Art by Crash X Fusion: This isn't goodbye.

Having returned to the Isles, Amity prepares to leave once more; certain other things for everyone else will have to be resolved.

Tropes that appear in this Chapter:

  • Accidental Truth: Eclipsa hits the nail on the head about Amity not asking to be a Fae, probably knowing she's more correct than Belos thinks considering it happened to Meteora.
  • An Aesop: Repression Never Ends Well. It's repeatedly shown that keeping your problems to yourself leads to suffering in silence, as it does to the people around you.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Clair seems to call Cross "Little Fireball".
  • Always a Bigger Fish: Discussed between Hunter and Luz, as the former believes that with Abel's mysterious past and motives, he could turn out to be a bigger threat than Belos.
  • Ambiguously Related: A picture Adrian has of Emily and her mother shows Emily with her tail, heavily implying that Adrian is Emily's true father, not Hamilskin.
  • Ambiguous Situation: In-universe, Edric wonders to himself if the way he took Trini beating Luz was due to his own deep seated resentment, or just Mel using her powers on him.
  • Amicable Exes: Hunter and Edric seem to have officially started crossing into this as they talk to one another about how things between them turned out and leave on peaceful terms before Hunter and Lilith depart from the Owl House.
  • Arc Words:
    • "Time to face the music". While only said twice by Eda and Hunter, they hold a lot of weight as everyone has to accept the harsh reality they're dealing with:
      • Amity has to leave the Isles for her own safety and Luz can't go with her to Earth because she has to save Lilith from Baron Samedi by defeating the Inner Demon once and for all on top of finding Perry;
      • Hunter heads back to the Emperor's castle to help Amity, Boscha's family, Tom, Cross, and Tito gain their freedom while spying on Belos for the Clawthornes and also looking into Perry;
      • Eda will most likely be under suspicion over Amity and removed from running the orphanage along with talking with Abigail and Camila, who will have to talk with Lilith, over their tension with each other;
      • Mel will be facing the consequences of her actions now that she can see her father doesn't want her to turn out like him and comes to regret her actions;
      • All the kids who went with the Clawthornes return home to their families; for Lindsay, it's a scolding for being gone for a day until they learn why she left; for Willow, Gus, Boscha, and Cross, they're welcomed back with open arms; for Edric, he has to explain to Emira and Geist his role in why Amity has left the realm;
      • Emily is now living with the Shystreams for the time being and despite knowing Tito might learn about what she's done from Nina, she accepts the future fallout taking things one day at a time;
      • And the Holder brothers now have to deal with Scooter Crane's ghost haunting them.
    • There's also "We're in this together": Cross said this to Emily as they were stuck with each other while acting as the Golden Guard and needed to have each other's back to survive being in the Emperor's Coven. Now Emily says it to Cross to affirm he'll keep in touch now that he's helping Emily through hiding out from the coven now that everyone believes she's dead.
  • Asshole Victim: Blazer, who was previously capped but spared death, is left in the hands of Sonya to be experimented on after Eustace and Serpentina sell him out.
  • Back from the Dead: Michael is resurrected by Victor Frankenstein on Angel's orders, and he freaks out from going to Hell.
  • Barred from the Afterlife: Self-invoked in the cases of Smee (who's waiting for his captain to die so they can pass on together), and Vaggie (who has some Unfinished Business). Michael on the other hand is brought back to life, thereby negating his death.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Aunt Dorothy agrees to let Emily stay with the Shystreams because she's a kid, she needs their help, it's her way of thanking her for saving Lindsay from the Grim Goblin.
  • Big Damn Reunion: Thanks to Hunter making a case to Belos for Athena and Tom, Boscha is reunited with both of them.
  • Bisexual Love Triangle: Lindsay's exact orientation is unclear, but she is shown to be wondering if she has feelings for either Cross or Emily.
  • Bittersweet Ending: The witches have all returned home, but Amity has to depart almost immediately since she's now deemed a threat for being a Fae. She's dropped off at the Ramirez residence in Gravity Falls alone since Luz needs to stay on the Isles in order to find a way to kill the Inner Demon to save Lilith's soul, but at least everyone can visit Amity with the portal, and she makes up with Edric and Lilith before she goes. Emily is presumed dead and will stay with the Shystreams for now, Hunter returns to the castle to help his friends and spy on Belos for them, the Holder brothers and Lilith are now stuck dealing with the spirits of Scooter Crane and Vina, the Tarot Guild is planning to use Belos dealing with the fallout of Mel's actions to their advantage, Eustace and Serpentina are free and have given Blazer to Sonya as a test subject, Ursula and Maleficent are set to rule their respective realms unchallenged, and Angel's reviving Michael and who knows who else. However, Boscha is reunited with Athena and Tom thanks to Hunter, Eda gives Cross a bit of hope that he and most of his family aren't the last dragons, Laura and the rest of Mel's former prisoners have been returned home, there's a chance the adults in Luz's families will talk about their issues in due time, and even if Amity can't see her usual friends, she'll have her human allies to keep her company along with Ghost and Acorn.
