Like the YouTube Arc before it, the Lawsuit Arc places a heavy emphasis on satire, a natural formula for comedy.

SMG4 Gets Sued
- Mario is just minding his business eating Pikmin when SMG4 tosses him through the castle wall and shoves him into a steamer trunk labelled "Box O' Memes". Later, upon seeing Meggy rescued Mario, SMG4 throws him through a window then hides in the same trunk.
- When Lawyer Kong shows Mario his IP ownership contract, Mario guesses it's toilet paper.
- The entire filming segment.
- The title of the game is "New Super Mario Land World Universe 69 U Deluxe".
- When Bowser kidnaps Peach again, Mario's first thought is to bring out a gun. Miyomoto's reaction makes it clear this is NOT the first take in which Mario whipped out a piece.
- Miyamoto yells at Mario to put down the gun. Guess what Mario does.
- The difference between canon Mario and SMG4 Mario becomes apparent very quickly into the making of the new game when Mario brandishes a gun. When Miyamoto objects, Mario defends the choice, claiming to be safe with them… only to shoot Bowser when Bowser calls bullshit on that.
- When did Meggy learn to fly like Superman?
- The fact that Meggy doesn't know why SMG4 is freaking out after she takes Mario back from Nintendo. Ironic because she started life as an Inkling, a Nintendo character herself.
- The soldiers begin attacking with real guns. Meggy points out that they aren't using Nintendo appropriate weapons. They fire anyway.
- Super Luigi Gardening: IGN gives it 9.1 out of 10.
Mario Can't Play With You Anymore...
- Mario's definition of "normal"-acting is the exact opposite of Nintendo's. His response to seeing Bowser kidnapping Peach is to tell him to quit acting silly and inviting him to play video games.
- He confirms Luigi is still "normal" by showing him a copy of Attitude (a British lifestyle magazine targeted towards gay men). However, Nintendo's censoring influence inside the firewall turns it into a Gideon Bible, causing Luigi's nose to go flaccid.
- SMG4 doesn't know how he ended up outside, only remembering that he was watching memes on the toilet yesterday. He doesn't appreciate Meggy's stare.
- While walking through the Wasteland, SMG4 and Meggy pass a number of funny background events, like Wheeler using his wheelchair to crush Whimpu, and Karen holding a sign reading "Looking for my house… and a will to live".
- Meggy tries to do a jump kick through the firewall. Instead, after a nice Beat showing her leg shattering into pieces, she does a Yoshi scream and lights up on fire.
- The various absurd attempts by the main characters to break through the firewall…
- SMG4 throwing SMG3 at it
- Mario tries to use a portable rocket launcher… but it gets censored by Nintendo and turns into a flower (not even a fireflower).
- Meggy driving her Squidmobile into the wall and crashing… with another scream and fire moment.
- SMG4 having the (not bad) idea to go Minecraft and tunnel under the wall… but accidentally breaching the roof of a lava cavern and meeting a fiery doom
- Mario using Luigi – who by this point had reverted to his canon personality – as a bat
- Mario attempts many things to open the jail, including throwing a ninja at the door twice.
- Mario "suggests" a new game called "New Super Mario Everyone Is Here So Please Let Them Out Miyamoto Yahoo!" so he can free Phoenix Wright. It works.
- SMG4 is thinking to call this Story Arc "SMG4: The Depression Arc". Meggy points out that every one of his arcs is depressing. SMG4 responds with his version of a Touché.
- Meggy fangirling over THE Phoenix Wright.
- Meggy's reaction to becoming an Inkling again is to go off-the-walls crazy with her abilities, while the background music rapidly keeps repeating "You're a kid, you're a squid, you're a kid, you're a squid".
If Mario Was In... Splatoon 3
- The temporary IP change contract turns SMG4 into Stanley from Donkey Kong 3. Which might be ironic when he's held hostage on top of a building by a big animal.
- How does SMG4 try to get Mario to remember him? By repeatedly smacking him in the face and demanding he remember.
- Mario decides to copy SMG4's bomb throw… after SMG4 blew himself up with it.
- One of the attempts has SMG4 sitting on a spinning radar while wearing a moustache.
- During a victory dance, Mario dabs. The sheer cringe knocks out SMG4 (complete with the GTA "Wasted" screen). Even better if you know that dabbing is an actual victory animation in Splatoon 3.
- The final "meme" shown that serves as the tipping point for breaking Mario's brain? Chris Pratt "acting" as Mario.
- Proof that Stupid Mario is back: NIIIIIIINTENDOOOOOO memes.
- SMG4 tries to hide from the Inkling Police by jumping into a trash can. It doesn't work; they just grab the can with him inside.
- Now back to his "normal" self, Mario is able to produce Splatoon guns from his mouth and his crotch.
- Turns out ink is not an effective weapon at stopping an RV.
- Luigi's gardening game is now a crossover.
- When Luigi wonders who Meggy and SMG4 are, Mario says they're his mama and papa. He instantly buys it.
Breaking Luigi
- Memes are distributed in Pingas form (as Robotnik heads) and are treated as illegal drugs.
- Meggy is glad Luigi is back to normal* and gives him a soft hug. Mario is way too glad and hugs them both so tight we hear bones crack.
- Mario and Luigi's first attempts at cooking memes weren't very successful. Some failed attempts involve a Pingas penguin, a creepy face reaching out for Mario, and a Heavy head that only says "Pootis".
- Once Bob and Boopkins are reverted back by consuming Pingas heads, the episode immediately cuts to them behind the counter of a fast-food restaurant handing out memes with Bob saying "Cancer. Come get your cancer."
- Nintendo's armored vans are labeled "Thot Patrol Elite" and "Be Gone".
