Missions

  • If Team Rabbits are recruited first during the Space Route, then Stage 2 has Izuru ask the Protagonist to become a model for one of his sketches. Humor quickly ensues.
    • If you choose to do the scene with Edge, then Izuru drew him as an adventure hero and inadvertently calls Edge ugly by saying he made the drawing more handsome than the actual person. As expected, Edge gets annoyed and chews Izuru out over it. Humorously enough, Kei and Tamaki believe the sketch to be accurate, to which Suruga advises them to avoid telling Edge that.
    • If you choose to do the scene with Az, then she's left speechless and can only cringe in horror as Izuru is revealed to have drawn her as a Magical Girl of all things.
  • Earth Route, Stage 2: If you recruit the J-Decker team after recruiting the Combattler V team, then Deckard mentions to Hyouma about the time he caused three police cruisers to wreck while chasing him on a motorcycle. Hyouma begs him not to bring up past incidents.
  • Earth Route: After Yuta and Deckerd join the team, it becomes really obvious that Mitsuba wants to take care of the boy.
  • Earth Route: Ernie is having a massive fanboy moment upon seeing the Dreikreuz's lineup of Humongous Mecha, that after the mission the first thing he did was go to the hangar and admires all the robots! Bonus points if you have recruited Tetsuya and Hyoma who were both amused when Ernie mentions Great Mazinger and Combattler V.
  • Earth Route: The implication that Akane has to work overtime to make several Ghoulghilas on top of a Devadadan in the 2nd part of Gridman's stage was not lost on fans.
    • Also doubles as a Tear Jerker given how Akane in the anime slips into depression after repeated losses. Having to work more would make such a thing more poignant.
    • If Ernie has been recruited before this, during the mini-arc denouement, Kid and Addy express he must be thrilled to be up close and personal with a robot as weird and exotic as GRIDMAN. Ernie forgets himself and dismissively claims he's "Not really an ULTRA guy", much to their confusion.
  • Yuta (Gridman) meeting Yuta (J-Decker)
  • During the "Zilkhstan's Darkness" stage, Kallen and Sayoko are having a rough time in a street fight against Swaile and his Master of Illusion Geass powers, until Van enters the fight. Swaile tries to use his Geass on him, but when Van declares that he'll just have to wreck everyone in sight to get him anyway, he panics and flees the scene.
C.C.: I don't know who you are, but it seems your raging stupidity has saved us all.
  • When you recruit Masaki Andoh, he recognizes Koji (and if you recruited him before, Üso) and mentions the encounter with the Aerogaters, meaning this is the Masaki from Super Robot Wars Alpha. Fridge Logic kicks in as you realize that, somehow, his No Sense of Direction has gone Beyond the Impossible: he's traveled through space and time.
    • Even crazier, if you remember that Another Century's Episode R is canon in the Original Generations Saga, as well as Hero Senki for the Classic Saga, he's not even the first Masaki iteration that managed that feat!
  • Randy of the Doberman Squad shamelessly declares his interest in the female members of Dreikreuz while introducing himself to the group. Cue eye rolls from the female pilots, including Az.
  • Upon first meeting Zoltan, he immediately moves to the front of the map ahead of his army, delighted at the chance to fight you. A moment later, he looks back at his soldiers and threatens them not to just hide behind him, prompting their morale to jump to 130.
Zoltan: Oh my dear, treasured comrades, do you intend to hide behind your commander like cowards? I don't have room for worthless trash like that in my team...
Amuro: Did the enemy's morale just jump?!
  • The mission “From Beyond” features Ernesti observing the numerous kinds of mecha the players has recently recruited. The pilots’ responses are just as priceless.
  • During the mission "Alone in the Wild", the group ends up in a scuffle with the Zanscare forces once more. After seeing the Gedlav and its support vehicle the Einerad in person, Edge will lampshade how ridiculous it looks and asks who the hell came up with the idea of creating a Mobile Suit that rides a wheel into battle.
  • Poor Hyouma seems to have PSTD regarding the Training from Hell he was put through at the hands of Ryoma and Tetsuya. It's to the point that just mentioning their names is enough for Hyouma to lose his cocky attitude.
  • On rare occassions, Lelouch will break character and yell like a Getter Robo pilot when firing the Absolute Zero Beam.