  • The Bus Came Back:
    • Jacob Hopkins makes a physical reappearance since "Escape from Gatesfield" (excluding his Alternate Self in "What If... Abigail raised Luz?"), but turns out to have had a vocal appearance in "Fallen Angel".
      • Angel, Michael, and Victor/Dr. West reappear since said chapter as well, not counting Angel's own counterpart in "What If... Abigail raised Luz" and the nightmare versions from Eda's personal Hell in "Way Down to Mel's Town".
    • Smee and Vaggie are seen for the first time since their respective deaths in "Masks Off" and "Viva Last Vegans!"
    • Quakus the Disposer, the Tarot Guild body disposer seen in Emily's flashbacks in "Rings of Fire", is one of its members seen gathered when Terra announces their plan to rise again.
    • Eris is seen for the first time since "Mischief Gathering", though she's sporting a different design in her second appearance.
  • But Now I Must Go:
    • Knowing she can't remain on the Isles due to Belos' anti-Fae propaganda, Amity has no choice but to leave the Demon Realm for the time being and stay with Dipper and the Ramirez's in Gravity Falls. She's at least joined by Ghost and Acorn, despite the latter's hesitance in returning to Earth.
    • Hunter follows through on his decision to return to the Emperor's castle not just to get amnesty for Boscha's family and Tom, but for Amity and Tito (at Emily's request) along with getting Cross out of working for Graye and looking into the Horned King and the Tarot Guild. He makes progress with getting Athena and Tom's freedom, but everyone else will take time.
  • The Cameo:
    • Ares and Maui are among Idna's guests where they're seen having counseling sessions.
    • Dipper and Mrs. Ramirez welcome Amity into the latter's home when Luz and Eda drop her off.
    • Captain Jake, Izzy, Cubby, and Skully appear to welcome Puck home to Neverland.
    • Among the Tarot Guild members seen beside its well-known top three members are Arthur and Destiny, Nicole, Quakus, the Grim Goblin, the ninja from the Bonesborough Brawl, and a masked individual.
    • Severine reports to Adrian that the scouts still haven't found Emily.
    • Donna is seen on a crystal ball call where Luz informs her of everything and shows the rescue team recovered her key.
    • Meg/Hebe and Pegasus are seen when Hercules, Alex, and Ani return home to Olympus.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • Yui is still in tears after Meg used her paint magic on the attempted-kidnapping assassin.
    • As Amity reveals her vision from the keyblade, Willow remembers Sara's warning.
    • Footage of the chaos Mel caused at the Brawl is viewed by the Tarot Guild.
    • Lindsay thanks Emily for saving her and her friends at Tibilias Bay, which causes Emily to reveal that Cross was the one on duty as the Golden Guard that day.
  • "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Amity comes to see that if she hadn't declared herself nameless, if she had just talked about her problems to her family, then things wouldn't have deteriorated between them. Edric feels the same way, feeling guilty that he talked to Mel about his problems instead of to his sisters.
  • Create Your Own Villain: Indirectly, it was Zeus' own fault that Hades tried to overthrow him in ruling Mt. Olympus after he tasked him with ruling the Underworld.
  • Dénouement Episode: With everything about it brought to a close for now, the "Underworld" arc has come to an end.
  • Desecrating the Dead: Angel, an unknowing victim of this herself, now engages in it by bringing her dead Archangels back to life.
  • Failed a Spot Check: Somehow, Edric didn't notice Hunter's robot arm until now.
  • Forced Kiss: In feeling grateful towards Lindsay for helping her, Emily kisses her on the lips. At first Lindsay doesn't mind, but she soon grows uncomfortable with it and Emily pulls back to apologize.
  • Foreshadowing: Hunter asks Ms. Traveler if she knows Abel, who then dodges the question.
  • Forgiveness:
    • Before she leaves for Earth, Amity makes amends with both Lilith and Edric for how messed up things became between them, assuring them both she still wants them in her life.
