Mario Opens a Can of Beans
  • The whole episode is a Family Guy parody, complete with opening and closing credits based on that very show. And begins with a "remember the time when you..." flashback.
  • The beans join the list of things that can't be opened by normal means.
  • Meggy tries to think of an alternative to opening the forbidden chest. The most she can think of is an Inkling plush falling over into a bowl of ramen, resulting in an Error model replacing her head.
    • Meggy swears on Cthulhu that if the boys tries to use the chest...but the scene transitions on her and she tries to drag the previous scene back in.
  • The fact that Peter Griffin is apparently a powerful entity in this universe that our heroes keep trapped in a chest.
    • And that his name was bleeped out so it could have meant anything. SMG4 had to throw the bleep bar away when this punchline was revealed.
  • Mario suddenly develops voice acting for a heartfelt plea to spare his beans. It doesn’t work.
  • SMG3 wonders what the deal with Peter and Mario was about. When told it's "Family Guy stuff", he admits it makes sense.
  • At the end, it’s revealed that Peter and Mario ate from a can of beans Lois was storing the ashes of her mother in.
    Lois: PetaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAHH
     You Used To Be Cool...
  • The Failure Montage of Eggman trying to coach SMG3 through being a villain:
    • After a short rehearsal goes well, SMG3 screws up a bank robbery by demanding they put the money in his ass. Birdo is happy to oblige, which makes SMG3 collapse in on himself.
    • SMG3 successfully poisons a drink and stirs it with his finger, only to stupidly suck the residue off it once he's done. He crumples to the ground. To add insult to injury, the poisoned drink was for Swag, who isn't affected at all, complimenting the taste as being "like how they served it in Vietnam".
    • SMG3 poorly vandalises the Mona Lisa with an advertisement for his cafe. Kaizo walks by and calls it disgusting, making SMG3 cry.
    • SMG3 is tasked to steal a car. Too bad he ends up stealing Boopkins toy car right next to it. Cue the slowest police chase in the world.
  • Boopkins’ reasons for joining Villains Anonymous? Revenge on SMG3 for getting carjacked and a chance to make new friends. He’s promptly kicked out for the latter reason.
     CEO of Rizz
  • While SMG3 begs Miku to go back, he tells her that the only thing Boopkins did wrong was being a goddamn loser.
REMASTERED64: Who Let the Chomp Out?
  • Now when Mario’s wearing the Goomba mask, it’s attached to a Koopa shell he’s got on his head. Suffice to say this finally explains the Koopa freaking out in his underwear.
  • The Goomba "mating call" now starts with Mario spinning around in front of a red void.
  • Throughout the build up to the Chain Chomp's release, said Chain Chomp watches the plumbers screw around. It also has a silly closed mouth expression the whole time.
  • Sadly due to copyright, the original version of "Who Let The Dogs Out?" couldn't be used in the remaster. Luckily SMG4 was able to get a similar version for it, unfortunately this version is sung by Toad.
  • Peach trying to run to turn off the stove, as in the original. This time, her Gmod model moves just like her n64 model moved waving arms and all.
  • As with the Freddy's Spaghetteria remake, a lot of the facial expressions are taken up to eleven thanks to years of animation experience.
  • This time Mario actually looks mad at the memory of Toad.
  • After Mario refuses to help after the Fourth Wall Psych, he twirls around to the right before sticking his head into the ground.
  • Peach looks incredibly unamused during Toad's Unsportsmanlike Gloating.
     SMG4 News
  • The entire episode is a riot of humor as SMGs 3 and 4 try to report the news... with disastrous results:
    • The first segment involves a bunch of firefighter cats trying to rescue Steve from a tree. If that wasn't absurd enough, then there's Hal Monitor "breaking [the scene] down to SMG4"... then literally break-dancing.
    • SMG3 trying hard to plug III's Coffee 'N Bombs store to gain more customers, even pulling an FNAF-styled jumpscare. Even the headlines poke fun at his desperate attempts.
Chyron: Chief broadcaster determined to get dying store off the ground.
    • The weather segment goes hilariously awry as well; Boopkins, the weatherman, takes a pity on an area with 73°F of temperature, so he waters it. Cue an Epic Fail as the temperature jumps to 160°F... or rather not, as SMG3 is the culprit messing with the controls for fun. Their fight messes the weather monitor up so much that an unaware and horrified Fishy opts to commit suicide by jumping from the nearest window... from the ground level.