  • Mobile Suit Victory Gundam's infamous bikini suicide squad comes up abruptly in "A Fearsome Trap". While the prototype Angel Halo is being used, causing the Newtypes in the team to hallucinate, Uso rushes to the colony in a misguided attempt to save Katejina. At this point, Katejina sics said squad on him out of nowhere. Even the squad members think the set-up is a bit ridiculous. Fortunately, Shakti and the Phenex manage to snap everyone out of the trance and destroy the prototype before anyone gets hurt.
  • Keita being introduced to Ryoma. Just after coming home and seeing his house wrecked he gets introduced to Shin Getter Dragon. He quips how mean it looks and wonders if Getter Robo is going through a "punk" phase. Ryoma then steps out, to which he quips that a punk stepped out of the punk. After delivering to him the stolen Kakuseijin V2, the group immediately wonders why Ryoma had it with him in the first place with Edge/Az thinking he was the one who stole it which he immediately denies.
    • The accusation from Edge makes it funnier ("Guess you gotta judge a book by it's cover") even his own shady-looking design.
    • This is immediately followed by Keita going on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge on a Zero Robo where he lets slip that he hadn't gotten the chance to pop the question to Hinoki. Kei and Tamaki barely recognize what he just said before the Magic Knights realize that he unwittingly asked Hinoki to marry him. And while this is going on, Hayato and Benkei end up boarding Shin Getter Dragon, telling Ryoma that they couldn't rest with all the racket going on!
    • The end of the chapter have Mitsuba closing out the operation as per usual.... followed by her commanding the entire team to not eavesdrop on Keita and Hinoki's conversation.
    • This chapter also started the running gag of the Getter Team being single. Upon seeing Keita and Hinoki, Ryoma laments that instead of a girlfriend he get stuck with Hayato and Benkei.
  • At the end of "Preordained Destiny", the protagonist passes out. Mitsuba goes to see them in the medbay, and runs into Mayvy there, who agrees to leave them alone for a bit. If you're playing as Edge, though...
Mayvy: Have a good time, you two.
    Mitsuba: Er, what?! No, it's-
Mayvy: Just don't stain that bed. I take naps there.
    Mitsuba: HEY!
  • While discussing how to get Ange to forge a better bond with Team Rabbits they conclude that Ange might have more respect for Izuru if they were beaten or saw Izuru in Full Burst Mode. Thus training is in order and Izuru is all for it. Utsumi suggests he does flips on a trampoline, catch a spiked ball and get chased around by a jeep. Rikka wonders where he gets this stuff, which are all training regimens from Ultraman Leo.
  • The first appearance of Giant Sang Yung has virtually all the female pilots fawning over how cute he looks. This even extends to their battle lines. Even the aggressive, tomboyish Kallen is not immune.
    • If Az was chosen as the main character, she will have special pre-battle lines noting how cute it is.
    • Meanwhile, most of the men are baffled by the response - including Uso snapping at the Shrikes that it's not the time for them to start fawning over it and Lelouch struggling to keep his composure.
  • If you're able to recruit Princess Aska, when she first attacks with Giant Sang Yung, C.C. admits she's jealous and if there was a way to get him in a snuggle size, prompting Lelouch to let out a Flat "What" and Kallen to admit C.C. was always into weird stuff.
  • One conversation aboard the Dreisstrager has the Rayearth girls wanting the Getter Team to mentor them. The latter three are so dumbstruck by the notion but have a hard time refusing Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu due to their sincerity and initially don't know what to do as the girls badger them.
  • It's possible to cause a few time paradoxes since the mission lineup isn't always perfect. How so? It is possible to play 'What the Heart Dictates' where Yuta attempts to catch Victim with the aid of Guy, J and Renais. One problem: it is possible to play this stage with 'The Lion Revived -PHOENIX-' available hence J and Renais are able to help BEFORE they are rescued from The Conqueror King's influence.
  • "Dark Invitation" is mainly a moment of awesome for the team, as the pilots fight outside of their mechs. What makes this comedic is that Lelouch is one of the characters that get used in his moment, even though he's infamous for being physically underwhelming (presumably he was being one of the tacticians, but still).
  • Zoltan, in general, has the game heavily lean into his antics and makes him a Deadpan Snarker about everything. As a boss, he has a personalized taunt for practically every individual playable unit in the game. This makes him stand out all the more when he's placed against the ultra-serious Chronicle.