    • Zig-zagged with Luz and Hunter; Boscha convinces them to apologize for what they've done to each other and they do, but they don't become friends again. Rather, they're in agreement with being allies for the greater good of their friends and families' safety.
  • Freudian Excuse: The reason Belos despises the Fae is because Oberon kidnapped baby Meteora while he was taking care of her for Eclipsa. Now that Amity's been exposed, he extends his hatred toward her only for Eclipsa to keep him from making any rash decisions against her because it wasn't a willing transition just like Meteora.
  • The Ghost: Libby Steins-Torres is brought up by Darryl, who plans on teaming up with her to find the lost Brighton treasure.
  • Given Name Reveal: Lindsay's parents turn out to be named Bloom and Colt Shystream.
  • Glamour: It turns out that Hecate is actually Ursula maintaining a disguise which can only be revealed by looking into her reflection.
  • Greater-Scope Paragon: It was Delara who aided Lindsay with learning to control her temper, and thus how she came to develop her philosophy about kindness and forgiveness.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Eris granted Mel with her Emotion Control abilities right after her birth, thus making her responsible for Mel's actions throughout history.
  • Haunting the Guilty: Crane's spirit is now haunting his accidental killers, the Holder Brothers.
  • Heroic Vow: After Amity has left, Luz swears to Kay that she'll protect the gillchild with her life until Amity comes home.
  • Hero Insurance: Deconstructed. After killing Trini, Luz admits that she knows she can't move past it as easily as movie characters are able to.
Luz: This isn't like when you see those action movies, the hero kills the villains and they just brush it off… I can't brush this off. I will never get over this.
  • Innocently Insensitive:
    • Zeus named Hades the ruler of the Underworld without knowing that it reminded his brother highly of being in Cronus' stomach, thus causing Hades' hatred towards him.
    • Mrs. Ramirez casually tells Luz, Amity, and Eda that her husband ended up in Hell: after their recent adventure, that's the last thing they needed to hear.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Hunter, and to a lesser extent Emily, Cross and Lindsay, meet Ms. Traveler for the first time. Cross and Emily also encounter Camila and Hooty for the first time.
    • Eda tells Cross about the Long family to assure him his family doesn't contain the only living dragons in existence.
    • Cross learns that Hunter is Belos' nephew while Emily learns he was the Golden Guard before her.
    • Ms. Traveler learns about Amity's atheism, Illusion Vaggie, and Willow's experience in Gatesfield.
    • Gus comes clean to Luz about killing Michael.
    • Luz tells her family, Willow, Gus, Boscha, and Edric about her killing Trini, Amity tells them about her visions of the Exorcists, and Hunter informs them about what Moxxie told him about them.
    • Edric discovers that Hunter has a robot arm and that Luz was responsible for it.
    • Emily lets slip to Lindsay that Cross was the Golden Guard at Tibilias Bay during the Scarfish incident.
  • It's All My Fault: Amity and Edric both take the blame for things with their family and themselves getting to the point that they did now, never once blaming each other.
  • Karma Houdini: Eustace and Serpentina escape the safehouse LOWTH was keeping them in and sell the crippled Blazer off to Sonya to make a quick snail.
  • Last of Their Kind: The Drakescales are the last members of dragonkind in the Boiling Isles, quite possibly the Demon Realm, which is why Cross is stunned when Eda tells him dragons live in the Human Realm and promises to tell them about him and his family.
  • Let Me at Him!: Gender-inverted. The second Hooty sees Emily in the house, he attempts to attack her which leads to Willow, Cross, and the Clawthorne sisters restraining him, allowing Emily to seek safety in the bathroom.
  • Locked Out of the Loop:
    • Boscha and Lindsay didn't inform their families about their journeying to the Underworld to save a bunch of kids before they left. The Saltstars are just happy Boscha's back, Lindsay's parents are initially peeved she didn't contact them beforehand.
    • For the most part, it seems the Drakescales don't know that it was Emily who Cross and Lindsay went to save.
    • Belos is completely unaware that Hunter and Eclipsa have already met, and that can be used to Hunter's advantage.
  • Luminescent Blush: After the Forced Kiss, Emily and Lindsay turn away from each other completely flushed. Beforehand, Emily blushes when Lindsay offers to carry her out of the Owl House piggyback style.
  • Misplaced Retribution: Subverted. Belos is ready to punish Amity for being a Fae about to cause trouble without her even doing anything, and Eclipsa keeps him from making any attempts on the girl's life because for all he knows, she didn't ask for this.
