Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Knight

  • Anti-Hero: The Knight personality is vicious in a fight, not remotely above crippling foes as a first resort.
  • Badass Cape: His costume comes with a flowing white cape.
  • Battle Boomerang: His arsenal includes bladed boomerangs not unlike a Batarang that can be used as both throwing weapons and knives for melee combat.
  • The Big Guy: Of the personalities, The Knight is the best combatant overall and generally advocates for more violent and brutal measures.
  • Broken Ace: He's a highly successful superhero, a member of the Defenders, and a business magnate to rival Sigurd Stark. But he never fully gets over the trauma of his aunt and uncle's death, his original personality never maturing far past childhood.
  • Cannot Tell a Joke: The Knight seems to have a different kind of humor than the rest of us.
Knight: In his honor, I start with my favorite joke — Grenades.
  • Child Prodigy: Science Pete is a scientific wizard who is implied to be the creator of all the technology used by Arachknight and the driving force behind Parker Industries' success. But in his mind, he manifests as his childhood self from before his Aunt and Uncle's deaths, explaining his excitability but also his clumsiness and skittishness in the face of danger.
  • Crocodile Tears: Zigzagged. Science Pete's tears of regret and remorse for attacking the Terrific Two are genuine, lowering the duo's guard. However, the Knight makes use of this to sucker punch Reed hard enough to entangle him with Ben.
  • Experienced Protagonist: By the start of his story he's already been active as a vigilante for years and the head of a successful conglomerate dealing in eight figure sums of money.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: The easiest way to tell Mr. Parker and Science Pete apart is by their hairstyles. Mr. Parker keeps his hair neatly slicked back, while Science Pete tussles his hair into a more youthful style.
  • Expressive Mask: As per Spider-Man standard. They also glow in the dark.
  • Good Is Not Nice: The Knight will only take his vengeance on criminals who have earned his wrath, but he'd much rather cripple them for life than let them go to a Cardboard Prison, much to the discomfort of the other personalities. When facing off against the Supreme Seven, he doesn't hesitate to burn Doctor Justice's eye out with a laser pointer and slashes Megalodon's heels.
  • Insanity Immunity: When he's merged with the other Defenders during the events of Secret Warps, he's able to retain his consciousness and help the others organize their thoughts because he's already used to juggling multiple, disparate personalities.
  • Instant Costume Change: His costume is stored in a phone-shaped device that can put itself on in seconds with the push of a button.
  • In the Hood: Wears Moon Knight's cloak and hood over his red spandex costume.
  • I Surrender, Suckers: After Science Pete curls up into a fetal position while sobbing apologies to the Terrific Two for attacking them, the Knight sucker punches Reed as he moves to comfort him.
  • I Work Alone: the Knight personality, though a split personality makes maintaining that attitude a little difficult.
  • The Klutz: Science Pete can't handle the acrobatics that Spider and the Knight can, failing to stick the landing when swinging through Central Park and crashing face-first into a brick wall when he accidentally asserts himself while tracking Goblin-By-Night down.
  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Science Pete nerds out over the Terrific Two's zero-emissions anti-gravity propulsion system and wants to meet them to talk science. Unfortunately, he and the other personalities decide that fastest way to do this is to break into the Two's home, which naturally leads to a fight.
  • Lightning Bruiser: He has the proportionate agility and strength of a spider, making him strong, tough, and incredibly hard to hit. Even those with Super-Speed like the Blurrer fail to land a hit on him, and Codename: Eagle only manages to threaten him with a Macross Missile Massacre that is easily intercepted by Soldier Supreme.
  • Manchild: Science Pete never truly matured like his other personalities. He's excitable and maintains a child-like fascination with the sciences, nerding out over the Terrific Two and completely losing track of time when working on a project. When Nightmask invades Arachknight's mind, Pete takes the form of his childhood self and meekly asks for permission to use a cannon he thinks up before actually defending himself. The fact that Mr. Parker is the "adult" personality and the only one who has experienced alcohol and sex indicates that the other two personalities are also this to an extent.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Science Pete is mortified when he realizes that he invaded the Terrific Two's headquarters and attacked them, breaking down into inconsolable sobs. Downplayed in that no real harm was done and it was more the actions of a Fanboy than done out of malice.
Pete: Aw geez, guys! I never meant any of this stuff... I-I-I'm actually a big fan, and I just wanted to meet you and compare notes on our discoveries. But we screwed it all up... I-I-I'm so mortified! [curls up in a ball to cry]