Zoltan: Look, friendo, I heard you've got a case of The Gundams yourself with the League Militaire, so here's a tip just for you. Gundams aren't a decoration. They're not a subject to study. They're garbage to crush underfoot. And if you want your people to listen to you, I'd suggest a sightly better argument than "I'm the Queen's brother, listen or raaargh !"
  • In "An Answer Found", if Michael and Fasalina were recruited, this will happen when Van battles Caruleum:
Michael: A smile without any selfish desire...
Fasalina: He reminds me of our Comrade.
Van: Well hell, now I KNOW he's our enemy!
  • If you unlock "A Dish Best Served Cold", Edge/Az will dryly note that Michael and Fasalina seriously need to get a room.
  • Aside from his usual quirks, Van can absolutely baffle certain bosses with his Cloudcuckoolander tendencies. When fighting Alexis, he compares the black of Alexis's body/outfit to the black of his tuxedo and the former has absolutely no idea how to respond to it other than absolute bafflement.
  • Possibly unintentional, but despite how intense the final battle can be, the Ultim Fini's idle animations are oddly hilarious, with one post-damage animation having it applauding your unit while its death animation has it giving a thumbs up ala Terminator 2.
  • In the Expansion Pack, when Caruleum is revealed to still be alive, he tries to give a big speech declaring his return...keyword tries, as Edge/Az immediately recognizes him and calls out to him, interrupting the speech.
    • After the Etrangers are pushed back, if Edge is the protagonist, he playfully ribs on Caruleum a little, saying that since he was one of the first members of Dreikreuz, its okay for him to have more pull than a "newbie" like Caruleum... right in front of Ryoma, Tetsuya, Lelouch and C.C. Needless to say, he quickly regrets what he just said.
  • If you have the Magic Knights face the Posaydal Army units, they reveal one tidbits about themselves: They don't like Heavy Metal (that is, the music genre) and express their annoyance towards the genre which had nothing to do with the robots they're facing, where the Posaydal army soldiers probably wouldn't be putting up Heavy Metal music in their cockpits. Fuu practically gives herself a Self-Imposed Challenge by trying to face the Heavy Metals 'with ears open'.
  • Anytime Zoltan faces a red machine. He will rant each time that he hates them and wants them destroyed.
  • Anytime the Two Getter Teams interacts, especially the Ryomas.

DLC

  • In "The Secret Ingredient Is...", things get heated in the kitchen when Kei, Amm and Leccee get competitive with their baking and cooking. Kei insists that more sugar will make her cakes better despite being told overwise. Van wolves down her cake without adding a single condiment while finding it delicious. Even better is that, while she was initially flattered, Kei later realizes that if Van liked it then she really is doing something wrong.
  • In "Heroic Awakening", when the team were discussing Izuru acting OOC, Kei mentions that his manga is starting to get good. As if on cue, the "incoming catastrophe" BGM starts playing. When Izuru shows up acting confident and suave, everyone reacts with horror as they are so used to Izuru being awkward and hopelessly uncool. Lelouch even wonders if Izuru just acquired a Geass.
  • "Eternal Summer Heroes" starts out by combining the SSSS.GRIDMAN and Majestic Prince Beach Episodes until the Rabbits, Utsumi and Rikka realize something: Izuru and Yuta are missing. Cut to them being forced to train by the Battle Team, complete with "Combattler V no Uta" playing. Even worse is that the one pushing them is Chizuru.
    • During said mission, the group inevitably comes under attack by kaiju after Akane gets annoyed at Kei and Tamaki interrupting her fun time with Rikka. She sends two kaijus to attack them, making the two run for their lives, still in their swimsuits, on foot. Kei and Tamaki's struggle to outrun the kaijus is even detailed at the start of each player phase. Once both are safe and get back into their respective machines, they become rather vengeful to say the least.
    • The whole bit with Gridman's appearance during the mission. As they were away from the Dreisstrager, it seems that Yuta couldn't transform into Gridman to help Izuru out. Luckily for him however Calibur and the others came prepared and actually brought Junk with them just in case. As there's no electric outlet for them to connect to, they hooked it up to a bicycle to compensate with Utsumi doing the pedaling. There's also Gridman's continuous confusion over where he and the group are. His power also briefly fluctuates thanks to Utsumi slowing down for a bit.
