• The Freeze-Frame Bonus in his Minecraft Diamond Armor theory, after he talks about crystals having four planes of cleavage and says "we're not talking about the Pamela Anderson Bermuda Triangle brand of cleavage here," two "editor's notes" briefly appear on screen, the first saying "Wait!? We're not?" and the second saying:
  Matt, I just spent, like, 25 minutes Photoshopping Katy Perry's pom-poms onto crystalline solids and you're telling me we aren't even talking about ta-tas?
  My roommate walked in on me! Imagine having THAT conversation...
• At the beginning of his "Humans are Pokémon" video, MatPat gets frustrated and that the Wheel of Gaming keeps stopping on Pokémon. This gag continues through the opening credits.
  • Similarly, TheJWittz's ensuing rant on his entire channel being Pokémon. The two then decide to so something so crazy that nobody wants them to talk about Pokémon anymore (followed by MatPat lampshading the ridiculous opening).
• From his "Mario is a communist" video: "And what are two things Wario is known for?" "he's ten feet tall." "Shut up!"
• MatPat's repeated Freudian Slips where he messes up "Kremcroc" for "Kremcoc" in his Donkey Kong Country video.
  • And when he gets it right: "Achievement Unlocked: Blocked The Cock!""
• MatPat has a good long rant at Scott Cawthon when he makes a tiled wall contain a key pad.
  • Also in the third installment of his FNAF series he claims that this'll be the definitive theory of FNAF with no loose ends and no contradictions. Precisely ONE DAY later...
  • At the end of Part 2:
  ... and that is the end of the Five Nights at Freddy's story. No hat, no movie, no fourth installment. (cuts to Mat being huddled in disbelief when he sees the FNAF 4 announcement)
• Mat has taken to pasting cartoony fez hats onto images that cannot be used without their use being deemed a transformative work.
• Mat's reaction to trying to find Chun-Li's weight, only to find it's secret. Despite literally everything else being listed somewhere.
  • After saying the old Poh-tay-to/Poh-tah-to line, he suddenly stops the whole video to wonder who the hell actually pronounces it "poh-tah-to". He then made a poll to find out what percentage of people (if any) actually say "poh-tah-to".
• The amiibo episode has Mat seemingly drawing the conclusion that Nintendo is seemingly screwing people over just to get cheap publicity ...... before casually reminding us it's Nintendo and it would never happen.
• The beginning of the episode talking about the Fine Bros. incident has a reaction of a reaction of the inception Top alongside a reaction of a reaction of a FNAF Theory... Even the video starts getting confused by this near the end.

• From "Why I Gave the Pope UNDERTALE", Matpat's Dear Negative Reader regarding the "Sans is Ness" episode.
  MatPat: I liked the "Sans is Ness" episode a lot. "That's the one where Game Theory jumped the shar-" No, it isn't! No, it isn't! Whether you agree with the conclusion, you have to admit: there's a lot of evidence there that just lines up really nicely.
• When he sees that total amount of time watching all Star Trek media clocks at over 500 hours, MatPat laments at how the Star Wars fans got off lucky with only having to watch seven films. Then he plays the clip of Jake Lloyd asking what midichlorians are, back tracks, and laments at how Star Wars fans got off lucky with only having to watch four films.
• On the bottle-flipping stream, MatPat expresses hope that GTLive will pass one million subscribers during the stream. He doesn't even get to finish explaining why he's excited or what his plans are for celebrating it before Jason announces that the subscribers passed that mark.
• MatPat's reactions to the shitty puns of Batman & Robin:
  • "I can make cold puns, too, Arnie!"
  Mr. Freeze: Very niiIIIIIIICEEEeeeeeee...
  MatPat: But alas. Just because I can, doesn't mean I should.

