    Kota Izumi

Kota Izumi

Quirk: Water Gun

Blade(s): Praxis

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c_chara_main80_1.png

Mandalay's young nephew. His parents were heroes who were killed in the line of duty. He possesses a Quirk like theirs that lets him generate water.

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: He debuts during the Internships arc instead of during the Training Camp arc.
  • Not So Similar: To Bakugo. Both are spiky-haired elemental users with serious anger issues and when Izuku first meets Kota, he gets reminded of his former friend-turned-bully. However, the key difference is that, unlike Bakugo, Kota has a valid reason for his anger and is deep down a genuinely good boy who needs proper guidance to get over his problems.

    Eri

Eri

Quirk: Rewind

Blades: Jin

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eri_well_dressed.png

A young girl Izuku saves from a group of Yakuza.

    Ichiban Kasuga

Ichiban Kasuga

Quirk: Quirkless

Blade: Zenobia

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ichiban.png

A Sotenbori resident and member of the Yakuza.

  • Age Lift: He is 18 years old instead of 22 here.
  • Badass in a Nice Suit: He wears a dark red suit, and kicks plenty of ass.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Arrives in Sotenbori just in time to help Pyra fend off a Nomu during the League's invasion.
  • Hero of Another Story: Much like Izuku and Ryuji, he is said to have the potential to be a True Dragon.
  • Humble Hero: Anti-Hero, since he works for the Yakuza, but still. Despite Arakawa offering to buy him custom-made shoes as opposed to the Quirkless Red Sneakers he wears, Ichiban refuses, not only because he doesn't want to take away money from his boss for something like that, but because he doesn't want to hide who he is.

Blades

    Praxis

Praxis

Role: Attacker

Element: Water

Weapon: Megalance

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xc2_praxis_artwork.png

Kota's Blade.

    Jin

Jin

Role: Attacker

Element: Ice

Weapon: Nodachi

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8oshfv7.png

Eri's Blade.

  • Adaptational Heroism: In canon, Jin was part of the Torna group, determined to kill the Architect. As Alrest was destroyed at the beginning of the story, and he returned to a Core Crystal, that motivation is nonexistent here.
  • Adaptational Late Appearance: Jin appeared in the first arc of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Here, he appears extremely late in comparison.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Since he didn't become a Flesh Eater here, Jin doesn't get the near Story-Breaker Power he had in canon. That said, he's still a powerful Ice Blade that was known as the most powerful Blade in Torna.
  • Nice Guy: Eri trusts him a lot, and he's very polite and grateful.

    Zenobia

Zenobia

Role: Attacker

Element: Wind

Weapon: Greataxe

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/xc2_zenobia_artwork.png

Ichiban's Blade.

  • Adaptational Modesty: Zenobia wears way more clothes than in canon here.
  • Blood Knight: She is always eager to fight, and even got disappointed she couldn't fight Izuku or his Blades during their time in Sotenbori.
  • Blow You Away: Her element is wind.

Shiketsu High

    Camie Utsushimi — Mirage

Camie Utsushimi — Mirage

Quirk: Glamour

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/camie_utsushimi_ones_justice_2_artwork.png

A second-year hero student from Shiketsu that meets Izuku and his friends during the Spring Internships. She is also Tenya's unofficial girlfriend.

  • Action Girl: Becomes an even better example of it after learning how to use Heat.
  • Adaptational Badass: She can make her illusions physical by adding Heat.
  • Adaptational Early Appearance: She debuts during the Hero Killer arc instead of during the Provisional License Exam.
  • Adaptational Name Change: She goes by Mirage, instead of Maboromicamie here.
  • Assassin Outclassin': Her training with Heat improved her senses to the point she can feel Toga's presence even when the villain is hiding in the shadows. She successfully evades being attacked and replaced by her prior to the License Exam arc.
  • Doppleganger Attack: By infusing Heat to her Quirk, Camie is able to make physical clones of herself, Shadow Justsu-style.
  • Jive Turkey: She speaks mostly on Twitter lingo.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: She mentions having brought cuffs and a blindfold for her trip to I-Island.
  • Odd Couple: Extroverted, sassy, Genki Girl Camie and uptight, serious By-the-Book Cop Tenya. Although they can't make it official since Shiketsu does not allow students to have relationships.
  • Tempting Fate: She makes the mistake of asking what could go wrong when the Nomus attack Sotembori. Cuts to the Winged Nomu snatching Izuku and Theory away. Camie has the decency to apologize for it.

