Due to this page's nature as being a character sheet for both Sonic Reclassified and the Sonic.EXE All-Stars page, and due to the Reclassified characters being in Walking Spoiler territory here, all spoilers presented here are unmarked. You Have Been Warned!
Tropes already covered for these characters can be found at the below links:For any characters who aren't original to this set of games, the tropes listed for them will be specific to these incarnations of the characters.
Characters introduced in Sonic Reclassified and the Delta Saga
Heroes (primary) / Main Cast
- Badass in Distress: During Sonic.exe Delta Genesis, Sonic is captured by Genesis and needs rescuing. He could also count as such throughout the main story of Sonic Reclassified: Genesis' Awakening.
- Related in the Adaptation: While not normally related to a single EXE-based villain, Sonic seems to be a descendant of Genesis, himself the Big Bad of the entire Reclassified game series.
- Cowardly Lion: Considering Reclassified is before Tails got acquainted with Sonic proper, this is understandable, considering he's being attacked by what is currently a complete stranger.
- Ascended Extra: While simply one of MegaDrivX's targets in Reclassified, Shadow takes the leading role during Sonic.exe Delta Genesis.
Heroes (primary) / The Carters
- Gender-Equal Ensemble: Amongst the family involved, there are 4 males (Jake, Asher, Michael and Peter) and 4 females (Emily, Mia, Charlotte and one currently unseen female) making up the main cast, with the mentioned Robert not being as prominent as the rest.
- Super Swimming Skills: Asher is hinted to have these from a mention of him attending a swimming class.
- Everyone Has Standards: He doesn't tolerate any works that downplay the all-too-real issue of pedophilia, like what Sally.exe Continued Nightmare: Eye of Three became infamous for with Sark and Sark Cream.
- Nothing Is Scarier: While quick to pick up on the supernatural happenings in the code of Reclassified, he's unable to actually identify what the cause of it is.
- Weakness Turns Her On: Downplayed considering she's a youth, but she admires Nicky the Hedgehog from the original Sonic Japanese Manga for his sweet and gentle nature.
- Mama Bear: Charlotte is very protective of her kids, quickly understanding when enough was enough concerning her former relationship with Peter.
- Ship Tease: In the last post from Michael, he mentions how Charlotte caught on to a slight crush he had on Elizabeth, despite Michael and her being Happily Married, and playfully teased him about it, much to his embarrassment.
- Abusive Parents: Peter seems to have delivered this to his children before "M.C." and Charlotte stepped in, seeming to have been drunk at the time. He's also noted to have changed drastically since Mia joined the family.
Heroes (secondary)
Created by Rain Lancelot; voiced by MineSkyVA
As his former self, Chrono was an inhabitant of Gaea and a witness to the Genesis War, having been one of those slain by Genesis. Thankfully, he found new life via a Core that the Emerald Guardians and the Sol Family of the past encased him in, eventually located by Metal Sonic and given new life.
Tropes for his Delta Saga self
- Promoted to Playable: Though namely due to possessing Shadow in the first game.
Tropes for his original self
- Catchphrase: Quite alike Raijin, Chrono has a habit of saying "...ya know?" at the end of most of his sentences.
- Transferable Memory / Brain Uploading: After his demise, Chrono's memories and conscience were uploaded into a "Core", and this data was eventually found and made host of by Metal Sonic, who would later become the universe's equivalent of Shard.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Having been the creator of MegaDrivX, under the alias "Project Mars", he originally had plans to use him to protect both worlds. However, the entity had other plans...
Villains (regular)
- Ascended Extra: After being little more than The Cameo in his game of origin and playing no real role to the story (even being overshadowed by his counterparts who have played big roles in Sonic games), Mk. III is one of the major playable characters that are a part of Sonic.exe Delta Genesis. His motives for doing this, however, are unknown as of present.
Villains (demonic)
- Adaptational Wimp: While still on par with some of the skills the original Sonic.EXE is capable of, MegaDrivX is still substantially weaker than him, unable to teleport or directly fly without the use of an external power source. Plus, he's still vulnerable to getting kicked around, as demonstrated in Knuckles's route.
- Impostor Forgot One Detail: While resembling Sonic almost near-perfectly, the shoes are a key giveaway as to him not being as he seems in a disguise, both being darkened and lacking buckles.
- Voluntary Shapeshifting: MegaDrivX can easily switch into forms resembling one of the three sprite sets from the classic Sonic trilogy.
Not to be confused with the similarly-named and unrelated "GenesiS", or with the character from Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. And especially not to be confused for the unrelated EXE, Genesγs.
- Big Bad: Genesis serves as this for Delta Genesis.
Original name not to be confused with Exeller, the antagonist of Sonic.Exe: Spirits of Hell.
Voiced by jordangaming101 / NotSoDevy
- Doomed by Canon: Hellsin ends out dying one way or another following Sally.EXE: Discovery.
- I Know What You Fear: Hellsin taunts Cream as such during an attempt to corner her in Casino Night Zone.
