Film4 Productions is a British film production company, owned by television channel Channel 4, that has created several films (many in partnership with other distributing companies) that have been made in the UK. It is also related to the Channel 4 channel Film4, which often airs many of the films on television.
Typical films that they've made are costume dramas, Kitchen Sink Drama-based, and/or social-realist. Collectively, their films have won over 20 Academy Awards.