• In "Nintendo's Secret Plan for Nintendo Switch" he reads out potential criticism of the episode. After he reads out first sentence, he realizes that his voice became deep, kind of sensual and raspy. He then proceeds to read it in a sensual manner while romantic music plays in the background.
• MatPat openly admits to Jumping the Shark in one of his theories on Deadpool.
• Stephanie impersonating Nugget from Kindergarten, especially for the entry Can Chicken Nuggets SAVE YOUR LIFE?!
  • In his Duck Season video, Nugget (again voiced by Stephanie) calls MatPat a dumb-dumb and throws two Dum-Dum lollipops at his face.
• During their playthrough of Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 3, MatPat encounters the poster for the Butcher Gang. Stephanie says that she gets a feeling that they will get familiar with the gang soon... right as one of them bursts through the poster, scaring both of them.
• His Doki Doki Literature Club! video has him determining that Monika is actually Flowey who happens to be Porky who also happens to be Purple Gu-

  MatPat: Sorry, the rest of the theory team just pulled me aside for a quick intervention. Apparently, I'm banned from making any links between this game and Undertale. Or any game and Undertale. R-Really I'm not allowed to touch Undertale anymore.
  • Their playthrough is also full of funny moments. Of note is Matt not only voicing Natsuki, but giving her a burly, tough-sounding voice, which makes her cute moments all the more hilarious.
• All of Dan Harmon's moments in the Pickle Rick episode of Film Theory:
  • When he says that Pickle Rick isn't based in science:
    MatPat: I don't want to be the "But, actually" guy, but um...actually.
    Dan Harmon: The existence of this channel tells me that's not true.
  • When MatPat references a study about making cockroaches move by shocking them with electricity:
    Dan Harmon: Holy crap! There are people who hook cockroaches up to a battery and shock them? For a salary? I am in the wrong line of work.
• In the intro for the Bob-omb episode, he replicated the old Bullet Bill theory intro with the Bob-omb, but remembering how that was, he realizes that it won’t hurt him. It blows up and kills him immediately.
• The Most IMPORTANT Video I've Ever Made (NOT CLICKBAIT) has MatPat announce that he and Steph are having a baby by reading their own version of Yahoo! Answers post titles. And Scott Cawthon commented, "I hear the baby name Freddy is trending! ;) (Seriously though, congratulations!)"
• The theory on the mysterious Peter W. in Deadpool 2 at first offers the theory that he's actually Peter Wisdom from X-Force, before MatPat soon realizes another possibility that may be afoot... In that Peter will just turn out to be a nobody as a joke on hardcore comic fans.
• In the theory on Star Wars Battlefront II (2017), he takes a quick moment to go through the Emperor's wookieepedia article... and breaks into laughter when he realizes Palps' first name is Sheev. He later shows a gravestone saying "Sheev "The Senate" Palpatine."
• MatPat's choice of words from the GTLive playthrough of Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning

• Also a Moment of Awesome, MatPat correctly stating the absurdly huge number of possible match-ups in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