- Promoted to Playable: At different intervals throughout Sally.EXE: Discovery - Part 2, Hellsin gets his own playable sub-sections, including a whole Boss Battle he needs to overcome solo.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Hellsin had cast a good amount of his powers into an alternate version of the Phantom Ruby (dubbed the "Ruby of Enchantment") in preparation for his legacy to continue. It's this Ruby that kickstarts the events of the Phantom Saga."It’s done. A large portion of my life force is given to this ruby. Hopefully it’ll end up somewhere where my reign can continue, and corrupt the poor soul who comes across it."
- Sore Loser: After Sally succeeds in overpowering the soulless Tails and Knuckles and restoring them to their normal states, Hellsin doesn't take it well, to the point that he boots the three girls out of Gaea and into other worlds.
- Villain of Another Story: Hellsin takes a back-seat for the antagonist role during Part 2 of Discovery, but is still working behind the scenes regardless.
Characters introduced in Sonic.EXE All-Stars and its sequel
The Angel Alliance
The Angel Alliance are a group of heroes between dimensions that have faced evil in some form in the past and have an equal goal of preventing cases of History Repeats in various dimensions.Original Timeline Cast
The cast under this category come from the original series of events in Sonic.EXE All-Stars and all have the equal goal of preventing supernatural evils from leaving deadly marks.Voiced by jordangaming101 (EXE self)
SonicClone is the lead antagonist of the original Sonic.EXE All-Stars game and its upcoming 6.6.6 update. He's pretty much your average Sonic.EXE at first glance, but as time goes on, it becomes increasingly evident that there's more to the supposed killer than there is at first sight. His pre-redemption self also makes an appearance as the third EXE encountered in Robotnik's Sin Level in Sonic Reclassified.- Adaptational Sympathy: If the fact that SonicClone is practically Sonic but Brainwashed and Crazy is anything to go by, it's hard not to feel sorry for his state of affairs.
- Composite Character: In a surprising twist, it's shown that Sonic and Sonic.EXE/SonicClone aren't separate entities in Sonic.EXE All-Stars, but rather the exact same entity, the SonicClone appearance created from his original madness.
- Dark and Troubled Past: While downplayed, something horrible did happen to trigger Sonic's insanity, which will be explored in Refined Edition.
- Decomposite Character: His appearances in the upcoming Sonic.EXE All-Stars Remake and Sonic.EXE All-Stars Ultimate Edition are not canon to his storyline presented in the Refined Edition game. Each version of the character seen are separate entities, despite sharing the same name.
- Heel–Face Turn: After losing all his dark powers to Toxinfect, Sonic undergoes this, resolving to lay the monster to rest and hopefully get his lost friends back.
- Heroic BSoD: While not shown in the original game, SonicClone undergoes two of these; first being after he's killed Amy, which shakes him to his core pretty horribly, and second after Toxinfect has him at his mercy before his brief demise.
- Too Broken to Break: After all the shit Toxinfect forced him through in his dimension, Sonic doesn't give a care about what the monster would throw at him next, which culminates in him sticking it right to Toxinfect personally with his Errorverse counterpart.
- It's Personal: Discovering the part she was tricked into playing in Toxinfect's scheme motivates her to aid in laying the monster down personally.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: She genuinely wasn't aware of it at the time, but the gift she gave to Sonic early on was a concealed trick to turn the blue blur Brainwashed and Crazy. Sonic doesn't hold it against her, of course.
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: In the original The Lost Game, Nickbear was instead a character fusion between a bear and a hedgehog, though this has since evolved to the design he uses today.
- Gadgeteer Genius: Akin to Tails, Nickbear is known for being an avid inventor, demonstrated with him taking a couple of Robotnik's Badniks and Drill Car and modifying them, not only to fit his style, but to fix the Fatal Flaws that left them vulnerable to destruction in the past.
- The Leader: Within the Angel Alliance, Nickbear is the direct leader of this group in a bid to defend universes from evils akin to what SonicClone went through.
- Token Adult: Of the playable characters (save for Shadow, whose age is up to question), Nickbear is the only one who's a full-fledged adult in the Angel Alliance (being over 18), shown by his more fancy outfit compared to the rest.
Rovina Warriors
A trio of heroes originating from varying dimensions and having overcome the wrath of the scourge known as Respiro in the past, each have been standing together following the disappearance of their homes.Spoilers for the events these three characters undergo in Oldum77's games are unmarked, so proceed with caution.
Canon Storyline
Aladdin
The game begins during the final battle of the original Aladdin.Toy Story
These games kick off during the events of the original Toy Story.Sonic the Hedgehog
These games start sometime after the events of Sonic Forces.Finale
Any tropes already discussing the character can be found here.
Ex-street rat, hero of Agrabah and lover to Princess Jasmine, Aladdin is the first target of Respiro's schemes, though proves that he is capable of pushing through such trials and giving it all he has.- Affectionate Nickname: Aladdin gets one from Blaze, being dubbed "Dusty" by her.