  • My God, What Have I Done?:
    • Now that she sees her father regrets not keeping a closer eye on her and keeping her from causing trouble like him, Mel actually comes to regret her own actions.
    • During her session with Ms. Traveler, Amity realizes that if she had just talked to Odalia instead of disowning her family and running away from her problems, they'd still be together, Alador wouldn't be an Unwitting Pawn to Gibson and his parents, and she wouldn't be leaving the Demon Realm.
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Phil's Island being named Idna is a nod to the Hercules Animated Storybook.
    • Abuelita Ramirez's name being revealed to be Dolores is a nod to it being mentioned in the journals in Gravity Falls.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Blitzo and Moxxie killing several scouts with guns inspires Gibson to create his own, which will cause a lot of trouble in the future.
  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Hades and Persephone named Hecate their temporary replacement as ruler of the Underworld without learning that it's actually Ursula in disguise, and she's ready to rule on high as if she was ruler of the sea once again.
  • Oh, My Gods!: To symbolize her lack of faith, Amity now responds with these when exclaiming in shock or surprise.
  • One-Word Title: Pretty much sums up tying all the major loose ends for the last two story arcs.
  • Pet the Dog: At Eclipsa's urging, Belos foregoes action against Amity over her Fae status and at Hunter's request, he frees Athena and Tom from the Conformatorium. However, he subverts this by refusing to release Boris since he was part of a rebel group against him.
  • Point of Divergence:
    • Boscha enters the Owl House and Jacob Hopkins travels to the Demon Realm, two things that never happened in canon-Owl House.
    • Willow is assured that she can be scared and not always suppress her feelings for the sake of being the one person all her friends have to rely on long before the events of "For the Future" occur.
    • Terra has learned that the Day of Unity isn't what Belos had promised prior to the aforementioned event.
  • Poor Communication Kills:
    • Ms. Traveler helps Luz realize that not discussing how the adults in both of her families don't communicate with each other about the tension between them isn't cause for her to blame herself for wanting all of them as part of her life.
    • Hades admits he's not good with talking about his feelings to Zeus after Persephone got him to discuss his problem with running the Underworld.
    • Amity and Edric both come to see that their inability to face their problems is what led to their family falling apart and why Amity has to go into Self-Imposed Exile.
  • Properly Paranoid: Hunter initially refuses to speak with Ms. Traveler in a counseling session as he only just met her and she reminds him of Abel. Because of this, he begins to fear that Abel's potentially a bigger threat than Belos.
  • Put on a Bus: According to Word of God, Mel will not be seen again in the rest of Book 2 after this point.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Belos agrees to Hunter's request for releasing Athena and Tom from custody since they only have minor crimes to their names.
  • Relationship Reveal: Puck quickly learns that Ruff and Tiger Lily are dating just based on how close he sees the two sitting next to each other.
  • Repression Never Ends Well:
    • Madstream is the result of this for Lindsay, as keeping her temper in check has led to all of her anger building up until she had to release it all at once.
    • In Willow's counseling session with Ms. Traveler, she attempts to talk about her concerns with her friends' problems while avoiding discussing her own. Only when Ms. Traveler brings up her experiencing her own nightmares in the Underworld does she at least talk about what happened to her in Gatesfield and her lack of control of that situation, thus resulting in Ms. Traveler advising she not always designate herself The Reliable One who avoids her problems.
  • The Resenter: Continuing from the previous chapter where Hades admitted not wanting the job of ruling the Underworld, he confesses to Mel that he had grown to resent Zeus for giving him the job in the first place, hence his desire of conquest.
  • The Reveal: Quite a lot in this chapter.
    • It took nearly an entire day for Team Hell-and-Back to rescue Mel's victims and return home.
    • Were-dragons aren't a thing: the Drakescale Clan are actual dragons, which existed and lived all over the Demon Realm long before Were-Fever came about; Belos used the breakout as a cover to exterminate the entire species. Only their ancestor, Talon, remained and took a witch form to continue his lineage, with the only remaining dragons on the Boiling Isles being Cross, Zee, Damien, and Drayden.
      • Cross told his family that he and Lindsay were going to save Emily without telling them it was her.
    • Madstream is the result of Lindsay's anger bottling up since she was a kid. An incident with a kid who intentionally injured a pixie in front of her led to her attacking him, and she was sent to an Oracle institute to control her temper with Delara overseeing her progress.
