based on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and using a remixed version of Pinkie's Image Song "Smile". It starts off innocently enough with Pinkie running through a field towards her friends Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Rarity, who are relaxing under a tree on a checkered blanket. Twilight even sees her and gives a friendly wave.
However, once she gets close enough, she leaps into the air and decapitates Twilight with a roundhouse kick. And from there, it only gets worse...

- Body Wipe: The camera swiftly zooms out of Pinkie Pie's cutie mark as she is galloping across the field.
- Bolt of Divine Retribution: Uniquely subverted. Rainbow Dash bears a cutie mark of a lightning bolt and ambushes Pinkie Pie, whose actions go against everything that represents friendship under Princess Celestia's rule.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Pinkie uses the actual subtitles to stop Fluttershy from pummeling her.
- Combat Pragmatist: Pinkie uses a bar of lyrics from the video as a blunt weapon against Fluttershy.
- Cool Shades: Rainbow Dash sports a pair while flying.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Many. Twilight gets her head kicked off, Rarity has her skull crushed, Applejack gets vaporized by an energy beam, Rainbow Dash gets pounded in the stomach so hard that
her intestines spew through her mouth, and Fluttershy is obliberated by Pinkie's energy bomb with graphic detail. - Curb-Stomp Cushion: Fluttershy managed to give Pinkie Pie an ass-kicking that would destroy any other pony, but it wasn't enough to stop her from destroying the planet.
- Dangerous Forbidden Technique: Averted. Pinkie Pie did not hesitate in using the mountain-sized energy sphere that was enough to destroy the planet.
- Death by Looking Up: Rarity.
- Disguised Horror Story: It's a video based on MLP where one of the characters gruesomely murders the rest of the cast.
- Disproportionate Retribution: According to the description of the video, Pinkie Pie is getting back at her friends for laughing at her.
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: What other character do you know who murders countless victims with a smile on his face?
- Downer Ending: Pinkie Pie successfully massacres all her friends except Fluttershy. While Fluttershy attempts to fight her, she is unable to defeat the smiling pink pony. Pinkie summons a giant sphere of ki energy that destroys the entire planet and kills everything on it, including Fluttershy and herself. The end.
- Driven to Suicide: Being laughed at was enough to motivate Pinkie Pie into blowing herself up and the planet.

- Facial Horror: Pinkie Pie beats Applejack to a bloody pulp until Rainbow Dash stops her. When we see Applejack again, her face is completely swollen and bruised.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus:
- Rarity's grave appears on the right side of the screen as Dashie is kicking Pinkie in the face.
- When Fluttershy is delivering a smackdown on Pinkie, for a split second the two of them appear to be laughing and hugging.
- From Bad to Worse: Pinkie Pie goes from murdering her friends to murdering her friends with Super Saiyan powers!
- Future Shadowing: You can see a planet exploding behind the Warning text in the beginning of the video.

- The Hero Dies:
- Twilight Sparkle is arguably the main protagonist of the show, and gets killed off first.
- Fluttershy, who is arguably the main protagonist of the video, attempt to avenge her friends. Woe, as she, and all others, fall.
- Heroic Second Wind: Inverted. Pinkie Pie gets grounded into the dirt by Dashie's supersonic kick, appearing mortally wounded or dead. It only takes a moment for her to get back up a billion times stronger than before.
- Hitler Cam: An extreme variant.
- The close-up of Pinkie Pie's... "nether regions" has stirred up some controversy among viewers. While some may argue that the shot was to depict her as an "unstoppable force", establishing awe and reverence, and that it was harmless since all characters depicted in the video lack attributes, others have debated that it attracted another kind of attention.
- Hope Spot: It appears for a while that Fluttershy will put an end to Pinkie's rampage.
- Instant Gravestone: Rarity's grave can be seen on the right side of the screen for a second as Rainbow Dash kicks Pinkie Pie in the face.
- Irony: Pinkie is a cheerful, loving pony who leaves a maelstrom of death and destruction in her wake.
- Kamehamehadoken: How Pinkie takes out Applejack.
- Made of Iron: Pinkie takes a Sonic Rainboom-powered kick to the face and a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown and gets up, completely unruffled, every time.
- Especially jarring since Twilight Sparkle died from just one regular kick!
- Meteor Move: Pinkie kills Rainbow with a Type A (into a Type B). Fluttershy smacks Pinkie with a Type C, but she manages to counter with her own Type A.
- Metronomic Man Mashing: Fluttershy, of all ponies, gives a brutal one to Pinkie.
- Mood Whiplash: Without question how the video got its fame. A great many reaction clips on Youtube show viewers demonstrating this very trope.
- Mugging the Monster: Pinkie eliminates the most badass of the Mane 6 like sitting ducks and targets Fluttershy. The former soon discovered that the latter wouldn't go down so easily.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Pinkie's face transitions from a creepy smile to a distorted tearful frown after zapping Fluttershy. It is uncertain whether it's regret or an insatiable urge to kill again.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: It is never explained where and how Pinkie Pie acquired the abilities to discharge energy blasts from her hooves or even fly.
- Nightmare Face: Pinkie Pie's "smile" is enough to give anyone nightmares.
- Ninja Prop: While fighting Fluttershy, Pinkie grabs one of the subtitles at the bottom of the screen and hits her with it, to Fluttershy's surprise.
- No-Holds-Barred Beatdown: Fluttershy delivers this on Pinkie before she regains control.
- Noodle Incident: The description of the video does not explain WHY Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, or Fluttershy were laughing at Pinkie Pie in the first place, nor does it include any insight on the circumstances that lead to Pinkie seeking revenge.
- Not Enough to Bury: Applejack is completely vaporized by Pinkie's ki blast.
- Off with Her Head!: Happens to Twilight.
- Oh, Crap!: Each of the remaining Mane 6 has this reaction as Pinkie Pie grows more powerful and dangerous.

- Stealth Pun: Rainbow Dash was unable to stop Pinkie Pie's assault and take credit for it. She gets her intestines stomped out through her mouth soon after. This can be seen as a literal example of "No Guts, No Glory."
- Sudden Downer Ending/Twist Ending: Not only does Pinkie Pie succeed in murdering all of her friends, she also kills off every single character in the MLP canon, including herself, by destroying the planet.
- Sugar Apocalypse: It was a beautiful day for ponies to relax in a gorgeous green field, right up until a certain pink pony showed up...
- Suicide Attack: Pinkie's last-ditch effort to defeat Fluttershy ended up as this.
- Taking You with Me: Pinkie uses a gigantic ki sphere that kills Fluttershy and herself, along with everyone on the planet.
- Tempting Fate: Fighting back and attacking Pinkie Pie will only make her stronger. Unfortunately, Fluttershy didn't get that message.
- Thing-O-Meter: Apparently Pinkie has a "Kill-O-Meter" in her head, divided into five levels: Safe, Not Safe, Run, Super Saiyan, and You're Fucked.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Fluttershy has this reaction towards Pinkie's Energy Orb that almost completely covered the sky, and was aimed right at her.
- Three-Point Landing: Pinkie on Rarity's face.
- Too Dumb to Live: Applejack doesn't find it the least bit alarming that Pinkie Pie slaughtered Twilight and Rarity right in front of her. Instead, she just sat there.
- One has to wonder WHY she would gleefully watch another Earth pony kill two unicorns.
- The Unsmile: Some first-time watchers get suspicious that this isn't as cute and cheerful as the music implies because Pinkie's smile is a little too big...
