Well, I told myself that I'd make my next post when I had 200 words worth of tropes, but several things came to me at once while I was exercising, so here I am with about 400 words (although only seven trope bullet points).
@ Scooby-Doo Direct-to-Video Film Series
- I Gave My Word: Alejo promised his late father that he'd never sell their land and takes that promise very seriously.
- Alternate Character Interpretation: When Calhoun appears as the Mouth of Sauron for Captain Wilson, he describes having to kill Matt Stone when he tried to escape. Did killing his friend drive Calhoun to assist the other members of the lynch mob in bribing Cooper, or did he remain loyal to them the whole time and fake Stone's death?
- Jerkass Woobie: The vigilantes, save for Miller (who is secretly an outlaw himself). They hung an innocent man without giving him a chance to prove his case. Still, they are previously law-abiding men with roots in the community who had logical reasons to believe he'd murdered two of their neighbors and that the law was spread too thin to punish him. Five of the nine (Jenkins, Tommy, Matt Stone, Charlie Blackfoot, and Maddow) feel remorse for nearly killing an innocent man. They find themselves being hunted down by him, forcing them to choose between becoming outright outlaws by making another attempt on Cooper's life or losing their livelihoods by submitting to arrest or fleeing the territory.
- Nearly Normal Animal: Sam and the other cats are LNAs. They understand everything humans say and refer to humans as their roommates and/or employers. A cat who lives in a police station introduces himself as Officer Gomez, and Sam's friend Butch considers chasing mice at the supermarket to be a job. Some cats hire other cats to do jobs for food. Cats are capable of making phone calls to each other, reading, and typing emails. Shortly before The Big Catnap Sandy and Rosie have a church wedding, with another cat acting as the minister. In The Maltese Kitten, Butch talks about joining the Republican Party.
- Nerd Glasses: Mary Elise is a shy, somewhat nebbishy young woman with thick-rimmed glasses.
- Sassy Black Woman: Kori's facial expression and tone of voice evoke some impertinence as she sings, Since U Been Gone.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: They sing for a few seconds during the auditions, have a couple of background scenes, and then get kicked out of the Bellas. Kori's departure doesn't even take place onscreen.

Hi guys. It's me again. Let's another try.
A Headscratcher for Anastasia:
- Immediately after Dimitri helps Anya and her grandmother to escape through the servants' quarters, some Bolshevik break into Anya's room and ask Dimitri where the Empress and her granddaughter are. Of course, Dimitri grabs a lamp and throws it at one of the soldiers, who knocks him out with his musket. However, if they wanted him to reveal them where the surviving Romanovs were, then why they knocked him out? It's not like the lamp could damage them and they can't interrogate an unconscious person...
Twisted Wonderland Characters
- Cloudcuckoolander: Like Doopy, Toby has a habit to act silly and sometimes not in his mind most of the time.
- Forgetful Jones: During introduction at VDC festival, he forgot his own name until Gran reminds him, Dominance has to help him where he dozes off where he forget what he suppose to do during the dance performance with Neige and the other dwarf students.
- Locked Out of the Loop: Neige is very friendly to Vil, but he is unaware of Vil's hostility and jealousy towards him for being the ""fairest of them all".
- Nice Guy: Neige is actually a kind and carefree person who is a friends with the dwarf students and very friendly to everyone he meets.

@Bootlebat: Yeah, that's correct. I've seen commas regarding sentences like that tend to vary depending on the person. Personally I would write it like this, with one comma:
But it could also be written like this, with two commas:
It depends on your preference and what you think sounds good.

Le Chat
- Bait-and-Switch: A common kind of humor in the three panels strips is to have the third panel subvert the joke the first twos where seting up.
- Brutal Honesty: One page is about The Cat and his wife eating with a family of fans who won a "dinner with The Cat" contest, during all the stay, The Cat and his wife bluntly tell the family how they hate being here, how ugly the house is, how disgusting the food is and how they wish to never see them again (it's the second time the family won the contest), though the family don't seem to mind the insults.
- Creator Cameo: Philippe Geluck often appears in the comics.
- A Dog Named "Dog": The main character is a cat named The Cat.
- The Faceless: We never see the face of Roger, the reccuring barkeep, the only exceptions is in some strips that use encyclopedias images, but his looks is inconsistant because it always use differents images.
- Feels No Pain: In the comic where The Cat is a butcher who mutilates his own body to sell meat, he don't react at cutting his limbs and continue having a friendly conversation with an offscreen customer.
- Furry Reminder: While The Cat acts like an human, he sometime eat mices, even if they themselves have human like sentience.
- Insult to Rocks: According to The Cat, the expression "The Man is a wolf to the Man" is mean to wolfs and should be changed to "The Man is a Man to the Man", but that he said that it would be too harsh for the Man.
- Spell My Name with a "The": The Cat's first name is literally "The".

For YMMV.MGCM:
- Memetic Badass: Iroha takes the cake as she's the only one Magical Girl Warrior who is Hot-Blooded and has Boobs Of Steel, as she rescues Omnis and Lilly's alternate self by punching the Drake demon when teleported into the Alternate Universe where Omnis and Lilly' alternate self is in. It helps that later, Iroha has a skill that uses her Megaton Punch in her both Magica 2020 Evo and Ultimate Magica dresses. The fans draws a number of fanarts involving Iroha punches certain objects, such as the Honey Abalone.

"No matter how bad the heroes can get or how bad the situation is, we're sure we can overcome it and get our happy endings..."- Worf Had the Flu: Despite this armor supposedly being far more powerful than its predecessor the Mark 50, Tony has far more trouble fighting against Thanos this time round compared to back in Infinity War, despite the fact this Thanos should be less powerful due to lacking the Infinity Gauntlet and several stones. Justified in that while Infinity War Thanos wielded more power, being older and more patient, he also fought with less intent to kill and was far less bloodlusted. In addition, while the armor is stronger than before, Tony has been retired for five years and his battle instincts substantially dulled.