    • Luz agreed to obtain the Inner Demon's soul for the Baron and she told Amity about the deal when she returned from the Human Realm.
    • Phil is still alive and is now running a retreat resort for gods on Idna.
    • Smee and Vaggie's souls are currently in the afterlife Purgatory.
    • Angel is having Victor bring Michael back from the dead (and he's confirmed to have gone to Hell) and plans on resurrecting several other agents.
    • Jacob is the volunteer that got trapped in the Demon Realm in "Fallen Angel", and he's still alive.
    • Jack's current master is Darryl McGee; Molly convinced her brother to use his second wish to let Jack help his friends.
    • Nicole, the ninja from the Brawl, and an unknown masked individual have joined the Tarot Guild, who kidnapped Teri in order to recruit the Grim Goblin. Terra knows the Day of Unity isn't what Belos claims it to be and plans to make sure it doesn't happen.
    • Ursula the Sea Witch was locked up in Tartarus and disguised herself as Hecate in order to escape and take control of the Underworld.
    • Serpentina is Mel's cousin and thus a goddess herself.
    • Eris is Mel's godmother and gifted Mel with her powers as a baby.
    • Queen Mab was the original wielder of Donna's keyblade.
    • Captain Jake and his crew survived the Exorcists' onslaught on Neverland.
    • Laura is revealed to be from Zootopia.
    • Mac was the little girl who died and Hercules failed to save.
    • Oberon kidnapped Meteora while Philip was watching over her; that's why Belos hates the Fae.
    • Not only is Ms. Traveler Rosie, but she asked Alastor to watch over Luz and Amity while they were in Hell.
  • Reverse Mole: In a reversal to his spying on the Clawthornes for Belos, Hunter is now spying on Belos for the Clawthornes in order to learn of his plans for the Day of Unity.
  • Secret-Keeper: Eda and Hunter keep the truth about Cross's true heritage hidden from the others.
  • Self-Imposed Exile: Amity's fate by the end of the chapter: Belos' anti-Fae laws and propaganda make her a target for the Emperor's Coven and the Clawthornes' other enemies, so she has to hide out on Earth until the heat dies down.
  • Sequel Hook:
    • With Amity now in the Human Realm for the time being, who knows what kind of adventures she'll have with the Earth cast in Gravity Falls.
    • The day after the events of this chapter (Monday in human time) is Willow's birthday, and she decides to visit Amity on Earth so she doesn't miss it. This would allow the Gatesfieldians to see her again.
    • Eda plans to tell the Longs about the Drakescales; whether she'll be willing to let Cross meet them for himself is given a pin.
    • Boscha is now having doubts in the Titan herself after meeting the Olympians and realizing why Amity lost her faith.
    • Gus is considering performing a séance to communicate with Vaggie's spirit.
    • Hunter vows to find Perry alongside Luz as she now takes defeating the Inner Demon to save Lilith from the Baron more seriously.
    • Following the last chapter, Edric follows through on not dating and focusing on finding his own group of friends for now, with Emira agreeing to help him.
    • Eustace and Serpentina escape LOWTH's custody, with the latter implied to be planning revenge on Nina.
    • After seeing footage of Blitzo and Moxxie's onslaught the previous night, Gibson plans to make weapons based on the imps' guns.
    • Terra begins her plans to overthrow Belos, now working with Nicole, the Grim Goblin, and an unknown masked individual.
    • Belos plans to end the lockdown and release a statement the following day about Amity, telling Hunter and Eclipsa that he will consider not harming her.
      • With Eclipsa maintaining a counsel with Belos in the castle, Hunter has an ally while he plays mole.
    • Once everything with the Inner Demon and Perry is settled, Luz plans on taking a break from the Isles and staying with Camila and her godfamily on Earth so they can spend time with her and they can get to know each other.
    • The Holder brothers are now being haunted by Crane's spirit, while Vina's is forced to ask Lilith for help in finding her killer.
    • Now that Lindsay knows Cross was the Golden Guard along with Emily, how she'll take his keeping it from her may change her feelings for him.
    • Puck has returned to Neverland to help restore its natural beauty with the rest of its inhabitants while Jack apparently seems to be sticking with the McGees for now.
  • Shout-Out:
    • After a cameo from Scratch in "Somhaim Tales of the Boiling Isles" and a reference to Brighton in "That's the Way the Cookie Crumbles", The Ghost and Molly McGee is officially slotted into the LCU.
    • Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Zootopia are also shown to be connected, with the latter being Laura's home realm.