  • Non-Action Guy: Science Pete is brilliant in all things science, but he's cowardly, a crybaby, scared of heights, and clumsy, putting them all in serious trouble when he accidentally asserts himself in a fight. Similarly, Mr. Parker is suave and professional, but isn't good at fighting, instead keeping the others organized and on task.
  • Omnidisciplinary Scientist: Science Pete is an engineer, physicist, programmer, and chemist. He also has a working knowledge of biology that allows him to recognize the impact increased size would have on the Achilles tendons.
  • Painful Transformation: While it's never described as painful in-story, the fact that the art shows a young Peter's body getting impaled by a giant spider's leg and later having his face splinter apart like glass indicate that his transformation into a Spider-Totem was anything but pleasant.
  • Protectorate: Pete is this for the other three personalities, who manifested to protect him and his child-like innocence while helping him fight crime as Arachknight.
  • Purely Aesthetic Glasses: Given that Peter never needed glasses as a child, the specs Science Peter puts on are likely this.
  • Red Is Heroic: His costume is mostly red under his cloak and he's one of his reality's preeminent superheroes.
  • Revenge: The Knight is solely motivated by a pursuit of vengeance, particularly for what happened to May and Ben. So when they encounter the Goblin again after fifteen years, the Knight immediately takes control and tries to kill him. According to him, the other three personalities also feel the same way, but are much less overt about it.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: When Hawkmask enters his mind, Mr. Parker tries to negotiate with him first as a businessman. Parker quickly books it into a nearby bush when he realizes that mediation was never on the table, leaving Knight and Spider to fend for themselves.
Mr. Parker: [running away] Well! If the mediation phase has concluded, I'll take a step back for now!
Knight: No! We have to fight, you coward- [gets punched in the face] Unggh!
Spider: At least throw a cufflink at the guy! [getting strangled in a Neck Lift] Urrrk!
Mr. Parker: You know that's not what I'm for, Spider! Best of luck!
  • The Smart Guy: Science Pete is this. While he isn't much in a fight, his scientific insight can prove valuable to the Spider or the Knight, such as pointing out how Megalodon's increased size invokes the Square-Cube Law and puts immense strain on his Achilles tendons, prompting the Knight to slash them to bring Megalodon down.
  • The Social Expert: Mr. Parker is a suave, cool-headed businessman who runs a successful conglomerate and has the social skills to have intimate relationships with others.
  • Split-Personality Team: His mind might be splintered but his alters have all settled into roles to manage his life.
    • Science Pete is closest to his original personality. Sweet, clumsy, and enthusiastic about research, he's the brains of the operation but not much of a fighter. The other personalities fight to protect him, as he's representative of his childhood self. But when he sometimes asserts himself in a fight by accident, he tends to get into mishaps like crashing into walls.
    • Mr. Parker/Business Peter is the adult, business personality who handles the "mundane" and "boring" tasks like managing Parker Industries, drinking champagne and sex.
    • The Friendly Neighborhood Spider is the one closest to the original Spider-Man personality. A quippy jokester and a skilled acrobat and combatant, he handles most of the superhero work until The Knight's services are needed to finish a fight.
    • The Knight is closest to the original Moon Knight. A brutal avenger who fights mercilessly to protect others, he's the best fighter of them all, but usually has to be talked out of going overboard.
  • Superpowered Evil Side: Downplayed. The Knight isn't evil, but he's also the most morally flexible of Arachknight's personalities and more than willing to use excessive force to permanently stop the threat his foes pose. He also takes over as part of Peter's fight-or-flight response to crush whatever is threatening them.
  • Talking to Themself: Peter's personalities all tend to bicker and argue.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Pete and the Spider are firm believers in not killing their enemies, but the Knight would kill his foes if not for his other personalities.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: According to Captain Peace, the Knight will one day calm down.
  • Traumatic Superpower Awakening: He becomes a Spider-Totem on the night his beloved aunt and uncle are brutally murdered trying to protect him from Goblin-By-Night. The shock of the event splits his personality in four, leaving him in therapy for years while his original personality never matured past pre-pubescence.
  • Troubled Fetal Position: After realizing that he invaded the headquarters of two heroes he admires and attacked them, Science Pete curls up into a ball and sobs apologizes to the both of them.

