Her Start of Darkness was murdering and mutilating her sexually abusive father. Had she stopped there, Isla never would've turned her in, but Robin then decided All Crimes Are Equal, and developed a habit of doing the same to any man who mistreated women, leading to victims that ranged from genuinely monstrous abusers to guys who were just kind of boneheaded and insensitive to their girlfriends when Robin happened to be in earshot. Thanks to her mother blaming her for the abuse she endured, and the guidance counselor at her high school not taking her seriously when she tried to go to him for help, Robin's thoroughly convinced Violence Really Is the Answer. Isla turns her in, but asks the DA to have some mercy, since the girl's only sixteen, clearly traumatized, and never received proper help after a lifetime of abuse.

The Umpteenth Battle's second DLC campaign introduces the Chamber of All Knowledge, a supposed temple in the Bermuda Triangle that is home to all of the knowledge in the entire world. The chamber can only be opened by uniting two amulets. One amulet is in the possession of Big Bad Valerian, who hunted down hundreds of innocent people just to barely win it in a battle against a demi-god. The person who possesses the other amulet is Packrat... who found it lying in a garbage can in a back alley. Valerian, finding out about this, sics his troops on Packrat and his friends, kicking the plot into motion.

Piko centers around the titular caveboy who lives with his mother in a Hollywood Prehistory setting filled with dinosaurs and cavemen. Piko and the other characters occasionally have songs, and their voice actors are also known singers.

Literature/The Witch by the Ditch:

• We're meant to see Arlene as a disrespectful Bratty Teenage Daughter who dserves to be sent off to a covenant from bringing the witch into the house and dismissing her elders' warnings and not beliueving in God's miracles nor the Devil, but modern readers are much more likely to find her at worse a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who does try to help who she assumed was an innocent homeless person (it's the thought that counts at leasr) and doesn't try and retribution against her nasty (by 21st century standards) aunts and grandparents save mouthing off while trying to explain herself. It's telling [[Film/The Ditchwitch the film adaptation]] made her the hero and presents her atheism more positively.
• The witch herself. If you were taken off the street only to have to deal with horrible fundimentalists who accuse you of being pure evil nonstop, you'd snap and want to unleash hell on them too. This just makes her death by burning horrific rather then karmic. Likewise, the The Ditchwitch makes her much sympathic and even gives her a happier ending of giving Mee Maw hell for how she treated her.

This achievement is called "Burning Love."
  • If you Earn Your Bad Ending and don't end up with any of the girls, don't place in battle of the bands, piss off your parents, and fail your finals, you get an extended Black Comedy cutscene where you decide to live in the woods forevermore. This unlocks the secret achievement, simply titled, "Jesus Christ" with a picture of Yuki staring at you in disbelief.

deconstructed in Series.Billing Account where Bill and George visit Sandra's house, and comment on how it's too clean - not a speck of dust out of place. they lightheartedly bring this up to Sandra - and she breaks down crying. she wanted to make sure everything was exactly right for her guests and that they wouldn't have a single complaint. oops.

Huevos Rancheros is set before the American Civil War, but has entertainment radio. Proper radios (ie, the "wireless telegraph") wouldn't be invented until 1886, twenty-two years after the Civil War, with the hypothesis that such a thing was even possible being proposed midway through it. Radio with full audio transmissions wasn't invented until 1890, and radio as we know it (with an announcer, music, advertisements, Radio Dramas, etc) came around in the 1920's.

• The Rigelian Empire is trying to convert their current solar system (which is aptly described as a "Dyson swarm of all of the worst facets of human colonialism") into one of these by any means possible, going so far as to attack other solar systems to harvest their energy and resources. Rigelian astrophysicist Calum El'ghima defected from the Empire over disputes about the practicality of the project, opting to join your party (and potentially your harem) instead.
• Rumors afloat in the galaxy tell of the "Big D," a massive supercomputer that uses a star as its power source. Very few people have gotten in contact with the Big D, and those who have were unable to handle its massive size, let alone determine its ultimate purpose.

Rodentz features a cast of rodents and insects. Main character Martin the Mouse, Cythia the Cockroach, their adopted daughter Katie Caterpillar have toys, as well as most of the characters in this series. However, humans and larger animal characters, such as cat characters, have none.

The horror game Agoraphobia: The Fear Of Everything follows Tom, a man who is afraid of everything. His irrational fear of his surroundings causes him to hallucinate, imagining situations to be much worse than they actually are. When a mouse climbs on his leg, Jodi makes fun of him for overreacting because she can't see what he sees, which in this case is the mouse gnawing off his leg until nothing but the bone is exposed.

In the Kirby fan comic Kirby In The Mansion Of Imagination, Lux, the Light Is Good-themed young boy, jokingly suggests that this is the case with Kirby, before dismissing it. Considering Kirby is implied to be a product of Void, he might be on to something. On that topic, since Lux is later revealed to be Master Hand himself, this might apply to him.

In the 1054, a supernova was visible from Earth. The spectacular lightshow was taken to be proof of God's existance. Worldsmash! states this nova was a matter/antimatter interaction between an unknown alien race's homeworld and a Xlyxcynn envoy ship.

The fighting game Blazing Knuckle introduces Sirona, a siren who has come to Earth to become a pop star. Her hypnotic singing voice can lull anyone into a trance, and she uses it to secure her place in the music industry. Sirona tries to use her powers to lull Shock Jock into playing her songs on his radio show, which backfires because he is vehemently against the idea of Payola. In the game, she shoots concentrated bursts of her voice at her opponents to attack enemies, and she can sing her opponents into a trance, stunning them for an opening to attack.
