Jews that traveled to the Western Hemisphere in wooden submarines and dealt with the evil brown people living there (turning some white, genociding others), they're space Russians whose ancestors fled Earth after a nuclear war rendered it largely uninhabitable, and are now returning to The Promised Land and dealing with the Angels (giant singing bats) and Diggers (giant rats that smear themselves with mud).
  61. Pantheon.Villainous Archetypes: Portfolio: Evil light-using (also darkness in higher forms) Fallen Angel, mon version of Lucifer/Satan, wanting to eliminate free will and make all beings worship him, conducting the Digital World's destruction to remake it into his ideal, Order Is Not Good, rather cute for how evil he is, increasingly monstrous evolutions, Rage Against the Heavens, Complete Monster Falldown Mode: Bishōnen Line, Good Wings, Evil Wings, Fashionable Asymmetry, Mercury's Wings, Oxymoronic Being, Yin-Yang Bomb Satan Mode: Apocalypse How, All Your Powers Combined, Dark Is Evil, Dragons Are Demonic, Can't be Harmed At All as Long as Gehenna exists, Our Dragons Are Different, Purple Is Powerful, Lucemon's most Monstrous Form. Larva Mode: Clipped-Wing Angel, The Devil Is a Loser, Our Angels Are Different. Lucemon X: Unholy Halo, Gold and White Are Divine, Gold-Colored Superiority, Person of Mass Destruction, Super Mode.
  62. Film. These Final Hours: Class 6 — the asteroid impact is implied to destroy all life on Earth (Rose mentions her dad describing the Earth being "peeled like an orange" and later on in Freddy's panic room James tells Vicky that the room is pointless since it's not buried deep enough for anyone to survive).
  63. ComicBook.Gambit 1999: It's revealed that New Sun's initial power overload, when channeling the energies of the Old Kingdom's long-dead king, killed everyone on his Alternate Universe's Earth and caused massive worldwide destruction. At the end of Gambit and New Sun's final duel, which takes place on a dead Earth in an Alternate Universe, Gambit overloads New Sun by feeding him all of his own power as well. When New Sun's Impaled with Extreme Prejudice shortly afterwards, the energy released is enough to "evaporate" the planet.
  64. Fanfic.Sixes And Sevens: Anthea witnessed Hela start the collapse of the Minoan Civilization in a Class 0 regional disaster by triggering the volcano on Thera (Santorini) to erupt.
  65. ComicBook.Star Trek DC Comics: Karimea suffers a Class 6.
  66. Characters.Mario Plus Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Delivers a Class X5/Class Z as it's attempting to destroy both the Mario universe and the Rabbids universe and has the ability to destroy entire realms.
  67. Recap.Loki Episode 3 Lamentis: Implied Class X with the moon Lamentis-1 in 2077, as it's on a collision course with the planet it orbits.
  68. Funny. After Hours: In the Apocalypse How episode: Katie: Now you all think that you could shoot Michael in the face if you had to, but could you? Soren, Dan: (without hesitation) Yes. Another example, when Mike talks about his apocalypse scenario being an asteroid hitting Earth: Mike: I want total, unavoidable armageddon, like in that movie Deep Impact. It's The End of the World as We Know It, and I feel like sticking it in stuff. And the Brick Joke using 28 Days Later as an example for both failing to kill a zombified loved one and having Glad-to-Be-Alive Sex. The Freeze-Frame Bonus with the movie poster for "Asspocalypse" has "Oh God Oh God Oh God" scrolling along the top section.
  69. Literature.Prophets House: Lysandra plans to execute a Class 6 with an eye toward rebuilding in her own image.
  70. Recap.Nadia The Secret Of Blue Water E 22 Electra The Traitor: Tartessos is a Class-0 instance.
  71. Literature.Peace On Earth: Class 1, due to global electronic disruption.
  72. Recap.Sword Art Online Alicization Arc: Vassago threatens a variant of Class 4 to Asuna, threatening to kill her and everyone else in the Underworld, human, demon and monster alike, including his own forces, to get Kirito to awaken from his coma.
  73. FanficRecs.Sponge Bob Square Pants: Synopsis: That's right, someone is actually writing a full-length The Ugly Barnacle! We're going to learn who the titular barnacle is, how he came to be so ugly, and how his disgusting visage heralded the apocalypse and the death of every living creature in the world. Word of God says here that "the barnacle's ugliness [will cause] nothing less than the Metaphysical Annihilation of the Universe."
  74. Film.Pontypool: Presumably class 1 if the infection is contained to the English language; class 2 or 3 if it jumps to other languages. The events during the end credits suggest that a class 1 event is imminent, given that the infection is spreading.
  75. SelfDemonstrating.Bill Cipher: MY BELOVED WEIRDMAGEDDON! TIME IS DEAD AND MEANING HAS NO MEANING! IT'S THE ULTIMATE PARTY!
  76. Webcomic.Scurry: Class 3a, as humanity has disappeared after a nuclear war, leaving only the remote wildlife still standing. It's not clear if people went mad first, then launched the nukes, or the shock of nuclear doom drove them mad. Either way, planet Earth has become Mouse World, though with more than just cats as the antagonists.
  77. Characters.Yu Gi Oh Arc V Xyz Dimension: Class 1, Civilization Disruption. A majority of the citizens have been sealed away and there aren't that many left. The once bright city of Heartland has now been reduced to a dying wasteland.