- Big "SHUT UP!": Aladdin shouts one when Respiro tries to inflict a one-track-minded drive to kill into the street rat.
- Demonic Possession: In AWHOLENEWWORLD.EXE, Aladdin almost falls under this at Respiro's hands, but through a Battle At The Center Of The Mind, he evades this, forcing the scourge to rethink his strategies.
- Fate Worse than Death: Aladdin goes through this, as not only did he get defeated by Jafar, but Respiro and the Peddler entered his mind just so the malicious ghost could take control of him. Thankfully, the Street Rat fought against Respiro and forced him to leave his body.
Voiced by: Tom Hanks (movies), jordangaming101 (ToyStory3.EXE)
Any tropes already discussing the character can be found here.
Sheriff of the bedroom, best friend to Buzz Lightyear and a figure of many challenges, Woody is one of three heroes banded to stop Respiro, as well as being one of the two to suffer Demonic Possession.
- Be Careful What You Wish For: In the original Toy Story, Woody had grown jealous of Buzz becoming Andy’s favourite toy, so much so that he attempted to knock him out of the window using RC Car - which failed this time. Luckily, Andy decided to play with him and Buzz, but the boy knocked his head off by accident, allowing Respiro to possess the cowboy.
- 11th-Hour Superpower: After being freed from Respiro's control, Woody gains this with aid from Rovina, who guides him through his big confrontation with the scourge.
- Affectionate Nickname: Woody receives this from Blaze in the form of "Twigs".
- Demonic Possession: Compared to Aladdin before him, Woody was possessed by Respiro for the scourge to satisfy his bloodlust. It didn't help that Woody was bitter about Buzz around that point, which Respiro used as a benefactor.
- Heroic BSoD: While he succeeded in stopping Respiro the first time around, the word that his friends were slaughtered at his hands while possessed hit the sheriff hard for days.
- It's Personal: Simply put, Woody isn't too happy to hear that The Peddler was disguised as Rocky the whole time and that the wrestler was already Killed Off for Real.
- Affectionate Nickname: Blaze gives two of these to her companions; "Twigs" for Woody and "Dusty" for Aladdin.
- Ascended Extra: Originally only appearing in the secret level of Sally.EXE: The Creepypasta Remake, Blaze got a crucial role to play in Oldum77.EXE: The Finale.
- Rage Breaking Point: While she was already pretty infuriated at Respiro for killing and enslaving Cream, she outright loses it once she is Killed Off for Real. Worse, Respiro intended on that to leave Rovina vulnerable to being part of his ritual.
Team Lilac (Errorverse Version)
Three girls bonded through varying circumstances and all with the key goal of keeping their homeworld, Avalice, safe from evil that comes their way, Team Lilac have always stood together through thick and thin, despite some things pushing them to their limits. The team have had guest appearances in a couple of Sonic.EXE projects, one being the Sonic.EXE Phantom Saga.
Any information already covered about them in canon can be found here. Like with the "Rovina Warriors" category, all spoilers for both Freedom Planet and its official sequel (as well as certain fanworks revolving around this variation of the group) are unmarked.
- Freedom Planet: Resurgence
- Freedom Planet: Shang Mu Architect (in the works; link directs to the developer's Twitter account)
- Freedom Fighters (Sonic x Freedom Planet)
- Sonic.EXE: Phantom Saga
- Later stages of the original Sonic.EXE All-Stars timeline
- Age Lift: In this headcanon, even come Freedom Planet 2, Team Lilac remain at their younger ages seen in the first game, which applies to the majority of characters here. This is not only to allow Acceptable Breaks from Canon, but also in part due to something external happening that prevented aging from happening beyond current ages in the first place. In Milla's case, she is at the age of 12-13, close to Carol being 14 and Lilac being 15.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Lilac does not like Spade to the point of calling him out for crushing her childhood and refusing to forgive him. While this does ring true here early on, they do manage to patch things up and decide that, while their original romance can't come back, they are Better as Friends.
- Childhood Friend: Alongside Carol, at one point after running away from the Scarves the first time, Lilac made this bond with Carrie Mei (Beta Carol). They bonded well before Lilac returned to the Scarves, and come Shang Mu Architect, they happily reunited, Lilac getting the chance to introduce Carrie to her new friends.
- Friendly Rival: Lilac has two of these;
- In the confines of her dimension, Jett Capricia the Ram Goat (one of the "legally-distinct" Team Lilac members introduced in Shang Mu Architect) lives up to this role, the two sometimes literally butting heads, but still on good terms overall.
- Outside of her dimension, of course, Errorverse Sonic lives up to this role, since the two heroes enjoy racing each other on occasion to see who's the fastest between them. Plus, they've been known to work together in the face of a universe-threatening crisis.
