Mario FNF Port was a Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod by OVERNAI that has Boyfriend face off with a familiar red plumber, along with some others, some Boyfriend has fought before, and some new. The demo currently consists of twelve songs.

In March 2024, the mod was officially stated to be cancelled due to OVERNAI dealing with intense burnout to the point of having no desire to continue the mod, with the composers (and OVERNAI himself) releasing teasers and songs that were made prior to cancellation. On March 30, 2024, a cancelled build was released.

The mod can be downloaded here, and the cancelled V2 build can be downloaded here.

This mod provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: Boyfriend fights back against the Wario Apparition Feed It a Bomb style, and manages to survive an encounter with MX and Lord X at the same time.
  • Adapted Out: Lucas doesn’t appear at all in the demo.
  • An Arm and a Leg: Only at random times in "Obey" V2 will Giga Weegee gradually lose his limbs, to the point of being a giant Flying Face by the end of the song.
  • Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: Giga Weegee fits the bill, with him towering over Mario, Luigi, and the city they're fighting in.
  • Dual Boss: MX and Lord X team up to defeat Boyfriend during "Hellish Trinity" and "Triple Appear", while Mr. L is fighting Girlfriend elsewhere.
  • Feed It a Bomb: During "Apparitionous", you need to hit bomb notes to throw bombs into the Wario Apparition's mouth, otherwise Boyfriend gets Eaten Alive for a One-Hit Kill. Subverted as a V1 exclusive.
  • Goomba Stomp: If Boyfriend loses MX's songs, then MX will kill him by performing a particularly brutal version of this trope, jumping high up in the air and then squashing him into blood.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: THE FORGIVEN's fate.
  • Lethal Joke Character: OeGang’s Mario puts up a pretty good fight, despite all the memes in his song. In V2 his song gets even faster.
  • Marathon Level: "Triple Appear" clocks in at 5 minutes and 43 seconds.
  • Playing with Fire: Underworld Luigi's various poses have him generate fire in his hands.
  • Song Style Shift: "Innocent" (and consequently "Not So Innocent" after it) starts out with Boyfriend singing the classic "1-1" theme from Super Mario Bros. before the audio glitches out, after which the song changes to a remix of the boss fight music from Super Mario Bros. 2, similar to how the music that played when MX chased Lucas in Mario '85 was also a remix of that song.
  • Suspicious Video-Game Generosity: In "Apparitionous", "Obey" and "Find Me", the player starts off with full health. Each of the listed songs come with different gimmicks that warrant this start.
    • "Apparitionous": The player cannot regain health in this song, and Wario Apparition sends out super dense note patterns. You also have to Feed It a Bomb only once or else Boyfriend gets eaten alive.note
    • "Obey": Giga Weegee drains the player's health everytime he presses a note. Fortunately, the player can still regain health.
    • "Find Me": Victim #1 will Jump Scare the player a couple of times. Every jumpscare turns Boyfriend into a One-Hit-Point Wonder, but it's still possible to regain health.
  • The Cameo: In the background of "Plumber Panic", Some characters from Vs. Impostor, Grimbo, Lord X, Horror Mario and invokedNekoamon can be seen.