    • Luigi and Whimpu as villains. Their "deeds" are quite funny, but Swagmaster incapacitating them by showing them pictures of sex drives it into the stratosphere.
    • SMG3's "special report". And by that, we mean the utter slander of SMG4 by showing many of his videos to various haters. The part where gets to Saiko takes the cake:
Saiko: (on the verge of a meltdown) "Poggers"... "Based"... "Cringe"... Shut the *** up!
      • Then we cut to Frankie and his father, and the former is so hopped up from SMG4's videos that SMG3 suggests killing him off. And it seems the dad actually agrees with 3.
    • Meggy's sports segment involves her interviewing a professional basketball star, so you can't blame her for being baffled when Mario turns out to be said star. Even funnier is how the plumber got his title; swallowing a basketball, turning his into that of the floating Mario head, and letting it float around dunking hoops under Meggy's shocked face.
    • Shroomy is reporting a traffic jam from above caused by Luigi and Whimpu... right in the path of Mario's head. Poor Shroomy...
Shroomy: (as the helicopter crashes to the ground) TELL MY FAMILY I LOVE THEEEEEEM!
    • SMG3 going on the move with loads of misinformation. Highlights include:
      • First, he ruins the peace between the Teletubbies and Veggietale vegetables, who were originally reported to declare peace after a war involving the last cookie from a cookie jar, by claiming that the Teletubbies went back on their promise. The two groups stare at each other, whip out weapons, and go back to try and tear each others' throats out.
      • When it's Rob's turn to report finance, he drives the scarecrow to suicide by claiming Elon Musk bought out the Internet.
      • Soon, SMG4 gets back at the big jerk... by bankrupting his coffee shop with the claim of eternal free items.
    • The coup de grace of an ending where SMG3, angry over what SMG4 did, kidnaps and drags the entire news station to space- and more precisely a black hole which swallows them all. The YouTuber's hilarious Dissonant Serenity sells it:
SMG4: (as Meggy and Fishy Boopkins don horrified faces) Oh hey that's us... Would you look at that?
     Trash Friends
  • Mario BLJs into the trash, SMG4 and SMG3 try to follow him, but they're bad at BLJing.
The Day my Arm Went Psycho
  • Meggy spritzing Mario.
Meggy: NEXT TIME, IT WON'T BE WATER!
  • Tari's arm suddenly starts going crazy, resulting in it slapping Mario in response to him suggesting that she be a "super pizza maker", then launching Meggy through the ceiling into an airplane.
    • When Tari runs off, Mario begs her not to do the "mario genocide run any%."
  • When Tari’s Meta Runner arm, now named “Clench” comes to life, it starts describing her with details such as “stupid old” and “comes from ***” Turns out he (for whatever reason) isn’t allowed to remember where Tari comes from.
  • The fact that Clench is only named as such in the subtitles after Tari officially gives him that name... and after he pesters her into giving it to him, when he could have easily told her "call me Clench" or something similar.
  • Clench wants to start touching things now that he’s alive. Unfortunately for Tari, they’re in the bathroom and yes, he does feel the inside of the toilet bowl and nearly drowns. Only in an SMG4 episode can a statement like that make sense.
  • Clench’s hyperactive, annoying behavior in general.
    • Clench accidentally spilling a hot tea kettle on Tari (and mistaking her screaming for her speaking French).
    • Demonstrating the endless Swiss army features of Tari’s metarunner arm.
    • Tari tries grabbing a tie with Clench and he spits it out like it was in his mouth.
    • Clench getting eyeballs when he looks at the ducks.
  • The job interview:
    • Tari’s interviewing for some unspecified job at some unspecified office. And who’s the interviewer? Mumbo Jumbo.
    • Clench insulting Mumbo to which the shaman replies, “please save the insults for the underlings”.
    • Clench saying “I committed many murders!” Which Mumbo liked.
    • Clench pulling off some seriously sick pen twirling ending in throwing the pen like a missile and shooting down a helicopter, which Mumbo also likes.
    • Mumbo’s final test for the interview, having Bob come in and roast Tari. Clench claps back with a simple “who asked?”, which annihilates the Garo. Apparently murder is not over the line for Mumbo unless it’s his top employee.