- Cannot Spit It Out: Errorverse Carol has a crush on Torque, though has considerable problems making it known, considering the trouble Torque might get into with the Coalition of Planets if he was caught in a romantic relationship. In addition, she only gave him an Eskimo kiss because Lilac dared her to in exchange for some free meals. They do get to spend more time together once Torque properly signs out of his ex-Ranger role, mainly since it ended out only bringing the space warrior pain that he was only able to soothe at Avalice.
Design used is from Shang Mu Architect, a Freedom Planet fan game
- —Milla, Freedom Planet 2
- Commonality Connection:
- Milla finds this with Tails' Errorverse counterpart, mainly due to their knack for studying science in alternating forms; Tails studies and works with technology, while Milla experiments with chemistry.
- In addition, she has one with Errorverse original character, April, who is also a Token Heroic Orc from the land she came from, was originally shy around others prior to meeting people like Nitro, and Took a Level in Badass when she overpowered a separate villain.
- Cool Big Sis: In this headcanon, she's looked up to as such by Marshmallow (her "legally-distinct" counterpart introduced in Shang Mu Architect).
- Puppy-Dog Eyes: This being Milla, her doing this only serves to boost her cuteness. Of course, pair hers with that of Marshmallow, and let's just say that the likes of Mayor Zao can't last 10 seconds looking at them before fainting from a cuteness overload.
Sonic the Hedgehog (Errorverse Version)
Hailing from a completely different version of the multiverse, characters under this category have played a part in laying key evils to rest and defending their worlds from destruction.- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: In canon, Sonic's family usually varies between media. In the Errorverse, however, these headcanons are formed together, with Jules and Bernadette being his parents, Charles/Chuck being his uncle, Manic and Sonia being his siblings, and Queen Aleena being an aunt to him.
- Adaptational Personality Change: While remaining as the care-free and enthusiastic hero he's always been, Sonic is able to understand when to slow down to share in precious moments with his companions.
- Commonality Connection: Sonic and SMG4 end up bordering on this, due to both having suffered harsh criticism of their works and experiencing their worst mental states because of it. The former even takes his past experience as a chance to give SMG4 advice on how to overcome the mental stress it’s putting on him as a whole."Yeah... I know how you feel about it big time, G4. Honestly, it's just that thing in life. You just can't please everybody, no matter how hard you try. Then again, there is still good stuff within your history, as wild as the ride may have been. [...] That's good. Even if your fanbase can't be pleased, just know your friends will still be there to support you to the very end. I was a bit curious about that stuff you did with me in it, but I don't mind if it doesn't return, really. Just as long as you keep doing what you enjoy, that's the important thing!"
- Cool Big Bro: Sonic is looked up to in this manner, not only by Tails and Cream, but to Amy as well.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Sonic spits one out to Toxinfect, triggering the latter's Rage Breaking Point."Okay, guess what, Toxinfect? You’re NOT the villain you claim you are! All you’ve truly done is unite many to take a stand against you and your tyranny. Besides, it’s too clear that you don’t truly have the guts to come and confront me yourself, instead using TWO vulnerable souls to do your deeds for you. In reality, you’re nothing but a miserable, lonely coward! [...] Oh, I don’t need that form (Dark Sonic) to take you down, nor do I need a Super OR Hyper form! [...] Heh, you sure don’t get it, do you, Toxinfect? Your little toxicity-feeding trick won’t work anymore. I moved past those dark thoughts long ago, and became renewed as a result! The reality is that your ego AND your temper are your greatest weaknesses. You act like you’re so high and mighty when you constantly have a cult doing all the hard work for you, and when you actually have the guts to take us on, your contingency plans can only get you so far. I hate to sound cocky, but the truth is, if you were to face me yourself, one on one, with me blindfolded and hands tied behind my back, you would LOSE. [...] Eh, finally decided to give me a real challenge, huh? Okay... Bring it on!"
- Trauma Conga Line: Because of Toxinfect, Sonic had to go through this consistently, starting with being sealed in a purgatory, breaking out and attempting to defend his friends and companions from harm, only to get thrusted away again and Forced to Watch as they perished in horrible ways.
- 11th-Hour Superpower: Nitro gained this in the form of the "Sacred Ring" artefact in order to aid in defeating Toxinfect.
- An Aesop: Nitro delivers one to Toxinfect in their last conflict against each other. Toxinfect, of course, spited Nitro's For Happiness motivation, proclaiming that not everything has to be happy. Fair point. Doesn't mean everything has to be his way, either.Toxinfect: You sicken me with your desire for everlasting peace. Not everything has to be happy!
Nitro: ...Maybe not. But at the same time, not everything has to be miserable, cruel or apocalyptic as you want it to be, creature! - Author Avatar: Though not a character directly representing his creator in terms of personality or appearance, Nitro is still seen as a flagship representation of Pico himself, mainly used front and centre in social media alongside to represent credit to any projects Pico has contributed to.
- Big Brother Instinct: For any innocent children struggling to fend for themselves, Nitro is quick to make a promise to keep them safe from any harm, like he does for his siblings and crushes.
