This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

So what you're actually aiming for is to move the pages to these new titles, is that right?
I notice you already used Superhero Stories, which was created as a redirect, to move the list of works that was on Superhero to that location. This does not really strike me as the appropriate way to go about moving/splitting a page. It's essentially bypassing the process of TLP — the redirects created here are done so with the expectation of them being redirects, not new pages. At the very least, it's probably something that should have been discussed beforehand.

Could Sandbox.Vase De Noces be swapped in for Vase de Noces? I made the mistake of stumbling onto the page, but just couldn't seem to ignore the issues it had. For the record, my changes involved:
- Deleting Banned in China and Fan Nickname, which are already on the film's Trivia subpage.
- Using the description provided to add (at least some) context to Buried Alive, Driven to Suicide, and Offing the Offspring.
- Hiding some ZCEs. This included Bestiality Is Depraved. ("The most well-known scene in the film" isn't really context and I don't know or want to know what the Man x Pig scene contained).
- Adding dashes to "less than adequate"
Thanks.
I'd like to have an entry for Lovely People added on the Political Correctness Gone Mad page.
- Lovely People: The setting is ruled by a duumvirate made out of the One World Order and a MegaCorp that promotes inclusiveness in its social credit system. As part of the policy, the version of The Bible distributed by the MegaCorp is first modified to take social credit points away from its readers and listeners, who are later forced to choose between accepting an update of the content towards more inclusiveness or an even harsher social credit penalty. As the plot is overall written to promote a specific approach to Christianity, everything surrounding the Bible's update, be it the methods or what little is revealed about the new content, is overall portrayed as the inclusiveness policy of the ruling duumvirate going too far.

I've been thinking of adding this to YMMV.Death Battle under It's the Same, So It Sucks. It's a reaction that I've seen from a few people.
- "Batgirl VS Spider-Gwen" is one of Season 7's less loved episodes. Part of the reason for this is that it's basically a rehash of "Batman VS Spider-Man", including a similar outcome.
Manhwa.Appetite is in the wrong namespace; it should be in Webcomic/. Requesting a page history move.
Also, for another work, requesting a move of discussion page posts — from here to here

Mostly done to here, but I am not certain that the second pagemove Twiddler asked for is correct and the first needs some wick cleanup.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTo clarify: the work page WebOriginal.Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Six used to be in the Literature namespace (which was incorrect). There is some orphaned discussion page talk at the former location. I'd like that to be moved over to the new location. IIRC, the mods have a tool that allows them to move the contents of discussion pages and have done such moves before.
Wait, why was it moved to Web Original? Was there no better option?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I mean, it's kind of a fusion of web video and literature. And I'm pretty sure WebOriginal/ can be used in rare cases when the work doesn't cleanly fit into one other namespace.
Requesting to add an entry to Fallen Creator under the Comic Book section.
I asked on the Discussion page and seemed to get support, was told to request adding it here. Here's what I wanted to add:
- Ethan Van Sciver. Beforehand, he was one of DC's premiere artists, pretty much the defacto artist for Green Lantern since co-creating Green Lantern: Rebirth, leading to the franchise's massive revival in the 2000s, as well as similarly influential work in The Flash. But in the late 2010s, he became more known for his off-the-page work in supporting alt-right groups, courting controversy, and most prominently being the leading figure in the "Comics-Gate" movement. His descent into alt-right politics, his support (and encouragement) towards people who have harassed and abused his colleagues in the industry, and his own attacks against other creators and former colleagues, have pretty much left his reputation in tatters. DC let his exclusive contract expire without renewal and have not offered him any work since, so while he's not getting work from either of the Big Two, he's pretty much relegated to crowdfunded indie projects where his only audience is the members of his alt-right group. It's safe to say he will never get the esteem he once had within the industry at large.

Number one, why is Dolly Parton locked?
Number two, could someone please add this under "Answer Song" for her page?
- "You Can Have Him Jolene" by Chapel Hart has the "other woman" telling Jolene to take her man back now that she has found a better man.
The page is currently being edited by someone else. It won't be locked if you give it a few minutes.
The Return Of Chaos has ghost wicks. Can you recreate and cut and... I guess relock?
I noticed FanWorks.Friday Night Funkin got cut, but it's still on Locked Pages. I'm assuming it's not getting recreated anytime soon, so could someone remove it from that page?
It got locked b/c it was created three times in the span of a few days just to list links to mods. Since there's currently only one fanwork with a page here, I think it's fine if it stays locked a little longer. I'd rather not deal with that two-step again, anyway.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I've decided to unlock The Return Of Chaos as I don't think the lock is needed anymore. Moved the fanfic recommendations page to PRLC instead. Also got the Fallen Creator edit.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't think FanWorks.Friday Night Funkin is a PRLC candidate per se, there could eventually be enough fan work pages for a FanWorks/ page (for one thing, there are at least three fanfics on fanfiction.net that could have pages), but it can stay locked for now I guess. I mean, Administrivia.Permanent Red Link Club has the word "permanent" in the title, I expect it to last longer than potentially a few months.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Ah geez, I wasn't suggesting it get sent to the PRLC! Just that at the moment there isn't really a reason to unlock it.
There's a couple on AO3 too, not to mention the custom Week mods that have cutscenes.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I didn't think it should be PRLC'd either. I guess I forgot pages can be locked to prevent being recreated. And it was the only red-linked page listed, so I assumed it was out-of-place.
Requesting that Used to Be a Good Kid is redirected to Used to Be a Sweet Kid.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Redirect Song Parodies to Song Parody, please.
(overdue edit) I'm a dumbass and forgot the curly-bracket-and-line markup allows for those kinds of plural redirects.
Edited by mightymewtron on Apr 9th 2021 at 4:02:17 AM
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Mew, I don't think plural redirects are allowed.
Close enough to the word's singular form, so there's no need.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
If I must explain why I suggested this:
Before I split off sub-pages from Superhero Stories, the page was fairly long (over 2,000 links were listed). Though I figured that these new pages could also function as genre-medium indexes (see Horror, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Military and Warfare Works). There was already Superhero Literature, which currently redirects to SuperheroStories.Literature. Is there another forum thread somewhere that I can make such a suggestion?