      • The idea that Bob can get a job in finance yet lives in a literal dump.
  • The billboard for 3’s Coffee and Bombs. Starting wage: 2 cents an hour!!!
  • Clench transforming into a minigun and singing the Transformers: Generation 1 theme in response to Tari's frustration to Mario refusing to apologize to the monkey that he angered. Tari goes with it.
My First Ever Video Unnecessarily Remastered (and more!)
  • At the very start, the original video is shown with no alterations. Tiny resolution, loud pinging sound and all. Then current day SMG4 slides in and gives the camera an unimpressed look. It's almost as if Luke himself is acknowledging the original video being a huge source of Old Shame for him. He then physically grabs the video and stretches it out to fit the video player (changing the footage from being filmed in Super Mario 64 to being filmed in Garry's Mod in the process). SMG4 then gives an approving nod before exiting stage left.
  • The opening which includes SMG4 changing Peach's letter to say "I baked your ass some cake, Get over here, fat boi!" complete with multiple Visual Puns, Lakitu getting randomly hit by a plane, a flock of Heavies flying and squawking like birds and Mario getting stuck in the warp pipe before getting spat out.
  • The ending of the remastered "The Cake is a Lie"; instead of Mario simply picking up Peach and throwing her like the original video, Mario grabs Peach's arm, then does a spin-throw on her, resulting in A Twinkle in the Sky. Mario then explodes, causing a World-Wrecking Wave instead of just exploding into a coin. Toad celebrates, only to get killed by the explosion.
No TV Make Mario No Okey Dokey
  • One of Mario's attempts at getting the TV to work again is by sacrificing Luigi to the demons. He's completely gone for the rest of the episode.
  • Bob and SMG3 volunteer Tari to go the the basement. Meggy decides to be fair and let fate decide who will go with her…with a game of Monopoly. FedEx edition. One round later, and poor Tari is dragged off screaming.
  • Bob ropes SMG3 into a “lightning in a bottle” scam… as in literally going outside to catch lightning in a bottle to sell to Mario. The kicker? As soon as SMG3 quits the scam, Bob catches and bottles lightning. SMG3 then rejoins the scam later when Mario shows up. It doesn't work, as Mario just immediately resorts to lunging after them.
  • Meggy and Clench’s feud as they struggle to open the basement door, culminating in each piloting giant mech-suits to open it… and then Tari opens it. It was a push, not a pull, as marked with a really tiny label. Meggy and Clench's reaction takes the cake.
    • The hole in the cellar is just represented by a shittily placed gray oval with a white outline.
     Mario’s Mysteries.
  • The whole episode is Blue's Clues SMG4 style. That alone should give you a good idea what you’re in for.
  • During the first song of the episode, SMG4 makes remarks about Mario being a dumbass and even going as far as to openly say death threats to Mario.
  • How does SMG4 put in his clues? Why, by using our handy-dandy..Note
  • As the song ends, Mario is offended enough to leave but ends up colliding with the border while SMG4 walks and rolls around into the kitchen.
  • While helping Luigi, who is a meat mallet now, try to make tomato sauce, SMG4 ends up using him to crush the vegetables, which has them visibly terrified as they're beaten to mush. When they get to the tomato, Mario proceeds to mash the tomato to the point that it explodes.
  • TV Time, which has Mr. Puzzles make SMG4 and Mario watch the entirety of the Bee Movie with bonus features, much to their exaggerated excitement, which lasts A WHOLE DAY when it can be completed in less than 4 hours.
  • SMG4's reaction to Fishy Boopkins singing a Driftveil City-remixed Skibidi Dop Mmm Yes Yess whilst in a toilet, which causes him to use the pipe bomb given to him by Mr. Puzzles which blows both Fishy and Mario up.
  • The entirety of the war painting, which SMG4 (who's now in live-action for some reason) and Mario react with wonder.
    • The sheer fact that they somehow mistook blood for marinara sauce, and they don't react negatively to this at all.
    • The Rocket Song, which SMG4 sings as he blows up Shroomy with the rocket launcher given by Meggy the Land Mine.
    • As SMG4 is about to add his last clue into the handy-dandyNote, the audience instead says incoming which confuses SMG4 until he realizes that a missile is headed straight towards him and Mario and skidoos out, leaving Mario behind to get blown up.