- Brought Down to Normal: At the climax of his trouble with Toxinfect, Nitro and the others are thrown into London, therefore reverting Nitro back to a human and locking out his powers. It leads to a brutal No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on his side from the murderer, who's lost it with Nitro's persistence. Thankfully, he's back to full strength once he and April get the Sacred Ring back.
- Childhood Friends: Aside from Amelia mentioned below, Nitro was also in this bond with Nikki Maxwell and her companions. He's also on good terms with Lincoln Loud, Clyde McBride, Ronnie Anne Santiago and Sid Chang, and supports Lincoln and Ronnie's romantic bonds with one another. In the case of Lincoln and Clyde, it helps that his normal home is in Royal Woods as well.
- Childhood Friend Romance: Nitro and another fan-made character, Amelia Walten, share this between them, with the former helping her to come out of her initial shy shell, and the latter showing affection for him in return. Their eventual reunion is even sweeter due to this.
- Cool Big Bro: Chris is this to his siblings Evo, Rosie and Christina.
- Dark and Troubled Past: While he was able to live a peaceful life to begin with, it got torn away from him due to Toxinfect attacking his family and separating him from them, leaving him to have to live in Mobius for safety. And even then, Toxinfect still didn't stop making the kid's life hell until the villain's ultimate demise.
- Demoted to Extra: In an alternate variation of the Massive Multiplayer Crossover stories he originates from, he doesn't have anywhere near as big a role as he does in the Errorverse, though his kind heart and The Determinator status carry over without a hitch.
- The Dog Bites Back: After being tormented for a long while by Toxinfect's continuous assaults on him, he finally gets the chance to teach the sadistic freak what for.
- Go Mad from the Revelation: Downplayed in that Nitro doesn't go insane because of it, but knowledge of the fourth wall is still enough to have him outwardly spite any and all players that take pleasure in taking any possible route in a story just to see what will happen, especially if it's routes that go really far off the deep end.
- Good Samaritan: Nitro, in his backstory and even in the major stories, has been known to help sort out many problems, even without powers in the equation. As examples;
- Through a connection with Belle (or QT), his babysitter and the mother of the Royal Woods middle school’s Cristina, he was able to help the girl and Lincoln Loud patch things up after a Noodle Incident that left them apart in separate classes, and encouraged them to become friends again.
- He commonly contributed to keeping the streets of Royal Woods and Great Lakes City free of garbage left lying around.
- Hero of Another Story: While his role in the saga isn't shown in any of the All-Stars games, it's still his acts that take down Toxinfect in-between the events of Refined Edition and Restarted.
- It's Personal: After April (another of Pico's OCs) is seemingly killed due to Toxinfect brainwashing her into attacking Nitro, the teen loses it and swears to well and truly stick it to the monster. Thankfully, like Milla before her, April survives to tell the tale.
- Like Father, Like Son / Lineage Comes from the Father: Nitro/Chris had inherited his heroism and goal to do the right thing for himself and those around him from his father, who was the original protector of the Sacred Ring.
- Love Triangle: Nitro/Chris is in a healthy one with the Errorverse's version of Amy Rose and Amelia.
- Trademark Favorite Food: Marshmallows and cookies satisfy Nitro's sweet tooth.
- Trauma Button: Don't bring up any horrifying experiences Nitro has had while he's in a conversation with you. Seriously, don't do it. He's been through so much that it caused him crippling depression for a while, and it's to the point that you can't make him watch any horror contentnote .
- Trauma Conga Line: When you've been attacked in early youth, forced to watch as your new companions get slayed and are even cruelly manipulated into torture at the hands of the Big Bad, it could be enough to drive anyone mad. And it doesn't help that Nitro was already under a lot of pain as it was.

- Tuesday Birthday Night (recursive mod of VS Carol)
- Adaptation Name Change: While carrying his usual nickname of Boyfriend, he and Girlfriend have the names Benjamin Miku and Grace Dearest respectively in this headcanon to give them more identity.
- Adaptational Nice Guy / Adaptational Personality Change: Benjamin foregoes his usual Fearless Fool antics from the base game in favor of being more open to helping others in need if he has to. For example, the Corruption bought him the opportunity to fully patch things up with the Dearests and truly earn their trust as they fought off the virus together. In addition, his initial interests were more with composing music than rap battles, like his representation in Two Idiots.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul: Boyfriend’s family line in canon is only barely known, with Ritz the Rat confirmed as an adopted brother to him. Here, his overall family is linked from many headcanons, such as MicanPloz’s Genderswaps’ idea of having Kaity as a little sister and Oliver and Alice as his parents, Concert Conundrum’s headcanon of Hatsune Miku herself being his big sister, and Big Brother Mod bringing Ben’s... well, big bro into the family tree. Same applies to Grace’s family.