    • Maui of Moana appears as a guest of Idna retreat resort.
    • Two references are made to DuckTales (2017):
      • Jack tells Darryl that he can't wish for all the world's gold because it would lose its value, a similar conversation to the one Huey and Louie have in "Let's Get Dangerous".
      • A gathering of Tarot Guild members reviewing footage of the Brawl plays out like the end of "Moonvasion".
    • Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid is added as a future villain to deal with.
  • So Proud of You: The rest of the Drakescale Clan are proud of Cross for saving one of his friend's lives, even if they don't know it's Emily.
Drayden: You've done this family proud.
    Cross: (smiles) I know.
  • Surprisingly Happy Ending: Even though Amity has left her home realm, Emily's now in hiding from the public eye, the Archangels, Tarot Guild, and Serpentina & Eustace will return soon, and Belos will definitely not let what Mel's done go, things turn out better for the Clawthornes, Amity, and their friends then they have in the previous two arcs as they've made headway in keeping ahead of their enemies and moving forward from their mistakes, plus Hunter has given them an advantage against Belos.
  • There Is Another: Cross had been convinced that his family contained the last dragons. While this is true for the Demon Realm, he is told that dragonkind still exists in the Human Realm.
  • This Is Gonna Suck:
    • Pretty much Mel's opinion about going on sabbatical with her parents instead of being grounded.
    • The moment Cups and Mugs see Crane's spirit in their room, they freak out.
  • This Is Something He's Got to Do Himself: When Hunter announces his plans to return to the castle, he says he's not comfortable with it when Lilith asks him, but points out that he's the only person who could make a case for everyone he's trying to help to Belos since he'll listen to him.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone:
    • Hunter not only plans to advocate for Boscha's family as well as Amity and Cross, but agrees to Emily's request of freeing Tito from custody and promises not to tell the Emperor's Coven that she's alive.
    • Thanks to Hunter succeeding in the first of his aforementioned goals, Boscha is finally reunited with her mother and Tom. After everything Boscha's gone through since she was paralyzed, it's well-deserved.
    • Amity not only forgives Lilith for everything that she's done, but reassures Lilith that she still wants her godmother in her life.
    • Emily, seeing that she may have messed up by telling Lindsay that Cross was sharing the Golden Guard position with her, tells Lindsay to not hold his secret keeping against him.
  • Title Drop: Ms. Traveler mentions the chapter title in the last line of the chapter.
  • The Un-Reveal:
    • How is Ursula alive in the present day?
    • Belos is planning to release a statement about Amity, so what does it mean for her?
  • Unwitting Instigator of Doom:
    • As Boscha correctly points out, every bad thing that's happened to Luz, Amity, and her can be traced back to Puck messing with her before the petrification ceremony. That's why she refuses to forgive him for his actions.
    • Zeus turns out to have been one of these, as his decision to make Hades the Underworld's ruler is what led to his hatred towards him, the attempts to kill Hercules, and the desire to overthrow him.
  • We Need a Distraction: Hooty keeps the scouts camped outside the Owl House distracted from the kids sneaking out using illusions and invisibility glyphs by telling them endless stories.
  • Wham Episode: Amity departs for the Human Realm until things on the Isles smooth over regarding her Fae status, Hunter heads back to the castle to advocate for everyone to Belos and finds Eclipsa (a future ally) is already there, the Tarot Guild prepares to strike, the Holders and Lilith get stuck dealing with Crane and Vina Back from the Dead, Emily is now living with the Shystreams, Lindsay discovers Cross was also the Golden Guard, Athena and Tom are released from custody, and Ursula and Maleficent are on the verge of making things worse for everyone.
  • Wham Line
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Mel is shocked with how her parents are taking time off work to help her through her rehabilitation instead of grounding her; they both point out that she likely won't learn her lesson if they did, and they wouldn't either. As such, the sabbatical to Idna will benefit all of them in the end.
  • With Friends Like These...: Blazer ends up becoming a future test subject for Sonya after Eustace and Serpentina pawn him off on her for a bag of snails.
  • Worth It: When asked if she had second thoughts about forgiving Lilith during her session with Ms. Traveler, Luz confirms that she never once doubted herself for doing so.
  • You Remind Me of X: Hunter is reminded of Abel through Ms. Traveler and not only becomes suspicious of them both, but warns Luz to keep an eye on Ms. Traveler from here on out.

Julia: There have been resolutions today, but the struggles of these children are far from over...