  • On the Thinking Couch, while SMG4 tries to put the clues together,Note Mario ends up eating the mushroom clue, which angers the memer before it gives him an over-dramatic resolution complete with shading.
  • And who ate Mario’s spaghetti? Why Mario of course! And SMG4 celebrates with the “Let’s Kill Mario!” song.
SMG4: You made me play Mario's Mysteries, live through war, JUST TO COME TO THE MOST OBVIOUS CONCLUSION POSSIBLE!?!?
    Mario: Yeah.
     Once Upon an SMG4
  • The promo tweets alone feature some crazy things worth mentioning. Luigi as a knight is innocent enough, and Mario's head poorly cropped onto Bambi, while weird, is nothing unusual for him... but take a look at SMG3 in a dress. And not just any dress, not even just the dress of a princess, but that of Princess Peach herself. So important is this that it got featured in all three tweets that were posted. He doesn't look particularly happy about it in the latter two tweets. Are the "actors" becoming self-aware?
    • On the topic of men in dresses, Mr. Puzzles, already a Sissy Villain, is dressed as a fairy godmother.
    • Meanwhile, SMG4 plays the wicked witch character. The very idea of a Straight Man like SMG4 playing that type of character is just laughable. You'd think SMG3 would be a better fitted role for that. What's going on with Puzzlevision's casting agency?
  • The fact that SMG4 seems to be playing the witch complete with big nose and hat. If you thought 3 playing the straightman is hilarious, then 4 playing what seems to be the villain makes it look like payback in the making.
  • As the show begins, we see SMG4's introduction as the wicked witch, who laughs and ends up breaking his neck from bending too far during his Evil Laugh.
  • SMG3's "I Want" Song at the beginning of the show, which suddenly derails into chaos about him wanting money and a sugar-daddy with a hilariously gruff singing voice, replacing Elsie Lovelock, then gets replaced by Elsie Lovelock's singing voice at the end.
    • Even better is SMG3's introduction, which ends with him trying to sing, only to end up coughing.
    Narrator: A MAN.
    • Also including the narrator's definition of SMG3's character as a "princess pure of heart", when he's basically the same greedy bastard from before, the "I Want" Song being the crowning jewel.
  • SMG4 arguing with himself from his television/Mr. Puzzles' head, which ends off with SMG4 asking the television if he is the fairest of them all, which Mr. Puzzles replies with a casual "Nuh-uh".
  • When SMG3 gets invited to King Bob's ball, he ponders what he should wear which Mario says that he can help along with the animal friends. What the animals do for creating a dress, includes stealing a Korok's face, killing Heavy for no reason, and robbing a clothing store.
  • And after they make SMG3 his dress, he isn't happy with it in the slightest which is treated as a short gag, which even Mr. Puzzles takes a moment to ask "what the hell he is wearing".
  • Mr. Puzzles giving 3 a proper dress and carriage. As said above, it’s Princess Peach’s dress and the carriage? Just a shopping cart dragged by Deer Mario.
  • Sir Luigi accidentally eats the poison apple and like SMG4 it turns him into the ugliest in the land. If you consider Mr.Beast ugly.
  • The whole fairest competition.
    • Round 1: attracting noble heroes. 3 offers to be friends and 4 says whoever saves him gets a subscription to his onlyfans. Round 1 goes to 4.
    • round 2: kissing a frog. SMG4 makes a frog turn into a prince and commit suicide. SMG3 kisses a frog…the most poisonous frog that is. Round 2 winner: SMG3
    • Round 3: try not to get kidnapped. 3 sells 4 on what an ugly bag he is. Shrek, the acting kidnapper, is instantly sold.
  • SMG3 has won! He’s the richest and fairest in the land! And he’s still stuck in the tallest tower as Mario points out. 3 thanks Mario by kicking him out the window and then the episode just ends.
     Scooby Mario Where’d You Go!
  • Just like with the last two episodes, Mario’s head was stapled onto an animal. Clearly Puzzlevision does typecasting. And this time, Mario’s playing Scooby Doo no less.
  • The episode’s take on the running gag of Velma losing her glasses… Tari as Velma getting blinded by SMG4’s flashbang.
  • Fittingly for an episode based on Scooby-Doo, the gang does the Scooby-Dooby Doors while on the run from the animatronic. Highlights include the actual Scooby-Doo gang and Steve running through, Mario and Luigi riding the animatronic like a horse, and Meggy chasing the animatronic with a chainsaw.