  78. Film.Ghostbusters 1984: Attempted. But where do you slot the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man in the scale?
  79. Characters. The Sorcerers Apprentice: Her plan is either Class 2 or Class 3a by raising an army of undead sorcerers.
  80. NightmareFuel.SCP Foundation SC Ps 001 To 299: Another possible SCP-001: a large onyx gemstone with an infinitely fine fractal gold filigree, apparently serving as a lock for an unknown object. Doesn't really seem scary, right? It turns out that the minute variations in the cosmic background radiation have the exact same pattern as this onyx lock. It's implied that our universe is contained in a similar object, and possibly the artifact in question. The Foundation is currently trying to open and/or destroy it.
  81. BattlestarGalactica2003.Tropes A To C: The series starts out with a multiple Class 2, the Cylons having reduced the Twelve Colonies to radioactive wastelands as they pursue the few survivors into space.
  82. Literature.Anathema 2014: No doubt about it: this isn't going to end well. The world can't handle superpowers, and the power surges are getting out of hand.
  83. Literature. The Passage: Either a Class 0 or a Class 1. Class 0 if the quarantine was successful, Class 1 if the virus escaped the North American continent. Largely left ambiguous.Confirmed as Class 1 in The City of Mirrors
  84. Recap.Doctor Who 2007 TDWAS The Infinite Quest: In the opening, Baltazar attempts a Class X by compressing the Earth along with all carbon-based life on it (basically all native life) into a giant diamond.
  85. WebOriginal.Codename Sylizar: Class X
  86. Theatre. The Sponge Bob Musical: Via volcanic eruption.
  87. ShoutOut.Pacific Rim: Whoever designed the Shao Drone Jaegers must've taken some cues from the Mass Produced Eva Units, as they have rounded features and a shiny white finish, and are mass produced and identical machines compared to the unique mainline piloted models. Their remote pilots even wear white suits with hoods and black lines that make them resemble the Mass Series even more. They're also turned into Organic Technology Eldritch Abominations due to the remote control technology used in their design and are explicitly meant to cause an extinction level Apocalypse How, but thankfully they are stopped before it could be fully implemented.
  88. Pantheon.Identity Issues: Unfortunately Zamasu came by and forced her to confront said past, utterly mocking and tormenting her with the information that Gero's love, twisted grief for their son, and paranoia for her safety was responsible for all the devastation the Red Ribbon Androids from 13 up to herself have caused. Citing her as a prime exhibition of the destructiveness of mortals, Zamasu even pointed out that if not for the inexplicably omni-compatible Earthling Soul in the linking system, she likely would've destroyed all life on Earth and beyond — which would've made her a prime target of his absolute justice.
  89. VideoGame.Plague Inc: Planetary Human Extinction is your goal. (Although the victory screen insists a Class 6 has occurred.) You can still get Regional and Continental Extinctions (which would effectively mean Global Collapse or Disruption, at the very least) if Humans successfully fight back. Even if you're very unlucky, the spread of your virus is guaranteed to cause Regional Disruption with all the closures and emergency measures.
  90. AGodAmI.Western Animation: She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Horde Prime starts out looking like a mere mortal dictator, but Season 5 confirms him to have an overwhelming God complex. His attendants and minions keep talking about how he sees all and knows all, he seemingly keeps a small army of clones just to provide ominous chanting while he ceremonially memory-wipes one, and he keeps ranting about how he is the light that will burn away all darkness. When Glimmer tells him that using the Heart of Etheria will destroy most of the universe, he's pleased — because that means that if he seizes it, he can remake it in his image.
  91. VideoGame.Wheels Of Destruction: After the End: The Apocalypse How is left unexplained, though it must have been a nasty one given the state of the major cities depicted in the game.
  92. VideoGame.Dead Space 3: Several, most having to do with Convergence events.Class One (Societal Disruption) is already happening on an interstellar scale for places being affected by Necromorph infestations, and it's likely to stay that way even after the Marker signals are ended. Class Three (Species Extinction) is what happened to the Alien Civilization that lived on Tau Volantis millions of years ago, most of their population being infested or assimilated into The Moon, and even when the Convergence is interrupted, the rest were left to freeze to death in the new, icy environment. Class 4 (Total Extinction) with elements of Class 5 (Physical Annihilation) for Convergence events. All organic matter in the planet a marker is on is drawn into a Brethren Moon, also assimilating chunks of the planet. and it would happen everywhere the target species spread a marker to, meaning it's often on an interstellar scale.
  93. Fanfic.Bound Destinies Trilogy: There Are No Coincidences: As revealed in chapter 35, Link's arrival in Termina during Majora's Mask just as Majora was going about its Moon Drop Apocalypse was no coincidence; rather, Farore guided him there after Terminus pleaded for help in containing the demon again.
  94. Literature.By The Light Of The Moon: Dropping chunks of the moon on Earth is at least a creative set-up for the story Tabankin always wants to tell, the rugged survivalist vindicated and a civil war between whatever is left of America.
  95. Franchise.Thunderscape: Societal Disruption, at least Continental, more likely Planetary. As for how, Darkfall employed many methods:Horde of Alien Locusts Turned Against Their Masters Zombie Apocalypse
  96. VideoGame.Resident Evil Village: A Class 0 for the village in question.