  • In "A Brave Lineage (Alt. Route)", Tetsuya and the Getter Team decide to help Keita out after they notice how his relationship with Hinoki has somewhat stalled even after he proposed. Their solution? Making a man out of him by having do piloting drills. After doing a bunch, Keita eventually notes Tetsuya, Koji, and Amuro are all in relationships whereas the Getter Team are all still single. This actually causes Ryoma, Hayato, and Benkei to pause and results in Ryoma increasing Keita's drills tenfold out of annoyance.
  • In “Stupendous Robot Symposium,” Ernie and Keita become close friends over their deep interest in robots. Most of the conversation in this scenario is the two of them geeking out over the mechs, making comments that the player might have encountered in real life (such as the RX-78-2 Gundam's design having many super robot elements). Thankfully, for them, they have Amuro and Koji to keep up with them. The rest, while impressed by their fascination at first, get so exasperated over how they keep talking for hours. Made even worse when they think they were finished... only to start another protracted conversation about tactics.
  • "Unknown Horizons" particularly stands out for its silliness:
    • The Dreikreuz decides to investigate Giwaza, who just landed in San Francisco for unknown reasons. Turns out he was planning to build a resort there.
    • In order to gather intel, a task squad was formed, posing as a group of schoolgirls on a field trip. The squad consists of the three Magic Knights (who already have their school uniforms) and "Yuko" (actually Yuta Tomonaga Disguised in Drag).
    • The female crew members of Dreisstrager, including Captain Mitsuba, are revealed to be the ones who dressed young Yuta up and coached him in the ways of being a girl. Then Yuta Hibiki shows up, who is simply dressed in a Sailor Fuku and his hair tied up in a small pigtail. Turns out when the Dreisstrager crew called little Yuta, Hibiki showed up as well and the girls simply decided to have a try at the latter.
    • As Gablae starts getting suspicious of the "schoolgirls'" presence, Daba (also Disguised in Drag) shows up to corroborate their story, acting as their teacher. Gablae was so enamored by the "teacher's" good looks that he keeps yearning for "her" throughout the scenario, even asking Daba how to get in touch with "her". Daba decides not to reveal the truth just to let the man dream for a bit longer.
    • A number of Posaydal's soldiers show displeasure at being sent to a far-flung solar system, making them face unknown enemies in the process. When attacked, a number of soldiers express crippling fear of the opposition's units (seeing any machine with two eyes and a V on its forehead as a Gundam, as well as being terrified of enemy mechs being able to throw magic and Rocket Punches at them).
    • Deckerd was so impressed by Yuta's appearance as a girl that he decides to keep it stored in his memory for "future references".
  • Hyouma instantly expresses intense disapproval at Voltes V simply because of how similar it is to Combattler V. This includes being aggravated that Voltes is "one measly meter" taller.
  • In the mission where the player recruits Ogami, after Mitsuba tells him he's on another world, you're given one of three responses to choose from, complete with a timer jingle to make you hurry, the jingle being lifted directly from the Live and Interactive Picture System sequences that are a hallmark of his origin series.
  • The mission "Parisian Cherry Blossoms" has a load of laughs:
    • At the start of the mission, the Magic Knights confront Ogami over how well he gets along with the girls on the ship. Hikaru suggests that he's a ladies' man and Umi suggests he has a harem back in his world.
    • When we catch up to Sakura and Erica, the mere mention of Ogami gets the girls bickering before they straighten themselves up.
    • When the Dreikreuz arrive, you have the option of having Ogami relieved to see Sakura, Erica or just be glad the two are working together. Choosing one of the girls over the other will greatly boost her Morale as well and powering her respective Combination Attack with Ogami. Of course, one can Take a Third Option and choose the middle ground, which splits the boosts evenly between the two.
    • After the mission, Ogami tells the girls of what's going on when we get this scene:
Erica: Wait... did I send Paris to another world?
Ogami: Uh, no. You got it backwards.
Erica: ...World another to Paris send I did wait?
    Ogami: That's... not any closer.
