- Accidental Innuendo:
- When GĂ©rard Depardieu guest starred, he was given an interpreter called Aurelie. Midway through the show, Graham invoked this by asking "have you enjoyed Gerard, Aurelie?"note
- Dan Stevens claims he lied on his resume saying he knows how to ride a horse, and Hayden Panettiere says she knows anyway. Dan says "of course she can ride, she's American" and then realizes what he's just said.Hayden: Your mother-in-law is watching this.
- When Matt LeBlanc confessed to only watching the first season of Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke responded that it was okay because "you've seen the good bits."note Immediately acknowledged as she buries her face in her hands in embarrassment.
- Best Known for the Fanservice: Referenced whenever Graham brings up a work that falls under that category. The guest will usually be asked about it:
- Dame Julie Andrews appearing topless in S.O.B..
- Dame Helen Mirren's nudity in Calendar Girls.
- Amy Adams's Navel-Deep Neckline in American Hustle.
- Channing Tatum's former career as a stripper.
- Keira Knightley making weird sex faces in A Dangerous Method, and her raunchy library love scene with James McAvoy in Atonement.
- Hugh Jackman's many Shirtless Scenes, especially in the X-Men Film Series.
- Estrogen Brigade: Lampshaded repeatedly whenever Tom Hiddleston appears — to the point where the opening skit was merely Graham putting ear plugs in before announcing him.
- Harsher in Hindsight:
- On Carrie Fisher's last appearance on this show, she spoke of, among other things, her plans for Christmas. She suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma just before the holiday, and died only two weeks after the episode aired.
- On a similar note, Daniel Kaluuya, Michael B. Jordan and Martin Freeman have had nothing but nice things to say about Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, who appeared on the show only once in late 2019. He discussed, among other things (including his then-most recent film 21 Bridges), plans for the sequel which was due to be released in 2022. These plans were compromised after the tragic passing of Chadwick to colon cancer in August of 2020, leading to the Retool of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
- Heartwarming in Hindsight: When Jessica Biel was promoting New Years Eve, Graham asked if being a pregnant woman had got her thinking about becoming a mother for real. As of 2015, Jessica and husband Justin Timberlake welcomed a son named Silas.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Lenny Kravitz appeared as the musical guest and offhandedly mentioned that he had a little movie "called The Hunger Games" coming soon, followed by absolutely no reaction from the crowd. Oh, they had no idea. This is made better by how Graham's YouTube channel has a montage of Jennifer Lawrence's appearances on the show named "The Hunger Grahams".
- Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt getting on very well when they appeared together on the shownote , two years before they played feuding sisters in The Huntsman: Winter's War.
- A rather immediate example. When discussing phobias, Elizabeth Olsen suggested the nightmare of having teeth falling out meant a fear of money. Jeremy Renner says "who has a fear of money?" Turns out one of the audience members polled said she had a fear of loose change.
- When Jessica Chastain and Chris Hemsworth were promoting The Huntsman: Winter's War, the subject of dogging was mentionednote . Hemsworth didn't know what it was. But in the film, there is a scene where their characters have sex in the woods — with other characters nearby.
- Discussed between Joanna Lumley and Jennifer Saunders. The two apparently had zero chemistry for a reading of a pilot together, and Joanna called her agent afterwards to get her off the project. She was advised to see it through and then move on when it failed. The pilot was for Absolutely Fabulous.
- In one episode, when Graham notes that guest Dev Patel has never been on a celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in the wake of Slumdog Millionaire, he springs a WWTBAM-style multiple-choice question on him about fellow guest (and co-star) Judi Dench, regarding a cheeky prank where she put something into a neighbor's mailbox as a kid. One of the options is "A dog poo," which guest Sharon Horgan says to eliminate because "She's a Dame, she's not a dog poo lady!" A few years later, Tracey Ullman would do a sketch where Dench runs afoul of the law for throwing her dog's wrapped-up poo into a tree when there are no trashcans around.
- Most Wonderful Sound: Christina Ricci's terrified "But...oooh!" at Graham pulling out her high school yearbook. Many comments describe it as the most adorable sound ever.
