A young man who seeks to do good with a power most would acquaint with evil.


  • Adaptational Badass: Instead of starting off as Quirkless and being offered One For All by All-Might, Izuku instead wields the power of All For One.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: Those who know about All For One know that the villain who used the Quirk was one of the most evil men around. Yet Izuku is using the power bestowed to him for good, even if he feels like he can't become a full-fledged Hero with it.
  • Berserk Button: Any danger that comes to his loved ones will drive Izuku into a frenzy. Just ask the Sludge Villain.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: His dad dubs him the 'Musutafu Mauler', which he's embarrassed by. Still, he prefers that over being called 'Quirk Reaper'.
  • Foil: To his great-grandfather, All For One; both have built up support groups by taking and giving Quirks to live out their dreams, but Izuku never calls in favors like AFO did; only getting true friends. AFO also wants to become the greatest Villain while Izuku wants to be a great Hero more than anything else.
  • Redeeming Replacement: For all intents and purposes, Izuku is using the power of All For One to become what the original user could have been had he used his gifts for good instead of evil.
  • Undying Loyalty: Towards his friends. He urges them to go to UA without him and doesn't want their names dragged through the mud for his sake.

  • Bad Powers, Good People: His Quirk is hardly what most would expect to be good for hero work, but he's nowhere near a bad person.
  • Commonality Connection: He and Izuku first bonded over the shared burden of having Quirks that were deemed 'Villainous' by society.
  • Ship Tease: It is hinted that he has feelings for Himiko in this story.

A Perky Goth with a love for 'true' horror literature, gothic architecture, and woodcarving.


  • Dark Is Not Evil: Has a quirk based on the black cat and the misfortune it supposedly brings, but is a kind individual with a positive outlook on life.
  • Dude Looks Like a Lady: Possesses a slender, feminine build accentuated by his androgynous attire and delicate facial features.
  • Perky Goth: Quite friendly and outgoing, despite his intimidating appearance.

A short and cute boy with a mutation that makes him look like an adorable fluffy creature.


  • Expy: His overall appearance brings to mind Nanachi.
  • Friend to All Children: His cute, fluffy looks make him popular with younger children, which helps when it comes to babysitting.
  • Older Than They Look: He looks like a little boy with his diminutive height but he's the same age as Izuku and the others.

     Mira Kunaku

A young man with the appearance of a ferocious creature yet has a gentle and considerate heart.


  • Bio Manipulation: His Quirk allows him to alter the shape and properties of his body parts at the cellular level as well as regenerate from injuries and lost limbs.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Implied. He lives with Tadashi as it is said he has 'nowhere else to go'.
  • Face of a Thug: He looks like some kind of humanoid monster but he is a kind-hearted individual.

     Gani Morcorba

Quirk: Demon Skeleton

A boy with the appearance of a flaming skeleton with a love of jokes.


  • Bad with the Bone: He can create and manipulate bones as part of his Quirk. However, that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what he can do.
  • Expy: His character both in design and personality is a composite of Ghost Rider, Brook, and Sans.
  • Friendly Skeleton: He looks like a living skeleton covered in blue flames, but he's a fun-loving jokester.
  • Official Couple: With Himeri.
  • Pungeon Master: He loves cracking all sorts of puns depending on the situation, much to everyone's chagrin.

A boy with the appearance of a vampire.


  • Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: He has the appearance of a vampire but is a good-natured young man.
  • Power Copying: His Quirk not only gives him the same physical abilities and characteristics of a vampire but he can also sort of copy the Quirks of others by taking some of their blood.

A young man with the appearance of an 80s slasher film villain but is actually a kind-hearted and noble friend.

A rotund girl who is a member of a small Yakuza family.


  • Big Beautiful Woman: She is noticeably rotund in shape but it does not detract from her beauty.
  • Transmutation: Her Quirk allows her to manipulate any kind of matter with a touch. She cannot affect living matter though.

     Kuro Sakamoto

A young man with a sentient Quirk which takes the form of a parasitic entity called 'Kiri'.


  • Expy: He and Kiri together clearly are one to Venom.
  • The Symbiote: His Quirk takes the form of a sentient mass of black sludge called 'Kiri', which can cover his body like a power suit, shapeshift, and more.

     Renji Fangei

A young man with the ability to spawn minions to aid him and do his bidding.


