Original post:

Short Hair With Tail's description says that the hairstyle can be used to show the duality between the masculine and feminine traits a character has but the trope is almost always used for the hairstyle itself. In the wick check I did below, I only found two examples that had context beyond "character has this hairstyle".

Solution

I don't see anything worth salvaging out of this trope so I think either disambiguating between Anime Hair, Meaningful Appearance, Fashionable Asymmetry and other tropes or just cutting the page would be the best courses of action. Saving 6k inbounds for an old trope like this isn't that important to me so I am going for a cut.
