Episodes

    The Pilot
  • Already in the intro, where Kaufmo has been replaced with a cardboard cutout of himself. The cutout then promptly falls over and the message "*Disclaimer: Kaufmo the Clown did not show up today." is swiftly and crudely edited in.
  • As Pomni quickly finds out, the Amazing Digital Circus is a world where absolutely anything can happen... except for swearing because it’s an all-ages world.
    • Upon learning of this, Pomni proceeds to try every curse she can think of, cue Cluster Bleep-Bomb.
    • Pomni asks if there's a way to leave immediately after realizing that she cannot swear, almost as if she wanted to leave solely because she wants to be able to curse.
  • Caine shows Pomni the digital world through flash steps: every time he stops, her eyes start rolling in every direction.
  • Jax pulls off one of Zooble's arms to use as a backscratcher as he says that if there was an exit to the circus, they'd have all used it by now. The arm promptly chokes him when he finishes talking.
  • Caine, oblivious to the existential terror of Pomni forgetting her name, offers to help her pick a new one:
    • Caine's first suggestion for Pomni's name is XDDCC, read aloud from the slot machine that proposes it (complete with jaw contortions)
    • When he asks Pomni's thoughts on it, she only manages to get out the words "I don't-" before he agrees that it's terrible and moves on.
  • After deciding Pomni's name, Caine agrees with Jax's sudden idea of having another adventure... a little late on the draw.
Caine: Gadzooks, you're right, Jax, we should have a brand new adventure for our new member, Pomni!
Jax: I said that like five minutes ago.
  • Caine asking Pomni what she likes before an adventure.
Caine: YOU! Do you like adventure? Activity? Wonder? Danger? Horror? Pain? Suffering? Agony? Death? Disease? Death? Angel food cake?
(Caine holds out a huge loaf of cake. Bubble comes over and wolfs down the cake in one bite.)
Caine: (lividly) YOU PARASITE!!! (pops him)
    • In the German dub, Caine instead says "DU DRECKSACK-BLASE!!"note  In the Chinese dub, he calls Bubble a rice bucket, a slang in Mandarin Chinese for a gluttonous person.
  • Bubble keeps interrupting Caine's explanation of how "Gather the Gloinks" works, including asking more questions while Caine's still answering the previous question. Caine eventually pops him so he can actually get a word in edgewise.
Caine: (...) the entire circus tent will be infested with Gloinks, and you gotta catch 'em all!
    Bubble: But what are they?
Caine: I'm glad you asked, Bubble, they're small—
Bubble: And what do they do?
    Caine: They—
Bubble: And how do they— (is popped)
  • Caine refers to the Gloinks as "humanoid hashbrowns", despite them actually being small colorful shapes that (probably) aren't made of potatoes.
  • During Caine's explanation of "Gather the Gloinks", a purple Gloink grabs a piece of cheese. A green one then grabs the table the cheese was on and rolls away, causing said table to clip into the ground.
  • Zooble decides to leave after the adventure is announced and tells everyone to leave them alone. They try to Flip the Bird while delivering a Precision F-Strike, but are unable to do so because their hand is obstructed by a Censor Box and their delivery comes out as a Sound-Effect Bleep. Then out of nowhere, the Gloinks ambush them, and get into a Big Ball of Violence which dismembers them, and they all hop away with Zooble's parts mere seconds after the game begins. Jax, being Jax, has this response:
  • When the Gloinks tear down Kinger's pillow fort, he has this to say:
    Kinger: My impenetrable fortress!
  • When Pomni tries to rationalize everything that she's experiencing is All Just a Dream and should play along, Jax chuckles to himself about her denial. When Caine sets them off onto an adventure in gathering the Gloinks, he makes an Aside Glance and snickers about her still thinking it's all a dream. Except this moment also makes him look like he's staring at Ragatha instead, weirding her out.
  • When Jax forces Gangle, and Kinger, while calling them Crybaby and Hoo-Ha, to deal with the gloink infestation, he tells Ragatha that the two are the most mentally stable and capable people of the group. As he does, Kinger slowly begins shaking so fast and violently that he has motion blur, as if he was a character in SMG4 or a Garry's Mod ragdoll having a fit. All Gangle can do is look at him in worried confusion.