  • Expy: Of The Overlord.
  • Mook Maker: His Quirk allows him to create gremlin-like creatures with unique skills based on their skin color and who carry out tasks and aid him in his actions.

A flamboyant and perverted young man with a flair for the dramatic.


  • Biomanipulation: His Quirk allows him to manipulate hormones in himself and other people's bodies for a variety of effects.
  • Expy: Of Emporio Ivankov and Hentai Kamen.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: He is Pansexual, openly perverted, and extremely eccentric yet he is considered a dear friend by Izuku and the rest of the gang.
  • Shipper on Deck: Supports Izuku and Setsuna getting together.
  • The Tease: He is very flirtatious in his words and mannerisms.

  • Afraid of Their Own Strength: She's downright terrified of letting the 'beast' out with her Quirk unless there is no other option.
  • Our Werebeasts Are Different: Her Quirk allows her to transform into a vicious beast, which she is scared of letting out unless absolutely necessary.
  • Shrinking Violet: She's quite insecure and nervous, often requiring her friends to help bring back up her confidence.

  • Semi-Divine: His Quirk channels powers from the Hindu God, Mahakala.
  • Twofer Token Minority: He's half-Scottish, half-Japanese.

  • Shrinking Violet: She matches Yuriko as the most shy and timid member of Izuku's group.

  • Heroic Lineage: He comes from a line of heroes, his dad and grandfather having been the previous holders of his Quirk.

  • Big Brother Worship: Despite Izuku putting himself down due to the nature of his Quirk, Izumi thinks the world of her brother.
  • Elemental Powers: Her Quirk allows her to create and manipulate the elements, and not just the five/six core ones.
  • The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Izuku believes in this trope with her, planning on being the 'Villain' that helps make her Hero career if Izuku cannot become a Hero himself.
  • You Are Worth Hell: She refuses to go to UA if her brother isn't going to be there with her.

     Katsuki Bakugo

Izuku's childhood friend and rival. He's a lot nicer than his canon counterpart due to the changed circumstances he's living through.


  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Never becomes a bully here, instead maintaining his friendship with Izuku and serving as a minder of sorts regarding his vigilante activities.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Has quite the foul mouth, which his headstrong personality exacerbates.

  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Girly Girl to Himeri's Tomboy.

     Himeri Ikeda

  • Big Beautiful Woman: She's quite podgy, about as big and plump as Okabe, but is still quite beautiful.
  • Fog of Doom: Her Quirk allows her to project her soul energy as a fog that she can freely manipulate in any way she chooses.
  • Official Couple: With Gani.
  • Only Sane Man: Out of Izumi's friend group, she feels like Himeri is the most logical thinker compared to her overly-politeness and Okabe's eccentricity.
  • Opposites Attract: She's in a relationship with Gani Morcorba, simply stating that 'he makes her laugh'.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Okabe's Girly Girl.

  • Adaptational Job Change: Instead of being an overseas worker, Hisashi is a lawyer and a damn good one at that.
  • Crusading Lawyer: He works as a lawyer who will always fight to help his client and punish the guilty, as shown by him helping indict the Toga Family for their abuse of Himiko.
  • Papa Wolf: He is fiercely protective of his children or any other child who is suffering and in need of help.

The Symbol of Evil and Izuku's great-grandfather as well as the one whose Quirk he has inherited.


  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He dearly loved his late significant other, Kamiko, who Dr. Ujiko even says was his 'better half'. When he learns the Midoriyas are her direct descendants, he chooses not to interfere with their lives but does make a note to keep an eye on them.
  • Related in the Adaptation: Is the great-grandfather of Izuku and Izumi.

  • Even Evil Has Standards: Absolutely hates people who Would Hurt a Child thanks to his own traumatic childhood, using his copy of All for One to remove Overhaul's Quirk before leaving him to the tender mercies of Dr. Garaki after he puts two and two together on how the Yakuza boss' Quirk-destroying drug was made.
  • Evil Counterpart: He has similar goals in mind to Izuku, wanting to make life better for other people. However, Tomura desires the complete destruction of the very concept of Heroes and Villains.
  • Expy: To Dio Brando's portrayal in Stone Ocean. Word of God states that he will be a much bigger thinker in this story with plans to change the world and perhaps even existence itself.
  • Worthy Opponent: He considers Izuku to be a worthy opponent due to their similar ideologies.