  • The Hi-Nu Gundam's acquisition is split across two missions, with the first varying depending on whether you have the original Nu Gundam or not. If he doesn't have it, Amuro deliberately deploys in the outdated RX-78-2 to give the best possible data on his combat skills with no interference, but if he has the Nu Gundam then the stage is instead about his commenting that the Nu Gundam, being a rushed prototype, has already reached its limit. However, since the stage's enemies are still designed to avoid the RX-78-2 being outmatched, he can make those comments even after easily clearing the entire stage by himself.
  • In the second mission involving Kusuha and Bullet, Kusuha makes some of her signature health drink.
Van: What a bunch of babies. Fine, I'll have some.
    Kusuha: Here you go.
    Van: Thanks. Bottoms up. (Beat)
    Wendy: V-Van...?
Van: Delicious! Give me anoth- (Van collapses)
    • As a bonus, deploying Van in the stage causes the health drink to have its intended effects and starts him with 200 morale.
  • From "Beautiful, Righteous, and Strong".
    • Several of the girls on the Dreikreuz start getting agitated and irritable, and pretty much all of the men are terrified to step up. Koji tries to cool things down... and several of them absolutely rip into him with how he's still been on-and-off with Sayaka for a decade, with Kei bringing up his sexism from when he was younger.
    • The mission seems to answer the Ange question. All the female pilots and captains want to blow off some steam by taking to the field without any men. Amongst them is Ange and Tamaki comments that settles the question. Only to be told that they offered to come out and Mitsuba was simply too polite to double check. What makes it funny is Ange's battle side makes it very probable that they simply will take any chance to sortie just to fight.
  • One of the free DLC missions have our heroes investigate a mysterious signal proclaiming "19 million". They find it alright: a bunch of Geara Dogas lined up to make the number 1,900. They do not break formation at all, thus it's just one big MAP Spam mission!
  • If you get Bullet to reach Ace status, the congratulations skit revolve around Edge trying to control KoRyuOh in order to score with the ladies, much to Bullet's consternation that it's gonna fail. Why would Edge think of that? Because he sounds like Bullet so KoRyuOh would probably listen!
    • Meta-wise, it also represents the hilarious career route of Tomokazu Sugita himself: When he was new to the business and landed the role Bullet, he was much more of a cookie-cutter everyman seiyuu which fit well with Bullet's more 'normal guy' character. Afterwards, he developed into a meme guy who's more likely to voice snarky or meta-commentary characters such as Gintoki Sakata, most of which would end in utter hilarity or go down in meme history. The Ace chat skit exclusively had Edge dip into that to contrast with Sugita's humble beginnings with Bullet.
  • In "Ultraman in Worlds Unknown", you get two different reactions to the appearance of Ultraman — Utsumi will geek out incredibly upon seeing him, but if you have Mikazuki? He just calls him a weirdo.
    • At the end of the mission, Utsumi is practically having a panic attack at Mitsuba effectively doing the unthinkable and ordering Ultraman to reveal his identity, with Shinjiro Hayata and Mitsuba knowing that his actions are one of the few exceptions to the rule over his secret identity.
  • "The Man They Call Seven" has Gemini pairing Shinjiro Hayata and Shinjiro Taiga together for a job purely so she can make an Incredibly Lame Pun regarding their first names.
Gemini: Let's see it all clean as a whistle, Twinjiro!
  • In The Door Opens, Hayato Hayasugi and Chirico both get trapped on the game's version of Earth, faced with enemies out to kill both of them. When Shashot points out to Hayato that the green robot might also see them as an enemy, Hayato gives a rebuttal in his typical nature.
Hayato: "No, I don't think so."
    Shashot: "Why not?"
Hayato: "Isn't it obvious? That robot has the same colors as the Yamanote Line's E235 series! The pilot must be very serious, the kind of person who'd follow their schedule to the letter, transporting passengers from dawn 'til dusk! Oh, but now that I look at it better, that shade of green is slightly darker than the Yamanote's typical Yellow Green N.6..."
Shashot: "And even facing down our doom, you're still the same old Hayato..."
  • In "Firestarters" the unlikely team of Van, Chirico & Kallen. When Van can't stop bugging Chirico which Kallen has issues with. In the upcoming sneaking mission, Kallen goes undercover in a terrorist base. Meanwhile, Van & Chirico makes up talking about the woman in their lives. At this point, Kallen gets spotted and the other two comes to the rescue.
Van: "Well, I'll be damned, Chirico."
    Kallen: "Huh !?"
Van: "Don't let me down, Chirico. Follow me."