    • Then, after Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha leave, Kinger stops shaking and spends around two seconds staring at Gangle before shouting in surprise, saying that Gangle startled him.
  • When Pomni, Ragatha, and Jax are going down the hallway leading to everyone's rooms, they stop by to look at Pomni's room, with her portrait being a sad face with wide eyes. The scene cuts right after that to show Pomni is making the exact same face.
  • When the three arrive at Kaufmo's room, he doesn't answer their knocking. Undeterred, Jax brandishes a key and states he has one to everyone's room, which Ragatha is horrified at. Jax then comments that he might have left something in Ragatha's room.
Jax: By the way, I may have left something in your room today, so let me know if you find it. You're not afraid of centipedes, are you?
Ragatha: JAX! That's literally my only fear! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!
Jax: What, it could be a completely unrelated question.
  • When Ragatha is glitching out after having been attacked by the Abstracted Kaufmo, her facial features randomly start playing a game of Pong at one point.
  • When looking for Caine, Pomni opens multiple doors: one of them is a trap door with a boxing glove which punches her around (twice), and another one is a bathroom with a wooden mannequin taking a bath... who launches a screaming theatre mask directly at her. She quickly slams the door on it and it makes an impact dent on the door shaped like itself.
  • Jax throws a bowling ball at Kinger that makes him fall into the gloink hole. Over the course of the next 30 seconds...
    • Kinger grabs Gangle, slowly unraveling her as she slowly realizes what's going to happen before she falls in.
    • Jax casually hops in after them.
    • They all go down a twisting, turning slide that at one point makes them jump through a hoop, prompting a neon "RADICAL" sign to light up.
    • We see some bowling pin-shaped gloinks set up like a standard bowling lane. The bowling ball misses them. Kinger and Gangle, themselves rolling like a ball, topple nine of the gloinks. Jax lands on his feet and kicks the tenth, prompting a "SPARE" graphic.
    • Jax, clearly annoyed that he didn't get a strike, plucks the graphic out of the air and breaks it in half.
  • Kinger gets startled by Gangle a couple times throughout the pilot, so when it happens when they find the Gloink nest his scream gets perfectly cut off by the next scene.
  • In the Gloink lair, Gangle and Kinger play Rock–Paper–Scissors to determine who gets to help Zooble as opposed to fighting the Gloinks' queen. Gangle loses due to her "hand" being unable to form anything but paper.
  • This exchange between Jax and the Gloink Queen, which comes off as a bit of Leaning on the Fourth Wall:
Jax: This is dumb and weird.
Gloink Queen: (faltering a little) W-Well... but... yet, you're still watching it!
  • Caine having lunch with Bubble:
Caine: Oh, Bubble! You always know how to make me say this exact sentence!
    • For whatever reason, Caine apparently spends his time "off-screen", as it were, hanging around in a completely mundane looking restaurant. The sheer disconnect from the colorful Mind Screw aesthetics of the circus is what sells it.
  • When "rescuing" Zooble from the Gloink Queen, Kinger asks them if they experienced any game shows in her stomach.
  • After finding an escalator leading out of Queen Gloink's lair, Jax uncharacteristically steps out of the way for Gangle, saying "Ladies first", only to immediately lampshade it.
Jax: No, wait, why would I say that? (shoves Gangle over and walks in front of her)
  • After hearing Caine wonder why nobody told him about Kaufmo’s abstraction, Pomni, who went through a lot just to find him, just stares at the AI like she’s about to snap.
  • The following exchange:
Zooble: (Saying the first sentence while reassembling themself.) Man, I can't believe Kaufmo just gave up like that. No offense, Kinger, but I always thought you would be next.
    Kinger: Thank you!
  • The Digital Feast given as a reward for defeating the Gloink Queen.
    • Apparently, it was cooked up by Bubble... with all the love he's "legally allowed" to give.
    • Jax comments that he's worked up an appetite as a result of the adventure. Gangle reminds him that he didn't even do anything.
    • When Kinger explains that they don't require food in the digital realm, we get this.
Jax: Geez, lay off it. Since when are you an expert on the Digital World?