  • When Mario and Luigi get fed spaghetti snacks as an incentive to trap the killer, it plays like Popeye complete with Mario doing a bicep curl showing something, in this case, spaghetti.
  • The reveal that Luigi.exe is innocent and was just trying to play with the group. 4 rebuffs him and tries to take off his mask… only to rip off his head. Cut to the gang in a jail cell wondering if they are the real monsters.
  • So what had happened to Pizza Chef Bob if Luigi.exe hadn’t hurt him? Turns out he was in Jail because some OTHER meddling kids caught his “special cooking”.
Mr. Puzzles’ Incredible Game Show Spectacular!
  • In "Family Feud", SMG4's first guess for hard things to watch is "Mario having sexy time with spaghetti". You know Mario's very weird when even Mr. Puzzles flashes a surprised face to this statement.
    • And Mr. Puzzles reacts using images of Steve Harvey in true Family Feud fashion
    • SMG4 and SMG3’s round devolves into a mud-slinging feud. They end up as the booby prize for the next round.
    • Mario's idea of a pick up line is his usual faux-Italian gibberish. When it's Luigi's turn, he and Mario end up arguing in their iconic gibberish and breaking the game show. Mr. Puzzles' reactions take the cake:
Mr. Puzzles: WHERE ARE YOUR SUBTITLES!?
  • In "Wheel of Fortune", Bob ends up concussed after mocking Meggy one too many times for losing her turns, and he can only speak Chinese. Naturally, when he gets the million dollar space, he is unable to guess, saying “Haha, look at your translation of this, I bet you feel like a fool now” in Chinese.
    • When Meggy gets a second "lose a turn" in a row, she spins the wheel so hard that it breaks off and lands on Bob, catching on fire afterwards.
    • Oh, and why was the wheel continously screwing over Meggy? It turns out Mario is sleeping under the wheel. He surprisingly guesses the right phrase, "Be advised, I'm going beddy byes"...while winning zero dollars.
      • Followed by Mr. Puzzles incinerating all the prizes… including SMGs 3 & 4.
  • For "The Price is Right", an increasingly desperate Mr. Puzzles, asking Boopkins to guess the price of a Ferrari, just has the correct answer hastily scribbled out and replaced with Boopkins’ much lower answer… and then Mario shows up in the Ferrari and begins an impromptu round of Mario Kart. Right into the audience.
  • The Failure Montage of Mario participating in the rest of the games, punctuated with Mr. Puzzles coming closer and closer to losing it.
    • A "Deal or no Deal" game with all the girls being Mr. Puzzles. Jub-Jub gets a measly 50 cents with Mario as the banker and actively celebrates.
    • A "Wipeout" type game which has Meggy jump onto red balls to get over a pit of fire, but Mario eats the last one at the last second, causing the former to fall in the fire pit and burn.
    • A quiz show with the 5th question being 9 + 10 = ?, but Mario keeps pressing his buzzer and racking over -40,000 points.
    • Mario competing with SMG3 in basketball and when the former tries to get a slam-dunk, he somehow misses.
    • Tari balancing chairs on her head, but Mario decides it's time to sit on the topmost one, causing her to fall over.
    • Another quiz show, but Mario presses the button so much it explodes.
    • Luigi wins Monopoly, but Mario flips the table after.
    • Back to "Wheel of Fortune", where Mario correctly guesses "pingas", strips down to his underwear, and then starts dancing with money raining down.
    • One shot in the montage even has Mr. Puzzles pointing a gun at the viewer.
  • Mr. Puzzles eventually becomes so fed up with Mario that he sticks him in a cage outside the screen. Mario not only ends up vibing while Puzzles goes crazy and starts dropping props on the remaining contestants, but on top of that, he ends up helping Mario escape... by accident.
    • Among the things dropped onto the stage was the red Ferrari that Boopkins won, causing it to devalue to zero dollars and causing Boopkins' check to evaporate.
    • Before a Monty Mole gets crushed by the screen from "Wheel of Fortune", he explains, "Man, I'm dead". The screen displays exactly what he said.
  • The otherwise tense outro and updated Puzzlevision website is somewhat alleviated by the image of Mario's fist breaking through the Puzzlevision logo being titled "thatwasrude.png".
