Kingdom Hearts: Link to Life is a Kingdom Hearts fanfiction by No Limit. According to him, it is supposed to be something of a Spinoff. However, No Limit features other companies' creations besides Disney licensed ones.
The story tells of the Original Character Rika Itonami, daughter of original main character Sora, and her journey through discovery of her destiny. With help from Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, Rika has to "Link" the worlds together before all of existence is wiped out and face the deadly foes known as the Purifiers and the Soulfuls. Will they save the day? Unlikely, but they'll try anyway!
Interestingly, the story features more than one protagonist. While Rika is the lead character, other main characters include original characters Kuro Higure, lifelong friend of Rika's, son of Riku and something of a pervert.
Along with that, each main character is accompanied by not only their two (three in Kuro's case) party members but a whole crew of characters, each serving a purpose to the group.
The story, while attempting to be loyal to the source material, often pokes fun at the original games and formula. Mainly running on Rule of Funny and Rule of Fun, No Limit rarely takes the story that seriously. This is actually a redone version of the first Link to Life, as No Limit did not feel that the first time around was done very well - which, in turn, was a redo of his first Fan Fic.
Has been announced to have been canceled in favor of a another remake of the story, simply called Link to Life, which you can read here. After three chapters, that too was canceled when No Limit decided to retire from writing fanfics.

Kingdom Hearts: Link to Life provides examples of:
- Alternate Continuity: So much so that the Final Fantasy characters' ages aren't consistent!
- Anatomy of the Soul: Souls and Hearts are complicated.
- Author Appeal: No Limit likes to cast female main characters.
- Badass Army: Radiant Garden's SeeD. And when Rika, Kuro and Ashi's teams work together.
- Big Damn Heroes: Also part of No Limit's Author Appeal. Oh, let us count the ways...
- No Limit and other original character Wolf save Rika from her first Velasoulraptor attack.
- Jack saving Ron Stoppable from a Morning Star Heartless.
- And, in turn, the SCOTSMAN rescues Jack from the Power Arm Heartless.
- Bloodless Carnage: Averted. Whenever someone slashes one of The Heartless, blood is always mentioned. To a slightly disturbing effect.
- Chekhov's Gunman: Chapter 9 was all about setting them up.
- Circling Birdies: Variations of these occur between Rika, Daffy and Porky when they first meet.
- Combination Attack: Carries on the Combination Attacks with party members.
- Crash-Into Hello: Just like how Sora first met Donald and Goofy.
- Death In All Directions: The huge battle for Radiant Garden.
- Disney Death: Unsurprisingly, Kuro after Destiny Islands gets destroyed. Again.
- Dynamic Entry: Just when the Power Arm Heartless is about to take Jack's heart, THE SCOTSMAN COMES IN, CUTTING OFF THE POWER ARM'S ARM WITH HIS CLAYMORE!
- Also done earlier by Wolf to a Soulful.
- Eldritch Abomination: The Soulfuls. Described as worse than the Heartless. Then again, they DO destroy souls....
- Freudian Trio: Not just Rika and Ashi's main partners, but Rika and Kuro and Ashi together:
- Rika's Group:
- Rika: Reasonable and reserved. (Ego)
- Daffy: Wild and nutty. (Id)
- Porky: Balanced and order. (Superego)
- Ashi's Group:
- Rika, Kuro and Ashi:
- Rika: Annoyed and sarcastic. (Ego)
- Kuro: Believes in keeping everything together. (Superego)
- Ashi: Passionate and rather impulsive. (Id)
- Rika's Group:
- Generation Xerox: The destruction of Destiny Islands and how Rika meets Daffy and Porky to the point of ridiculousness. However, adverted with Kuro.
- Hammerspace: The Warners, dammit! The Warners!
- The Heartless: It's Kingdom Hearts.
- Humanoid Abomination: The Purifiers.
- Impossibly Cool Clothes: Rika, Daffy and Porky pick up some rather nice ones from Edna Mode.
- Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Pete is still with Maleficent. And Chase Young has Jack Spicer, Zim and GIR.
- Lampshade Hanging: Another Author Appeal. Rika, Daffy and Porky do it multiple times per chapter.
- The chapters hang lampshades.
- MacGuffin Location: You know how Traverse Town is the fragments of the worlds whose hearts were lost to the Heartless? The entire premise is based on that small fact.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Ever want to see Samurai Jack ask for a Squishee from the Kwik-E-Mart? Now you can!
- Meaningful Name: Rika's name is Japanese for "link" or "linker"; and Kuro's is Japanese for "black."
- Mr. Exposition: Lampshaded by chapter titles.
- Mythology Gag: Several for the various series featured, and one toward the story being a redo of the first Link to Life when Stardom Key mentions déjà vu when Rika first arrives in Traverse Town.
- Now, Where Was I Going Again?: Yakko, Wakko and Dot take on the role of chroniclers for Rika like what Jiminy Cricket did for Sora. However, they often lose interest and Wakko keeps eating the pages.Wakko: Mmm, vowels....
- One-Man Army: Adverted. Unlike what Sora did in Kingdom Hearts II, the others has backup.
- Original Generation
- Our Souls Are Different: The Soulfuls.
- The Power of Friendship: It's what helped Rika out of her BSOD.
- Refusal of the Call: Rika's reaction when told the plot.
- Saving the World: Well, worlds. However, they're actually all little worlds that were broken off from one world, so technically that's still one world.... My head hurts.
- Shout-Out: So many that it breaks continuity. Such as Batman being in a universe where one of his movies is mentioned by Daffy earlier.
- Took a Level in Badass: If Duck Dodgers didn't count, Daffy and Porky here. Also Toad.
- True Companions: Rika, Kuro and Ashi's teams. Rika, Daffy and Porky's especially shown at the end of Chapter 5.
- Two Guys and a Girl: Rika, Kuro and Ashi
- Technically, Rika, Daffy and Porky too.
- The Usual Adversaries: The Soulfuls, the Heartless, the Nobodies...
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: What the Big Bad is, considering she's destroying worlds so they'd form together again into Traverse Town.