Kinger: (genuinely confused and horrified) ...Expert on the what!?

Misc.

POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE
  • The video opens with Pomni laying on the bed at her bedroom in a frozen position, staring at the top part of her bed. Then, as the camera shows her perspective, Caine pops up and Jump Scares Pomni and us. He asks Pomni to "guess what", to which Pomni responds with a simple "no". She's completely ignored by Caine, who carries on with his sales pitch.
    • Pomni is still in the middle of her Heroic BSoD from the end of the pilot, judging by the music and her wide-eyed stare at the ceiling. The fact that this snaps her out of it and brings her back to a relatively normal mood is funny enough on its own.
  • Caine starts off the announcement by saying that the Digital Circus will now be upgraded to a series due to the pilot reaching their goal of 1 view. Considering that the pilot at the time of the video had 271 million views, it's safe to say the goal was well passed.
Pomni: Is that... how that normally works?
Caine: Shut up! (without skipping a beat) I have so much to show you!
  • Caine demonstrates to Pomni the "little crying mark" her "little crying face" made on the Internet ("Something I don't canonically have any knowledge of"). It's completely pixellated.
Pomni: What the f(BOING!)k am I looking at?!
Caine: (takes off his hat in a gesture of reverence) The consequences of our actions! And it's only going to get worse from here.
    Pomni: O-o... oh, no...
  • The four "Adventures" Caine shows off to Pomni and the watcher. There's one set in the "Candy Canyon Kingdom", one that shows Kinger bashing something off-screen with a shotgunnote , and Jax working as a Burger Fool in an obvious McDonald's Expy. When the next turns out to be a screenshot of an untextured area in Autodesk Maya, Caine desperately tries to cover it up.
  • The Sun appears out of nowhere and threatens to kill Caine, all because she has no lines in any of the scripts while Moon has a whopping two. Caine promises that she will get some lines, and Sun instantly drops her murderous streak. The video continues as if this never happened.
  • After Caine reveals the many new characters (in a rapid-fire, single-frame showcase with split-second audio), freaks out at the thought of "the violent shipping wars that we'll be completely powerless to do ANYTHING ABOUT!"
Pomni: ...Is... Is this a cry for help?
[Caine slowly morphs into a static image of an actual bootleg Caine plushie]
    Pomni: I see...
[Caine suddenly turns back into himself with a *PLOP!* sound]
Caine: I blacked out for a second. What happened?
  • Some of the merch shown off are two Animatez figurines of Pomni and Caine that the latter is certain that "well-adjusted people can be normal and responsible with."

    Other Media
  • Gooseworx drew some Valentine cards featuring Caine and Pomni — the former being his usual self, the latter giving a lighthearted Take That! to what the internet will inevitably subject her to.
  • The pilot contains a link to a page on the Glitch Productions website called TheWackyWatch, acting as a brief promotional video for the show. In the video, an image of Jack Black is shown on two occasions, being labelled as a character named Jack.
  • A walk cycle video was uploaded by one of the show's animators, where the main six performers are walking: alongside Pomni walking nervously, Ragatha walking normally and Gangle walking depressingly, Jax is parading while watching the others with his smug face, Kinger is sliding on the ground while having his hands around the area that seems to be his hips, and Zooble keeps stumbling due to their right leg not being made for walking.
    • One week later, a run cycle video was released: Pomni is running like Woody, Kinger slides faster with less hip movement and arms up in the air, Gangle has her ribbon arms floating behind her like real ribbons, Ragatha is making exaggerated movements, Jax looks like he's confused as to what's happening, and Zooble... is zoobling.
  • Someone suggested that Glitch put the characters under a hydraulic press. Lo and behold...
  • Pomni and Caine's voice actors, Lizzie Freeman and Alex Rochon, voice a fan animation of them robbing a bank to Pomni's horror. Caine insists they're "adventuring" a bank and tells Pomni to keep up before he shoots the teller.
  • Also from Rochon, there's him reading out a Discord post as Caine. The post in question? Well...