    Inasa Yoarashi — Gale Force

Inasa Yoarashi — Gale Force

Quirk: Whirlwind

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/inasa_yoarashi_one27s_justice_2_artwork.png

A towering, energetic, and eccentric first-year student from Shiketsu High. Despite being a fan of U.A., he turned down his admission and enrolled at Shiketsu.

  • Easily Forgiven: Once Shoto apologizes to him for his rude behaviour during the Recommendations Exam, Inasa is quick to realize his honesty and befriend him and other 1-A students.
  • Hot-Blooded: He is really excited upon meeting U.A. students, constantly shouting in enthusiasm.

    Seiji Shishikura

Seiji Shishikura

Quirk: Meatball

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/seiji_shishikura_one27s_justice_2_artwork.png

A stern, serious, and uptight second-year student from Shiketsu High with a dignified but elitist attitude towards heroism.

  • Berserk Button: He hates when people point out how squinty his eyes are.
  • Bullying a Dragon: It wasn't bad enough to underestimate Tenya's abilites, but he also insulted both his brother and best friend. Needless to say Tenya grows tired of his attitude and beats the crap out of him immeadiatly.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: His one-sided match against Tenya evolves into this when Shishikura presses his Berserk Button and insults Izuku. Tenya promtply knocks him out with a single kick.
  • Hate Sink: Even more than canon. Shishikura is nothing but smug and self-righteous bastard who wants everybody else to bend to his rigid and bordeline tyrannical worldview, and has no problem trying to sabotage anyone who stands in his way.
  • Jerkass: His default behaviour. Apparently, he has the bad habit of butting in conversations that are not of his business if Fubuki's comments are anything to go by.
  • Mirror Character: With purple hair, hypocritical and spoiled brat attitude and overall Nominal Hero behaviour, he is essentially Shiketsu's equivalent of Shinso.
  • Nominal Hero: This guy acts more like a Stain fanboy than hero student with how much self-rightousness about "true and fake heroes" nonsense he spouts. Of course, this gets him on Tenya's bad side pretty damn fast.
  • Shadow Archetype: To Tenya. Shishikura represents all the worst aspects of Tenya's early character traits, being an uptight Control Freak always thinking he is in the right, with none of his endearing qualities.

    Fubuki Azuma

Fubuki Azuma

Quirk: Unknown

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/fubuki_2.png

Daughter of the Number Three Hero, East Star, and one of Shiketsu's top students.

  • Age Lift: Instead of being in her late 30s, she is 16-17 years old in this story.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: She is only tolerated in the Alliance because of her power and her family connections, other than that, no one stands Fubuki, with her often coming to blows (both in a word and physical way) with Simon and Nia repeatdly.
  • Hidden Buxom: She is described as being as endowed as Momo and Pyra.
  • Heroic Lineage: Like her mother, and most members of the Azuma family, she is training to become a Pro Hero.
  • Token Evil Teammate: By far the most morally bankrupted amongst the Alliance command, with even Yamashiro displaying more sympathethic qualities than her.

Seiai Academy

    Saiko Intelli

Saiko Intelli

Quirk: IQ

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/saiko_intelli_shading_tv_animation_design_sheet.jpg

A young hero student from Seiai Academy that Class 1-A meets during the License Exam. She is also Majima's surrogate daughter.

  • Adaptational Badass: She can use Heat, like most characters.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: In a stark contrast to her arrogant and smug canon self, Saiko is a lot friendlier and affectionate towards other people. Given her humble origins, you can see why.
  • Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: An Inverted and surrogate example. She is quick to latch on to Majima and call him "daddy" when they meet again years later, much to his shock and everyone's embarassement. Not really helped by Saiko stating that: "Just because I'm older doesn't mean you aren't my daddy."
  • Challenge Seeker: Immeadiatly jumps into the field during the License Exam to take on Izuku and has no problem on fighting him, Fubuki and Shindo at the same time.
  • Innocent Innuendo: Saiko has the habit of calling Majima "daddy" in the most unconfortable moments:
Saiko, after finding out about Izuku's week long sex marathon with his girlfriends: Well, you certainly take to Daddy's Balls Out philosophy.
Izuku: Don't put it like that!
  • This Banana is Armed: She uses a pair of Heat-infused thermos as weapons during her fights. They are capable of packing a mean hit.

