Illusion Arts is a defunct effects studio that mainly specialized in matte paintings. It was established in 1983 by effects artists Syd Dutton and Bill Taylor. The company had a hand in over 150 projects over two decades.
The company folded in 2009 after working on G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Currently, Taylor has returned to being a freelance artist while Dutton has moved to Zoic Studiosnote .