- Age Lift: Benjamin, even before the Errorverse's switch in ages, is younger than he is in canon. He and Grace were both 16/17 and were instead high-school dropouts. In addition, once the Errorverse's "age-halt effect" comes into play, they become 13 respectively. Soft Benjamin himself becomes 11 years old as a result of this too.
- Badass Family: Benjamin is already pretty badass on his own, but back that up with a whole family of angels and you get a pretty awesome family.
- Berserk Button: Do not. Mock. Softie’s. Gay. Relationship. In. Benjamin’s. Presence! Unless you want to rest in literal pieces, that is.
- Character Development: Over the course of his adventures, Benjamin gradually loses interest in doing rap-battles, instead priming his focus on helping others in need and becoming stronger as a person to protect his loved ones. While he is okay with doing them on occasion, it's not done nearly as often as he once did in his prime. However, this can be exploited to the point of manipulation, like with Deltarune's Weird Route."Not really, no. I'm not as big on them (rap-battles) as I used to be, despite still doing it on occasion. I've simply wanted to grow stronger as a person and keep those I love safe."
- Clothing Switch: Benjamin and Softie have been known to do this on occasion to prank others into thinking they’re each other. Of course, their crushes aren’t that easily fooled.
- Demonic Possession: Benjamin almost became victim of this at one point, though the one trying to possess him was fought off by him and Soul Boyfriend. Compared to an alternate version of himself that did get possessed, Ben got off lucky.
- Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: Prior to the events of Reclassified, Benjamin and Grace had both overpowered Toxinfect, not once, but twice, undoing the hold he had over his two vessels, Karilvatch and Duxiyn. Though, to be fair, the second encounter didn't prove easy for them.
- Happily Adopted: Inverted; he gladly adopts Soft Benjamin into his family, with the latter truly happy to have a genuinely loving family to support his dreams."I’m really proud I was able to take Softie under my wing and give him a nice, safe home to live in. It’s just so sweet seeing him smiling and happy to live with us! It’s great for us to chat about this! Thanks for mentioning it to me. It means a lot! [...] I know, right? What kind of parent would abuse their child like that? It’s sweet to see the little guy being treated with respect by those aside from his Pico, Grace and Sven, especially after he stood up for himself back there. A lot of kids in an orphanage back then made fun of him, which was really saddening. I’m happy that he finally has a family that genuinely cares for him. Heh, it makes me want to tear up when I think about how kind he is. He deserves a caring family AND to reach his dreams of becoming a famous painter, and I’m so glad we’re here for him, you know?"
- I See Dead People: Benjamin and Grace have this ability between them, allowing them to see and communicate with spirits of the deceased.
- The Unintelligible: Subverted for Benjamin as, like his Soft counterpart and other AU Boyfriends, he is fluently capable of speaking English without issues and rarely ever uses his "beep-boop" talk, which is used by his B-Side counterpart instead.
General trivia:
- Benjamin is good friends with Melodii and Parappa The Rapper. They usually play card games and go out for fast food at McWave’s every Friday.
- In addition, Parappa is a guy that inspired Benjamin to pursue his musical career in the first place.
- A while later, the three formed into the “BPM Crew” because of their similar motives in music-making.
- Benjamin also keeps people from trying to assume Melodii’s gender, knowing that they lack one.
- Benjamin, compared to his canon counterpart, lacks his Fearless Fool qualities, being more cautious in several situations and genuinely getting scared by tough times like the Corruption.
- B-Side Boyfriend instead takes the role of the fearless fool of the BFs in the Errorverse, and the one to use the original’s beep boop talking.
- Benjamin and Grace both have their own Mario OCs, revealed in FireMarioFan’s Mario Mix. These are Rapasaurus Rex and Chargin’ Chelsey, which are variations of the Rex and Chargin’ Chuck Mario enemies respectively.
- Benjamin and Sky are on much better terms than in canon, as while Sky was initially under a Yandere motive, she got better over time and earned Benjamin's trust, even if they couldn't be together as lovers.
- Benjamin and B-Sides Daddy Dearest vandalise the Fairests’ stuff every other Thursday.
- Benjamin babysits Evan on Sundays.
- Benjamin, B-Sides BF and Blue BF have re-enacted the Spider-Man pointing meme before.
- Benjamin collaborated with CG5 on “OK Friday” by the time his popularity peaked, sometime before getting drawn into the Errorverse’s main events.
Villains
Classic Greater-Scope Villain
Voiced by Oldum77 (formerly)
- Always a Bigger Fish: While setting his sights on the bigger EXEs out there, his power is vastly outmatched by that of Rewrite or even The End. And what's more, he even pales in comparison to Lord X, as revealed in one tweet.Lord X: It doesn't matter how many times you come back, aim for revenge on your foes, change ownership or even try to leave a mark in this universe; you are a weakling, Toxinfect... and always will be.
- Apocalypse How: He almost causes a Class X-4 apocalypse to several corners of the video game multiverse, but was thankfully stopped before he could do so.
