Ganadala Music Talent

B-Project

    Kitakore

Applying to both:

  • Childhood Friends: They knew each other from get-togethers in the upper class sphere, and became friends from it.
  • Hair-Contrast Duo: Where Kitakado is more reserved, princely, and on the masculine side of bishounen looks, Korekuni is more emotional and leans towards feminine beauty.

  • Fiction 500: His family's company is stupidly rich. They have bases all over Japan, and even expanded to islands (one of which the boys get themselves stranded on in the anime).
  • Princely Young Man: Kitakore is like this in general, but Tomohisa has this as his default personality.

Ryuji Korekuni

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: It's certainly part of his appeal, being one of the few members of B-Project who's difficult to work with coupled with his bad temper and very rough and masculine way of speaking.
  • In the Hood: In his main Thrive outfit.
  • Ineffectual Loner: Tries to act tough with his teammates, fails miserably.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: It's not worth it to piss him off, as he's a generally ornery boy.
  • Running Gag: In season 1, he has a hard time trying to put off his pride to wear cat ears for a photoshoot. This eventually becomes something that the rest of Thrive keeps reminding him.
  • Tsundere: Pretends not to be interested in Tsubasa yet starts blushing as soon as he's near her.

  • The Stoic: Of Killer King.

    Anime Only Characters

Tsubasa Sumisora

Voiced By: Hisako Kanemoto (Koudou*Ambitious), Asami Seto (Zeccho Emotion)
The newly admitted A&R person for Gandala Music.

Sakutaro Yashamaru

Voiced By: Kosuke Toriumi
The manager of all of the B-Project boys, and a mentor figure for Tsubasa. Cheerful and hard working, he is the rock on which B-Project first formed, and to a great many of them their VIP. Though there is something lurking behind his nice face...

  • Ambiguously Gay
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Acts coy and cheerful, but he's a talented producer who can manage not only one but three idol groups by himself. When in season 2 Tsubasa has to deal with the three groups (plus Killer King) by herself after Yashamaru left the company she's amazed at how good he was at his job.
  • Cynicism Catalyst: His sister's death drew him to enter show business in order to get revenge on the Sumisora family.
  • Revenge by Proxy: He knows Tsubasa is entirely innocent in the matters of Gandala and especially whatever happened between her father and Yashamaru. However, she still holds her father's blood in her, so he wanted to show her up as well.
  • What Happened to the Mouse?: Vanished at the end of season 1, and season 2 shows that no one at Gandara except Tsubasa knows the reason of his dissappereance. His whereabouts are unknown and his table is left intact. He comes and goes in the rest of episodes.