- A meme'd ninja dies and his spirit ascends to heaven… only to get sucked into a jet engine.
- The ninjas swat a meme'd Koopa with a giant flyswatter and shove him into a file folder. And they're not above pulling out said Koopa and painting his shell blue to stop the Mario Bros.
- Before this, as the Koopa goes on a meme-crazed frenzy, he spins around on Luigi like a Beyblade and lets it rip… off the lower half of Luigi's overalls.
- Waluigi's Taco Stand is canon… or Nintendo forgot about Waluigi so much that he ended up on the wrong side of the firewall.
- Mario is not happy when he shoots E. Gadd… because he skipped lunch.
- Luigi, having gone full Breaking Bad after accidentally killing that ninja and becoming much more intelligent and ruthless as a result, uses a loophole to point out that Lawyer Kong can't hurt him or Mario because, as company mascots, they ARE Nintendo. How does Lawyer Kong stop Luigi? A Your Mom joke!
NINTENDO HAS CLAIMED THIS VIDEO
- After a moment of depression, Mario and Luigi decide to make music with a harmonica and a cup.
- When Lawyer Kong pulls out the DMCA bound to a rock, Mario's afraid they'll be bashed with a rock. Lawyer Kong clarifies that this is a "Super DMCA", Mario panics from the boring legal crap.
- SMG4 promises Meggy that he'll protect them. When a swarm of bats come in, he quickly uses Meggy as a bat, not unlike what Mario does to her semi-regularly and how Mario used Luigi against the firewall three episodes earlier. Meggy is not amused (and is about to barf).
- Meggy wants to take a picture with a bunch of Serial Killers. Granted, they did look like statues at the time…
- While exploring Wikipedia, SMG4 finds an article listed as Anime Pictures with a Lenny Face. Once he opens it, a Ned Flanders with a Nightmare Face pops out, eventually chasing after him with a gun attached to a crucifix.
- And they run into Markiplier's screen, causing a game over for him.
- Meggy finds… a copy of Sonichu in the law section.
- Once again, Miyamoto is distracted by the idea of new games (with the SMG4 characters staring in them). This time, it's Mario that blanks out, with Luigi having to give the suggestion.
- Miyamoto compares Old Man's game to Nintendogs, mentioning that he'll have to return in ten years to remember this game and feed him. The Old Man goes ahead and dies.
- Depresso being a proper villain as he becomes a Dark Soul boss to turn Saiko into a clown girl… only for Saiko to bop him with a hammer without ever leaving her seat. No Clussy?
- Whimpu's dating simulator, co-starring Swag as a waifu. Miyamoto's reaction is considering anime a mistake.
- After finding and reading the case law on parody, Meggy needs paper to draft a contractnote …and SMG4 pulls out a roll of toilet paper. He claims it's in case he needs to use the bathroom during these wacky adventures.
- The final "game" is a Phoenix Wright DLC about whether 2D girls count as bitches. Phoenix argues they do.
Goodbye, SMG4
- NEW SUPER MARIO IS VERY VERY SAD
- Mario's too depressed to jump, so instead he sics a Headcrab on a Goomba and sends a Koopa to the Backrooms.
- Starting off the rest of Mario's depression, Bowser shows up demanding the princess, and Mario throws her at him.
- Mario tries to escape with the Wing Cap, but Miyamoto snipes him. What makes this doubly funny is that he earlier chewed Mario out for "Yahoo with Gun!"
- Mario flies through the queen bee.
- Mario rams a Monty Mole with a kart so many times over, the Monty Mole gets stuck to it.
- Mario finds Meggy's Parody Contract under his hat… which he nearly uses as the toilet paper it's written on, until Phoenix Wright asks for some. Phoenix immediately recognizes the contract and its importance, and tells Mario. However…Mario: Wait, did you end up using toilet paper?
(Oh, Crap! expression on Wright)
Wright: BUZZ LOOK AN ALIEN!
Mario: Hmm? (looks at toilet)
(Wright runs away like Zoidberg) - Lawyer Kong enjoys giving C&D's to fan projects. In this case, Frankie gets hit for remaking Super Mario 64 in Roblox. Or more accurately, Kong reaches into his tablet to squeeze Frankie's Head.
- Mario snatches a box from Snake. We then see a box scoot past Lawyer Kong and said box saying he's just a box in Mario's voice. Which turns out to be less funny and more awesome as Kong finds out there's a Bob-omb and a walkie-talkie under that box.
- Wii Fit Trainer instructing a Jigglypuff and a Boo to stretch their legs. She later stretches a ninja's legs too much.
- Miyamoto has Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Spyro the Dragon, Bandana Waddle Dee, and Geno lined up as potential new Smash characters. He tosses the invite to a nearby plant instead. When Mario drops in and gets rid of the ninjas, he spots Miyamoto and quickly exits through the wall.
- The ninjas get sent to Smash and see a Pichu, thinking it's an easy target. Then Pichu summons the Moon.The Moon: I like ya cut G. (descends)

- At one point in the item brawl, a ninja pulls out the Master Sword. Mario pulls out… a DS stylus (with helpful text and arrow to point it out). And yet Mario manages to win.
- Mario puts on Majora's Mask, terrifying the ninjas and Lawyer Kong as Majora's Incarnation. Then Mario dances through them. This is exactly what the mask did on its own in "Mario's Mask of Madness" two years earlier.
- Mario flies through the queen bee a second time.
- As if it wasn't already obvious where Lawyer Kong's voice comes from, he taunts Mario with this…
- After failing to shoot down Mario, the Duck Hunt Dog appears and laughs at Lawyer Kong, who responds by throwing the dog out of the Clown Car.
- Mario runs up to hug SMG4 only for Kirby to stop them. He stops even as he falls over.