Caine: (While "The World Revolving" plays and gradually speeds up) *SNOOOOOOOOOOORT* POMNI. I HAVE SNORTED A SUITCASE FULL OF COKE. AND I'M STARTING TO FEEL THE EFFECTS! HOOHOOHOOHOOHOO! OOOOOH! WHOOO HOO HOO HOO!!!
    • This was taken further by an animated version by Hobo Hobo, which had Caine saying the line to Pomni's cardboard cutout before deciding to shoot it in a fit of madness.
  • One piece of concept art shows Jax raising a pertinent issue that's arisen now that Pomni has basically replaced Kaufmo... There are too many girls now. Complete with a familiar pose. Also, Zooble is in their own category. Another set of art in the same post shows Kinger being, well, Kinger, complete with actual swearing and this bizarre quote - "I DON'T FUCK THE TILES!"
  • Some of the jokes spawned from the voice actor livestreams qualify:
    • One of the dialogue requests is Caine telling Ragatha that Jax is putting centipedes in her bed.
Caine: Hi, Ragatha! I overheard Jax talking about filling your bed with centipedes! Have fun with that!
Ragatha: Well, that's probably— WAIT, WHAT!? JAAAAAX!
Jax: (laughs) They're cuddle bugs! They love you!
    • Someone asked Amanda Hufford to try their hand at a crying voice for Ragatha. They comply, and hilarity ensues.
Ragatha: (sobbing) You... You want me to... cry!? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?
Jax: Ah, it's music to my ears!
Gangle: But you can't start crying, Ragatha, because then I'll start crying!
      Caine: Jax, you're grounded!
Jax: What do you mean I'm grounded!? What are you gonna do?
      Caine: Eat your peas, Jax.
Amanda: (out of character) He'll put you in the ground, that's what!
Jax: Well, at least it's not corn.
      Caine: Eat your corn, Jax!
Jax: Okay now I draw the line there, buddy.
    • Michael proceeds to joke that the "Jax getting grounded" part of this exchange will be probably used as fodder for a content farm, much to everyone's horror.
    • Marissa's attempt at singing the theme song leads to them replacing every character with Gangle.
    • Amanda is asked to say "I love you, Pomni" in-character as Ragatha. They end up playing it as Ragatha saying "I love you" to everyone... except Jax, who Ragatha is "on the fence" about.
Jax: You think I want your love? (beat) That's gay.
    • When Alex discusses shipping, Gooseworx herself pipes in on chat, ominously saying that she thinks she needs to "preemptively apologize to the BunnyDollnote  shippers". The voice actors all promptly panic.
    • Alex jokes that if Caine were to get infected by a Computer Virus, he'd compulsively say things like "CLICK HERE FOR FREE IPOD!" or "HOT SINGLES IN YOUR AREA!" every time he sneezes or coughs.
  • The Episode 2 trailer is initially narrated by Caine like it's a preview for an upcoming episode...only for the commentary to quickly deviate into a funny conversation between Pomni and Caine.
Caine: Sounds like a real radiant riot, right, Bubble?
    Pomni: ...Huh? Where am I?
Caine: What's wrong, Bubble? Why are you acting like you don't know who I am?
Pomni: Wha— I'm— I asked where I was, not who you are. Also, I'm not Bubble. What's happening?
Caine: It's called "Improv", Pomni! The first rule of improv is to never pretend you're not Bubble!
Pomni: What...does this have to do with the Candy Canyon Kingd--?
Caine: And, scene! It's gonna be a sickly sweet old time! I'LL SEE YOU THEEERE!
Pomni: I-I still don't really know anything about this epis—and I've been teleported into a meat freezer... Cool.

    Merch
  • The official merch video where plush versions of Pomni and Jax go on their own adventures including "Escape the Playground" (Pomni and Jax get thrown off a swing set), "Road-Rage Radness" (driving a car in gm_bigcity) and "Who killed Mrs. Killpatrick?"
Caine: Where were YOU on the night of the murder, Pomni?
Pomni: (Screaming since 'Escape the Playground', now suddenly silent.) Wait, what?
  • Aside from the merch video, some of the actual merch is rather silly.
    • This aptly named t-shirt which features Ragatha, Gangle, and Pomni struggling to not fall out of the pocket.
    • The Jax "iconic quote" jumper, which features a quote Jax has never said.
