Series you discovered through the wiki

Berserk. I was initially averse to it because the first thing I learned about it was what happened during the Eclipse, but I'm glad that I've stuck with it so far.

I discovered The Mysterious Mr. Enter through a link on here, and that led to my interest in video reviewers for a long time. Too bad I don't like Enter anymore. :/

Legendz. I came across the page for it while looking at the Dragon Works page and gave the anime a look at.

I came across the SCP foundation on, IIRC, Painting the Medium.

Sinfest, I was asking myself "why is this in so many pages images ?" And so i checked it out.

A surprising amount. Steven Universe, Wander over Yonder, etc.

I just binged Total Drama Island. Total drama was one of those shows that I saw mentioned on a lot of Trope pages without really paying attention to it. But a couple days ago, I happened to be looking for a cartoon of about twenty-six episodes, not too serious, and wacky enough not to get boring if I watch several episodes in a row. TDI seemed to fit that description and so I thought "sure, why not" That's far from the only thing I discovered through Tvtropes of course. There are several webcomics, comics, games or animes i found through the wiki theses past years. In fact, when I'm looking for a particular type of manga/Anime, sometimes I just go to the page of a related trope and browse the exemples to see if there's one that pique my interest. A method that often proves surprisingly effective.

There are a few things that I have checked out due to having very short articles, but with enough information to catch my interest. This applies especially to some old comics, Grim Jack, which is like an action-packed combination of Judge Dredd and Planescape.

I guess more like "will check out at a later time", Snow White Zombie Apocalypse. Premise is neat and it helps that I'm going through a Fairy Tale brainrot rn.

What works haven't I been introduced to thanks to TV Tropes? Anime & Manga ^note  We all know that you can't be a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender without getting into legitimate Anime.

Two mecha anime come to mind: Armored Trooper VOTOMS and Fang of the Sun Dougram.

Tv tropes got me into fanfiction. I still come here to find jumping off points for fanfic. But specifically, I found this HG fanfic series called The End of the World. It's huge (6 Novel length fics, 3 novella length and about 10 one shots). It's basically become my replacement for HG lore as the og novels are a bit lacking in that.

My favorite movie, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. Back when there were a lot of ZCE Signature Scene examples and animated films had their own page, I tried to watch every movie mentioned on that page. Never finished it but IZETF was one of the movies

The band Porcupine Tree comes to mind.

Saw them listed as an example for a trope a few weeks ago, and was primarily interested in checking them out because of their band name (and because I heard they're fairly similar to Pink Floyd, another band I'm a fan of).

I discovered the Trails Series on this wiki and have been obssessed with it ever since. It's a rabbit hole I can't get out of.

Can movies count? If so, then one I've got is Grave of the Fireflies (a notoriously sad flick).

Scandinavia and the World. this inspired a bit of my art style unintentionally

Had no idea very Dark Comedy series like Kevin Spencer and Pizza existed, but I’m honestly glad I do now. It’s really interesting seeing my country and Australia do what can be best described as their own no-sympathy satires.

Of all works, Chikn Nuggit. It reminds me of the kinds of Web Animation I loved between the ages of 7 and 11.