• During a nine hour live stream for charity, Matt and Stephanie had Rosanna Pansino on and had her play Five Nights at Freddy's VR. Needless to say, her reactions (as seen here) were hilarious and adorable.
• During the World of Light video, he calls Dharkon a hentai eyeball monster.
• During one of his Livestreams, Matt, along with Stephanie, reacts to his old Game Theory videos. What does he use for the Cold Open on the uploaded highlight video? His "Best boobs in gaming" video. His expression quickly becomes that of abject horror.
• In his "Who will survive the [CENSORED] Virus?" video, he briefly remarks on the possibility that Princess Peach has facial hair but shaves it off regularly, while editing an image of her to give her a blonde goatee.
• Dan's cameo in the "Game theory... what happened to you?" video. Him refusing to plaster his face across the internet is used as an excuse by MatPat to make him look like he's in Witness Protection, and then there's his horror at Rule 34 art of Chica:
  Witness Protection Dan: (aghast) How can you do those things to a video game chicken?!
• In his video about the new 'Warden' mob in Minecraft:
  • First, the shameless 'like and subscribe' segway.
  • Towards the end, George and Sapnap chase Dream like in Dream's Manhunt series, and Sapnap remarks, "Wait, are we on Game Theory?"
• During the fourth GTLive stream of Five Nights at Candy's 3, MatPat repeatedly skewers Monster Vinnie's dramatic speech (actually the protagonist Mary's guilt-induced nightmare) by pointing out that what Mary allegedly "took away" from Vinnie was a minimum-wage job at a restaurant for children.
• MatPat's obsession with MUSIC MAAAN!!!
  • Ascended Meme as of his Is Golden Freddy in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach video, which opens with essentially a Sparta Remix of the clip.
• In the second part of the Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach stream, Matt and Stephanie aren't remotely threatened by Sun's Freak Out, and Stephanie in particular reacts with increasing mock-drama until he falls over... and then Moon crawls back up, and both are utterly spooked.
  Stephanie: Ho-lee Bazongas!
  Moon: Naughty boy.
  Matt: Oh, no.
  Stephanie: Gasp!
  Moon: Naughty boy.
  Stephanie: OH, NO.
  Matt: Oh, no, this is not okay.
  Moon: It's past your bedtime.
  Matt: I'm gonna pee my pants, I think.
  Moon: You must be punished.
  Stephanie: WHAT?!
• In a prime example of Mat taking the piss out of himself, the opening skit for the theory on PowerWash Simulator plays a clip from one of Markiplier's runs of the game asking Mat for the "lore" on the game, with Mat answering the summons, complete with angel wings... out of a toilet. A hand then proceeds to flush him down the drain before he can get out. You can tell Mat has fully embraced his meme status in regard to his more out-there theories, and is taking the chance to parody it himself.
• This exchange from the Mountain Dew Pizza episode.
  Mat: Hit me with the cheese Matt!
  (Matt throws the cheese at Mat's bemused face)
  (Take two)
  Mat: Hit me with the cheese Matt!
  (Cheese is thrown way off course and lands on the floor)
  Mat: (Laughing) Where is my hand?!
  (Take three)
  Mat: Hit me with the cheese Matt! (Successfully catches the cheese this time) Yeah! First time every time!
• The FNF Bob mod episode is styled as a funeral for Matt after being consumed by the black goo, it leads to head-editor Dan reading a eulogy about him which is really a sponser for raycon earbuds, it cuts to Stephanie hysterically crying and asking him to stop which leads to Dan shutting her up and continuing on about the ad.
  Stephanie: Dude I don't think this is the time for that!
  Dan: Ah it's fine!
• For the Choo-Choo Charles theory, Head Editor Dan takes over narration, and is immediately groaning at some of the puns MatPat wrote into the script.
  • He does, however, get very excited when mentioning bazookas!
• As MatPat's retirement came close, he invited all of the new hosts to join him on the couch for an introduction where they all jump up from behind the couch. Immediately, Santi^note the new host for Food Theory falls over as he's getting up. He explains that he was trying to get up with gusto, but he pronounces it "goose-toe" and just rolls with it. Tom^note the new host for Game Theory, wasn't present at the time as he lives in England, so Lee^note the new host for Film Theory holds up a football with a picture of Tom's face stapled onto it. Lee then proceeds to talk in an exaggerated British accent and claim the Moon isn't real.
• During his last FNAF theory, MatPat checks in on how the future host, Tom, is doing...and he's currently in a room, strapped to a chair with his eyes forced open, listing off various variations of Bonnie as they appear on a screen.
  Tom: Toy Bonnie! Easter Bonnie! Chocolate Bonnie! Melted Chocolate Bonnie! Withered Bonnie! Black-Heart Bonnie! Rockstar Bonnie! Glamrock Bonnie! Sunken Toy Bonnie! Bon-Bon! Just Bon! System Error Bonnie! Nightmare Bonnie!
  Mat: Well done, but how many toes does he have?
  Tom: 2? No, 3? 5?
  (Mat closes the door to the room while Tom's voice is muffled behind it)
  Mat: Ah, the first step of FNAF theorizing: slowly losing your mind.
• In Mat's Final Theory, he creates multiple endings, some funnier than others.
  • In the Lorekeeper ending, Steph asks what he's gonna do, to which he pays a visit to Scott Cawthon himself. Scott says they have much to discuss, implying it to be more FNAF lore.
  • In the Chaotic Ending, Steph and Mat take a well deserved vacation. Cut to the theorists back in the office going crazy with the entire place in well... chaos.
  • The Meme ending has Mat riding on Music Man, Nyan Cat style.
  • The Insanity Ending has Mat returning to theorizing right as he retired. Steph comes back to find him losing his mind with pictures of FNAF characters scattered everywhere in the studio. Mat declares he was wrong about Gregory and Vanessa being robots, that he was the robot all along, and Steph was a robot too.