Chirico: "I'll go ahead, follow my lead."
Kallen: "They're acting like they're best buddies now. What happened ?"
    Van: "Don't bother, it's a guy thing."
    Chirico: "What he says."
    Kallen: "Urgh, Really ?"

Suspended Play Messages

  • One segment involving Lelouch and C.C. lampshades the introduction of the Gekkiou-Sui when Lelouch announces it's completion with grand fanfare... only for C.C. to reply "They slapped on legs and called it a day?"
  • Another segment has Mikoto testing Hana and Alouette on their cries of "Final Fusion! Program Drive!" Hana stammers while Alouette doesn't have that spirit. Mikoto shows them how it's done. Same thing happens in another skit where Guy and Akamatsu compete to see who can deliver the better "Final Fusion, Approved!" line, only for Taiga to come in and outdo both of them.
  • In one skit, Utsumi and Rikka imitate Yuta's "Access Flash!" cry, but Rikka apparently does it so well that she actually gets sucked into Junk.
  • In another one Mamoru would introduce himself, claiming he's the main character of "GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman". Guy speaks up, claiming he's the true main character. Then Betterman Lamia speaks up, claiming to be the true main character. This leads to Guy and Lamia slugging it out in the hall with Mamoru joining in for the title of "main character" before Keita steps in, sees the player off... and claims he's the real main character.
  • Sakura does a GaoGaiGar next episode preview... in the same Creepy Monotone with which she does the Betterman previews. Poor Hana is completely creeped out by this.
  • One skit has C.C. doting on Lelouch out of habit, warming some milk for him before both realize what they're doing much to their embarrassment as Kallen catches them in the act. Suzaku inevitably pops in as well, and completely oblivious to the situation, asks for a mug of honey for himself. Lelouch, C.C., and Kallen all quip how he hasn't change a bit much to his sudden confusion.
    • Another one involving poor Suzaku has him telling C.C. he found a plushie shop after finding out she left one of her old plushies back on the Avalon and he could take her there to get a replacement. She ponders it, but rejects it as she doesn't want to give up the plushie she has now. When Suzaku mentions how cute that was, C.C. goes completely tsundere, telling him to shut up before going off to sleep.
  • One skit has Go narrating a On the Next in the more animated style of how he did it in Getter Robo Armageddon, instead of his in-character out of battle stoicism. Once he's done, Ryoma butts in and wonders why Go talks like that when he does these things.
  • Advent implies the rather negative reaction most of the player base had to Z3 and most of the original plot involving him by pointing out that it seems like the player never ever wanted to see him again and is slightly saddened by it.
  • One skit has Hikaru lamenting that she isn't getting very far even playing on Beginner's Mode with Fuu consoling her as the former never played SRPGs before. Umi comes in a little condescending as she has been making quick progress through Expert Mode. As Hikaru praises her, Umi reveals that she has been using and abusing the EXP retention feature from getting game overs. Hikaru can only stare gaping while Fuu nonchalantly tells players to play at a level they agree with.
  • In one skit, Ernie passionatly pleads with the player to treat their units well in regards to upgrades and skills, only for Horatio to interrupt and instead claim that the player should focus exclusively on their Battleships. This sparks a very heated argument between the two.
  • The fact that Magister of all people has a Suspended Play skit is oddly hilarious, given how deadly seriously he's portrayed in the main game.

Meta

  • During the PV3 stream, Nobuyuki Hiyama ended up having the controls to play through the stage. What follows is one of pure hilarity.
    • The Running Gag of Hiyama accidentally pressing the directional buttons, turning the animations off. His excuse is that he usually plays on the PS4 and not on the Switch.
    • Üso gets shot down with a 41% hit rate from the enemy. Hiyama then makes Daisuke Sakaguchi say his retreat line with Sakaguchi saying it in the most deadpan way he can possibly say.
    • Terada trying to stop Hiyama from selecting the RX-78-2's All Out Attack, only to finally relent and lets Hiyama use it after just having Amuro attack with the Vulcans.
    • Tomokazu Sugita requests that Hiyama attack with the Dreissträger with the excuse of having Kenji Akabane speak in-game. But really, it's Sugita's excuse just to hear Saori Hayami with Akabane thinking that Mitsuba is cute.
      Sugita: Of course she is!