Shortly before The Big Catnap <- no comma Sandy and Rosie have a church wedding, with another cat acting as the minister.

Thanks, Arivne. Hopefully the number of edits reflects my improvement rather than the post being shorter than usual.
- Dunbar's Offscreen Moment of Awesome where he blew up an ammunition train with a matchbox while being taken to the POW camp.
- Hoffy, Marko the mailman, and Steve the crutch smuggle a smoke bomb into the middle of the compound inside of Steve's empty pant leg as the Gestapo are taking Dunbar to their staff car. The rest of the prisoners then swarm the Germans, and Hoffy spirits Dunbar away and hides him in the watter tower as the Germans can only look around impotently.
- Sefton stops The Mole from ruining Dunbar's rescue by convincing the people who think he's The Mole to have that man guard him while they help Dunbar.
- Colonized Solar System: The Moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn's moons, and various asteroids throughout the solar system have been settled (mostly as Shout-Out's to various earlier Heinlein novels), as have numerous planets outside the solar system.
- Non-Action Guy: Buddy goes into the woods unarmed, apparently serving as the hunting party's tracker, and doesn't put up a fight against the yeti.
- He's Just Hiding: While Hesh-Ke is seen taking a pretty long fall off a cliff, she isn't shown hitting the ground, and once the other characters reach the bottom of the canyon, her body isn't there.
- Embarrassing Nickname:
- In Double Whammy, Hot-Blooded R.J. Decker's ex-wife calls him "Rage."
- In Flush, Payne Underwood was called "Pain-in-the-neck" Underwood as a kid.
Beware of heavy spoilers.

- Comments: The characters get powerful stories that feel true to their original depictions (particularly Lucy and Charlie), but with a few surprises thrown in. The author's summary also claims that the story is AU, which possibly averts the story's apparent Developing Doomed Characters nature.

...and was far less bloodthirsty. In addition...battle instincts are substantially dulled.

...and dies with him in the wire tower as the Germans can only look around impotently.
^ Did you mean to write "hides him"?
^ This is O.K. English, but since it's only one example at the 2nd level of indentation (two asterisks), it violates Example Indentation in Trope Lists.
Edited by Arivne on Jan 13th 2021 at 10:33:51 AM
Thanks Arivne. I'll check that second level indentation. I meant to say that Hoffy hides Dunbar in the water tower, not dies, although that's arguably an even worse mistake (especially since I also meant to say water tower instead of wire tower). While I clearly still have a long way to go, could you give estimates (both optimistic and pessimistic) of how long I need to stay on this thread?

- Adaptation Displacement: The movie is still remembered by western fans (although not always fondly) due to its All-Star Cast and Scenery Porn, and is better regarded than the now-obscure original novel.
- Deadpan Snarker: He has his moments.
- Javier questions Augustus's claim that the Trust has improved due to his leadership.
Augustus: Look at us now, on the same new page.Javier: Yes, one written on Medici Stationery.- Javier has an interesting choice of words to offer Graves his old job back.
Kotias: Augustus persuaded us that the grass could be greener without you (Graves).Javier: And we think the Trust needs some yard work.- Javier takes advantage of Carlito's choice of words to comment on Graves' unpredictability.
Carlito: C'mon Graves, you may play your cards close to the vest, but you wear your heart on your sleeve.Javier: And frankly, it's what's up it that has us concerned.
- Heel–Face Door-Slam: Two episodes ( "Hoo Done It" and "Bronzefinger") have multiple kooky but affable murdered guest characters be KAOS agents who were trying to defect.
- Hot Scientist: KAOS defector Dr. Canyon (the inventor of an invisibility serum) is a gorgeous brunette in a short skirt, which causes a Mistaken for Cheating moment when 99 finds her in Max's apartment.
- Vice President Who?: In "One Nation Invisible," the Chief asks Max who he thinks could walk through KAOS headquarters without attracting any attention, and Max guesses the vice-president.
- When Zeke tries to photograph DC and record his paw prints, he gets scratched and covered in inky paw prints, causing Zeke to press an index card to his forehead to record the print.
- DC goes running off the second he hears Gregory talking about having a duck hanging on his porch, steals the duck, and gets chased by Gregory.
- The scene where DC steps in front of the movie projector and the ticket collector chases him over several car roofs.
- The Geneva Convention inspector spends every moment he's on-screen snarking about the poor attempts at making the POW camp's conditions seem better than they are and threatening von Scherbach over his plan to execute Dunbar as a saboteur without any evidence.

A potential entry for Live-Action TV:
- Miss Sherlock: It didn't long for most fans to latch onto shipping Sherlock and Wato, like with most versions of the two characters, it had already started before the first episode aired, and only grew as the episodes aired. There's plenty of fanfiction, fanart, and fanvids for the ship, along with the pairing blowing up on Twitter, and having a strong fallowing on Tumblr. This is mainly due to the chemistry between their actresses, the Les Yay between them, and the fact that their dynamic is the focus of the show. This continued even after Wato was given a proper love interest, Moriya, though thankfully he managed to avoid Die for Our Ship, and continues even after the show ended.

That to meet their rulers bloody quota, some of his commanders would even slaughter they're own wives. The campaign endings is the most ominous in the game. With the ruler being informed that Tamerlane himself now awaits him outside the city walls, and the man who came to warn him reveals himself as being once a mighty Khan, reduced to nothing by the "Titan Among Mortals", the ruler must now confront.