    Iron Hammer

Sigurd Stark / Stark Odinson / Iron Hammer

Combination of: Iron Man + Thor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ff734a48_09c1_4f49_afe3_615827aa78d6.jpeg

  • Irony: Lampshaded by Stephen; He's a combination of two of Marvel's biggest party animals, yet he himself is quite dour.
  • Magitek: His armor, being a mix of Asgardian magic, Nidavellir forging and human science.
  • Tron Lines: His armor is covered in glowing orange lines.

    Ghost Panther

T'Challa / / "Johnny Blaze" / Ghost Panther

Combination of: Ghost Rider + Black Panther
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a72d94d3_65e1_47e4_9550_00f19e8feb76.jpeg

  • Arc Words: All of his stories use the phrase "a place called Wakanda... that has/will always been/be free."
  • Badass Biker: How T'Challa made a living before his accident.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: T'Challa's stuck with a vengeful god which wants to punish and kill (and eat) those T'Challa fights, and has to keep in constant control in case Zarathos gets lose.
  • Composite Character: He combines Black Panther and Ghost Rider naturally but also has the background of Eric Killraven (who is combined with someone else) in fighting a rebellion against Martian invasion.
  • Panthera Awesome: T'Chaka sticks around as a giant fiery tiger, whom T'Challa can summon.
  • Wreathed in Flames: Comes with being the Ghost Rider/Panther.

    Soldier Supreme

Stephen Rogers / Soldier Supreme

Combination of: Captain America + Doctor Strange
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/42c8b23c_1f2d_4d6d_9738_aef28a34d711.jpeg
Unable to serve his country in World War II, Stephen Rogers volunteered for a top-secret government program that— utilizing arcane sorcery— transformed him into the Soldier Supreme.
  • Barrier Warrior: Creates his shield from magic.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Gets pretty snarky at the US Army's increasingly zealous testing of his magic abilities.
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted by combining Steven Rogers and Stephen Strange into a single person.
  • Patriotic Fervor: Inherits Steve Rogers' love of his country, just applied in a slightly different fashion.

    Weapon Hex

Laura Kinney / Weapon Hex

Combination of: X-23 + Scarlet Witch

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/70a60590_f95d_43b8_b1ad_b9413ecbecce.jpeg
  • Adaptational Badass: Weapon Hex has the combined powers of X-23 and Scarlet Witch.
  • Anti-Anti-Christ: Engineered by Dr. Wyndham to be a suitable vessel for Mephichton, she turned against him and his goals.
  • Big Sister Instinct: Lawd have mercy on anyone who tries to hurt her little sister.
  • Magical Girl Warrior: Skilled in using both her claws and magic.
  • Punny Name: Not out loud, but the displayed names of all her spells play on the word "Hex".

Supporting Heroes

    Speed Weasel

Gavrill Kinney / Speed Weasel

Combination of: Quicksilver + Honey Badger
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/520dca18_356b_4527_a0c0_a48bea6ef044.jpeg
  • Adaptational Badass: Speed Weasel has the combined powers of Honey Badger/Scout and Quicksilver.
    • She actually gets more of an upgrade than anyone else because, unlike Gabby Kinney/Honey Badger/Scout, her bone claws have Adamantium on them.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: Speed Weasel is this to Weapon Hex.
  • Genki Girl: Pietro's super-speed in the body of a preteen girl means she is ludicrously energetic at all times. She's apparently worse when she has sugar in her system.
  • Kid Hero: She's around 8 years old.
  • Kid Sidekick: For her sister.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Speed Weasel has Quicksilver's Super-Speed, and she can tank powerful hits thanks to Honey Badger/Scout's Healing Factor.
  • Little Miss Badass: Speed Weasel is around 8 years old and has the combined powers of Quicksilver and Honey Badger/Scout.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: She's around 8 years old and has helped her sister fight a demon.
  • Super-Speed: Fast enough to clear out a diner of every patron, including one who lived in another state, in the space it takes her sister to say "now".
  • Wolverine Claws: As with Honey Badger, she only has the one claw for each wrist.