Ketsubutsu Academy

    Ms. Joke

Emi Fukukado — Ms. Joke

Quirk: Outburst

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/laugh_dammit.png

A pro heroine and teacher from Ketsubutsu Academy who had a teasing relationship with Aizawa/Eraser Head due to past history.

  • Cool Teacher: To Class 2-2 of Ketsubutsu.
  • The Gadfly: She spent years teasing Aizawa with her "Let's get married" joke, just because it annoyed him to no end.

    Yo Shindo

Yo Shindo — Grand

Quirk: Vibrate

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shake.png

A good-looking second-year student at Ketsubutsu Academy whose friendly demeanor hides a somewhat sinister and calculating personality.

  • Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Izuku is quick to see how much of a cunning and Manipulative Bastard he is behind his Nice Guy act.
  • Determinator: While intimidated by Izuku's presence, he doesn't backs down from the challenge of facing him, and later having to fight Izuku, Saiko and Fubuki, all of which are powerful Heat users, he stands up, even if it's clear he can't win.
  • Identical Stranger: To Izuku. Of course, his girlfriends, who also catch up with his deceiving looks, don't share this thought.

Civilians

    Inko Midoriya

Midoriya Inko

Quirk: Attraction of Small Things

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/inko_midoriya.png

Izuku's mom. She has spent the most time raising him while her husband works overseas.

  • Adults Are Useless: While she is a good person, she has not been the best parent in not supporting her son. Even as he's hurt physically and emotionally, she is of no help to Izuku and is oblivious to his pain or doesn't do anything about it if she does notice.
    • Averted after Nia turns herself in. When Nezu explained the situation to her, Inko offered to let Nia and Dromarch stay with her, Izuku, and Pyra/Mythra, threatening to sue U.A. if they didn't allow it.
  • Bear Hug: She gives strong hugs when she's happy. When she hugs Shouto, Izuku has to bring a crowbar to let him breathe.
  • I Want Grandkids: Inko is very happy with the large number of girls showing interest in her son due to the fact it means she can get a large number of grandchildren.
    • This is further emphasized when Poppi declares Izuku to be her Papa during the Sports Festival, Inko lets out a shriek of glee that causes an earthquake and makes Jiro believe her Quirk is like Present Mics but up a notch.
    • She shrieks again when immediately after Pyra decides to adopt Shoto.
    • She somehow senses when the group comes over and comes outside, immediately identifying Poppi and Todoroki as grandkids, despite never meeting Todoroki or knowing about Pyra's adoption, and tackles them hard. Izuku has to get a crowbar to separate them.
  • Undying Loyalty: Cares for Izuku greatly and would do anything for him.

    David Shield

David Shield

Quirk: Bendy Fingers

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/david_shield.png

David is a long-time friend and former sidekick of All Might and Melissa's father.

  • Adaptational Heroism: He wasn't the one responsible for the "fake" villain attack during the I-Island arc here.
  • Affectionate Nickname: He calls All Might "Toshi", while All Might calls him "Dave".
  • Gadgeteer Genius: His scientific pursuits revolve around inventing support items for heroes.
  • Restored My Faith in Humanity: Izuku's speech during the Sports Festival made him realize that the world will be in safe hands once All Might retires.

    Rei Todoroki

Rei Todoroki (neƩ Himura)

Quirk: Frost

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rei_todoroki_anime_season_4.png

Shoto's mother, and Endeavor's ex-wife.

  • Good Is Not Soft: Unlike in canon, she didn't take Endeavor's abuse lightly. In fact, she even gave him a frostbite scar from one of their fights.
  • Parents as People: Rei did her best to raise her kids, but the pressure of raising three kids, not to mention the "death" of one, plus Endeavor's own awful parenting skills, she inadvertently caused more harm than good to her family.
  • Silver Fox: Downplayed. She is in her late 40s but is described as being as breathtakingly beautiful.