- Disaster Dominoes: Not only did Toxinfect suffer his first defeat at the hands of Nitro, but he also got banished into a purgatory by Sonic, overpowered by Sky and another of his victims, beaten TWICE by Benjamin and Grace, despite twisting the rules the second time, and finally suffering a similar fate to William Afton, rendering him nothing but a burning memory.
- Even Evil Has Standards: He may be an absolute monster, but even he is against the thought of atrocious Sonic concepts.
- A God Am I: Shockingly, Toxinfect sees himself as above God, Death or even Satan himself."Don’t ask for God, Death or even SATAN to help you anymore. Because I am beyond those three false deities. I am something far more than anything that ever was. Because in this world... I AM FEAR!"
- God of Evil: Toxinfect's powers make him class as one, being purely evil to the core, potentially rivalling the powers of both Lord X and Sonic.OMT.
- Greater-Scope Villain: Toxinfect is this for all of the events of Sonic.EXE All-Stars and the true Big Bad.
- Irony: While proclaiming to be greater than even the original Sonic.EXE, Toxinfect inevitably became a joke like him (despite his existence canonically predating 2011!X) and cast out of the spotlight after his downfall.
- Killed Off for Real: While plotting his revenge against everybody who ruined his plans, Corrupthog, under the order from the series' true Greater-Scope Villain, FileName0X, telepathically grabs Toxinfect and blows him to shreds, rendering him a permanent goner.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: While Toxinfect is successful in slaying alternate versions of several EXEs, it comes back to bite him hard once they pursue him in spirit form and lure him straight into a trap.
- No Sympathy: Considering how low and heartless he is, especially after all he did to Sonic and his friends, it's hard to feel sorry for the monster after he's destroyed.
- Only Friend: The only such companion Toxinfect truly has, ironically, is his alternate D-Sides counterpart, dubbed MightMurderer.
- Stalker without a Crush: Toxinfect is this towards Nitro, having an unhealthy obsession with tormenting the teen physically and mentally just for the thrill of it. Needless to say, he gets hit hard once Nitro develops the bravery needed to kickstart the monster's ultimate downfall.
- Unperson: Not only does Toxinfect not make a direct appearance in any of the new timelines, but people like SonicFan50002 outright refuse to refer to him by name, with him only being referred to by his pronouns (he/him) or as "[REDACTED]".
- Villainous Breakdown: While surprisingly Crazy-Prepared when it comes to evil plans, Toxinfect is not above losing his patience or throwing a fit if all his contingency plans fail him. He also doesn't take well to Errorverse Sonic's "The Reason You Suck" Speech towards him. By the time he witnesses that Nitro just WON’T give up by any means, he drops all calm demeanour outright and concludes that he was going too soft on the kid. More so to the point that, when Nitro and April are both powered up for the end of the final battle, he is ABSOLUTELY LIVID when he shouts to his army to tear them to shreds, referring to them both as “rejects of nature”."You... I had it ALL! I had the entire MULTIVERSE in the palm of my grip, and you stripped EVERYTHING away from me! My methods of torture are too merciful for you. When I'm through with you, I'll make you suffer a MILLION times more than you have! JUST DIE ALREADY! [...] (to his army) TEAR THOSE REJECTS OF NATURE TO SHREDS!"

While EXEs under this sub-category may not have been the best when starting off, they underwent Character Development and got better as time went on.Created and voiced by BEC Enterprises / BECDoesDA
- Best Friend: Exegod and Exrath are seen together pretty often.
- Character Development: As time went on, Exegod changed from a young, impulsive demon to a much wiser individual.
- Decomposite Character: While his role in Sonic.EXE The Untold Origins is canon to his stories, his incarnation in the playable adaptation is solely canon to the original games instead.
- Expy: In Wrath of Exegod, his role is akin to that of Red, not only serving as the Big Bad, but also being the one to have murdered Brian's girlfriend, Melanie, through Mind Rape.
- One-Winged Angel: Exegod has this in the form of "Perfect Exegod", activated after literally swallowing the Master Emerald whole. It took Sonic utilising his Super form to even dent Exegod at that level of power.

The lead star of upcoming fan game, Sonic.EXE: Darkened Spirits, Exrath is the lead antagonist of that game and is one of five to show up in overthrowing Toxinfect and stopping his plans from succeeding.- Best Friend: Exegod is this to Exrath.
- Go Through Me: At one point before the games' events, Exrath had put himself front and centre to defend Phaton from Toxinfect.
Created by NotSoDevy
- All of the Other Reindeer: Phaton, surprisingly, feels this way about himself, believing he's not to be cared for just for being different to typical EXEs (purple eyes and a lack of blood tears; alongside the "boundaries" introduced following the big refresh of the creepypasta), which those like Exester and the ORIGINAL original Sonic.exe are able to relate to.
- Best Friend: Phaton has this bond with both Exegod and Exrath.
