A company opened in 1927 by effects artist Howard A. Anderson, The Howard Anderson Company was an established optical effects studio that worked on many TV shows and movies, most noticeably the original Star Trek series, King Dinosaur and 12 to the Moon. The latter two eventually gaining infamy after airing on seasons two & five of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
