Not Tropeworthy: Everythings Better With Spinning

This looks like one big article of People Sit on Chairs - many of the examples are just about things spinning at all. This would work alright as an index, but as a trope itself, it's far too universal and uninteresting. Most of the less trivial examples here already fall under the less useless Spin Attack.

Opening. This "Everything's better with" series has caused some serious problems back in the day.

Cut or repurpose as an index. Preferably with a rename if the latter is done. I'm personally fond of Spindex, if only for the sake of having a short Punny Name/Portmantitle instead of a long snowclone.

I'm on board with this.

So no umbrella trope for spinning as a Rule of Cool? There may be valid examples not fitting in a specific subtropes. Perhaps a wick check can tell us if these are worth keeping.

Agree that this doesn't need examples. Spindex is a good title.

I actually tried to get Everything's Better with Spinning converted into an index called The Spindex once in the past, but the TRS kind of died out. Hopefully it will work this time.

I'm on board with making it an index. "Spindex" is quite catchy, I have to admit.

As long as we sort the examples to the right sub-tropes instead of just dumping them I also support taking the chainsaw to it and making it an index.

Sounds good, especially since that's what the Everythings Squishier With Cephalopods thread is doing. I think any examples people aren't sure about should be brought here.

I think there's an argument for a spinning as Rule of Cool trope. Think of Magical Girl transformations and attacks featuring way too much spinning, for example. I don't see an existing trope those examples could be fit under.

Hence why we wanted to see if there were tropes hidden in this thing before nuking the examples.

Again, Spindex please.