- Character Development: Phaton received this after exploring dimensions outside of his own, with the likes of Exrath and Puroto helping to spark out his more sympathetic traits. He eventually comes around once and for all, assisting in taking down his story's Greater-Scope Villain.
- Commonality Connection: Amidst the Sonic.EXEs found throughout these games, Phaton and SonicClone are both versions of Sonic who each became Brainwashed and Crazy, each undergoing their own form of Heel–Face Turn over time.
- Gratuitous French: Phaton is capable of fluently speaking French, based on a gag themed around him in Paris.
- Official Couple: Phaton is this with Puroto.
- Otherworldly and Sexually Ambiguous: Phaton has officially been confirmed to be genderfluid by Devy himself, being able to take any video game character appearance, including female protagonists like Lilac.
- Promoted to Playable: While not in this game, he is stated to be a playable character in the "Sonic.EXE Simulator" mode in upcoming fangame, Sonic.EXE Forever, alongside being a playable denizen in Sonic.EXE: Project Eclipse.
- Purple Is Powerful: Compared to a typical Sonic.EXE, Phaton's pupils are instead purple, and the Deliberately Monochrome landscapes he creates are often adorned with purple decorating them, accenting the power he has from the Black Phantom.
- Straw Nihilist: In his story of origin, Phaton was this; a twisted psychopath who took pleasure in turning innocents into Brainwashed and Crazy "phantomite" minions under his control, and seeing himself as Above Good and Evil.
Created by Lucsan 2015
- Early Installment Character-Design Difference: In early versions of the game, Exruby took on the design style of Sonic Mania, since the game was originally set to have the characters in that style. As time went on, his sprite style changed to be like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (which is used in this game series), but then finalised as a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles-styled character.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: We don't yet know what the motives are behind Exruby's desired revenge, but from what we have to go by in the teasers on Lucsan 2015's channel, it was likely not pretty.
- Suicide Dare: Exruby tries to do this to Tails in the Final Demo to kill him quicker, which ends up backfiring and forcing him to attempt to throw Tails into a spike pit by force.

Originating from Glitched Amy: The Beginning, Puroto (formerly known as Glitched Amy) is the lead antagonist of her game, as well as one of the characters sent out to take down Toxinfect in All-Stars 2's worst ending.- Official Couple: Puroto is this with Phaton.
- Promoted to Playable: Puroto became this with the release of Sonic.EXE: Project Eclipse.
- The Smurfette Principle: Of the cast of EXEs seen between these games, Puroto is currently the only female and, in fact, the only one of the five to not be possessing any form of Sonic, instead having possessed Amy.
Any cameo characters intended for Sonic Reclassified
- Being Evil Sucks: Exeller notes during the worst ending in Whisper of Soul that despite his obvious glee while on a murderous rampage, his inborn psychosis and mastery of time magic means that he has no actual freedom. He can't resist his urge to kill or to use his powers, both making it so that he's trapped killing the same six people forever (along with whoever else that gets in the way). Even when he succeeds in his goal of attaining ultimate power and his revenge in a given loop, he'll eventually reset the timeline anew out of sheer boredom. This seems to eventually stop come Round 2's Best Ending, where he regains his original form.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: In the DLC, Exeller is understandably unnerved by the Uncanny Valley nature of the Majin Forest, which is just as unsettling as its source of inspiration.
- Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: This is only in play if Exeller is the one to reset the timeline back to the beginning of a round. If it's Alice that does this, he forgets anything that happened leading up to that point.
- Wouldn't Hurt a Child: Downplayed for Exeller. While he has attacked and tormented Tails before, he's more upset about having to kill Cream due to her innocent nature, only having to do such a deed due to her role in the overarching prophecy.
- Unseen Evil: All throughout their game of origin, they are never seen directly killing Sonic and Tails, nor do we know their motivations for doing it, other than making people be imprisoned in "the hell".
Most tropes for Sark are already covered over on this page.
- Hate Sink: The aforementioned points in the Eye of Three character page are clearly understandable for why people loathe him, which extends to in-universe, where he's not a popular topic in the Book of Executables in Terra.
- Actual Pacifist: They are outright against the idea of murder, and show remorse for anyone they unwillingly kill and corrupt into an EXE.
- Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Despite Exester not being female, they still fill in the Gentle Girl side to their big brother, Nameless, and his Brooding Boy approach, due to lacking most emotions.
- Children Are Innocent: Exester fits the bill perfectly, having the mindset and innocence of a child, including the child-like hobbies of drawing and playing.
- The Determinator: They are stated to be persistent in finishing some tasks in that they won't even sleep until it's done.
- For Happiness: Exester's main goal is to make anyone around them happy.
- Glitch Entity: Compared to a lot of other EXEs at the time, Exester isn't a demonic entity, but rather a code-based one.
- Hyperactive Metabolism: Like with the Frisk and Kris of their canon games, Exester has this, being able to eat any kind of food to recover from an injury.
- Shrinking Violet: Exester has been known to be shy around strangers, and can get emotional easily.
